1An Effective RAID Data Layout for Object-Based De-duplication Backup System显示文摘We propose an alternative Redundant array of independent disks(RAID) data layout, Asymmetrical grouping data organization(AGDO), for object-based data de-duplication backup system. Object-based data deduplication is an effective solution for detecting duplicate data for compound files. We designed an asymmetrical grouping strategy, the disk in the array are partitioned into different groups, and in each group parallelism data access scheme is adopted, different types of objects are stored in different groups with maybe different group size, it can set and manage dynamic group size by using dynamic disk group adjustment algorithms. The performance of AGDO is evaluated and proved to be sufficient for the continuous storage application. The result is that disk accesses are concentrated in a part of the disks over a long time period and reduces the power consumption to 25% in a 10-disk configuration. Moreover, object-based de-duplication combined with AGDO has great potential in increasing data restoration speed for compound files. 2A Hybrid Compression Framework for Large Scale Trajectory Data in Road Networks显示文摘A Hybrid compression framework of trajectory data(HCFT) is proposed for effective compression of tra jectory data with road network limited. It's different from the present researches which mainly focus on compression of single tra jectory, and further takes data redundancy raised by the similarity of movement pattern of moving objects into consideration. HCFT divides the redundancy of tra jectory data into Single tra jectory redundancy(STR) and Multiple tra jectories redundancy(MTR) and compresses them in a hybrid way(i.e. synchronous compression for STR at first and then asynchronous compression for MTR). We propose an asynchronous extraction algorithm for MTR based on frequent Road track subsequence(RTS), which replaces similar movement route by RTS, with the complexity of calculation significantly reduced. HCFT can not only gain higher compression ratio,but also ensure effectiveness of compressed tra jectory. 4Stretchable, self‐healable, and breathable biomimetic iontronics with superior humidity‐sensing performance for wireless respiration monitoring显示文摘Stretchable,self‐healing,and breathable skin‐biomimetic‐sensing iontronics play an important role in human physiological signal monitoring and human–computer interaction.However,previous studies have focused on the mimicking of skin tactile sensing(pressure,strain,and temperature),and the development of more functionalities is necessary.To this end,a superior humidity‐sensitive ionic skin is developed based on a self‐healing,stretchable,breathable,and biocompatible polyvinyl alcohol–cellulose nanofibers organohydrogel film,showing a pronounced thickness‐dependent humidity‐sensing performance.The as‐prepared 62.47‐μm‐thick organohydrogel film exhibits a high response(25,000%)to 98%RH,excellent repeatability,and long‐term stability(120 days).Moreover,this ionic skin has excellent resistance to large mechanical deformation and damage,and the worn‐out material can still retain its humidity‐sensing capabilities after self‐repair.Humidity‐sensing mechanism studies show that the induced response is mainly related to the increase of proton mobility and interfacial charge transport efficiency after water adsorption.The superior humidity responsiveness is attributed to the reduced thickness and the increased specific surface area of the organohydrogel film,allowing real‐time recording of physiological signals.Notably,by combining with a self‐designed printed circuit board,a continuous and wireless respiration monitoring system is developed,presenting its great potential in wearable and biomedical electronics.Qiongling Ding Hao Wang Zijing Zhou Zixuan Wu Kai Tao Xuchun Gui Chuan Liu Wenxiong Shi Jin Wu 2023SmartMat2023,4,2:2

6Relationship between Renying pulse augmentation index and Cunkou pulse condition in different blood pressure groups显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To explore the relationship between Renying pulse (carotid) augmentation index (AI) and Cunkou pulse condition in different blood pressure groups, and the clinical significance of Renying and Cunkou pulse parameters to reflect vascular function.METHODS:Eighty-sixpatients with essential hypertension (EH) and 52 individuals with normal blood pressure(control group) between September 2010 and January 2012 were included in thisstudy.Renying pulse AI was examined by a new diagnostic tool(ALOKA ProSound Alpha 10) — wave intensity (WI) that is calculated as the product of the derivatives of the simultaneously recorded blood pressure changes(dP/dt) and blood-flow-velocity changes(dU/dt), while Cunkou pulse condition was detected by DDMX-100 Pulse Apparatus inboth EH and control groups. A multifactorial correlation analysis was performed for data analysis.RESULTS: After adjustingfor potentialconfoundingvariables,intheEHgroup,AIwaspositivelycorrelated with t5, w2/t(rt5=0.225, P<0.05; rw2/t=0.230, P<0.05)and negatively correlated with h5,h5/h1 and w2(rh5=﹣0.393,P<0.01;rh5/h1=﹣0.444,P<0.01;rw2=﹣0.389,P<0.01). In the control group, AI was positively correlated with t3, t4, t5 and w1(rt3=0.595, P<0.01; rt4=0.292, P<0.05; rt5=0.318, P<0.05; rw1=0.541, P<0.01)and negatively correlated with h1,h2,h3,AdandA(rh1=﹣0.368,P<0.05;rh2=﹣0.330,P<0.05;rh3=﹣0.327, P<0.05; rAd=﹣0.322, P<0.05; rA=﹣0.410, P<0.01). In the total sample group(EH plus control group, n=138), AI was positively correlated with t, t5, w1 and w2/t(rt=0.257,P<0.01;rt5=0.266,P<0.01;rw1=0.184,P<0.05; rw2/t=0.210, P<0.05) and negatively correlated with h5, h5/h1, w2 and Ad(rh5=﹣0.230, P<0.01; rh5/h1=﹣0.218, P<0.05; rw2=﹣0.267, P<0.01; rAd=﹣0.246,P<0.01). Multiple linear regression analysis was carried out to model the relationship(F=7.887, P<0.001).CONCLUSION:Renying pulse AI can effectively predict arterial stiffness in synchrony with the manifestations of Cunkou pulse in elderly patients with hypertension. Cunkou pulse apparatus is a valuable tool for evaluating AI in clinical practice. 7Gravitational wave astronomy: the current status显示文摘In the centenary year of Einstein's General Theory of Relativity, this paper reviews the current status of gravitational wave astronomy across a spectrum which stretches from attohertz to kilohertz frequencies. Sect. 1 of this paper reviews the historical development of gravitational wave astronomy from Einstein's first prediction to our current understanding the spectrum. It is shown that detection of signals in the audio frequency spectrum can be expected very soon, and that a north-south pair of next generation detectors would provide large scientific benefits. Sect. 2 reviews the theory of gravitational waves and the principles of detection using laser interferometry. The state of the art Advanced LIGO detectors are then described. These detectors have a high chance of detecting the first events in the near future. Sect. 3 reviews the KAGRA detector currently under development in Japan,which will be the first laser interferometer detector to use cryogenic test masses. Sect. 4 of this paper reviews gravitational wave detection in the nanohertz frequency band using the technique of pulsar timing. Sect. 5 reviews the status of gravitational wave detection in the attohertz frequency band, detectable in the polarisation of the cosmic microwave background, and discusses the prospects for detection of primordial waves from the big bang. The techniques described in sects. 1–5 have already placed significant limits on the strength of gravitational wave sources. Sects. 6 and 7 review ambitious plans for future space based gravitational wave detectors in the millihertz frequency band. 10The repression of oncoprotein SET by the tumor suppressor p53 reveals a p53-SET-PP2A feedback loop for cancer therapy显示文摘The oncoprotein SET is frequently overexpressed in many types of tumors and contributes to malignant initiation and progression through multiple mechanisms,including the hijacking of the tumor suppressors p53 and PP2A.Targeting aberrant SET represents a promising strategy for cancer intervention.However,the mechanism by which endogenous SET is regulated in cancer cells remains largely unknown.Here,we identified the tumor suppressor p53 as a key regulator that transcriptionally repressed the expression of SET in both normal and cancer cells.In addition,p53 stimulated PP2A phosphatase activity via p53-mediated transcriptional repression of SET,whereby SET-mediated inhibition of PP2A was alleviated.Moreover,targeting the interaction between SET and PP2A catalytic subunit(PP2Ac)with FTY720 enhanced stress-induced p53 activation via PP2A-mediated dephosphorylation of p53 on threonine 55(Thr55).Therefore,our findings uncovered a previously unknown p53-SETPP2A regulatory feedback loop.To functionally potentiate this feedback loop,we designed a combined therapeutic strategy by simultaneously administrating a p53 activator and SET antagonist in cancer cells and observed a dramatic synergistic effect on tumor suppression.Our study reveals mechanistic insight into the regulation of the oncoprotein SET and raises a potential strategy for cancer therapy by stimulating the p53-SET-PP2A feedback loop.Han Yao Wenbin Xu Yajing Liu Zhijie Cao Jia Wen Mi Zhang Zhen Wu Xiaojun Yan Zishan Jiao Zijing Zhang Jianyuan Chen Meng Zhang Wei-Guo Zhu Donglai Wang 2023Science China(Life Sciences)2023,66,1:0

12Multimedia distribution and health risk assessment of typical organic pollutants in a retired industrial park显示文摘The overall cross-media risk evaluation of organic pollutants in retired industrial parks is insufficiently recognized.In this study,11 semi-volatile organic compounds(SVOCs)and 27 volatile organic compounds(VOCs)were measured in 531 soil and groundwater samples taken from a retired industrial park by coast in Zhejiang Province,China.Total petroleum hydrocarbons(TPHs),Di(2-ethylhexyl)phthalate(DEHP),benzene,and ethylbenzene were identified as the critical pollutants in the soil,while TPHs,1,2-dichloropropane(1,2-DCP),toluene,benzo[a]anthracene(BaA),and benzo[b]fluoranthene(BbF)were identified as critical pollutants in the groundwater for exceeding China national standards.The spatial correlation between the concentrations of organic pollutants in soil and groundwater was explored by employing the Geodetector model.Based on the results of spatial interpolation,high-risk hotspots regarding soil and groundwater pollution were identified.Moreover,the possible harm to human health of the critical pollutants were also under evaluation.Among various critical pollutants,benzene,ethylbenzene,and DEHP in soil,and 1,2-DCP in groundwater,were the main contributors to the overall health risk of multimedia pollution.This study developed a comprehensive approach to assess the risks posed by specific organic toxicants in various environmental media.The findings of this work can serve as a valuable reference for future management strategies in retired industrial parks.Shijin Wu Zijing Xiang Daohui Lin Lizhong Zhu 2023Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2023,17,11:0
13Self-healable, recyclable, ultrastretchable, and high-performanceNO_(2) sensors based on an organohydrogel for room and sub-zero temperature and wireless operation显示文摘To date,development of high-performance,stretchable gas sensors operating at and below room temperature(RT)remains a challenge in terms of traditional sensing materials.Herein,we report on a high-performance NO_(2) gas sensor based on a self-healable,recyclable,ultrastretchable,and stable polyvinyl alcohol–cellulose nanofibril double-network organohydrogel,which features ultrahigh sensitivity(372%/ppm),low limit of detection(2.23 ppb),relatively fast response and recovery time(41/144 s for 250 ppb NO_(2)),good selectivity against interfering gases(NH3,CO_(2),ethanol,and acetone),excellent reversibility,repeatability,and long-term stability at RT or even at−20°C.In particular,this sensor shows outstanding stability against large deformations and mechanical damages so that it works normally after rapid self-healing or remolding after undergoing mechanical damage without significant performance degradation,which has major advantages compared to state-of-the-art gas sensors.The high NO_(2) sensitivity and selectivity are attributed to the selective redox reactions at the threephase interface of gas,gel,and electrode,which is even boosted by applying tensile strain.With a specific electrical circuit design,a wireless NO_(2) alarm system based on this sensor is created to enable continuous,real-time,and wireless NO_(2) detection to avoid the risk of exposure to NO_(2) higher than threshold concentrations.Qiongling Ding Zijing Zhou Hao Wang Zixuan Wu Kai Tao Bo-Ru Yang Xi Xie Jun Fu Jin Wu 2023SmartMat2023,4,1:0
14Reconfiguring perovskite interface via R4NBr addition reaction toward efficient and stable FAPbI3-based solar cells显示文摘Defect states in perovskite films restrict the interfacial stability and open-circuit voltage of perovskite solar cells.Here,aiming at superior interfacial passivation,we investigate the reconfiguration of perovskite interface by the interaction between a series of quaternary ammonium bromides(QAB)and lead—halide(Pb—X)octahedrons.Bromide—iodide substitution reaction or R4NBr addition reaction may occur on the perovskite surface,which is related to the steric hindrance of quaternary ammonium cations.On this basis,the perovskite surface morphology,band structure,growth orientation and defect states are reconstructed via the R4NBr addition reaction.This ordered lead—halide adduct could effectively repair the imperfect perovskite/hole transportation layer interface to suppress non-radiative recombination and ion migration toward ultralong carrier lifetime surpassing 10µs.The resulting perovskite solar cells yield the efficiency of 23.89%with steady-state efficiency of 23.70%.The passivated cells can sustain 86%of initial efficiency after 200-h operation,which is attributed to the passivation effect and hydrophobic characteristics.This work provides an avenue for reconfiguring perovskite surface by QABs.Hongshi Li Zhenghao Liu Zijing Chen Shan Tan Wenyan Zhao Yiming Li Jiangjian Shi Huijue Wu Yanhong Luo Dongmei Li Qingbo Meng 2022Science China Chemistry2022,65,6:0

16Vitamin D receptor (VDR) mediates the quiescence of activated hepatic stellate cells (aHSCs) by regulating M2 macrophage exosomal smooth muscle cell-associated protein 5 (SMAP-5)显示文摘An effective therapeutic regimen for hepatic fibrosis requires a deep understanding of the pathogenesis mechanism.Hepatic fibrosis is characterized by activated hepatic stellate cells(aHSCs)with an excessive production of extracellular matrix.Although promoted activation of HSCs by M2 macrophages has been demonstrated,the molecular mechanism involved remains ambiguous.Herein,we propose that the vitamin D receptor(VDR)involved in macrophage polarization may regulate the communication between macrophages and HSCs by changing the functions of exosomes.We confirm that activating the VDR can inhibit the effect of M2 macrophages on HSC activation.The exosomes derived from M2 macrophages can promote HSC activation,while stimulating VDR alters the protein profiles and reverses their roles in M2 macrophage exosomes.Smooth muscle cell-associated protein 5(SMAP-5)was found to be the key effector protein in promoting HSC activation by regulating autophagy flux.Building on these results,we show that a combined treatment of a VDR agonist and a macrophage-targeted exosomal secretion inhibitor achieves an excellent anti-hepatic fibrosis effect.In this study,we aim to elucidate the association between VDR and macrophages in HSC activation.The results contribute to our understanding of the pathogenesis mechanism of hepatic fibrosis,and provide potential therapeutic targets for its treatment.Xuwentai LIU Yue WU Yanyi LI Kaiming LI Siyuan HOU Ming DING Jingmin TAN Zijing ZHU Yingqi TANG Yuming LIU Qianhui SUN Cong WANG Can ZHANG 2023Journal of Zhejiang University-Science B(Biomedicine & Biotechnology)2023,24,3:0
