1Effects of regulating intestinal microbiota on anxiety symptoms: A systematic review显示文摘Background Anxiety symptoms are common in mental diseases and a variety of physical disorders, especially in disorders related to stress. More and more basic studies have indicated that gut microbiota can regulate brain function through the gut-brain axis, and dysbiosis of intestinal microbiota was related to anxiety. However, there is no specific evidence to support treatment of anxiety by regulating intestinal microbiota. Aims To find evidence sup porting improvement of anxiety symptoms by regulation of intestinal microbiota. Methods This systematic review of randomised controlled trials was searched based on the following databases: PubMed, EMBASE, the Cochrane Library, OVID, Web of Knowledge, China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), Wanfang Data, VIP databases and SinoMed. The retrieval time dated back to 25 July 2018. Then we screened research literatures based on established inclusion and exclusion criteria. Quality evaluation for each included study was done using the Cochrane risk of bias and the Jadad scale. Results A total of 3334 articles were retrieved and 21 studies were included which contained 1503 subjects. In the 21 studies, 15 chose probiotics as interventions to regulate intestinal microbiota and six chose non-probiotic ways such as adjusting daily diets. Probiotic supplements in seven studies contained only one kind of probiotic, two studies used a product that contained two kinds of probiotics and the supplements used in the other five studies included at least three kinds of probiotics. In the studies that used treatment as usual plus interventions regulating intestinal flora (IRIF) as interventions (five studies), only non-probiotic ways were effective (two studies), which means 40% of studies were effective;in the studies that used IRIF alone (16 studies, 11 studies used probiotic ways and 5 studies used non-probiotic ways), 56% of studies could improve anxiety symptoms, and 80% of studies that conducted the non-probiotic interventions were effective, while 45% of studies that used probiotic supplementations had positive effects on anxiety symptoms. Overall, 11 studies showed a positive effect on anxiety symptoms by regulating intestinal microbiota, which indicated 52% of the 21 studies were effective, and there were five studies that used probiotic supplements as interventions and six used non-probiotic interventions. In addition, it should be noted that six of seven studies showed that regulation of intestinal microbiota could treat anxiety symptoms, the rate of efficacy was 86%.Conclusions We find that more than half of the studies included showed it was positive to treat anxiety symptoms by regulation of intestinal microbiota. There are two kinds of interventions (probiotic and non-probiotic interventions) to regulate intestinal microbiota, and it should be highlighted that the non-probiotic interventions were more effective than the probiotic interventions. 2Biological Activity and Antibacterial Property of Nano-structured TiO_2 Coating Incorporated with Cu Prepared by Micro-arc Oxidation显示文摘Micro-arc oxidized Cu-incorporated TiO2 coatings(Cu—TiO2) were prepared in the Ca,P,Cu-containing electrolyte to obtain an implant material with superior biological activity and antibacterial property.The surface topography,phase,and element composition of the TiO2 and Cu—TiO2 coatings were characterized by scanning electron microscopy(SEM),X-ray diffraction(XRD),and energy-dispersive X-ray spectrometry (EDS),respectively.Staphylococcus aureus(S.aureus) was selected to evaluate the antibacterial property of the Cu—TiO2 coatings,whereas osteoblastic MG63 cells were cultured on the coatings to investigate the biological activity.The obtained results demonstrated that Cu element was successfully incorporated into the porous nano-structured TiO2 coatings,which did not alter apparently the surface topography and phase composition of the coatings as compared to the Cu-free TiO2 coatings.Moreover,the antibacterial studies suggested that the Cu-incorporated TiO2 coatings could significantly inhibit the adhesion of S.aureus.In addition,the in vitro biological evaluation displayed that the adhesion,proliferation and differentiation of MG63 cells on the Cu-incorporated coatings were enhanced as compared to those on the Cu-free coatings and Ti plates.In conclusion,the innovative Cu-incorporated nano-structured TiO2 coatings on Ti substrate with excellent antibacterial property and biological activity are promising candidates for orthopedic implant.Wei Zhu Zhenxiang Zhang Beibei Gu Junying Sun Lixian Zhu 2013Journal of Materials Science & Technology2013,29,3:8

5Metabolic characteristics and nutrient utilization in high-feedefficiency pigs selected using different feed conversion ratio models显示文摘An understanding of the nutrient utilization characteristics of pigs with different feed efficiencies(FEs) will help us to develop new strategies to reduce the costs of pig production.In this study,we selected pigs with a range of FEs according to two feed conversion ratio models: the feed intake(FI) model,where pigs had the same average daily gains(ADGs) but different FIs,and the ADG model,where pigs had the same FIs but different ADGs.High-FE pigs had a higher abundance of short chain fatty acid(SCFA)-producing bacteria(Lachnospiraceae,Clostridiaceae1,and Coriobacteriaceae) in their caecum in the FI model,and low-FE pigs had a higher abundance of two families(BacteroidalesS247group and Peptococcaceae) and two genera(Anaerotruncus and CandidatusSoleaferrea) in both models.By contrast,high-FE pigs had more goblet cells and higher m RNA expression of insulin-like growth factor 1(IGF-1) in the FI model,and higher mRNA expression of occludin but lower expressions of adenosine monophosphate-activated protein kinase(AMPK)-α2 and peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gamma coactivator 1 alpha(PGC1α) in the ADG model.These findings suggest that the presence of SCFA-producing bacteria in the caecum and increased muscular growth may contribute to the high FE of low-FI pigs,while improved intestinal functions and decreased mitochondrial activity in the skeletal muscle are related to the high FE of high-ADG pigs.Beibei He Tiantian Li Wei Wang Hang Gao Yu Bai Shuai Zhang Jianjun Zang Defa Li Junjun Wang 2019Science China(Life Sciences)2019,62,7:5
6Synthesis of high-purity silver nanorods with tunable plasmonic properties and sensor behavior显示文摘Through anisotropic Ag overgrowth on the surface of Au nanobipyramids(Au NBPs), high-purity and sizecontrolled Ag nanorods(Au/Ag NRs) are obtained by a simplified purification process. The diameters of the Au/Ag NRs are determined by the size of the as-prepared Au NBPs, and the lengths of the Au/Ag NRs are tunable using different amounts of Ag precursor in the growth solution. Surface-enhanced Raman scattering(SERS) studies using Rhodamine-6G(R6G) as a test molecule indicate that the Au/Ag NRs have excellent sensing potential. 8Surface Oxygen Injection in Tin Disulfide Nanosheets for Efficient CO_(2) Electroreduction to Formate and Syngas显示文摘Surface chemistry modification represents a promising strategy to tailor the adsorption and activation of reaction intermediates for enhancing activity.Herein,we designed a surface oxygen-injection strategy to tune the electronic structure of SnS_(2) nanosheets,which showed effectively enhanced electrocatalytic activity and selectivity of CO_(2) reduction to formate and syngas(CO and H_(2)).The oxygen-injection SnS_(2) nanosheets exhibit a remarkable Faradaic efficiency of 91.6%for carbonaceous products with a current density of 24.1 mA cm^(−2) at−0.9 V vs RHE,including 83.2%for formate production and 16.5%for syngas with the CO/H_(2) ratio of 1:1.By operando X-ray absorption spectroscopy,we unravel the in situ surface oxygen doping into the matrix during reaction,thereby optimizing the Sn local electronic states.Operando synchrotron radiation infrared spectroscopy along with theoretical calculations further reveals that the surface oxygen doping facilitated the CO_(2) activation and enhanced the affinity for HCOO*species.This result demonstrates the potential strategy of surface oxygen injection for the rational design of advanced catalysts for CO_(2) electroreduction.Tao Chen Tong Liu Tao Ding Beibei Pang Lan Wang Xiaokang Liu Xinyi Shen Sicong Wang Dan Wu Dong Liu Linlin Cao Qiquan Luo Wei Zhang Wenkun Zhu Tao Yao 2021Nano-Micro Letters2021,13,11:3
9Phonon scattering and exciton localization: molding exciton flux in two dimensional disorder energy landscape显示文摘Two dimensional excitonic devices are of great potential to overcome the dilemma of response time and integration in current generation of electron or/and photon based systems.The ultrashort diffusion length of exciton arising from ultrafast relaxation and low carrier mobility greatly discounts the performance of excitonic devices.Phonon scattering and exciton localization are crucial to understand the modulation of exciton flux in two dimensional disorder energy landscape,which still remain elusive.Here,we report an optimized scheme for exciton diffusion and relaxation dominated by phonon scattering and disorder potentials in WSe2 monolayers.The effective diffusion coefficient is enhanced by>200%at 280 K.The excitons tend to be localized by disorder potentials accompanied by the steadily weakening of phonon scattering when temperature drops to 260 K,and the onset of exciton localization brings forward as decreasing temperature.These findings identify that phonon scattering and disorder potentials are of great importance for long-range exciton diffusion and thermal management in exciton based systems,and lay a firm foundation for the development of functional excitonic devices.Pengfei Qi Yang Luo Beibei Shi Wei Li Donglin Liu Liheng Zheng Zhixin Liu Yanglong Hou Zheyu Fang 2021eLight2021,1,1:3

12A comparative study of the extractive desulfurization mechanism by Cu(Ⅱ)and Zn-based imidazolium ionic liquids显示文摘A comparative study of the extractive desulfurization(EDS) mechanism by Cu(Ⅱ) and Zn-based ILs([C_4mim]_2[MCl_4], M ? Cu(Ⅱ) or Zn)has been performed. It is found that the p–p interaction and C-H/p interaction play important roles in EDS for both Cu(Ⅱ) and Zn-based ILs,which is different from Al, Fe-based ILs. In the gas phase models, the interaction energy between Zn-based ILs and dibenzothiophene(DBT) is stronger than the interaction energy of Cu(Ⅱ)-based ILs. In order to consider the solvent effect, a generic ionic liquid of solvation model has been implemented, which is few considered in the previous calculations of EDS. It is interesting to find that the gap of interaction energies between Cu(Ⅱ), Zn-based ILs and DBT are reduced when the solvent effect is considered. 13Exercise induces tissue hypoxia and HIF-1α redistribution in the small intestine显示文摘Background'. Exercise induces blood flow redistribution among tissues, leading to splanchnic hypoperfusion. Intestinal epithelial cells are positionedbetween the anaerobic lumen and the highly metabolic lamina propria with an oxygen gradient. Hypoxia-inducible factor (HIF)-la is piv・otal in the transcriptional response to the oxygen flux.Methods: In this study, the pimonidazole hydrochloride staining was applied to observe the tissue hypoxia in different organs, which might beaffected by the blood flow redistribution. The HIF-la luciferase reporter ROSA26 oxygen-dependent degradation domain (ODD)-Luc/+ mousemodel (ODD domain-Luc;female, n = 3—6/group) was used to detect the HIF-la expression in the intestine. We used 3 swimming models: mod・erate exercise for 30 min, heavy-intensity exercise bearing 5% bodyweight for 1.5 h, and long-time exercise for 3 h.Results'. We found that 1 session of swimming at different intensities could induce tissue hypoxia redistribution in the small intestine, colon, liverand kidney, but not in the spleen, heart, and skeletal muscle. Our data showed that exercise exacerbated the extent of physiological hypoxia in thesmall intestine. Next, using ODD-Luc mice, we found that moderate exercise increased the in vivo HIF-la level in the small intestine. The post・exercise HIF-la level was gradually decreased in a time-dependent manner. Interestingly, the redistribution of tissue hypoxia and the increase ofHIF-la expression were not related to the exercise intensity and duration.Conclusion'. 15Construction of Photoresponsive 3D Structures Based on Triphenylethylene Photochromic Building Blocks显示文摘Photoresponsive materials have been widely used in sensing,bioimaging,molecular switches,information storage,and encryption nowadays.Although a large amount of photoresponsive materials have been reported,the construction of these smart materials into precisely prescribed complex 3D geometries is rarely studied.Here we designed a novel photoresponsive material methyl methacrylate containing triphenylethylene(TrPEF_(2)-MA)that can be directly used for digital light processing(DLP)3D printing.Based on TrPEF_(2)-MA,a series of photoresponsive 3D structures with reversible color switching under ultraviolet/visible light irradiations were fabricated.These complex photoresponsive 3D structures show high resolutions(50μm),excellent repeatability(25 cycles without fatigue),and tunable saturate color degrees.Multicomponent DLP 3D printing processes were also carried out to demonstrate their great properties in information hiding and information-carrying properties.This design strategy for constructing photoresponsive 3D structures is attractive in the area of adaptive camouflage,information hiding,information storage,and flexible electronics.Xiayu Zhang Fukang Liu Beibei Du Rongjuan Huang Simin Zhang Yunfei He Hailan Wang Jingjing Cui Biao Zhang Tao Yu Wei Huang 2022Research2022,,4:1

18A facile design for multifunctional AIEgen based on tetraaniline derivatives显示文摘Aniline oligomers have been widely used in many fields due to their excellent physicochemical properties. Owing to strong intermolecular interactions, their emission is always weakened or quenched when they are in high concentration or aggregated state, which greatly limits their fluorescent applications. Inspired by the concept of aggregation-induced emission(AIE), herein we introduced large steric groups onto the aniline oligomer to prevent the formation of packing structure. In particular, diphenyl vinyl group was bonded with oligomeric tetraaniline by a facile synthetic procedure with high yield. The obtained aniline oligomer derivative exhibited typical AIE features, which was also confirmed by density functional theoretical calculation. More importantly, this AIE oligomer was able to detect Fe^(3+) ions selectively and quantitatively. The fluorescence intensity decreased linearly along with the increment of Fe^(3+) concentration. Moreover, we demonstrated that this AIE oligomer could stain live bacteria, such as E. coli and S. aureus efficiently. 20Genome-wide profiling of histone H3 lysine 27 trimethylation and its modification in response to chilling stress in grapevine leaves显示文摘Histone H3 lysine 27 trimethylation(H3K27me3) is a histone modification associated with transcriptional repression. However, insights into the genome-wide pattern of H3K27me3 in grapevines are limited. Here, anti-H3K27 chromatin immunoprecipitation(ChIP), high-throughput sequencing, and transcriptome analysis were performed using leaves of Vitis amurensis. The leaves were treated at 4°C for 2 h and 24 h and used to investigate changes in H3K27me3 under chilling treatment. The results show that H3K27me3 is well-distributed both in gene regions(-50%) and in the intergenic region(-50%) in the grapevine genome(Vitis vinifera ‘Pinot Noir PN40024'). H3K27me3 was found to be localized in8 368 annotated gene regions in all detected samples(leaves at normal temperature and under chilling treatments) and mainly enriched in gene bodies with the adjacent promoter and downstream areas. The short-term chilling treatments(4°C for 2 h) induced 2 793 gains and 305losses in H3K27me3 modification. Subsequently, 97.3% of the alterations were restored to original levels after 24 h treatment. The ChIP-qPCR for five differential peaks showed similar results to the data for ChIP-seq, indicating that the chilling-induced H3K27me3 modification is reliable.Integrative analysis of transcriptome and ChIP-seq results showed that the expression of H3K27me3 target genes was significantly lower than those of non-target genes, indicating transcriptional repression of H3K27me3 in grapevine leaves. Furthermore, histone methylation alterations were detected in 82 genes and were related to either repression or activation of their expression during chilling stress.
