| 3 | Integrated treatment for lower-limb stage Ⅱ thromboangiitis obliterans by interventional therapy and oral administration of Chinese medicine: a randomized controlled clinical trial显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To observe if integrated treatment is better than other therapies for lower-limb stage thromboangiitis obliterans(TAO).ⅡMETHODS: Ninety lower-limb stage randomly dividedⅡ i or worse TAO patients werento three groups: group A(30 cases) treated by intervention and oral administration of Chinese medicine; groupB(30 cases) treated by intervention alone; and group C(30 cases) treated only with oral administration of Chinese medicine. | 5 | Lamellar hafnium ditelluride as an ultrasensitive surface-enhanced Raman scattering platform for label-free detection of uric acid显示文摘The development of two-dimensional(2D)transition metal dichalcogenides has been in a rapid growth phase for the utilization in surface-enhanced Raman scattering(SERS)analysis.Here,we report a promising 2D transition metal tellurides(TMTs)material,hafnium ditelluride(HfTe2),as an ultrasensitive platform for Raman identification of trace molecules,which demonstrates extraordinary SERS activity in sensitivity,uniformity,and reproducibility.The highest Raman enhancement factor of 2.32×10^(6)is attained for a rhodamine 6G molecule through the highly efficient charge transfer process at the interface between the HfTe2 layered structure and the adsorbed molecules.At the same time,we provide an effective route for large-scale preparation of SERS substrates in practical applications via a facile stripping strategy.Further application of the nanosheets for reliable,rapid,and label-free SERS fingerprint analysis of uric acid molecules,one of the biomarkers associated with gout disease,is performed,which indicates arresting SERS signals with the limits of detection as low as 0.1 mmol/L.The study based on this type of 2D SERS substrate not only reveals the feasibility of applying TMTs to SERS analysis,but also paves the way for nanodiagnostics,especially early marker detection. | YANG LI HAOLIN CHEN YANXIAN GUO KANGKANG WANG YUE ZHANG PEILIN LAN JINHAO GUO WEN ZHANG HUIQING ZHONG ZHOUYI GUO ZHENGFEI ZHUANG ZHIMING LIU | 2021 | Photonics Research2021,9,6: | 2 |

| 8 | Observation of Pt-{100}-p(2×2)-O reconstruction by an environmental TEM显示文摘The surface structure of noble metal nanoparticles usually plays a crucial role during the catalytic process in the fields of energy and environment. It has been studied extensively by surface analytic methods, such as scanning tunneling microscopy. However, it is still challenging to secure a direct observation of the structural evolution of surfaces of nanocatalysts in reaction(gas and heating) conditions at the atomic scale. Here we report an in-situ observation of atomic reconstruction on Pt {100} surfaces exposed to oxygen in an environmental transmission electron microscope(TEM). Our high-resolution TEM images revealed that Pt-{100}-p(2×2)-O reconstruction occurs during the reaction between oxygen atoms and{100} facets. | 15 | Responses of diff erent biodiversity indices to subsampling efforts in lotic macroinvertebrate assemblages显示文摘As a less time-consuming procedure, subsampling technology has been widely used in biological monitoring and assessment programs. It is clear that subsampling counts af fect the value of traditional biodiversity indices, but its ef fect on taxonomic distinctness(TD) indices is less well studied. Here, we examined the responses of traditional(species richness, Shannon-Wiener diversity) and TD(average taxonomic distinctness: Δ +, and variation in taxonomic distinctness: Λ +) indices to subsample counts using a random subsampling procedure from 50 to 400 individuals, based on macroinvertebrate datasets from three dif ferent river systems in China. At regional scale, taxa richness asymptotically increased with ?xed-count size; ≥250–300 individuals to express 95% information of the raw data. In contrast, TD indices were less sensitive to the subsampling procedure. At local scale, TD indices were more stable and had less deviation than species richness and Shannon-Wiener index, even at low subsample counts, with ≥100 individuals needed to estimate 95% of the information of the actual Δ + and Λ + in the three river basins. We also found that abundance had a certain ef fect on diversity indices during the subsampling procedure, with dif ferent subsampling counts for species richness and TD indices varying by regions. Therefore, we suggest that TD indices are suitable for biodiversity assessment and environment monitoring. | 17 | Environmental filtering and spatial processes equally contributed to macroinvertebrate metacommunity dynamics in the highly urbanized river networks in Shenzhen, South China显示文摘Background:Disentangling the relative roles of environmental filtering and spatial processes in structuring ecological communities is a central topic in metacommunity ecology.Metacommunity ecology in the temperate river ecosystems has been well developed,while less attention has been paid to subtropical urban river networks.Here,we examined the ecological factors and seasonal difference in structuring macroinvertebrates metacommunity assembly in the subtropical urban river networks in Shenzhen,South China.Results:Our results revealed that there was no significant distinction of macroinvertebrate community composition among seasons,with only the relative abundance of Mollusca and Odonata significantly differed in both wet and dry seasons.One possible explanation was that most macroinvertebrates are generally pollution-tolerant taxa characterized with nonseasonal life cycle.In addition,distance-based redundancy analysis and variation partitioning approach revealed that metacommunity was determined equally by the environmental and dispersal-related factors.Further,our results showed that,although a slight temporal variation of relative contribution,the identity and explanation power of ecological factors were different among seasons.Specifically,stronger environmental filtering structuring community dynamics was observed in the dry than wet seasons,which might be owing to higher environmental heterogeneity under a low water-flow condition.Moreover,we detected that the influence of spatial processes was stronger in the wet than dry seasons,indicating an obvious dispersal processes due to high connectivity among sites.Conclusion:Overall,our results revealed that environmental and spatial factors equally explained variations of macroinvertebrate metacommunity,implying the necessity of considering dispersal-related processes structuring ecological communities in river bioassessment programs.Moreover,degraded habitat conditions and water quality were the predominant factors that affected macroinvertebrate communities,indicating the significance and feasibility of improving local abiotic conditions to sustain local biodiversity.Further,our findings revealed the importance of seasonal dynamics of these urban river networks in structuring macroinvertebrate metacommunity.Thereby,our study improves the understanding of ecological processes governing macroinvertebrate metacommunity and underlines the idea that community ecology studies should go beyond the single snapshot survey in river networks. | Zhenyuan Liu Tingting Zhou Yongde Cui Zhengfei Li Weimin Wang Yushun Chen Zhicai Xie | 2021 | Ecological Processes2021,10,1: | 0 |
