2Self-generating nanogaps for highly effective surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy显示文摘The fabrication of surface enhanced Raman spectroscopy(SERS)substrates with controlled high density hot spots still remains challenging.Herein,we report highly effective SERS substrates containing the self-generating(SG)nanogaps from polystyrene nanosphere monolayer through isotropic plasma etching.The emergence of multimode hot spots,i.e.,metal film over nanosphere(MFON)-like hot spots(closed gaps,0 nm),individual self-aligned hot spots(discrete gaps,>20 nm)and threedimensional(3D)hot spots(nanogaps,1-10 nm),makes the SG SERS substrates superior as compared to the traditional MFON or the well-ordered self-aligned SERS substrates in terms of enhancement,uniformity,and reproducibility.The SG SERS substrates can function as the excellent SERS platforms for trace molecule detection in the practical application fields.Yangkai Chen Huan Li Jianmei Chen Dong Li Mengyuan Zhang Guanghua Yu Lin Jiang Yi Zong Bin Dong Zhoufang Zeng Yandong Wang Lifeng Chi 2022Nano Research2022,15,4:1

6Influence of SAM Quality on the Organic Semiconductor Thin Film Gas Sensors显示文摘Gas sensors based on organic semiconductors receive tremendous attentions owing to their advantages on high selectivity and room temperature operation. However, until now, most organic semiconductor based sensors still suffered from problems, such as low sensitivity, slow response/recovery speed and poor stability. In addition, a clear correlation between the sensing performance and the film property is still absent. Herein, we report the investigation on sensing performance of a series of organic films with various morphologies. By simply adjusting the quality of self-assembled monolayer(SAM) on the silicon wafer surface, we obtain organic semiconductor 6,13-bis(triisopropylsilylethynyl)pentacene (TIPS-pentacene) films with varied morphologies and different charge transport abilities. The film with a small grain size and a continuous morphology presents the highest sensing performance to NO2, with a sensitivity up to 730%/ppm(ppm=parts per million, vo-lume ratio). 7Laparoscopic sigmoid vaginoplasty in women withMayer-Rokitansky-Kuster-Hauser syndrome显示文摘The feasibility and clinical therapeutic effects of laparoscopic sigmoid vaginoplasty in women with Mayer-Rokitansky-Kuster-Hauser syndrome(MRKHs)were explored.The records of 11 MRKHs patients who underwent laparoscopic sigmoid vaginoplasty from 2003 to 2005 were reviewed,and long-term results were evaluated by follow-up.The mean operating time was 234 min(range,130–300 min),the mean hospital stay was 9.4 days(range,7–15 days),and the mean hemoglobin drop was 1.91 g/dL(range,1.6–3.2 g/dL).A functional neovagina was created measuring 11 to 14 cm in length and twofingers in breadth in all patients.No introitus stenosis was observed.No intra-operative or postoperative bowel complication occurred.At the 3rd postoperative month,thefirst intercourse began.One patient was lost to follow-up.One had no intercourse and was required to wear vaginal mold occasionally.None of the other nine women(100%)complained of local irritation or dyspar-eunia.They were satisfied with their sexual life.The cosmetic results were excellent.The laparoscopic sigmoid vaginoplasty realizes to make a functional neovagina.The main advantage is its minimal invasiveness.It is an ideal procedure for MRKHs patients.Yi SHEN Guobin WANG Zhoufang XIONG Kaixiong TAO Zehua WANG 2009Frontiers of Medicine2009,3,3:0
8Long noncoding RNA GAS5 attenuates cigarette smoke-induced airway remodeling by regulating miR-217-5p/PTEN axis显示文摘Airway remodeling is a remarkable pathological characteristic of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD),and long noncoding RNAs have been demonstrated to participate in COPD development and pathogenesis.Here,we investigate the role of long noncoding RNA GAS5 in cigarette smoke(CS)-induced airway remodeling.GAS5 expression is significantly lower in lung tissues of CS-exposed mice than in tissues of control mice without exposure to CS.Forced GAS5 overexpression suppresses CS-induced airway inflammation and remodeling.GAS5 overexpression also inhibits CS extract-induced inflammatory-cytokine expression and fibroblast activation in vitro.Regarding the mechanism,GAS5 acts as a sponge of miR-217-5p,thereby increasing PTEN expression.MiR-217-5p overexpression and PTEN knockdown separately reverse the inhibitory effects of GAS5 overexpression on the inflammatory-cytokine expression and fibroblast activation.Collectively,these results suggest that GAS5 can suppress airway inflammation and fibroblast activation by regulating miR-217-5p/PTEN axis,which may help develop novel therapeutic strategies against COPD.Yong Du Yi Ding Tianyun Shi Wei He Jingjing Feng Zhoufang Mei Xuru Chen Xintong Feng Xiaohua Zhang Zhijun Jie 2022Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2022,54,7:0
9T Cell Repertoire Diversity Is Decreased in Type 1 Diabetes Patients显示文摘Type 1 diabetes mellitus(T1D) is an immune-mediated disease. The autoreactive T cells in T1D patients attack and destroy their own pancreatic cells. In order to systematically investigate the potential autoreactive T cell receptors(TCRs), we used a high-throughput immune repertoire sequencing technique to profile the spectrum of TCRs in individual T1D patients and controls.We sequenced the T cell repertoire of nine T1D patients, four type 2 diabetes(T2D) patients,and six nondiabetic controls. The diversity of the T cell repertoire in T1D patients was significantly decreased in comparison with T2 D patients(P = 7.0E 08 for CD4^+T cells, P = 1.4E 04 for CD8^+T cells) and nondiabetic controls(P = 2.7E 09 for CD4^+T cells, P = 7.6E 06 for CD8^+T cells). Moreover, T1D patients had significantly more highly-expanded T cell clones than T2D patients(P = 5.2E 06 for CD4+T cells, P = 1.9E 07 for CD8^+T cells) and nondiabetic controls(P = 1.7E 07 for CD4^+T cells, P = 3.3E 03 for CD8^+T cells). Furthermore, we identified a group of highly-expanded T cell receptor clones that are shared by more than two T1D patients.
