1Hysteretic behavior of special shaped columns composed of steel and reinforced concrete(SRC)显示文摘This paper describes a series of experimental investigations on seventeen specimens of steel reinforced concrete special shaped(SRCSS) columns under low cyclic reversed loading using parallel crosshead equipment. Nine T-shaped SRC columns, four L-shaped SRC columns and four +-shaped SRC columns were tested to examine the effects of shape steel confi guration, loading angle, axial compressive ratio and shear-span ratio on the behavior(strength, stiffness, energy dissipation, ductility, etc.) of SRCSS column specimens. The failure modes and hysteretic performance of all the specimens were obtained in the tests. Test results demonstrate that the shear-span ratio is the main parameter affecting the failure modes of SRCSS columns. The specimens with small shear-span ratio are prone to shear failure, and the primary failure planes in SRCSS columns are parallel to the loading direction. As a result, there is a symmetry between positive and negative loading directions in the hysteretic curves of the SRCSS columns. The majority of displacement ductility coeffi cients for all the specimens are over 3.0, so that the SRCSS columns demonstrate a better deformation capacity. In addition, the equivalent viscous damping coeffi cients of all the specimens are greater than 0.2, indicating that the seismic behavior of SRCSS columns is adequate. Finally, the superposition theory was used to calculate the limits of axial compressive ratio for the specimens, and it is found that the test axial compressive ratio is close to or smaller than the calculated axial compressive ratio limit.Chen Zongping Xu Jinjun Xue Jianyang 2015Earthquake Engineering and Engineering Vibration2015,14,2:17
2Photoproducts of tetracycline and oxytetracycline involving self-sensitized oxidation in aqueous solutions:Effects of Ca^(2+) and Mg^(2+)显示文摘Tetracyclines constitute one of the most important antibiotic families and represent a classic example of phototoxicity.The photoproducts of tetracyclines and their parent compounds have potentially adverse effects on natural ecosystem.In this study,the self-sensitized oxidation products of tetracycline (TC) and oxytetracycline (OTC) were determined and the effects of Ca2+ and Mg2+ on self-sensitized degradation were investigated.The Ca2+ and Mg2+ in the natural water sample accounted for enhancement (pH 7.3) and inhibition (pH 9.0) of photodegradation of TC and OTC due to the formation of metal-ions complexes.The formation of Mg2+ complexes was unfavorable for the photodegradation of the tetracyclines at both pH values.In contrast,the Ca2+ complexes facilitated the attack of singlet oxygen (1O2) arising from self-sensitization at pH 7.3 and enhanced TC photodegradation.For the first time,selfsensitized oxidation products of TC and OTC were verified by quenching experiments and detected by LC/ESI-DAD-MS.The products had a nominal mass 14 Da higher than the parent drugs (designated M+14),which resulted from the 1O2 attack of the dimethylamino group on the C-4 atom of the tetracyclines.The presence of Ca2+ and Mg2+ also affected the generation of M+14 due to the formation of metal-ions complexes with TC and OTC.The findings suggest that the metal-ion complexation has significant impact on the selfsensitized oxidation processes and the photoproducts of tetracyclines.Yong Chen Hua Li Zongping Wang Tao Tao Chun Hu 2011Journal of Environmental Sciences2011,23,10:12
3Seismic performance of recycled concrete-filled square steel tube columns显示文摘An experimental study on the seismic performance of recycled concrete-filled square steel tube(RCFST) columns is carried out.Six specimens were designed and tested under constant axial compression and cyclic lateral loading.Two parameters, replacement percentage of recycled coarse aggregate(RCA) and axial compression level, were considered in the test.Based on the experimental data, the hysteretic loops, skeleton curves, ductility, energy dissipation capacity and stiffness degradation of RCFST columns were analyzed.The test results indicate that the failure modes of RCFST columns are the local buckling of the steel tube at the bottom of the columns, and the hysteretic loops are full and their shapes are similar to normal CFST columns.Furthermore, the ductility coefficient of all specimens are close to 3.0, and the equivalent viscous damping coefficient corresponding to the ultimate lateral load ranges from 0.323 to 0.360, which demonstrates that RCFST columns exhibit remarkable seismic performance.Chen Zongping Jing Chenggui Xu Jinjun Zhang Xianggang 2017Earthquake Engineering and Engineering Vibration2017,16,1:8
4Dynamics of ecosystem carbon stocks during vegetation restoration on the Loess Plateau of China显示文摘In the last few decades, the Loess Plateau had experienced an extensive vegetation restoration to reduce soil erosion and to improve the degraded ecosystems. However, the dynamics of ecosystem carbon stocks with vegetation restoration in this region are poorly understood. This study examined the changes of carbon stocks in mineral soil(0–100 cm), plant biomass and the ecosystem(plant and soil) following vegetation restoration with different models and ages. Our results indicated that cultivated land returned to native vegetation(natural restoration) or artificial forest increased ecosystem carbon sequestration. Tree plantation sequestered more carbon than natural vegetation succession over decades scale due to the rapid increase in biomass carbon pool. Restoration ages had different effects on the dynamics of biomass and soil carbon stocks. Biomass carbon stocks increased with vegetation restoration age, while the dynamics of soil carbon stocks were affected by sampling depth. Ecosystem carbon stocks consistently increased after tree plantation regardless of the soil depth; but an initial decrease and then increase trend was observed in natural restoration chronosequences with the soil sampling depth of 0–100 cm. 5Photolysis of chlortetracycline in aqueous solution:Kinetics,toxicity and products显示文摘The aqueous photodegradation of the widely used antibiotic chlortetracycline(CTC) was investigated under simulated sunlight.The quantum yield of photodegradation increased from 3.3 × 10-4 to 8.5 × 10-3 within the pH range of 6.0 to 9.0.The presence of Ca2+,Fe3+,and NO3-enhanced the photodegradation of CTC,whereas Mg2+,Mn2+,and Zn2+ inhibited the degradation with the order Mn2+ > Zn2+ > Mg2+ at pH 7.3.The monovalent cations(Na+ and K+) had negligible effect on the photolysis of CTC.Fulvic acid(FA) decreased the photodegradation of CTC due to light screening effect.Hydrogen peroxide(H2O2) was formed concurrently with direct photodegradation of CTC.The generation rate of H2O2 increased from 0.027 to 0.086 μmol/(L.min) when the pH ranged from 6.0 to 9.0.The CTC solution was about three-fold more toxic to the Photobacterium phosphoreum bacteria after irradiation,suggesting that the photoproducts and H2O2 formed in the CTC solution exhibited high risk on the bacteria.By LC-ESI(+)-MS,the photoproducts of CTC were identified.The direct photodegradation of CTC was involved in hydroxylation and N-demethyl/dedismethyl processes.The main photoproducts included the iso-CTC analog containing hydroxyl groups(m/z 511.4 and 495.4),and the N-demethyl/dedismethyl products of the photoproduct m/z 495.4(m/z 481.3 and 467.4).In addition,the photochemical dechlorination of CTC led to tetracycline(m/z 445.5).Yong Chen Hua Li Zongping Wang Tao Tao Dongbin Wei Chun Hu 2012Journal of Environmental Sciences2012,24,2:6

7Large extracellular vesicles secreted by human iPSC-derived MSCs ameliorate tendinopathy via regulating macrophage heterogeneity显示文摘Tendinopathy is a common musculoskeletal disorder which results in chronic pain and reduced performance.The therapeutic effect of stem cell derived-small extracellular vesicles(sEVs)for tendinopathy has been validated in recent years.However,whether large extracellular vesicles(lEVs),another subset of extracellular vesicles,possesses the ability for the improvement of tendinopathy remains unknown.Here,we showed that lEVs secreted from iPSC-derived MSCs(iMSC-lEVs)significantly mitigated pain derived from tendinopathy in rats.Immuno-histochemical analysis showed that iMSC-lEVs regulated the heterogeneity of infiltrated macrophages and several inflammatory cytokines in rat tendon tissue.Meanwhile,in vitro experiments revealed that the M1 pro-inflammatory macrophages were repolarized towards M2 anti-inflammatory macrophages by iMSC-lEVs,and this effect was mediated by regulating p38 MAPK pathway.Moreover,liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry analysis identified 2208 proteins encapsulated in iMSC-lEVs,including 134 new-found proteins beyond current Vesiclepedia database.By bioinformatics and Western blot analyses,we showed that DUSP2 and DUSP3,the negative regulator of p38 phosphorylation,were enriched in iMSC-lEVs and could be transported to macrophages.Further,the immunomodulatory effect of iMSC-lEVs on macrophages was validated in explant tendon tissue from tendinopathy patients.Taken together,our results demonstrate that iMSC-lEVs could reduce inflammation in tendinopathy by regulating macrophage heterogeneity,which is mediated via the p38 MAPK pathway by delivery of DUSP2 and DUSP3,and might be a promising candidate for tendinopathy therapy.Teng Ye Zhengsheng Chen Jieyuan Zhang Lei Luo Renzhi Gao Liangzhi Gong Yuhang Du Zongping Xie Bizeng Zhao Qing Li Yang Wang 2023Bioactive Materials2023,,3:2

9Self-catalyzed formation of strongly interconnected multiphase molybdenum-based composites for efficient hydrogen evolution显示文摘Molybdenum carbide(MoxC)with variable phase structure possesses flexible hydrogen-binding energy(HBE),which is a promising hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)catalyst.Herein,a hybrid multiphase MoxC freestanding film coupled with Co3Mo(CM/MoxC@NC)is synthesized through the electrospinning method supplemented by the heteroatom incorporation.CM/MoxC@NC surpasses its pure phase counterparts and exhibits remarkable catalytic activity at 114mV to deliver a current density of 10mA cm^(−2) in acid,which is among the first-rate level performance reported for MoxC-based catalysts.The subsequent ex situ and in situ characterizations reveal a phase transition mechanism based on self-catalysis that CoOx depletes the coordinated C ofα-MoC via the interaction,which realizes the assembly of weak HBEα-MoC and strong HBEβ-Mo2C,and the enhanced utilization of active materials as well.The multiple structures with optimal HBE are in favor of the stepwise reactions of HER,as the study of the correlation between HBE and phase structure revealed.This study discloses the underlying phase transition mechanism and highlights the HBE–structure relationship that should be considered for catalyst design.Jiani Chen Haijuan Zhang Jie Yu Daqin Guan Sixuan She Wei Zhou Zongping Shao 2022Carbon Energy2022,4,1:2

14Carbon dots enhanced gelatin/chitosan bio-nanocomposite packaging film for perishable foods显示文摘Carbon dots(CDs)with intriguing fluorescent property,good biocompatibility,high stability,easy interaction with substrates,are burgeoning carbon nanoparticles with large potential in various applications.Incorporating CDs into the polymer matrix is becoming a popular strategy to endow the complex with new functions.Herein,the green-synthesized CDs was integrated into the mixture of gelatin(derived from waste fish scale)and chitosan,and a multifunctional bio-nanocomposite(defined as Gelatin/Chitosan/CDs)film was developed,which showed the excellent antibacterial,antioxidant,pH-sensitivity,UV shielding,and blue-emission properties.The effects of different concentrations of CDs on the physical,mechanical,structural,and functional activity of bio-nanocomposite film were tested.Compared with the Gelatin/Chitosan film,the Gelatin/Chitosan/CDs film with an optimum addition of 20%CDs showed the enhanced antibacterial,antioxidant as well as UV shielding activities.More importantly,it was used as an effective packaging material for fish meat preservation,reducing the loss of nutritional quality consumption,extending the shelf life of food.Besides,the bio-nanocomposite films also possessed the anti-counterfeiting and pH-responsive properties due to the strong fluorescent emission of CDs,and had the great potential in developing the intelligent packaging materials.Our work shed new light on the new application of CDs and the synthesis of bio-nanocomposite film in food industry.Bofei Fu Qiaoling Liu Minghuan Liu Xiaofang Chen Hetong Lin Zongping Zheng Junqiu Zhu Congjie Dai Xiaochen Dong Da-Peng Yang 2022Chinese Chemical Letters2022,33,10:1
