| 1 | The recommendations of Chinese Parkinson’s disease and movement disorder society consensus on therapeutic management of Parkinson’s disease显示文摘Background:Parkinson’s disease(PD)is a chronic,progressive and debilitating disease,which affects over 2.5 million people in China.PD is characterized clinically by resting tremor,muscular rigidity,bradykinesia and postural instability.As the disease progresses,additional complications can arise such as non-motor and neurobehavioral symptoms.Pharmacological treatment and surgical intervention for PD have been implemented in China.Until 10 years ago,there was lack of standardization for the management of PD in different regions and among different physicians,leading to different treatment levels in different regions and different physicians.Since then,the Chinese Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorder Society have published three versions of guidelines for the management of PD in China,in 2006,2009 and 2014,respectively.Correspondingly,the overall level of treatment for PD in China improved.Objectives:To update the treatment guidelines based on current foreign and domestic practice guidelines and clinical evidence,and to improve the treatment options available to physicians in the management of PD.Summary:A variety of treatment recommendations in the treatment guidelines have been proposed,including physical activity and disease-modifying medication,which should be initiated at the early-stage of the disease.The principles of dosage titration should be followed to avoid acute adverse reactions to the drugs,to achieve a satisfactory clinical effect with a low dose and to reduce the incidence of long-term motor complications.Moreover,different treatment strategies should be considered at different stages of the disease.Importantly,treatment guidelines and personalized treatments should be valued equally.A set of treatment recommendations has been developed to assist physicians to improve and optimize clinical outcomes for patients with PD in China. | Shengdi Chen Piu Chan Shenggang Sun Haibo Chen Baorong Zhang Weidong Le Chunfeng Liu Guoguang Peng Beisha Tang Lijuan Wang Yan Cheng Ming Shao Zhenguo Liu Zhenfu Wang Xiaochun Chen Mingwei Wang Xinhua Wan Huifang Shang Yiming Liu Pingyi Xu Jian Wang Tao Feng Xianwen Chen Xingyue Hu Anmu Xie Qin Xiao | 2016 | Translational Neurodegeneration2016,5,1: | 23 |
| 2 | Tumor-associated macrophages in liver cancer:From mechanisms to therapy显示文摘Multidimensional analyses have demonstrated the presence of a unique tumor microenvironment(TME)in liver cancer.Tumor-associated macrophages(TAMs)are among the most abundant immune cells infiltrating the TME and are present at all stages of liver cancer progression,and targeting TAMs has become one of the most favored immunotherapy strategies.In addition,macrophages and liver cancer cells have distinct origins.At the early stage of liver cancer,macrophages can provide a niche for the maintenance of liver cancer stem cells.In contrast,cancer stem cells(CSCs)or poorly differentiated tumor cells are key factors modulating macrophage activation.In the present review,we first propose the origin connection between precursor macrophages and liver cancer cells.Macrophages undergo dynamic phenotypic transition during carcinogenesis.In this course of such transition,it is critical to determine the appropriate timing for therapy and block specific markers to suppress protumoral TAMs.The present review provides a more detailed discussion of transition trends of such surface markers than previous reviews.Complex crosstalk occurs between TAMs and liver cancer cells.TAMs play indispensable roles in tumor progression,angiogenesis,and autophagy due to their heterogeneity and robust plasticity.In addition,macrophages in the TME interact with other immune cells by directing cell-to-cell contact or secreting various effector molecules.Similarly,tumor cells combined with other immune cells can drive macrophage recruitment and polarization.Despite the latest achievements and the advancements in treatment strategies following TAMs studies,comprehensive discussions on the communication between macrophages and cancer cells or immune cells in liver cancer are currently lacking.In this review,we discussed the interactions between TAMs and liver cancer cells(from cell origin to maturation),the latest therapeutic strategies(including chimeric antigen receptor macrophages),and critical clinical trials for hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)and intrahepatic cholangiocar-cinoma(iCCA)to provide a rationale for further clinical investigation of TAMs as a potential target for treating patients with liver cancer. | Kun Cheng Ning Cai Jinghan Zhu Xing Yang Huifang Liang Wanguang Zhang | 2022 | Cancer Communications2022,42,11: | 10 |
| 3 | Aberrations of biochemical indicators in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis:a systematic review and meta-analysis显示文摘Accumulating evidence has suggested that the pathological changes in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis(ALS)are not only confined to the central nervous system but also occur in the peripheral circulating system.Here,we performed a meta-analysis based on the PubMed,EMBASE,EBSCO,and CNKI databases,to find out biochemical indicators associated with energy metabolism,iron homeostasis,and muscle injury that are altered in ALS patients and their correlations with ALS phenotypes.Forty-six studies covering 17 biochemical indicators,representing 5454 ALS patients and 7986 control subjects,were included in this meta-analysis.Four indicators,including fasting blood glucose level(weighted mean difference[WMD]=0.13,95%CI[0.06-0.21],P=0.001),serum ferritin level(WMD=63.42,95%CI[48.12-78.73],P<0.001),transferrin saturation coefficient level(WMD=2.79,95%CI[1.52-4.05],P<0.001),and creatine kinase level(WMD=80.29,95%CI[32.90-127.67],P<0.001),were significantly higher in the ALS patients,whereas the total iron-binding capacity(WMD=-2.42,95%CI[-3.93,-0.90],P=0.002)was significantly lower in ALS patients than in the control subjects.In contrast,the other 12 candidates did not show significant differences between ALS patients and controls.Moreover,pooled hazard ratios(HR)showed significantly reduced survival(HR=1.38,95%CI[1.02-1.88],P=0.039)of ALS patients with elevated serum ferritin levels.These findings suggest that abnormalities in energy metabolism and disruption of iron homeostasis are involved in the pathogenesis of ALS.In addition,the serum ferritin level is negatively associated with the overall survival of ALS patients. | Yangfan Cheng Yongping Chen Huifang Shang | 2021 | Translational Neurodegeneration2021,10,1: | 2 |

| 8 | Single molecular insight into steric effect on C-terminal amino acids with various hydrogen bonding sites显示文摘Amino acids are basic units to construct a protein with the assistance of various interactions.During this building process,steric hindrance derived from amino acid side groups or side chains is a factor that could not be ignored.In this contribution,adsorption behaviors of C-terminal amino acid derivatives with amino acid residues fused in 3,4,9,10-perylenetetracarboxylic dianhydride were investigated by scanning tunneling microscopy(STM)and density functional theory(DFT)calculations at various liquid/solid interfaces.STM results at 1-phenyloctane/HOPG interface show that N,N'-3,4,9,10-perylenedicarboximide(GP)and N,N'-methyl-3,4,9,10-perylenedicarboximide(AP)formed linear and herringbone structures,respectively.The driving force could be attributed to different H-bonding sites induced by steric hindrance at side groups.N,N'-Benzyl-3,4,9,10-perylenedicarboximide(PP)generates both linear and herringbone structures because steric hindrance changes the H-bonding sites between PP molecules,whereas N,N'-isopropyl-3,4,9,10-perylenedicarboximide(LP)failed to be imaged because of strong steric hindrance coming from larger side group.To further investigate the impact of steric hindrance,we utilized octanoic acid(OA)as solvent to capture the adsorption details of LP and PP.We found that OA molecules drag PP and LP molecules in a different direction to generate linear structure,impeding the molecular rotation.The structure–solvent relationship shows that the steric hindrance is brought by the large side group,which makes it easier to recognize OA molecules at the interface.These results demonstrate that steric effect plays a significant role in altering interaction sites of the compounds during the adsorption process at the liquid/solid interface. | Yunzhi Xie Chunhua Liu Linxiu Cheng Yulan Fan Huifang Li Wei Liu Lei Zhu Xun Li Ke Deng Qingdao Zeng Shoufa Han | 2022 | Chinese Chemical Letters2022,33,10: | 1 |

| 10 | Genetic heterogeneity on sleep disorders in Parkinson’s disease: a systematic review and meta-analysis显示文摘A growing amount of evidence has indicated contributions of variants in causative genes of Parkinson’s disease (PD) to the development of sleep disturbance in PD and prodromal PD stages. In this article, we aimed to investigate the role of genetics in sleep disorders in PD patients and asymptomatic carriers at prodromal stage of PD. A systematic review and meta-analysis of observational studies was conducted based on the MEDLINE, EMBASE and PsychINFO databases. A pooled effect size was calculated by odds ratio (OR) and standard mean difference (SMD). Forty studies were selected for quantitative analysis, including 17 studies on glucocerebrosidase (GBA), 25 studies on Leucine-rich repeat kinase 2 (LRRK2) and 7 on parkin (PRKN) genes, and 3 studies on alpha-synuclein gene (SNCA) were used for qualitative analysis. Patients with PD carrying GBA variants had a significantly higher risk for rapid-eye-movement behavior disorders (RBD) (OR, 1.82) and higher RBD Screening Questionnaire scores (SMD, 0.33). Asymptomatic carriers of GBA variants had higher severity of RBD during follow-up. Patients with PD carrying the LRRK2 G2019S variant had lower risk and severity of RBD compared with those without LRRK2 G2019S. Variants of GBA, LRRK2 and PRKN did not increase or decrease the risk and severity of excessive daytime sleepiness and restless legs syndrome in PD. | 11 | Influence of the Calmodulin Antagonist EBB on Cyclin B1 and Cdc2-p34 in Human Drug-resistant Breast Cancer MCF-7/ADR Cells显示文摘OBJECTIVE To investigate the influence of O-(4-ethoxyl-butyl)- berbamine(EBB)on the expression of cyclin B1 and cdc2-p34 in the human drug-resistant breast cancer MCF-7/ADR cell line. METHODS The MTT assay was used to assess the cytotoxicity of EBB.Different levels of EBB were added to different cell lines at series of time points solely or combined with doxorubicin(DOX) to detect the effect on the expression of cyclinB1 and cdc2-p34 by Western blots.cdc2-p34 tyrosine phosphorylation was detected by immunoprecipitation.In addition,apoptosis and cytoplastic Ca 2+ concentrations were systematically examined by laser scanning confocal microscopy(LSCM). RESULTS EBB showed little inhibitory activity on human umbilical vein endothelial cells(ECV304),whereas EBB inhibited cell growth(IC50 range,4.55~15.74μmol/L)in a variety of sensitive and drug-resistance cell lines.EBB also down-regulated the expression of cyclin B1 and cdc2-p34 in a concentration and time dependent manner,which was an important reason for the G2/M phase arrest.EBB was shown to induce apoptosis of MCF-7/ADR cells while increasing the level of cytoplastic Ca 2+ . | 13 | Single-cell transcriptome atlas reveals spatiotemporal developmental trajectories in the basal roots of moso bamboo (Phyllostachys edulis)显示文摘Roots are essential for plant growth and development.Bamboo is a large Poaceae perennial with 1642 species worldwide.However,little is known about the transcriptional atlas that underpins root cell-type differentiation.Here,we set up a modified protocol for protoplast preparation and report single-cell transcriptomes of 14279 filtered single cells derived from the basal root tips of moso bamboo.We identified four cell types and defined new cell-type-specific marker genes for the basal root.We reconstructed the developmental trajectories of the root cap,epidermis,and ground tissues and elucidated critical factors regulating cell fate determination.According to in situ hybridization and pseudotime trajectory analysis,the root cap and epidermis originated from a common initial cell lineage,revealing the particularity of bamboo basal root development.We further identified key regulatory factors for the differentiation of these cells and indicated divergent root developmental pathways between moso bamboo and rice.Additionally,PheWOX13a and PheWOX13b ectopically expressed in Arabidopsis inhibited primary root and lateral root growth and regulated the growth and development of the root cap,which was different from WOX13 orthologs in Arabidopsis.Taken together,our results offer an important resource for investigating the mechanism of root cell differentiation and root system architecture in perennial woody species of Bambusoideae. | Zhanchao Cheng Changhong Mu Xiangyu Li Wenlong Cheng Miaomiao Cai Chongyang Wu Jutang Jiang Hui Fang Yucong Bai Huifang Zheng Ruiman Geng Junlei Xu Yali Xie Yuping Dou Juan Li Shaohua Mu Jian Gao | 2023 | Horticulture Research2023,10,8: | 0 |
| 14 | Interlayer and intralayer co-modified flexible V_(2)CT_(X) MXene@SWCNT films for high-power Li-ion capacitors显示文摘As an emerging member of the two-dimensional(2D)material family,V_(2)CT_(X)MXene shows great potential in the application of lithium-ion capacitors(LICs)due to its unique structure and excellent electrical conductivity.However,severe nanosheets stacking and intra-layer transport barriers have limited the further development of V_(2)CT_(X)MXene-based materials.Herein,we prepared Kions and–O functional group co-modified V_(2)CT_(X)MXene(VCT-K)and further incorporated it with single-walled carbon nanotube(SWCNT),obtaining freestanding V_(2)CT_(X)composite films(VCT-K@C)with the 3D conductive network.Significantly,K+ions were introduced into V_(2)CT_(X)MXene to stabilize the interlayer structure and prevent the aggregation of nanosheets,the terminal group of–O was controllably modified on the surface of MXene to improve the Li+ions storage reversible capacities and the SWCNT acted as the bridge between MXene nanosheets to opens up the channels for ion/electron transportation in the longitudinal direction.Benefited from the synergistic effect of VCT-K and SWCNT,the VCT-K@C exhibits superior reversible specific capacities of 671.8 mA h g^(-1)at 0.1 A g^(-1)and 318 mA h g^(-1)at 1.0 A g^(-1).Furthermore,the assembled LICs with VCT-K@C anode coupling activated carbon(AC)cathode deliver an outstanding power density of 19.0 kW kg^(-1)at 67.4 Wh kg^(-1),a high energy density of 140.5 Wh kg^(-1)at 94.8 W kg^(-1)and a stable capacitance retention of 86%after 6000 cycles at 10 A g^(-1).Such unique structures and excellent electrochemical properties are expected to pave the way for the large-scale application in LICs of MXene-based materials. | Wanli Wang Min Feng Enze Hu Zhaowei Hu Cheng Fan Huifang Li Peng Wang Xiaojun Wang Zhiming Liu | 2023 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2023,,4: | 0 |

| 17 | Engineering the electronic and geometric structure of VO_(x)/BN@TiO_(2)heterostructure for efficient aerobic oxidative desulfurization显示文摘Particle size governs the electronic and geometric structure of metal nanoparticles(NPs),shaping their catalytic performances in heterogeneous catalysis.However,precisely controlling the size of active metal NPs and thereafter their catalytic activities remain an affordable challenge in ultra-deep oxidative desulfurization(ODS)field.Herein,a series of highly-efficient VO_(x)/boron nitride nanosheets(BNNS)@TiO_(2)heterostructures,therein,cetyltrimethylammonium bromide cationic surfactants serving as intercalation agent,BNNS and MXene as precursors,with various VO_(x)NP sizes were designed and controllably constructed by a facile intercalation confinement strategy.The properties and structures of the prepared catalysts were systematically characterized by different technical methods,and their catalytic activities were investigated for aerobic ODS of dibenzothiophene(DBT).The results show that the size of VO_(x)NPs and V^(5+)/V^(4+)play decisive roles in the catalytic aerobic ODS of VO_(x)/BNNS@TiO_(2)catalysts and that VO_(x)/BNNS@TiO_(2)-2 exhibits the highest ODS activity with 93.7%DBT conversion within 60 min under the reaction temperature of 130℃and oxygen flow rate of 200 mL·min-1,which is due to its optimal VO_(x)dispersion,excellent reducibility and abundant active species.Therefore,the finding here may contribute to the fundamental understanding of structure-activity in ultradeep ODS and inspire the advancement of highly-efficient catalyst. | Lu Zhang Jixing Liu Deqi Huang Wenfeng Zhang Linjie Lu Mingqing Hua Hui Liu Huifang Cheng Huaming Li Wenshuai Zhu | 2023 | Frontiers of Chemical Science and Engineering2023,17,3: | 0 |
