| 1 | Distribution,formation and evolution of sand ridges on the East China Sea shelf显示文摘Based on the integrated results of multiple data types including MBES (Multi-Beam Echo Sounding) and historical topography maps,the LSR (Linear Sand Ridges) on the ECS (East China Sea) shelf are identified,divided into subareas,and classified.The distribution of sand ridge crests is also established.The strikes of the LSR on the ECS shelf fall in a normal distribution with the center point being 155° azimuth with additional peak points at 125°,130°,140°,and 180° azimuth.The distribution of the ECS shelf sand ridges is congested in the central area,sparse in the south and north ends,divergent and bifurcated in the eastern area,and densely convergent in the western area.The LSR are divided into seven subzones according to the strikes and distribution of the sand ridges;estuary mouth ridges and open shelf sand ridges are identified and marked out.The high amplitude change of sea level resulting from the glacial-interglacial cycle is the main cause of the vast development of sand ridges on the ECS shelf.Abundant sediments on the shelf carried by the PYR (Paleo-Yangtze River) are the material source for the LSR formation,and the negative seafloor topography influences the strikes of LSR.Based on the effects of LSR distribution,change of sea level,and the simulation of ancient tidal currents,the evolution of the LSR on the ECS shelf is divided into four main stages:Stage Ⅰ before 14.5 ka BP,Stage Ⅱ between 12 and 14 ka BP,Stage Ⅲ from 1.5 to 9.5 ka BP,and Stage Ⅳ after 9 ka BP. | WU ZiYin JIN XiangLong CAO ZhenYi LI JiaBiao ZHENG YuLong SHANG JiHong | 2010 | Science China Earth Sciences2010,53,1: | 9 |

| 4 | KLF17 promotes human naive pluripotency through repressing MAPK3 and ZIC2显示文摘The pluripotent state of embryonic stem cells(ESCs)is regulated by a sophisticated network of transcription factors.High expression of KLF17 has recently been identified as a hallmark of naive state of human ESCs(h ESCs).However,the functional role of KLF17 in naive state is not clear.Here,by employing various gain and loss-of-function approaches,we demonstrate that KLF17 is essential for the maintenance of naive state and promotes the primed to naive state transition in h ESCs.Mechanistically,we identify MAPK3 and ZIC2 as two direct targets repressed by KLF17.Overexpression of MAPK3 or ZIC2 partially blocks KLF17 from promoting the naive pluripotency.Furthermore,we find that human and mouse homologs of KLF17 retain conserved functions in promoting naive pluripotency of both species.Finally,we show that Klf17 may be essential for early embryo development in mouse.These findings demonstrate the important and conserved function of KLF17 in promoting naive pluripotency and reveal two essential transcriptional targets of KLF17 that underlie its function. | Shao-Hua Wang Jing Hao Chao Zhang Fei-Fei Duan Ya-Tzu Chiu Ming Shi Xin Huang Jihong Yang Huiqing Cao Yangming Wang | 2022 | Science China(Life Sciences)2022,65,10: | 2 |

| 6 | Tropical and Subtropical Urban Landscape Plant Cultivation in Southwest China—A Case Study of Honghe Hani and Yi Nationality Autonomous Prefecture显示文摘By studying current seedling production in Honghe Hani and Yi Nationality Autonomous Prefecture, tropical and subtropical urban landscape plant production in southwest China was analyzed. Local nurseries total 6.40 km 2 , accounting for 5.1% of total constructed land area in the prefecture, and only 0.02% of the total land area in the prefecture. Application of local plant species in landscape engineering and green coverage ratio lags far behind the indexes of Chinese livable city and indexes of relieving urban heat island effect. | 14 | Na_(2)O/Li_(2)O Ratio Dependency on the Thermal,Mechanical,Dielectric Properties and Chemical Stabilities of Li_(2)O-Al_(2)O_(3)-SiO_(2) Glass显示文摘Li_(2)O-Al_(2)O_(3)-SiO_(2) based glasses were investigated as potential protection glass for electronic devices due to their excellent mechanical properties,such as high hardness,toughness,and scratch resistance.In this paper,Li_(2)O-Na_(2)O-Al_(2)O_(3)-SiO_(2) glass with different Li_(2)O/Na_(2)O ratio components were prepared by meltquenching method,and the effects of Na_(2)O/Li_(2)O ratio on the glass densities,structure,thermal,mechanical properties,and chemical stabilities were studied.The experimental results indicate that the glass transition temperature increases with the increases in Na_(2)O/Li_(2)O ratios,due to larger ion radius.While the thermal expansion coefficient slightly decreases from 11.4×10^(-6) to 11.09×10^(-6)/℃.The elastic modulus increases from 57 to 72 GPa.The bending strength reaches maximum 80.90 MPa when the Na_(2)O/Li_(2)O ratio is 1.7,then decreases as the ratio further increases.In addition,the Vicker’s hardness gets to 7.37 GPa with largest Na_(2)O/Li_(2)O ratio.Moreover,the dielectric loss and dielectric constant increases as the ratio increases.The Raman structure analysis shows the Q4[Si-O-Si]decreases as Na_(2)O/Li_(2)O ratio increases,which is responsible for the characteristic properties change.Moreover,the glass shows lowest mass loss in 10vol%HF solutions when the ratio is 1.4,while 1.7 in 5wt%NaOH solution. | 陈丽娜 谢俊 WANG Mingzhong CAO Shiyi CUI Xiuzhen LIANG Xinhui ZHANG Jihong HAN Jianjun HU Kaiwen | 2022 | Journal of Wuhan University of Technology(Materials Science)2022,37,6: | 0 |

| 17 | The roles of phosphate in shaping the structure and dynamics of Antarctic soil microbiomes显示文摘One major consequence of global warming in the Antarctic region is increased ice-free zones.Subsequent colonization of these ice-free areas by penguins alters their biogeochemistry,with one prominent example being elevation of inorganic phosphate concentrations around feces depositions.The complex soil biochemistry in the region makes it difficult to define the causal factors of these changes using common research approaches.Here,we addressed the effects of phosphate alone on microbiome structure and dynamics over time by adding external phosphate to selected soils in the Antarctic region.We then analyzed the soil bacterial community composition and diversity using 16S rRNA amplicon sequencing and compared these data with phosphate levels.Parallel geochemical analysis revealed changes in nine soil geochemical factors upon phosphate addition,all of which were relevant to microbiome structure,with soil pH showing the highest correlation.Links between geochemical factors and composition were identified,as were interactions between bacterial taxa.Additionally,Sphingobacteriia,Sphingobacteriales and Chitinophagaceae were found to be more abundant in phosphate-treated soils.Co-occurrence network analysis revealed significantly increased levels of associations in all major network properties over time after phosphate supplementation.Therefore,we conclude phosphate addition has diverse effects on Antarctic soil microbiomes. | TAN Jiankang CAO Huansheng LIU Li QIN Yiling LIU Feng John CAVA YIN Xiaofei SHEN Jihong WANG Nengfei | 2023 | Advances in Polar Science2023,34,1: | 0 |
| 18 | ZmMYC7 directly regulates ZmERF147 to increase maize resistance to Fusarium graminearum显示文摘The jasmonic acid(JA)signaling pathway is involved in plant growth,development,and response to abiotic or biotic stresses.MYC2,a bHLH transcription factor,is a regulatory hub in the pathway.The function of ZmMYC7,a putative MYC2 ortholog,in jasmonate-signaled defense responses of maize has not been reported.In this study,we found that ZmMYC7 possesses JID,TAD,bHLH and Zip domains and essential characteristics of transcription factors:a nuclear location and transactivation activity.The ZmMYC7mutants showed markedly increased sensitivity to Fusarium graminearum and Setosphaeria turcica.The expression levels of the defense-associated genes ZmPR1,ZmPR2,ZmPR3,ZmPR5,ZmPR6,and ZmPR7 in response to F.graminearum infection were downregulated in ZmMYC7 mutants,while ZmPR4 and ZmPR10 were up-regulated.ZmMYC7 interacted with members of the ZmJAZ family,including ZmJAZ8,ZmJAZ11,and ZmJAZ12.ZmMYC7 physically interacted with G-box cis-elements in the ZmERF147 promoter in vitro and transcriptional activation of ZmERF147 by ZmMYC7 was inhibited by ZmJAZ11 and ZmJAZ12.ZmERF147 mutants were more susceptible to F.graminearum infection than inbred line B73with concomitant down-regulation of all defense-associated ZmPRs except ZmPR4.These findings indicate that ZmMYC7 functions in maize resistance to F.graminearum and sheds light on maize defense responses to pathogenic fungi via the JA signaling pathway. | Hongzhe Cao Kang Zhang Wei Li Xi Pang Pengfei Liu Helong Si Jinping Zang Jihong Xing Jingao Dong | 2023 | The Crop Journal2023,11,1: | 0 |
