1Coordinated flight control of miniature fixed-wing UAV swarms: methods and experiments显示文摘In this paper,we present our recent advances in both theoretical methods and field experiments for the coordinated control of miniature fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)swarms.We propose a multi-layered group-based architecture,which is modularized,mission-oriented,and can implement large-scale swarms.To accomplish the desired coordinated formation flight,we present a novel distributed coordinated-control scheme comprising a consensus-based circling rendezvous,a coordinated path-following control for the leader UAVs,and a leader-follower coordinated control for the follower UAVs.The current framework embeds a formation pattern reconfiguration technique.Moreover,we discuss two security solutions(inter-UAV collision avoidance and obstacle avoidance)in the swarm flight problem.The effectiveness of the proposed coordinated control methods was demonstrated in field experiments by deploying up to 21 fixed-wing UAVs.Xiangke WANG Lincheng SHEN Zhihong LIU Shulong ZHAO Yirui CONG Zhongkui LI Shengde JIA Hao CHEN Yangguan YU Yuan CHANG Yajing WANG 2019Science China(Information Sciences)2019,62,11:21

3Comparison of cryoballoon ablation for atrial fibrillation guided by real-time three-dimensional transesophageal echocardiography vs. contrast agent injection显示文摘Background:Pulmonary vein (PV) occlusion generally depends on repetitive contrast agent injection when cryoballoon ablation for atrial fibrillation (AF). The present study was to compare the effect of cryoballoon ablation for AF guided by transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) vs. contrast agent injection.Methods:Eighty patients with paroxysmal AF (PAF) were enrolled in the study. About 40 patients underwent cryoballoon ablation without TEE (non-TEE group) and the other 40 underwent cryoballoon ablation with TEE for PV occlusion (TEE group). In the TEE group during the procedure, PVs were displayed in 3-dimensional images to guide the balloon to achieve PV occlusion. The patients were followed up at regularly scheduled visits every 2 months.Results:No differences were identified between the groups in regard to the procedure time and cryoablation time for each PV. The fluoroscopy time (6.7±4.2 min vs. 17.9±5.9 min, P<0.05) and the amount of contrast agent (3.0±5.1 mL vs.18.1±3.4 mL, P<0.05) in the TEE group were both less than the non-TEE group. At a mean of 13.0±3.3 mon follow-up, success rates were similar between the TEE group and non-TEE group (77.5% vs. 80.0%, P=0.88).Conclusions:Cryoballoon ablation with TEE for occlusion of the PV is both safe and effective. 6Validity of the Chinese Version of the Patient-Generated Subjective Global Assessment (PG-SGA) in Lung Cancer Patients显示文摘The prevalence of malnutrition is high among oncology patients in China. Although the Patient- Generated Subjective Global Assessment (PG-SGA) is widely recognized as an important nutritional assessment tool, it has not been validated for Chinese cancer patients. The purpose of this study was to conduct an analysis of nutrition screening and assessment data to validate the Chinese version of the PG-SGA in Chinese patients with lung cancer. This was an observational, cross-sectional study of 2,000 consecutive adult patients with lung cancer treated at several tertiary hospitals in China. Anthropometric and patient descriptive data were collected. The PG-SGA generated a score for the nutritional risk and a global rating for the nutritional status. The internal consistency, external consistency, and construct validity were evaluated, and a known-groups comparison and principal component analyses were conducted to evaluate the reliability and validity of the PG-SGA. The known-groups comparison demonstrated the ability of the PG-SGA to differentiate lung cancer patients of different nutritional and body mass index (BMI) groups. A confirmatory factor analysis supported the original four-factor structure of the PG-SGA. In terms of the internal and external consistency, the PG-SGA demonstrated intra-class correlation coefficients (ICC) up to 0.987. Alternative form validity was also demonstrated between Box 4 of the PG-SGA and the Karnofsky Performance Status score, with excellent external consistency (r = 0.972, P < 0.001). The construct validity was supported, and selected questionnaire dimensions were evident in the principal component analysis. Significant Spearman correlations (P < 0.001) were demonstrated. The Chinese version of the PG-SGA demonstrated significant reliability and sufficient exploratory properties to support its validity. It seems to be a valid tool that can be used to access the nutritional status of Chinese lung cancer patients. 7Infective viruses produced from full-length complementary DNA of swine vesicular disease viruses HK/70 strain显示文摘The full-length cDNA clone of swine vesicular disease virus HK/70 strain named pSVOK12 was constructed in order to study the antigenicity, replication, maturation and pathogenicity of swine vesicular disease virus. In vitro transcription RNA from pSVOK12 transfected IBRS-2 cells and the re- covered virus RNA were isolated and sequenced, then indirect hemagglutination test, indirect im- munofluorescence assays, eleectron microscope test, 50% tissue culture infecting dose (TCID50) assays and mouse virulence studies were performed to study the antigenicity and virulence of the recovered virus. The result showed that the infectious clones we ob- tained and the virus derived from pSVOK12 had the same biological properties as the parental strain HK/70. 8Application of VP1 Protein to Develop Monoclonal Antibody against Foot-and-mouth Disease Virus Asia1 Type显示文摘In order to develop an anti-FMDV Asia1 type monoclonal antibody(mAb) ,BABL/c mice were immunized with recombinant FMDV VP1 protein. Three mAbs,1B8,5E1 and 5E2,were then further optimized. The result indicated that prepared anti-FMDV Asia1 mAbs had no cross-reactivity with Swine vesicular disease(SVD) and FMDV O,A and C type antigen. Their titers in abdomen liquor were 1:5×106,1:2×106 and 1:5×106,respectively. 1B8 was found to be of IgG1 subtype,5E1 and 5E2 belonged to IgG2b subtype. 9Validity of the Chinese Version of the Patient-Generated Subjective Global Assessment (PG-SGA) in Gastric Cancer Patients显示文摘Purpose Malnutrition is severe among gastric cancer patients in China. While the Patient-Generated Subjective Global Assessment (PG-SGA) is a widely used nutritional assessment tool, the validation for Chinese patients with gastric cancer has not been performed yet. The aim of this research is to validate the Chinese version of the PGSGA in Chinese gastric cancer patients by conducting analyses of nutrition screening and assessment data. Methods Two thousand consecutive adult patients with gastric cancer were included in this observational, cross-sectional study in several tertiary hospitals in China. A survey was made among those patients, which included several questionnaires and some anthropometric parameters. We calculated the parameters to validate the use of PG-SGA categorizing the nutritional status of gastric cancer patients. Then we performed statistical analysis to evaluate the internal consistency, external consistency, and construct validity. Results This study verified the ability of the PG-SGA to differentiate gastric cancer patients into different nutritional groups. The confirmatory factor analysis verified the original four-factor structure of the PG-SGA. The internal and external consistency was measured by a concordance analysis which showed an intraclass correlation coefficients (ICC) of 0.987. The correlations of the Box 4 score with the Karnofsky performance status score demonstrated alternative form validity with good external consistency (Pearson, r = 0.643, P < 0.001). All three anthropometric dimensions of the PG-SGA were supported by principal component analysis. Spearman correlations (P < 0.001) were significant in the majority of tests. 10Light carbon isotope events of foraminifera attributed to methane release from gas hydrates on the continental slope, northeastern South China Sea显示文摘In 2013, the China Geological Survey and Guangzhou Marine Geological Survey conducted the second Chinese gas hydrate expedition in the northern South China Sea(SCS) and successfully obtained visible gas hydrate samples. Five of the thirteen drilling sites were cored for further research. In this work, Site GMGS2-08 is selected for the stable isotopic analysis of foraminifera present in the boreholes in order to reveal the carbon isotopic characteristics of the foraminifera and their response to methane release in the gas hydrate geological system. Our results show that the methane content at Site GMGS2-08 is extremely high, with headspace methane concentrations up to 39300 μmol L^(-1). The hydrocarbon δ^(13)C values, ranging from-69.4‰ to-72.3‰ PDB, distinctly indicate biogenic generation. Based on the δD analytical results(^(-1)83‰ to^(-1)85‰ SMOW), headspace methane is further discriminated to be microbial gas, derived from CO_2 reduction. By isotopic measurement, five light δ^(13)C events are found in the boreholes from Site GMGS2-08, with foraminiferal δ^(13)C values being apparently lower than the normal variation range found in the glacial-interglacial cycles of the SCS. The δ^(13)C values of benthic Uvigerina peregrina are extremely depleted(as low as^(-1)5.85‰ PDB), while those of planktonic Globigerinoides ruber reach-5.68‰ PDB. Scanning electron micrograph(SEM) studies show that foraminiferal tests have experienced post-depositional alteration, infilled with authigenic carbonate, and the diagenetic mineralization is unlikely to be related to the burial depths. The correlation calculation suggests that the anaerobic oxidation of organic matter has only weak influences on the δ^(13)C composition of benthic foraminifera. This means that the anomalous δ^(13)C depletions are predominantly attributed to the overprinting of secondary carbonates derived from the anaerobic oxidation of methane(AOM). 12Differences in the Efficiency of Potassium(K) Uptake and Use in Five Apple Rootstock Genotypes显示文摘Plants that grow well while accumulating and transporting less potassium(K) perform better than more-sensitive plants when under deficiency conditions, which makes low-K-input and environmentally friendly agriculture possible. We conducted hydroponics and sand culture experiments to evaluate the efficiency of various apple(Malus domestica Borkh) rootstocks in their K uptake and utilization. Five genotypes were selected which are widely used in China- M. hupehensis Rehd, M. prunifolia Borkh, M. robusta Rehd, M. sieversii Roem, and M. rockii Rehd. Plant heights, root and shoot dry weights, and K concentrations were recorded. These genotypes differed markedly in dry weights, absolute and relative K concentrations, absolute and relative K accumulations, and their K efficiency ratio under deficient K conditions. The last parameter, expressed as relative shoot dry weight, was strongly and positively correlated with the other four parameters in each genotype. Therefore, we suggest that this parameter could serve as an index when selecting K-efficient genotypes. 17Seg-CapNet:A Capsule-Based Neural Network for the Segmentation of Left Ventricle from Cardiac Magnetic Resonance Imaging显示文摘Deep neural networks(DNNs)have been extensively studied in medical image segmentation.However,existing DNNs often need to train shape models for each object to be segmented,which may yield results that violate cardiac anatomical structure when segmenting cardiac magnetic resonance imaging(MRI).In this paper,we propose a capsulebased neural network,named Seg-CapNet,to model multiple regions simultaneously within a single training process.The Seg-CapNet model consists of the encoder and the decoder.The encoder transforms the input image into feature vectors that represent objects to be segmented by convolutional layers,capsule layers,and fully-connected layers.And the decoder transforms the feature vectors into segmentation masks by up-sampling.Feature maps of each down-sampling layer in the encoder are connected to the corresponding up-sampling layers,which are conducive to the backpropagation of the model.The output vectors of Seg-CapNet contain low-level image features such as grayscale and texture,as well as semantic features including the position and size of the objects,which is beneficial for improving the segmentation accuracy.The proposed model is validated on the open dataset of the Automated Cardiac Diagnosis Challenge 2017(ACDC 2017)and the Sunnybrook Cardiac Magnetic Resonance Imaging(MRI)segmentation challenge.Experimental results show that the mean Dice coefficient of Seg-CapNet is increased by 4.7%and the average Hausdorff distance is reduced by 22%.The proposed model also reduces the model parameters and improves the training speed while obtaining the accurate segmentation of multiple regions.Yang-Jie Cao Shuang Wu Chang Liu Nan Lin Yuan Wang Cong Yang Jie Li 2021Journal of Computer Science & Technology2021,36,2:3
18Adjuvant Effects of Dual Co-stimulatory Molecules on Cellular Responses to HIV Multiple-epitope DNA Vaccination显示文摘Designing adjuvants that can induce strong cytotoxic T cell responses is largely required for preparing DNA vaccines. In this study we explored dual costimulatory molecules 4-1BBL and OX40L as adjuvants to improve the efficiency of the HIV multiple-epitope DNA vaccine. When explored in the human dendritic cell-T cell based coculture system,dual costimulatory molecules significantly enhanced the anti-HIV T cell response of the HIV mul-tiple-epitope DNA vaccine,as detected by intracellular cytokine staining to HIV antigens,cytokines accumulation in the cultures,and antigen-specific cytotoxic T lymphocyte responses. 19Effect of mold rotation on inclusion distribution in bearing steel during electroslag remelting process显示文摘To remove the inclusions in the ingots by conventional electroslag remelting(ESR), the bearing steel was prepared using ESR process but with mold rotation in this study. Experimental results show a reduction in amount of large inclusions when the mold rotation rate is 6 r·min-1, and the inclusions are uniformly distributed in the ESR ingot. As comparison with the electroslag ingots of conventional ESR(stationary mold), the portion of the Al2O3 inclusions smaller than 1 μm in size increase from 38% to 41.4%, whereas that of the SiO2 inclusions increases from 48% to 74% in the ingots when mold rotation is applied. This phenomenon is caused by the decrease in metal droplet size, resulting in large contact area between the slag pool and metal droplets in ESR process with mold rotation. Moreover, the metal droplets have relatively long movement routes, leading to long metal contact time between the slag pool and metal droplets when a relative motion between the consumable electrodes and mold is present. However, when the mold rotation rate is increased to 45 r·min-1, inclusion removing effect decreases. 20Ultra-small hollow ternary alloy nanoparticles for efficient hydrogen evolution reaction显示文摘Hollow nanoparticles with large specific surface area and high atom utilization are promising catalysts for the hydrogen evolution reaction(HER). We describe herein the design and synthesis of a series of ultra-small hollow ternary alloy nanostructures using a simple one-pot strategy. The same technique was demonstrated for hollow PtNiCu nanoparticles, hollow PtCoCu nanoparticles and hollow CuNiCo nanoparticles. During synthesis, the displacement reaction and oxidative etching played important roles in the formation of hollow structures. Moreover, our hollow PtNiCu and PtCoCu nanoparticles were single crystalline, with an average diameter of 5 nm. Impressively, ultra-small hollow PtNiCu nanoparticles,containing only 10% Pt, exhibited greater electrocatalytic HER activity and stability than a commercial Pt/C catalyst. The overpotential of hollow Pt Ni Cu nanoparticles at 10 mA cm^(-2) was 28 mV versus reversible hydrogen electrode(RHE). The mass activity was 4.54 A mg Pt^(-1) at-70 mV versus RHE, which is 5.62-fold greater than that of a commercial Pt/C system(0.81 A mg Pt^(-1)). Through analyses of bonding and antibonding orbital filling, density functional theory calculations demonstrated that the bonding strength of different metals to the hydrogen intermediate(H*) was in the order of Pt > Co > Ni > Cu. The excellent HER performance of our hollow PtNiCu nanoparticles derives from moderately synergistic interactions between the three metals and H*.
