4Chitosan conduits combined with nerve growth factor microspheres repair facial nerve defects显示文摘Microspheres containing nerve growth factor for sustained release were prepared by a compound method,and implanted into chitosan conduits to repair 10-mm defects on the right buccal branches of the facial nerve in rabbits.In addition,chitosan conduits combined with nerve growth factor or normal saline,as well as autologous nerve,were used as controls.At 90 days post-surgery,the muscular atrophy on the right upper lip was more evident in the nerve growth factor and normal saline groups than in the nerve growth factor-microspheres and autologous nerve groups.Electrophysiological analysis revealed that the nerve conduction velocity and amplitude were significantly higher in the nerve growth factor-microspheres and autologous nerve groups than in the nerve growth factor and normal saline groups.Moreover,histological observation illustrated that the diameter,number,alignment and myelin sheath thickness of myelinated nerves derived from rabbits were higher in the nerve growth factor-microspheres and autologous nerve groups than in the nerve growth factor and normal saline groups.These findings indicate that chitosan nerve conduits combined with microspheres for sustained release of nerve growth factor can significantly improve facial nerve defect repair in rabbits.Huawei Liu Weisheng Wen Min Hu Wenting Bi Lijie Chen Sanxia Liu Peng Chen Xinying Tan 2013Neural Regeneration Research2013,8,33:22

6Changes in visibility with PM_(2.5) composition and relative humidity at a background site in the Pearl River Delta region显示文摘In fall–winter, 2007–2013, visibility and light scattering coefficients(b sp) were measured along with PM_(2.5)mass concentrations and chemical compositions at a background site in the Pearl River Delta(PRD) region. The daily average visibility increased significantly(p < 0.01) at a rate of 1.1 km/year, yet its median stabilized at ~13 km. No haze days occurred when the 24-hr mean PM_(2.5)mass concentration was below 75 μg/m^3. By multiple linear regression on the chemical budget of particle scattering coefficient(b sp), we obtained site-specific mass scattering efficiency(MSE) values of 6.5 ± 0.2, 2.6 ± 0.3, 2.4 ± 0.7 and 7.3 ± 1.2 m2/g,respectively, for organic matter(OM), ammonium sulfate(AS), ammonium nitrate(AN) and sea salt(SS). The reconstructed light extinction coefficient(b ext) based on the Interagency Monitoring of Protected Visual Environments(IMPROVE) algorithm with our site-specific MSE revealed that OM, AS, AN, SS and light-absorbing carbon(LAC) on average contributed 45.9% ± 1.6%,25.6% ± 1.2%, 12.0% ± 0.7%, 11.2% ± 0.9% and 5.4% ± 0.3% to light extinction, respectively.Averaged b ext displayed a significant reduction rate of 14.1/Mm·year(p < 0.05); this rate would be 82% higher if it were not counteracted by increasing relative humidity(RH) and hygroscopic growth factor(f(RH)) at rates of 2.5% and 0.16/year-1(p < 0.01), respectively, during the fall–winter, 2007–2013. 7Characteristics of rare-earth elements (REE),strontium and neodymium isotopes in hydrothermal fluorites from the Bailashui tin deposit in the Furong ore field,southern Hunan Province,China显示文摘In this paper the authors present the REE concentrations and Sr and Nd isotopic compositions of fluorites from the Bailashui tin deposit of the Furong ore field,southern Hunan Province. The results showed that the total amount of REE in fluorites is usually low,ranging from 0.705 to 8.785 μg/g with the chondrite-normalized REE dis-tribution patterns similar to those of the Qitianling granites in the study area,characterized by LREE-enrichment patterns with pronounced negative Eu anomalies. The fluorites vary in Sr isotopic composition within the range of 0.7083-0.7091,the values are lower than those of the granites and higher than those of the host carbonate rocks in this area. The εNd(t) values of fluorites vary between -9.4 and +10.3,revealing that both the crust-and mantle-source materials were involved in the ore-forming hydrothermal fluids. Combined with previous studies on this ore deposit,the Bailashui tin deposit is temporally and spatially closely related with granitic magmatism in this area. The hydro-thermal fluorites are the product of fluid/rock interactions between granitic magmatic hydrothermal fluid and marine carbonate rocks. The REE and F in the ore-forming fluid were derived from the granites,whereas Sr in the ore-forming fluid came mainly from the granitic magmatic hydrothermal fluid and marine carbonate rocks,although variations in Sr isotopic composition cannot be explained by a simple mixture of these two end-members. 9The HuangZaoSi Maize Genome Provides Insights into Genomic Variation and Improvement History of Maize显示文摘Maize is a globally important crop that was a classic model plant for genetic studies. Here, we report a 2.2 Gb draft genome sequence of an elite maize line, HuangZaoSi (HZS). Hybrids bred from HZS-improved lines (HILs) are planted in more than 60% of maize fields in China. Proteome clustering of six completed sequeneed maize genomes show that 638 proteins fall into 264 HZS-specific gene families with the majority of contributions from tandem duplication events. Resequencing and comparative analysis of 40 HZSrelated lines reveals the breeding history of HILs. More than 60% of identified selective sweeps were clustered in identity.by.descent conserved regions, and yield-related genes/QTLs were enriched in HZS characteristic selected regions. Furthermore, we dem on strated that HZS-specific family genes were not uniformly distributed in the genome but enriched in improvement/function.related genomic regions. 10Effect of BN52021 on NFκ-Bp65 expression in pancreatic tissues of rats with severe acute pancreatitis显示文摘AIM: To investigate dynamic changes and significance of expression of NF-κBp65 in pancreatic tissues of rats with severe acute pancreatitis (SAP), as well as BN52021 effects. METHODS: Wistar male rats were randomly divided into negative control group (NC group, n = 60), SAP-model group (SAP group, n = 60), and BN52021-treated group (BN group, n = 60), and each of the above groups was respectively divided into 6 subgroups at different time points after operation (1 h, 2 h, 3 h, 6 h, 12 h, and 24 h) (n = 10). By RT-PCR and Western blot, NF-κBp65 mRNA and its protein expression in pancreatic tissues of rats were detected respectively. RESULTS: The expression of NF-κBp65 mRNA dynamically changed in both SAP groups and BN groups. The mRNA level was higher in SAP groups than NC groups at 2 h, 3 h, 12 h, and 24 h after operation (P < 0.05), higher in BN groups than NC groups at all time points (P < 0.05), and higher in BN groups than SAP group at 1 h (P < 0.05). The NF-κBp65 protein level was higher in SAP groups than NC groups at 1 h, 3 h, and 6 h (P < 0.01), and 2 h, 12 h, and 24 h (P < 0.05), higher in BN groups than NC groups at all time points (P < 0.05), and lower in BN groups than SAP groups at 1 h, 3 h, and 6 h (P < 0.05). CONCLUSION: The expression of NF-κBp65 in pancreatic tissues is dynamically changed and the changes play an important role in pathogenesis of SAP. 11VIBRATION CHARACTERISTICS OF FLUID-STRUCTURE INTERACTION OF CONICAL SPIRAL TUBE BUNDLE显示文摘Heat transfer enhancement is achieved by flow-induced vibration in elastic tube bundles heat exchangers.For a further understanding of heat transfer enhancement mechanism and tube structure optimization,it is of importance to study the vibration characteristics of fluid-structure interaction of tube bundles.The finite element method is applied in the study of fluid-structure interaction of a new type elastic heat transfer element,i.e.,the dimensional conical spiral tube bundle.The vibration equation and element matrix for the tube are set up by the regulation of different helical angles and coordinate transformation,together with the simplification of the joint body of the two pipes.The vibration characteristics of conical spiral tube bundle are analyzed at different velocities of the tube-side flow,and the critical velocity of vibration buckling is obtained.The results show that the natural frequency of the tube bundle decreases as the flow speed increases,especially for the first order frequency,and the critical velocity of vibration buckling is between 1.2665 m/s-1.2669 m/s.The vibration mode of conical spiral tube bundle is mainly z-axial,which is feasible to be induced and controlled.YAN Ke GE Pei-qi BI Wen-bo SU Yan-cai HU Rui-rong 2010Journal of Hydrodynamics2010,22,1:13
12Clinical characteristics and effectiveness of antiviral agents in hospitalized children with infectious mononucleosis in China:A multicenter retrospective study显示文摘Importance:The clinical characteristics of infectious mononucleosis(IM)in Chinese children have not been evaluated in multicenter studies,and the effectiveness of antiviral treatment are controversial.Objective:To investigate the clinical characteristics of Chinese children with IM and current status of antiviral therapy for affected patients.Methods:Hospitalized patients with IM were enrolled between 2018 and 2020 in five children’s hospitals in China.The clinical characteristics were compared among four age groups:<3 years,3-<6 years,6-<10 years,and≥10 years.The clinical characteristics of IM and effectiveness of antiviral therapy were compared among patients receiving acyclovir(ACV),ganciclovir(GCV),and no antiviral therapy(i.e.,non-antiviral group).Results:In total,499 patients were analyzed;most patients were 3-<6 years of age.The most common symptoms and signs included fever(100%),lymphadenopathy(98.6%),pharyngitis(86.4%),eyelid edema(76.8%),and snoring(72.9%).There were significant differences in rash,hepatomegaly,and liver dysfunction among the four age groups.Patients aged<3 years had a lower incidence of liver dysfunction and a higher incidence of rash.Among the 499 patients,50.1%were treated with GCV,26.3%were treated with ACV,and 23.6%received no antiviral therapy.Compared with the non-antiviral group,patients in the ACV and GCV groups had longer durations of fever(P<0.001).There were no significant differences in the incidences of complications among the three treatment groups.Interpretation:The incidence of IM in Chinese children peaked at 3-<6 years of age.Clinical features of IM varied according to age.Patients receiving antiviral therapy exhibited more serious clinical manifestations than did patients without antiviral therapy.The effectiveness of antiviral therapy for IM requires further analysis.Huili Hu Huiling Deng Jing Bi Yi Xu Shuangjie Li Yue Xie Xinrong Sun Dongmeng Wang Xufang Li Wenxian Ouyang Bing Hu Yufeng Zhang He Tang Chunxiao Fang Hui Zhang Lingyun Guo Chen Wang Tianyi Wang Fengxia Yang Tao Jiang Zhengde Xie Gang Liu 2021Pediatric Investigation2021,5,3:12

15REE geochemical characteristics of the No. 302 uranium deposit in northern Guangdong, South China显示文摘The No. 302 uranium deposit, located in Guangdong Province, is a typical granite-type uranium ore deposit. REE geochemical characteristics of the wall rocks, pitchblende, altered rocks, calcite and fluorite from this deposit have been systematically studied in this paper. The result showed that the alkali-metasomatic granites and other altered rocks have the same REE distribution patterns as Indosinian granites. It is indicated that the hydrothermal ore-forming solution had altered the Indosinian granites, and ore-forming materials may directly originate from the Indosinian granites. Calcite and fluorite of different stages are the products derived from the same source but different stages. The evolution and degassing of the mineralizing solution might induce LREE enrichment to varying degree. Mantle fluid and a large volume of mineralizer may be the crucial factors controlling uranium mineralization, and the hydrothermal solution with mineralizer played an important role in U transport and concentration. 16Genetic variation of Laminaria japonica (Phaeophyta) populations in China as revealed by RAPD markers显示文摘For the population genetics analysis of the naturally grown brown seaweed Laminaria japonica (Laminariales,Phaeophyta) sampled from Dalian,Yantai,Weihai,Rongcheng and Qingdao in China,ten primers were employed to produce 88 bands as revealed by randomly amplified polymorphic DNA (RAPD) markers,and all these bands were polymorphic.According to these band patterns,there were 94 distinct phenotypes occurred in 100 samples indicating the high heterozygosity of this kelp.Dalian population samples showed the highest percentage of polymorphism (71.67%),and also the higher diversity estimated on the basis of the Shannon’s index (8.498),suggesting that this population could be chosen as the best resource for genetic breeding.The highest diversity of Yantai population possibly resulted from the introduction of L.longissima used for interspecific cross breeding with L.japonica cultivated in China.From Dalian southwards to Qingdao,the genetic variation of the five populations became less with a decrease in latitude,possibly due to the natural selection especially of high temperature.The genetic distance (Φ ST values) of the five populations was a little significantly correlated with the geographical distance (r=0.496) at P =0.05 by Mantel’s test.Weihai,Rongcheng and Yantai populations were closely grouped genetically together by Neighbor-joining cluster analysis probably in that the dispersal of the kelp by propagules more easily occurring in the range of relatively short distance.The analysis of molecular variance (AMOVA) also demonstrated that the relatively higher variation occurred among populations (71.49%) at an extremely significant level (P <0.000 1).All these evidence showed that there was a relatively distinct genetic differentiation among the sampled kelp populations,and L.japonica grown in China was also rather heterozygous in heredity.BI Yanhui HU Yuanjie ZHOU Zhigang 2011Acta Oceanologica Sinica2011,30,2:7

18OpenKG Chain:A Blockchain Infrastructure for Open Knowledge Graphs显示文摘The early concept of knowledge graph originates from the idea of the semantic Web,which aims at using structured graphs to model the knowledge of the world and record the relationships that exist between things.Currently publishing knowledge bases as open data on the Web has gained significant attention.In China,Chinese Information Processing Society of China(CIPS)launched the OpenKG in 2015 to foster the development of Chinese Open Knowledge Graphs.Unlike existing open knowledge-based programs,OpenKG chain is envisioned as a blockchain-based open knowledge infrastructure.This article introduces the first attempt at the implementation of sharing knowledge graphs on OpenKG chain,a blockchain-based trust network.We have completed the test of the underlying blockchain platform,and the on-chain test of OpenKG’s data set and tool set sharing as well as fine-grained knowledge crowdsourcing at the triple level.We have also proposed novel definitions:K-Point and OpenKG Token,which can be considered to be a measurement of knowledge value and user value.1,033 knowledge contributors have been involved in two months of testing on the blockchain,and the cumulative number of on-chain recordings triggered by real knowledge consumers has reached 550,000 with an average daily peak value of more than 10,000.For the first time,we have tested and realized on-chain sharing of knowledge at entity/triple granularity level.At present,all operations on the data sets and tool sets at OpenKG.CN,as well as the triplets at OpenBase,are recorded on the chain,and corresponding value will also be generated and assigned in a trusted mode.Via this effort,OpenKG chain looks forward to providing a more credible and traceable knowledge-sharing platform for the knowledge graph community.Huajun Chen Ning Hu Guilin Qi Haofen Wang Zhen Bi Jie Li Fan Yang 2021Data Intelligence2021,3,2:7
19Boron modulating electronic structure of FeN4C to initiate high-efficiency oxygen reduction reaction and high-performance zinc-air battery显示文摘The biggest challenge is to develop a low cost and readily available catalyst to replace expensive commercial Pt/C for efficient electrochemical oxygen reduction reaction(ORR).In this research,closo-[B_(12)H_(12)]^(2−)and 1,10-phenanthroline-iron complexes were introduced into the porous metal-organic framework by impregnation method,and further annealing treatment achieved the successful anchoring of single-atom-Fe in B-doped CN Matrix(FeN4CB).The ORR activity of FeN4CB is comparable to the widely used commercial 20 wt%Pt/C.Where the half-wave potential(E_(1/2))in alkaline medium up to 0.84 V,and even in the face of challenging ORR in acidic medium,the E_(1/2)of ORR driven by FeN4CB is still as high as 0.81 V.When FeN4CB was used as air cathode,the open circuit voltage of Zn-air battery reaches 1.435 V,and the power density and specific capacity are as high as 177 mW cm^(−2)and 800 mAh g_(Zn)^(−1)(theoretical value:820 mAh g_(Zn)^(−1)),respectively.The dazzling point of FeN4CB also appears in the high ORR stability,whether in alkaline or acidic media,E_(1/2)and limiting current density are still close to the initial value after 5000 times cycles.After continuously running the charge-discharge test for 220 h,the charge voltage and discharge voltage of the rechargeable zinc-air battery with FeN4CB as the air cathode maintained the initial state.Density functional theory calculations reveals that introducing B atom to Fe–N4–C can adjust the electronic structure to easily break O=O bond and significantly reduce the energy barrier of the rate-determining step resulting in an improved ORR activity.Xue Zhao Xue Li Zenghui Bi Yuwen Wang Haibo Zhang Xiaohai Zhou Quan Wang Yingtang Zhou Huaisheng Wang Guangzhi Hu 2022Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,3:6
20Ge-rich hydrothermal solutions and abnormal enrichment of Ge in coal显示文摘AT present, the main source of germanium includes two types of ore deposits: some sulfide-rich Pb, Zn,Cu, Ag and An deposits and some coal deposits. Germanium occurs as an associated element in these oredeposits. The Lincang germanium deposit discovered recently in China occurs in a basin where there areexposed the Neogene coal-bearing clastic rocks with Indosinian Ge-rich ((1.9-5.0)×10-6) granitesas the basement in Lincang County, Yunnan Province. Germanium is mainly concentrated in the coalseams of the first coal-bearing horizon (Nth2) and in regard to its grade (normally n×100×10-6 with themaximum over 1000×10-6) and scale (the proven reserve about 800 t), no such germanium mineralization has been reported so far in other parts of the world. What is the reason? The available studies have indicated that this germanium deposit is of epigenetic origin, whichdetermines that germanium must have been transferred into coal with the help of a kind of medium.
