On the Kinematic Characteristics and Dynamic Process of Boundary faults of the Nansha Ultra-crust Layer-Block显示文摘The Nansha ultra-crust layer-block is confined by ultra-crustal boundary faults of distinctive features, bordering the Kangtai-Shuangzi-Xiongnan extensional faulted zone on the north, the Baxian-Baram-Yoca-Cuyo nappe faulted zone on the south, the Wan’an-Natuna strike-slip tensional faulted zone on the west and the Mondoro-Panay strike-slip compressive faulted zone on the east. These faults take the top of the Nansha asthenosphere as their common detachmental surface. The Cenozoic dynamic process of the ultra-crust layer-block can be divided into four stages: K2-E21, during which the northern boundary faults extended, this ultra-crust layer-block was separated from the South China-Indosinian continental margin, the Palaeo-South China Sea subducted southwards and the Sibu accretion wedge was formed; E22-E31, during which the Southwest sub-sea basin extended and orogeny was active due to the collision of the Sibu accretion wedge; E32-N11, during which the central sub-sea basin extended, the MiriLIU Hailing SUN Yan GUO Lingzhi SHU Liangshu YANG Shukang ZHOU Di ZHANG Yixiang 1999Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)1999,73,4:9
Nonlinear Bayesian Estimation: From Kalman Filtering to a Broader Horizon显示文摘This article presents an up-to-date tutorial review of nonlinear Bayesian estimation. State estimation for nonlinear systems has been a challenge encountered in a wide range of engineering fields, attracting decades of research effort. To date, one of the most promising and popular approaches is to view and address the problem from a Bayesian probabilistic perspective, which enables estimation of the unknown state variables by tracking their probabilistic distribution or statistics(e.g., mean and covariance) conditioned on a system's measurement data. This article offers a systematic introduction to the Bayesian state estimation framework and reviews various Kalman filtering(KF)techniques, progressively from the standard KF for linear systems to extended KF, unscented KF and ensemble KF for nonlinear systems. It also overviews other prominent or emerging Bayesian estimation methods including Gaussian filtering, Gaussian-sum filtering, particle filtering and moving horizon estimation and extends the discussion of state estimation to more complicated problems such as simultaneous state and parameter/input estimation.Huazhen Fang Ning Tian Yebin Wang Meng Chu Zhou Mulugeta A. 5The study on the mechanical properties of PU/MF double shell self-healing microcapsules显示文摘The self-healing microcapsules can be buried in the coating to improve the anticorrosive ability. In this paper,self-healing microcapsules of polyurea(PU)/melamine resin(MF)double shell were prepared by in-situ polymerization and interfacial polymerization with isocyanate as the core material.Scanning electron microscope was used to observe the microcapsule morphology. The structures of microcapsules prepared with different chain extenders were characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. The micromanipulation system was used to loading–holding, loading–unloading and loading to rupture individual microcapsules,so as to explore the mechanical properties of microcapsules. The Young’s modulus corresponding to microcapsules was calculated by mathematical model fitting. The self-healing properties of microcapsule coating were characterized by optical microscope. The experimental results showed that the microcapsule shell prepared under optimized conditions had a complete morphology and good mechanical properties. The microcapsule was in the elastic deformation stage under small deformation, and the plastic deformation stage under large deformation. The Young’s modulus range of microcapsules was 9.29–14.51 MPa,and the corresponding Young’s modulus could be prepared by adjusting the process. The surface crack of the coating containing microcapsule could heal itself after48 h in a humid environment.Guohao Du Jianfeng Hu Jianhui Zhou Guangwu Wang Shengli Guan Hailing Liu Man Geng Chuang Lv Yaoqiang Ming Jinqing Qu 2020Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2020,28,5:4
Comparison of measurements and simulation results in 300mm CZ silicon crystal growth显示文摘A special thermal modeling tool, CrysVUn, which was developed by Crystal Growth Laboratory (CGL) of Fraunhofer Institute of Integrated Systems and Devices Technology in Erlangen of Germany, was used for numerical analysis of growth interface situation. The heat transportation, argon flow and melt convection have been considered. Cauchy's first and second laws of motion have been the governing partial equations for stress calculation. The measurement results and simulation results were compared and the interface shape and thermal stress distribution during 300 mm Czochralski (CZ) silicon crystal growth with different growth rates were predicted.GAO Yu TU Hailing ZHOU Qigang DAI Xiaolin XIAO Qinghua 2007Rare Metals2007,26,6:3
Effect of thermal shield and gas flow on thermal elastic stresses in 300mm silicon crystal显示文摘The thermal elastic stresses induced in 300 mm Si crystal may be great troubles because it can incur the generation of dislocations and undesirable excessive residual stresses. A special thermal modeling tool, CrysVUn, was used for numerical analysis of thermal elastic stresses and stress distribution of 300 mm Si crystal under the consideration of different thermal shields and gas flow conditions. The adopted governing partial equations for stress calculation are Cauchy′s first and second laws of motion. It is demonstrated that the presence and shape of thermal shield, the gas pressure and velocity can strongly affect von Mises stress distribution in Si crystal. With steep-wall shield, however, the maximal stress and ratio of high stress area are relatively low. With slope-wall shield or without shield, both maximal stress and ratio of high stress area are increased in evidence. Whether thermal shields are used or not, the increase of gas flow velocity could raise the stress level. In contrast, the increase of gas pressure cannot result in so significant effect. The influence of thermal shield and gas flow should be attributed to the modification of heat conduction and heat radiation by them.GAO Yu XIAO Qinghua ZHOU Qigang DAI Xiaolin TU Hailing 2006Rare Metals2006,25,z2:2
Symbolic algorithmic verification of intransitive generalized noninterference显示文摘Generalized noninterference can be used to formulate transitive security policies, but is unsuitable for intransitive security policies. We propose a new information flow security property, which we call intransitive generalized noninterference, that enables intransitive security policies to be specified formally.Next,we propose an algorithmic verification technique to check intransitive generalized noninterference. Our technique is based on the search for counterexamples and on the window induction proof, and can be used to verify generalized noninterference. We further demonstrate that the search of counterexamples and induction proof can be reduced to quantified Boolean satisfiability. This reduction enables us to use efficient quantified Boolean decision procedures to perform the check of intransitive generalized noninterference. It also reduces spatial requirement by representing the space compactly, and improves the efficiency of the verification procedure.ZHOU CongHua LIU ZhiFeng WU HaiLing CHEN Song JU ShiGuang 2012Science China(Information Sciences)2012,55,7:2
Mycorrhizas Affect Polyphyllin Accumulation of Paris polyphylla var.yunnanensis through Promoting PpSE Expression显示文摘Paris polyphylla var.yunnanensis is a traditional Chinese medicinal plant,in which polyphyllin as the main medicinal component is an important secondary metabolite with bioactivity.Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi(AMF)have multiple positive effects on plants, while it is not clear whether AMF increase the content of medicinal components in medicinal plants. In this study,a total of nine AMF treatments were laid to analyze the mycorrhizal effect on polyphyllin accumulation and PpHMGR and PpSE expression of P.polyphylla var.yunnanensis.AMF increased the content of polyphyllin in the cultivated variety with low relation to the increase of inoculation intensity.Polyphyllin I,II,and VII were identified and partly improved by AMF inoculation, dependent on AMF treatments and culture environments.Similarly, the PpHMGR and PpSE expression was induced by mycorrhization, dependent on AMF species, whilst the induction was more obvious in PpSE than in PpHMGR after mycorrhization. It concluded that the symbiotic relationship between P.polyphylla var.yunnanensis and AMF increased polyphyllin content level in the plant, which was associated with the up-regulation of PpSE transcripts.Hailing Li Lingfeng Xu Zhuowei Li Shunxin Zhao Dongqin Guo Lu Rui Nong Zhou 2021Phyton-International Journal of Experimental Botany2021,90,5:2
U-Pb Isotope Geochronology of Syntectonic Granites from Hainan Island,South China:Constraints on Tectonic Evolution of the Eastern Paleo-Tethys Ocean显示文摘Since the recognition of the Indosinian orogeny in northern Vietnam,Triassic orogens have been widely identified around the western and southwestern boundaries of the South China block. The paleo-Tethys sutures stretch from west to southeast, from Jinshajiang-Ailaoshan via NE Vietnam to Hainan Island;these sutures exhibit and develop voluminous Permian-early Triassic magmatism and numerous high-strain shear zones. As ophiolites related to the paleo-Tethys are lacking on Hainan Island, the eastward extension of the Indosinian orogeny and subduction and closure time of the paleo-Tethys Ocean on Hainan Island remain controversial. Here,an integrated kinematic and geochronological study has been conducted on two shear zones, called the Xiaomei and Mangsan shear zones.U-Pb zircon dating yields an age of early Triassic(252-251 Myr)for Xiaomei syntectonic granites which formed in the same tectonic setting and presented the similar nanoparticles to the Indosinian granites from Ailaoshan ductile shear zone, including the strawberry-like and flower-like nanoparticles. The NE-trending Mangsan shear zone represented by the gneissic granites with middle Permian ages(264-262 Myr)formed in the same tectonic setting as the Wuzhi-shan granites that were proposed as I-type granites. These middle Permian gneissic granites with arc affinity may represent an arc setting related to the NW subduction of the paleo-Tethys.The analyses reveal that granites with late Triassic ages(235-232 Myr)in the Xiaomei shear zone have the characteristics of A-type granites. The late Triassic extensional events on Hainan Island may be related to the subduction of the paleo-Pacific Plate beneath the East Asian continent.ZHOU Yang YAN Yi LIU Hailing CAI Jianxin ZHOU Mengfei ZHANG Xinchang WANG Yin SHEN Baoyun 2020Journal of Ocean University of China2020,19,6:1

Mild Cytokine Elevation, Moderate CD4^+ T Cell Response and Abundant Antibody Production in Children with COVID-19显示文摘Children with Coronavirus Disease 2019(COVID-19) were reported to show milder symptoms and better prognosis than their adult counterparts, but the difference of immune response against SARS-CoV-2 between children and adults hasn’t been reported. Therefore we initiated this study to figure out the features of immune response in children with COVID-19.Sera and whole blood cells from 19 children with COVID-19 during different phases after disease onset were collected. The cytokine concentrations, SARS-CoV-2 S-RBD or N-specific antibodies and T cell immune responses were detected respectively. In children with COVID-19, only 3 of 12 cytokines were increased in acute sera, including interferon(IFN)-cinduced protein 10(IP10), interleukin(IL)-10 and IL-16. We observed an increase in T helper(Th)-2 cells and a suppression in regulatory T cells(Treg) in patients during acute phase, but no significant response was found in the IFN-cproducing or tumor necrosis factor(TNF)-a-producing CD8?T cells in patients. S-RBD and N IgM showed an early induction, while S-RBD and N IgG were prominently induced later in convalescent phase. Potent S-RBD IgA response was observed but N IgA seemed to be inconspicuous. Children with COVID-19 displayed an immunophenotype that is less inflammatory than adults, including unremarkable cytokine elevation, moderate CD4?T cell response and inactive CD8?T cell response, but their humoral immunity against SARS-CoV-2 were as strong as adults. Our finding presented immunological characteristics of children with COVID-19 and might give some clues as to why children develop less severe disease than adults.Ran Jia Xiangshi Wang Pengcheng Liu Xiaozhen Liang Yanling Ge He Tian Hailing Chang Hao Zhou Mei Zeng Jin Xu 2020Virologica Sinica2020,35,6:1

Disrupted tenogenesis in masseter as a potential cause of micrognathia显示文摘Micrognathia is a severe craniofacial deformity affecting appearance and survival. Previous studies revealed that multiple factors involved in the osteogenesis of mandibular bone have contributed to micrognathia, but concerned little on factors other than osteogenesis. In the current study, we found that ectopic activation of Fgf8 by Osr2-cre in the presumptive mesenchyme for masseter tendon in mice led to micrognathia, masseter regression, and the disrupted patterning and differentiation of masseter tendon. Since Myf5-cre;Rosa26R-Fgf8 mice exhibited the normal masseter and mandibular bone, the possibility that the micrognathia and masseter regression resulted directly from the over-expressed Fgf8 was excluded. Further investigation disclosed that a series of chondrogenic markers were ectopically activated in the developing Osr2-cre;Rosa26R-Fgf8 masseter tendon, while the mechanical sensing in the masseter and mandibular bone was obviously reduced. Thus, it suggested that the micrognathia in Osr2-cre;Rosa26R-Fgf8 mice resulted secondarily from the reduced mechanical force transmitted to mandibular bone. Consistently, when tenogenic or myogenic components were deleted from the developing mandibles, both the micrognathia and masseter degeneration took place with the decreased mechanical sensing in mandibular bone, which verified that the loss of mechanical force transmitted by masseter tendon could result in micrognathia. Furthermore, it appeared that the micrognathia resulting from the disrupted tenogenesis was attributed to the impaired osteogenic specification, instead of the differentiation in the periosteal progenitors. Our findings disclose a novel mechanism for mandibular morphogenesis, and shed light on the prevention and treatment for micrognathia.Chao Liu Nan Zhou Nan Li Tian Xu Xiaoyan Chen Hailing Zhou Ailun Xie Han Liu Lei Zhu Songlin Wang Jing Xiao 2022International Journal of Oral Science2022,14,4:1
