1Large-scale blow spinning of heat-resistant nanofibrous air filters显示文摘Particulate matter(PM)pollution has become a serious problem worldwide and various kinds of nanofibrous filters aiming to solve the problem have been developed.It is urgent to remove PM from high-temperature pollution sources,such as industrial emissions,coal furnaces,and automobile exhaust gases.However,filtration at pollution sources remains challenging because most existing air filters are not resistant to high temperature.Herein,heat-resistant polyimide(PI)nanofibrous air filters are fabricated via a simple and scalable solution blow-spinning method.These air filters show excellent thermal stability at high temperature up to 420℃.They exhibit a filtration efficiency as high as 99.73%at ambient temperature and over 97%at 300℃.In addition,a field test shows that the filters remove>97%of PM from the car exhaust fumes.Hence,the blow-spun PI nanofibrous membranes combined with the facile preparation strategy have great potential in high temperature air filtration fields and other similar applications such as water purification and protein separation.Ziwei Li Jianan Song Yuanzheng Long Chao Jia Zhenglian Liu Lei Li Cheng Yang Junchen Liu Sen Lin Haiyang Wang Yibo Liu Minghao Fang Hui Wu 2020Nano Research2020,13,3:6
2Temperature dependent Raman and photoluminescence of vertical WS2/MoS2 monolayer heterostructures显示文摘Heterostructures from two-dimensional transition-metal dichalcogenides MX_2 have emerged as a hot topic in recent years due to their various fascinating properties. Here, we investigated the temperature dependent Raman and photoluminescence(PL) spectra in vertical stacked WS_2/MoS_2 monolayer heterostructures. Our result shows that both E_(2g)~1 and A_(1g) modes of WS_2 and MoS_2 vary linearly with temperature increasing from 300 to 642 K. The PL measurement also reveals strong temperature dependencies of the PL intensity and peak position. The activation energy of the thermal quenching of the PL emission has been found to be equal to 69.6 meV. 3Determination of dioxin-like polychlorinated biphenyls in soil and moss from Fildes Peninsula,Antarctica显示文摘Dioxin-like polychlorinated biphenyls(PCBs) are a class of toxic and persistent chemicals that are often found in the environment.The determination of dioxin-like PCBs in Fildes Peninsula,Antarctica,is reported in this paper.Dioxin-like PCBs were widely distributed in Antarctic soil and moss with concentration of 2.23-27.2 pg/g in soil and 10.4-812 pg/g in moss.The highest concentrations were found in the Ardley Island area and the lowest concentrations on the west coast.The contribution of PCB-118 to the ∑12PCBs ranged from 36.0% to 69.6% in soil,and 17.2% to 43.4% in moss.The congener specific patterns in soil and moss were similar.Long-range atmospheric transport is thought to be the main source of PCBs detected on King George Island.The ∑12PCBs toxic equivalent(TEQ) in soil was 0.400×10?3 to 516×10?3 pg(TEQ)/g with a mean value of 147×10?3 pg(TEQ)/g.PCB-126 had the largest contribution(81.1%) to the ∑12PCBs TEQ in soil.The ∑12PCBs TEQ in moss ranged from 2.90×10?3 to 1.19 pg/g with a mean value of 0.482 pg/g.PCB-126 was also the largest contributor(91.4%) to the ∑12PCBs TEQ in moss.The mean TEQ in moss was about 40 times that in soil.WANG Qiang SHI YeHong HU JianXin YAO ZiWei FANG XueKun DONG YiAn 2012Chinese Science Bulletin2012,57,9:3
4High-performance optoelectronic devices based on van der Waals vertical MoS2/MoSe2 heterostructures显示文摘Monolayer MoS2 is a direct band gap semiconductor with large exciton binding energy,which is a promising candidate for the application of ultrathin optoelectronic devices.However,the optoelectronic performance of monolayer M0S2 is seriously limited to its growth quality and carrier mobility.In this work,we report the direct vapor growth and the optoelectronic device of verticallystacked MoS2/MoSe2 heterostructure,and further discuss the mechanism of improved device performance.The optical and high-resolution atomic characterizations demonstrate that the heterostructure interface is of high-quality without atomic alloying.Electrical transport measurements indicate that the heterostructure transistor exhibits a high mobility of 28.5 cm^2/(V·s)and a high on/off ratio of 10^7.The optoelectronic characterizations prove that the heterostructure device presents an enhanced photoresponsivity of 36 A/W and a remarkable detectivity of 4.8×10^11 Jones,which benefited from the interface induced built-in electric field and carrier dependent Coulomb screening effect.This work demonstrates that the construction of two-dimensional(2D)semiconductor heterostructures plays a significant role in modifying the optoelectronic device properties of 2D materials.Fang Li Boyi Xu Wen Yang Zhaoyang Qi Chao Ma Yajuan Wang Xuehong Zhang Zhuoran Luo Delang Liang Dong Li Ziwei Li Anlian Pan 2020Nano Research2020,13,4:2
5Restored intestinal integrity,nutrients transporters,energy metabolism,antioxidative capacity and decreased harmful microbiota were associated with IUGR piglet's catch-up growth before weanling显示文摘Background:Intrauterine growth restriction(IUGR)is a major inducer of higher morbidity and mortality in the pig industry and catch-up growth(CUG)before weanling could significantly restore this negative influence.But there was limited knowledge about the underlying mechanism of CUG occurrence.Methods:Eighty litters of newborn piglets were divided into normal birth weight(NBW)and IUGR groups according to birth weight.At 26 d,those piglets with IUGR but over average body weight of eighty litters of weaned piglets were considered as CUG,and the piglets with IUGR still below average body weight were considered as NCUG.This study was conducted to systemically compare the intestinal difference among NBW,CUG and NCUG weaned piglets considering the crucial role of the intestine for piglet growth.Results:The results indicated that the m RNA expression of nutrients(amino acids,glucose,and fatty acids)transporters,and mitochondrial electron transport chain(ETC)I were upregulated in CUG piglets'gut with improved morphology compared with those NCUG,as well as the ratio of P-AMPK/AMPK protein expression which is the indicator of energy metabolism.Meanwhile,CUG piglet's gut showed higher antioxidative capacity with increased SOD and GSHPx activity,decreased MDA levels,as well as higher m RNA expressions of Nrf2,Keap1,SOD,and GSH-Px.Furthermore,inflammatory parameters including TNF-α,IL-1β,IL-6,and IL-12 factors,and the activation of MAPK and NF-κB signaling pathways were significantly elevated in the NCUG intestine,while the protein expression of ZO-1,Occludin and Claudin-1 was reduced.The alpha diversity of fecal microbiota was higher in CUG piglets in contrast with NCUG piglets,and the increased beneficial bacteria and decreased pathogenic bacteria was also observed in CUG piglets.Conclusions:CUG piglet's intestine showed comprehensive restoration including higher nutrients transport,energy metabolism,antioxidant capacity,and intestinal physical barrier,while lower oxidative stress,inflammatory response,and pathogenic microbiota.Chang Cui Caichi Wu Jun Wang Ziwei Ma Xiaoyu Zheng Pengwei Zhu Nuan Wang Yuhua Zhu Wutai Guan Fang Chen 2023Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2023,14,1:1
6Effects of Imports and Exports on China's PM2.5 Pollution显示文摘This paper examines the effects o f imports and exports on Chinas PM2.5 pollution using data from 31 provinces during the period 2001-2016.At the aggregate level,our analysis shows that exports have a pollution-generating effect while imports have a pollution-shifting effect on provincial PM2.5 pollution.Cross-sectional analysis reveals that imports and exports exhibit opposite effects on manufacturing and high-tech industries,but demonstrate the same pollution-generating effect for the heavy industry sector.At the regional level,the effects are similar to those at the aggregate level.We also examine the impacts o f other factors on PM2.5 pollution.Our empirical evidence shows that PM2.5 pollution is positively correlated with domestic sales,population density,economic growth,urbanization rate,and transportation,but negatively correlated with energy efficiency and industry structure.This paper suggests that reducing exports and increasing imports will help to reduce PM2.5 pollution.Zhaohua Li Ziwei Fang Zhuyu Tang 2020China & World Economy2020,28,6:1
7Modeling colorectal tumorigenesis using the organoids derived from conditionally immortalized mouse intestinal crypt cells (ciMICs)显示文摘Intestinal cancers are developed from intestinal epithelial stem cells(ISCs)in intestinal crypts through a multi-step process involved in genetic mutations of oncogenes and tumor suppressor genes.ISCs play a key role in maintaining the homeostasis of gut epithelium.In 2009,Sato et al established a three-dimensional culture system,which mimicked the niche microenvironment by employing the niche factors,and successfully grew crypt ISCs into organoids or Mini-guts in vitro.Since then,the intestinal organoid technology has been used to delineate cellular signaling in ISC biology.However,the cultured organoids consist of heterogeneous cell populations,and it was technically challenging to introduce genomic changes into three-dimensional organoids.Thus,there was a technical necessity to develop a twodimensional ISC culture system for effective genomic manipulations.In this study,we established a conditionally immortalized mouse intestinal crypt(ciMIC)cell line by using a piggyBac transposon-based SV40 T antigen expression system.We showed that the ciMICs maintained long-term proliferative activity under two-dimensional niche factor-containing culture condition,retained the biological characteristics of intestinal epithelial stem cells,and could form intestinal organoids in three-dimensional culture.While in vivo cell implantation tests indicated that the ciMICs were non-tumorigenic,the ciMICs overexpressing oncogenic b-catenin and/or KRAS exhibited high proliferative activity and developed intestinal adenoma-like pathological features in vivo.Collectively,these findings strongly suggested that the engineered ciMICs should be used as a valuable tool cell line to dissect the genetic and/or epigenetic underpinnings of intestinal tumorigenesis.Xiaoxing Wu Zhaoxia Li Hongyu Zhang Fang He Min Qiao Huaxiu Luo Jing Zhang Meng Zhang Yukun Mao William Wagstaff Yongtao Zhang Changchun Niu Xia Zhao Hao Wang Linjuan Huang Deyao Shi Qing Liu Na Ni Kai Fu Rex C.Haydon Russell R.Reid Hue H.Luu Tong-Chuan He Ziwei Wang Houjie Liang Bing-Qiang Zhang Ning Wang 2021Genes & Diseases2021,8,6:1

9Acoustic response characteristics and sensitivity of briquette and raw coal under temperature and pressure control显示文摘Acoustic testing is a widely used technique to measure the coal mechanical properties under high temperature and pressure in situ conditions.This study compared the acoustic wave characteristics of briquette and raw coal under various temperature and pressure conditions.The results show that the longitudinal wave velocity(Vp)decreases with an increasing vitrinite content.A large number of the vitrinite content enhances the process in which the temperature and pressure changed the Vp.The Vp of briquette decreases approximately linearly with the temperature compared to raw coal.The Vp of raw coal experiences initially a rapid,then gradual,and finally the moderate increasing trend with the increase in confining pressure.However,in briquette,the Vp increases approximately linearly with the confining pressure.The results indicate that the Vp is more sensitive to temperature under low confining pressure and peaks at 50℃−60℃ than high confining pressure.However,the Vp is less sensitive to temperature under higher confining pressure,and the positive effect of high confining pressure is dominant.Understanding the mechanical properties of coal under high pressure and temperature develops better insight into coalbed methane(CBM)exploration from deep reservoirs.Hewei ZHANG Jian SHEN Kexin LI Xiaojie FANG Ziwei WANG Lei DU 2023Frontiers of Earth Science2023,17,1:0
10Highly dispersed 1 nm Pt Pd bimetallic clusters for formic acid electrooxidation through a CO-free mechanism显示文摘Direct formic acid fuel cell(DFAFC) is an important research project in clean energy field.However,commercialization of DFAFC is still largely limited by the available catalysts with unsatisfied activity,durability and cost for formic acid electrooxidation(FAEO).Using Pt-and Pd-based nanoclusters as electrocatalysts is a particularly promising strategy to solve the above problem,but two attendant problems need to be solved firstly.(Ⅰ) The controllable synthesis of practicable and stable sub-2 nm clusters remains challenging.(Ⅱ) The catalyzing mechanism of sub-2 nm metal clusters for FAEO has not yet completely understood.Herein,different from traditional solution synthesis,by designing a novel supporting material containing electron-rich and electron-deficient functional groups,size-and dispersioncontrollable synthesis of ~1 nm PtPd nanoclusters is realized by an electrochemical process.The electrocatalytic properties and reaction mechanism of the PtPd nanoclusters for the FAEO were studied by different electrochemical techniques,in-situ fourier transform infrared(FTIR) spectra and density functional theory(DFT) calculations.The tiny PtPd nanoclusters have much higher catalytic activity and durability than commercial Pt/C,Pd/C and 3.5 nm PtPd nanoparticles.The present study shows that the metalreactant interaction plays a decisive role in determining the catalytic activity and cluster-support interaction plays a decisive role in enhancing the durability of electrocatalyst.The ratio and arrangement of Pt and Pd atoms on the surface of 1 nm PtPd cluster as well as the overall valence state,d-band center and specific surface area make them exhibit different catalytic performance and reaction mechanism from nanoparticle catalysts.In addition,in situ FTIR and DFT calculations showed that on the surface of PtPd clusters,the generation of CO_(2)through trans-COOH intermediate is the most optimal reaction pathway for the FAEO.Zhongying Fang Ziwei Zhang Shemsu Ligani Fereja Jinhan Guo Xinjie Tong Yue Zheng Rupeng Liu Xiaolong Liang Leting Zhang Zongjun Li Wei Chen 2023Journal of Energy Chemistry2023,,3:0

12Dietary supplementation of benzoic acid and essential oils combination enhances intestinal resilience against LPS stimulation in weaned piglets显示文摘Background The benefits of combining benzoic acid and essential oils(BAO)to mitigate intestinal impairment during the weaning process have been well established,while the detailed underlying mechanism has not been fully elucidated.Previous research has primarily focused on the reparative effects of BAO on intestinal injury,while neglecting its potential in enhancing intestinal stress resistance.Methods In this study,we investigated the pre-protective effect of BAO against LPS-induced stress using a modified experimental procedure.Piglets were pre-supplemented with BAO for 14 d,followed by a challenge with LPS or saline to collect blood and intestinal samples.Results Our findings demonstrated that BAO supplementation led to significant improvements in piglets’final weight,average daily gain,and feed intake/body gain ratio.Additionally,BAO supplementation positively influenced the composition of intestinal microbiota,increasing beneficial Actinobacteriota and Alloprevotella while reducing harmful Desulfobacterota,Prevotella and Oscillospira.Furthermore,BAO supplementation effectively mitigated oxidative disturbances and inflammatory responses induced by acute LPS challenge.This was evidenced by elevated levels of T-AOC,SOD,and GSH,as well as decreased levels of MDA,TNF-α,and IL-6 in the plasma.Moreover,piglets subjected to LPS challenge and pre-supplemented with BAO exhibited significant improvements in intestinal morphological structure and enhanced integrity,as indicated by restored expression levels of Occludin and Claudin-1 compared to the non-supplemented counterparts.Further analysis revealed that BAO supplementation enhanced the jejunal antioxidative capacity by increasing GSH-Px levels and decreasing MDA levels under the LPS challenge and stimulated the activation of the Nrf2 signaling pathway.Additionally,the reduction of TLR4/NF-κB/MAPK signaling pathways activation and proinflammatory factor were also observed in the jejunal of those piglets fed with BAO.Conclusions In summary,our study demonstrates that pre-supplementation of BAO enhances the anti-stress capacity of weaned piglets by improving intestinal microbiota composition,reinforcing the intestinal barrier,and enhancing antioxidative and anti-inflammatory capabilities.These effects are closely associated with the activation of Nrf2 and TLR4/NF-κB/MAPK signaling pathways.Chang Cui Yulong Wei Yibo Wang Wen Ma Xiaoyu Zheng Jun Wang Ziwei Ma Caichi Wu Licui Chu Shihai Zhang Wutai Guan Fang Chen 2024Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2024,15,2:0

At CSRm ring in Lanzhou, thin carbon foil with 1μg/cm2 or even less is also possibly used as an internal target. Under bombardment with energetic particle beams, the foils undergo radiation damage and subsequently shrink leading to the mechanical break. 14Stable Radical TEMPO Terminated Perylene Bisimide(PBI) Based Small Molecule as Cathode Interlayer for Efficient Organic Solar Cells显示文摘By combining stable radical tetramethylpiperidine nitrogen oxide(TEMPO)as end groups and perylene bisimide(PBI)as the core,a small molecular cathode interlayer(CIL)(PBI-TEMPO)was synthesized.Detailed physical-chemical characterizations indicate that PBI-TEMPO can form smooth film,owns low unoccupied molecular orbital(LUMO)level of−3.67 eV and can reduce the work function of silver electrode.When using PBI-TEMPO as CIL in non-fullerene organic solar cells(OSCs),the PM6:BTP-4Cl based OSCs delivered high power conversion efficiencies(PCEs)up to 17.37%,higher than those using commercial PDINO CIL with PCEs of 16.95%.Further device characterizations indicate that PBI-TEMPO can facilitate more efficient exciton dissociation and reduce charge recombination,resulting in enhanced current density and fill factor.Moreover,PBI-TEMPO displays higher thermal stability than PDINO in solution.When PBI-TEMPO and PDINO solution were heated at 150℃ for 2 h and then were used as CIL in solar cells,PBI-TEMPO-based OSCs provided a PCE of 15%,while PDINO-based OSCs only showed a PCE of 10%.These results demonstrate that incorporating TEMPO into conjugated materials is a useful strategy to create new organic semiconductors for application in OSCs.ZHANG Ziwei XIA Dongdong XIE Qian ZHAO Chaowei FANG Jie WU Yonggang LI Weiwei 2023Chemical Research in Chinese Universities2023,39,2:0

16Mechanical stimulation of the scalp improves the extra-and intracranial blood circulation in humans and mice显示文摘Background:Scalp combing,as an ancient method of health care,has been used for thousands of years in traditional Chinese medicine.Although this method is considered to be beneficial for the blood circulation of the head,the underlying mechanisms remain unclear.Methods:Both human participants and mice were used in this study.In participants,the scalp was stimulated by combing continuously for 5 min,and the temperature was measured using infrared thermal imaging before and after stimulation.In mice,the temperature was determined before and at 5,15,and 30 min after a 5-min scalp mechanical stimulation(SMS).Additionally,the vasculature of the mice was labeled with retro-orbital fluorescein isothiocyanate-dextran injection,and the capillaries were observed directly under a confocal microscope.Using in vivo CLARITY imaging and the spectrofluorometric detection of Evans Blue dye extravasation,the bloodebrain barrier permeability was assessed.Results:SMS increased the temperature of the left ear significantly in human(P=.0247)while can slightly increase the temperature of the right ear and the face without significant difference(P>.05).Moreover,SMS can significantly slow the decrease in the temperature of the external auditory canal at 5 min(P=.0153)and in body temperature at 15 min(P=.0295)after SMS whereas no significant difference in body temperature at 30 min(P>.05)compared with control mice.Furthermore,capillaries of the ear with a diameter of less than 8 mm were significantly dilated(P=.0006)following SMS and the number of dextran dots was higher at 15 min(P>.05)and 30 min(F=10.98,P=.037)after SMS intervention compared with control mice.Conclusion:Our study provides strong evidence to support the notion that scalp combing can improve extra-and intracranial blood circulation under healthy conditions.Yan Tan Fang He Ce Zhang Jiani Zhang Ziwei Chen Xu Wang Peng Wei Yinan Nan Louis Lei Jin Qian Hua 2020Journal of Traditional Chinese Medical Sciences2020,7,4:0
