Finite-Time Convergence Disturbance Rejection Control for a Flexible Timoshenko Manipulator显示文摘This paper focuses on a new finite-time convergence disturbance rejection control scheme design for a flexible Timoshenko manipulator subject to extraneous disturbances. To suppress the shear deformation and elastic oscillation, position the manipulator in a desired angle, and ensure the finitetime convergence of disturbances,we develop three disturbance observers(DOs)and boundary controllers.Under the derived DOs-based control schemes, the controlled system is guaranteed to be uniformly bounded stable and disturbance estimation errors converge to zero in a finite time.In the end, numerical simulations are established by finite difference methods to demonstrate the effectiveness of the devised scheme by selecting appropriate parameters. | Zhijia Zhao Zhijie Liu | 2021 | IEEE/CAA Journal of Automatica Sinica2021,8,1: | 4
Modeling and adaptive control for a spatial flexible spacecraft with unknown actuator failures显示文摘In this paper,we address simultaneous control of a flexible spacecraft’s attitude and vibrations in a three-dimensional space under input disturbances and unknown actuator failures.Using Hamilton’s principle, the system dynamics is modeled as an infinite dimensional system captured using partial differential equations. Moreover,a novel adaptive fault tolerant control strategy is developed to suppress the vibrations of the flexible panel in the course of the attitude stabilization. To determine whether the system energies, angular velocities and transverse deflections, remain bounded and asymptotically decay to zero in the case wherein the number of actuator failures is infinite,a Lyapunov-based stability analysis is conducted. Finally, extensive numerical simulations are performed to demonstrate the performance of the proposed adaptive control strategy. | Zhijie LIU Zhiji HAN Zhijia ZHAO Wei HE | 2021 | Science China(Information Sciences)2021,64,5: | 3
The C_(6)D_(6)detector system on the Back-n beam line of CSNS显示文摘Introduction The neutron capture cross sections are very important in the field of nuclear device design and basic physics research.Hydrogen-free liquid scintillator such as C_(6)D_(6)detectors are widely used in the neutron capture cross-sectional measurements for the low neutron sensitivity and fast time response. The Back-n white neutron source at China Spallation Neutron Source is the first spallation white neutron source in China, and it is suitable for neutron capture cross-sectional measurement.Materials and methods A C_(6)D_(6)detector system was built in the Back-n experimental station. The pulse height weighting technique was used to determine the system’s detection efficiency. The response to gamma rays of the C_(6)D_(6)detector was measured, and the energy resolution function was determined.Monte Carlo simulation with Geant4 code was carried out to get the weighting function of this C_(6)D_(6)detector system.Additionally, the systematic uncertainty of the weighting function was also determined. Conclusion According to the experimental and simulation results, this C_(6)D_(6)detector system can be used to measure neutron capture cross section. | Jie Ren Xichao Ruan Jie Bao Guangyuan Luan Wei Jiang Qi An Huaiyong Bai Ping Cao Qiping Chen Yonghao Chen Pinjing Cheng Zengqi Cui Ruirui Fan Changqing Feng Minhao Gu Fengqin Guo Changcai Han Zijie Han Guozhu He Yongcheng He Yuefeng He Hanxiong Huang Weiling Huang Xiru Huang Xiaolu Ji Xuyang Ji Haoyu Jiang Hantao Jing Ling Kang Mingtao Kang Bo Li Lun Li Qiang Li Xiao Li Yang Li Yang Li Rong Liu Shubin Liu Xingyan Liu Yinglin Ma Changjun Ning Binbin Qi Zhaohui Song Hong Sun Xiaoyang Sun Zhijia Sun Zhixin Tan Hongqing Tang Jingyu Tang Pengcheng Wang Qi Wang Taofeng Wang Yanfeng Wang Zhaohui Wang Zheng Wang Jie Wen Zhongwei Wen Qingbiao Wu Xiaoguang Wu Xuan Wu Likun Xie Yiwei Yang Han Yi Li Yu Tao Yu Yongji Yu Guohui Zhang Jing Zhang Linhao Zhang Liying Zhang Qingmin Zhang Qiwei Zhang Xianpeng Zhang Yuliang Zhang Zhiyong Zhang Yingtan Zhao Liang Zhou Zuying Zhou Danyang Zhu Kejun Zhu Peng Zhu | 2019 | Radiation Detection Technology and Methods2019,3,3: | 1

Modeling and Adaptive Neural Network Control for a Soft Robotic Arm With Prescribed Motion Constraints显示文摘This paper presents a dynamic model and performance constraint control of a line-driven soft robotic arm.The dynamics model of the soft robotic arm is established by combining the screw theory and the Cosserat theory. The unmodeled dynamics of the system are considered, and an adaptive neural network controller is designed using the backstepping method and radial basis function neural network. The stability of the closed-loop system and the boundedness of the tracking error are verified using Lyapunov theory. The simulation results show that our approach is a good solution to the motion constraint problem of the line-driven soft robotic arm. | Yan Yang Jiangtao Han Zhijie Liu Zhijia Zhao Keum-Shik Hong | 2023 | IEEE/CAA Journal of Automatica Sinica2023,10,2: | 1
Autonomous Control Strategy of a Swarm System Under Attack Based on Projected View and Light Transmittance显示文摘In the study of a visual projection field with swarm movements,an autonomous control strategy is presented in this paper for a swarm system under attack. To ensure a fast swarm dynamic response and stable spatial cohesion in a complex environment,a new hybrid swarm motion model is proposed by introducing global visual projection information to a traditional local interaction mechanism. In the face of attackers, individuals move towards the largest free space according to the projected view of the environment, rather than directly in the opposite direction of the attacker. Moreover, swarm individuals can certainly regroup without dispersion after the attacker leaves. On the other hand, the light transmittance of each individual is defined based on global visual projection information to represent its spatial freedom and relative position in the swarm. Then,an autonomous control strategy with adaptive parameters is proposed according to light transmittance to guide the movement of swarm individuals. The simulation results demonstrate in detail how individuals can avoid attackers safely and reconstruct ordered states of swarm motion. | Xuejing Lan Wenbiao Xu Zhijia Zhao Guiyun Liu | 2021 | IEEE/CAA Journal of Automatica Sinica2021,8,3: | 0
Degradation Diagnostics from the Subsurface of Lithium-Ion Battery Electrodes显示文摘Despite the long-established rocking-chair theory of lithium-ion batteries(LIBs),developing novel characterization methodology with higher spatiotemporal resolution facilitates a better understanding of the solid electrolyte interphase studies to shape the reaction mechanisms. In this work,we develop a Xenon ion plasma focused ion beam(Xe+PFIB)-based characterization technique to probe the cross-sectional interface of both ternary cathode and graphite anode electrodes, with the focus on revealing the chemical composition and distribution underneath the electrode surface by in-depth analysis of secondary ions.Particularly, the lithium fluoride is detected in the pristine cathode prior to contact with the electrolyte, reflecting that the electrode degradation is in the form of the loss of lithium inventory during electrode preparation. This degradation is related to the hydrolysis of the cathode material and the decomposition of the PVDF binder.Through the quantitative analysis of the transition-metal degradation products, manganese is found to be the dominant element in the newly formed inactive fluoride deposition on the cathode, while no transition metal signal can be found inside the anode electrode. These insights at high resolution implemented via a PFIB-based characterization technique not only enrich the understanding of the degradation mechanism in the LIBs but also identify and enable a high-sensitivity methodology to obtain the chemical survey at the subsurface, which will help remove the capacity-fade observed in most LIBs. | Xuhui Yao Tomas Samoril JiriDluhos John F.Watts Zhijia Du Bohang Song SRavi P.Silva Tan Sui Yunlong Zhao | 2022 | Energy & Environmental Materials2022,5,2: | 0
Neural-Network-Based Adaptive Finite-Time Control for a Two-Degree-of-Freedom Helicopter System With an Event-Triggering Mechanism显示文摘Helicopter systems present numerous benefits over fixed-wing aircraft in several fields of application.Developing control schemes for improving the tracking accuracy of such systems is crucial. This paper proposes a neural-network(NN)-based adaptive finite-time control for a two-degree-of-freedom helicopter system. In particular,a radial basis function NN is adopted to solve uncertainty in the helicopter system.Furthermore,an event-triggering mechanism(ETM)with a switching threshold is proposed to alleviate the communication burden on the system.By proposing an adaptive parameter,a bounded estimation, and a smooth function approach, the effect of network measurement errors is effectively compensated for while simultaneously avoiding the Zeno phenomenon.Additionally, the developed adaptive finite-time control technique based on an NN guarantees finitetime convergence of the tracking error, thus enhancing the control accuracy of the system. In addition, the Lyapunov direct method demonstrates that the closed-loop system is semiglobally finite-time stable. Finally, simulation and experimental results show the effectiveness of the control strategy. | Zhijia Zhao Jian Zhang Shouyan Chen Wei He Keum-Shik Hong | 2023 | IEEE/CAA Journal of Automatica Sinica2023,10,8: | 0

Modulating the p-band center of carbon nanofibers derived from Co spin state as anode for high-power sodium storage显示文摘Carbon nanofibers(CNFs)have received extensive and in-depth studied as anodes for sodium-ion batteries(SIBs),and yet their initial Coulombic efficiency and rate capability remain enormous challenge at practical level.Herein,CNFs anchored with cobalt nanocluster(CNFs-Co)were prepared using chemical vapor deposition and thermal reduction methods. The as-prepared CNFs-Co shows a high initial Coulombic efficiency of 91%and a high specific discharge capacity of 246 mAh/g at 0.1 A/g after 200 cycles as anode for SIBs.Meanwhile, the CNFs-Co anode still delivers a high cycling stability with 108 mAh/g after 1000 cycles at 10 A/g.These excellent electrochemical properties could be attributed to the involved spin state Co,which endows CNFs with large interplanar spacing(0.39 nm)and abundant vacancy defects.Importantly, the spin state Co downshifts the p-band center of carbon and strengthens the Na+adsorption energy from-2.33 eV to-2.64 eV based on density functional theory calculation. This novel strategy of modulating the carbon electronic structure by the spin state of magnetic metals provides a reference for the development of high-performance carbon-based anode materials. | Zhijia Zhang Yuwen Zhao Yanhao Wei Mengmeng Zhang Chunsheng Li Yan Sun Jianmin Ma Yong Jiang | 2024 | Chinese Chemical Letters2024,35,1: | 0
Effects of charging rates on LiNi_(0.6)Mn_(0.2)Co_(0.2)O_(2)(NMC622)/graphite Li-ion cells显示文摘Enabling fast charging capability of lithium-ion battery is of great importance to widespread adoption of electric vehicles.Increasing the charging rates from state-of-the-art 2 C(30 min)to 6 C(10 min)requires deep understanding on the cell aging mechanism. In this study,400 mAh pouch cells are cycled at 1 C,4 C and 6 C charging rates with 1 C discharging rate.Capacity fading, cathode structural changes,Li inventory loss, electrolyte composition changes and Li plating on graphite electrodes are thoroughly studied by various characterization techniques. The rapid capacity fading in cells at 6 C charging rate is mainly due to Li inventory loss from cathode structure and metallic Li plating on graphite electrode at higher charging rate.Post-mortem analysis also revealed changes in electrolyte such as increased salt molarity and transesterification during fast charging. | Xianyang Wu Yaocai Bai Zhenglong Li Jue Liu Kejie Zhao Zhijia Du | 2021 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,5: | 0
