1Using lightning locating system based on time-of-arrival technique to study three-dimensional lightning discharge processes显示文摘A time-of-arrival(TOA) system based on GPS technology for locating VHF radiation sources from lightning has been developed and used in observation sites in the northern Shandong Province,China.The 3D images of the lightning progression have been obtained successfully for the first time in China.The 3D-channel evolutions of typical negative CG,positive CG and IC lightning flashes have been discussed together with the data of fast electric field change.It was found that significant differences existed between the negative and positive CG lightning flashes in terms of the initiation and propagation of the radiation sources.The preliminary breakdown of a negative CG lightning flash propagated at a speed about 5.2×104 m/s.The stepped leader of negative CG lightning flashes was trigged by negative initial breakdown.Thereafter,it propagated downward at a speed of 1.3×105 m/s.The initial process of the positive CG lightning flashes was also a propagation process of negative streamer.These streamers propagated dominantly horizontally in the positive charge region and accumulated positive charges at the origin of the lightning,and as a consequence,initiated downward positive streamers.A new type of lightning discharge that was triggered by a narrow bipolar pulse(NBP) is discussed in this study.The NBP was originated at altitude of about 10.5 km in the upper positive charge region.As a distinct difference from normal IC flash,its channels extended horizontally all around and produced a lot of radiation sources.The source power of the NBP could approach 16.7 kW,which is much greater than that of normal lightning discharge ranging between 100 mW and 500 W.The 3D propagation of this new type of lightning discharge was observed and obtained for the first time in China.The possible initiation mechanism of this new type of light-ning is discussed here.ZHANG GuangShu1,WANG YanHui1,QIE XiuShu2,ZHANG Tong1,ZHAO YuXiang1,3,LI YaJun1 & CAO DongJie11 Laboratory for Climate Environment and Disasters of Western China,Cold and Arid Regions Environmental and Engineering Research Institute,Chinese Academy of Sciences,Lanzhou 730000,China 2 Laboratory for Middle Atmosphere and Global Environment Observation(LAGEO),Institute of Atmospheric Physics,Chinese Academy of Sciences,Beijing 100029,China 3 Department of Physics,Tianshui Normal College,Tianshui 741001,China 2010Science China Earth Sciences2010,53,4:21

3Damage assessment of laminated composite beam structures using damage locating vector (DLV) method显示文摘In this paper, the damage locating vector employed to locate multiple damage sites in laminated (DLV) method using normalized cumulative energy (nce) is composite beam structures. Numerical simulations of two laminated composite beams are employed to investigate several damage scenarios in which the degradation of elements is modeled by the reduction in the longitudinal Young's modulus and transverse Young's modulus of beam layers. 6Estimating the quality of stripe in structured light 3D measurement显示文摘Affected by noise, light blocking, color and shape of object, the quality of captured stripes in structured light three dimensional(3 D) measurement system is degenerated. As the quality of captured stripes is one of the key factors for measurement accuracy, some large error data is introduced into the measurement results which can only be recognized artificially with prior knowledge of the object to be measured. In this paper, a method is proposed to estimate the quality of stripe image. In the method, two parameters, skewness coefficient of stripe gray distribution and the noise level, are used to estimate the quality of stripe. The simulation results show that the bigger the skewness coefficient is, the bigger the error of stripe locating results is. Meanwhile, the smaller the noise level is, the smaller the error of stripe locating results is. The method has been used to estimate the experimental image, and the same conclusion can be obtained. 7A Locating Method for Reliability-Critical Gates with a Parallel-Structured Genetic Algorithm显示文摘The reliability allowance of circuits tends to decrease with the increase of circuit integration and the application of new technology and materials, and the hardening strategy oriented toward gates is an effective technology for improving the circuit reliability of the current situations. Therefore, a parallel-structured genetic algorithm (GA), PGA, is proposed in this paper to locate reliability-critical gates to successfully perform targeted hardening. Firstly, we design a binary coding method for reliability-critical gates and build an ordered initial population consisting of dominant individuals to improve the quality of the initial population. Secondly, we construct an embedded parallel operation loop for directional crossover and directional mutation to compensate for the deficiency of the poor local search of the GA. Thirdly, for combination with a diversity protection strategy for the population, we design an elitism retention based selection method to boost the convergence speed and avoid being trapped by a local optimum. Finally, we present an ordered identification method oriented toward reliability-critical gates using a scoring mechanism to retain the potential optimal solutions in each round to improve the robustness of the proposed locating method. 8Propagation and localisation of partial discharge in transformer bushing based on ultra-high frequency technique显示文摘As an essential component of power transformers,the detection and diagnosis of incipient partial discharge(PD)activities of bushings are of great significance.A 35-kV oil-impregnated paper(OIP)bushing is investigated.The bushing is modelled by coaxial theory and electromagnetic(EM)simulation.As the paths of PD-induced ultra-high frequency(UHF)signal propagating in the bushing are OIPs and oil gap,small attenuation during signal propagation is seen.Since OIP is composed of het-erogeneous media compared with pure oil,there will be relatively less UHF signal leakage from OIPs,whereas more leakage from the oil gap.This leakage provides the possibility of non-contact detection outside the bushing by UHF method.PD mea-surements with UHF method are carried out on the bushing.Then,the minimum energy method is used to extract time-difference-of-arrival(TDOA),and Chan al-gorithm is adopted to locate points of UHF signal radiation.High accuracy locating with a small error of 15 cm has been achieved.The contactless UHF method-based tests have demonstrated the effectiveness of online monitoring and locating of bushing PD.Jun Jiang Judong Chen Jiansheng Li Xiaoping Yang Ricardo Albarracín-Sánchez Prem Ranjan Chaohai Zhang 2021High Voltage2021,6,4:1

10A wall-thickness compensation strategy for wax pattern of hollow turbine blade显示文摘As an important index affecting the aerodynamic performance and the structural strength of hollow turbine blades, the wall-thickness precision of the blade is mainly inherited from the positional relationship between the corresponding wax pattern and the internal ceramic core.However, due to locating errors, the actual position of ceramic core is always deviated from the ideal position, which makes it difficult to guarantee the wall-thickness precision of the wax pattern.To solve this problem, a wall-thickness compensation strategy is proposed in this paper. Firstly,based on the industrial computed tomography(ICT) technique and curve matching algorithms, a model reconstruction method is developed, with which the 3D model of a trial wax pattern can be easily constructed. After that, focusing on eliminating the wall-thickness errors of the trial wax pattern, an optimization method for the pose of the ceramic core in the wax pattern is proposed. Then, by mapping the optimal pose of the ceramic core to length adjustments of the locating rods, the wall-thickness errors of the wax pattern can be greatly reduced. 11The clinical research of esophagus radiographic locating method of atrial septal puncture-including the clinical analyses of 486 cases显示文摘Objective To devise the safety and validity of clinical application of esophagus radiographic locating method of transseptal puncture. Methods Four hundreds and eighty-six patients who were undergone transseptal puncture were randomized into two groups. Esophagus radiographic locating method of tansseptal puncture was applied in the study group(n=243) and modified-Ross locating method was used in the control group(n=243). After successful location, transseptal puncture was made. Then observe the success rate and complication incidences of the 2 groups. Results Left atria impression in the study group was clearly seen. 120 cases in control group could not shown clearly the left atria silhouette. The success rate of locating transseptal puncture in the study group and control group were 100% and 50.6 % respectively(P<0.001). The success rate of transeptal puncture in the study group and control group was 99.6% and 45.7% respectively (P<0.001). There were no puncture complication in study group and pericardial tamponade occurred in 1 case in control group. Conclusion The esophagus radiographic locating method of transeptal puncture is accurate, safe and simple to perform. 12Novel Superconducting Electrides in Ca–S System under High Pressures显示文摘Due to their unique structure properties,most of the electrides that possess extra electrons locating in interstitial regions as anions are insulators.Metallic and superconducting electrides are very rare under ambient conditions.We systematically search possible compounds in Ca-S systems stabilized under various pressures up to 200 GPa,and investigate their crystal structures and properties using first-principles calculations.We predict a series of novel stoichiometries in Ca-S systems as potential superconductors,including P2_(1)/m Ca_(3)S, Pnma Ca_(3)S,Pnma Ca_(2)S,Cmcm Ca_(2)S,Fddd CaS_(2),Immm CaS_(3) and C2/c CaS_(4).The P4mbm Ca_(3)S phase exhibits a maximum Tc value of ~20K.It is interesting to notice that the P2_(1)/m Ca_(3)S and Pnma Ca_(2)S stabilized at 60 and 50 GPa behave as superconducting electrides with critical temperatures Tc of 7.04 K and 0.26 K,respectively.More importantly,our results demonstrate that P2_(1)/m Ca_(3)S and Pnma Ca_(2)S are dynamically stable at 5 GPa and 0 GPa,respectively,indicating a high possibility to be quenched to ambient condition or synthesized using the large volume press.刘云仙 王超 韩帅 陈欣 孙海瑞 刘晓兵 2021Chinese Physics Letters2021,38,3:0

19Sniffing with mass spectrometry显示文摘Gaseous compounds are usually on-line detectable on sensors. The limitations of conventional sensors are suffering from incapability for exactly identifying multiple components as well as incompatibility to possible toxicants in every odor sample. Herein, we discuss an inlet modification to the laboratory standard mass spectrometer, inspired by the sensitive olfactory systems of animals, for direct sniffing,established by connecting a mini pump to the nebulizer gas tubing. The modified mass spectrometry method—sniffing-mass spectrometry(sniffing-MS)—can acquire detailed fingerprint spectra of mixed odors and shows high tolerance to toxicants. Furthermore, the method has a low limit of detection in the order of parts per trillion and is a ‘sampling-free' technique for analyzing various gaseous compounds simultaneously, thus offering versatility for smelling daily commodities, tracking diffusion, and locating position of odors.
