Fabrication of Al_2O_3-NaCl Composite Heat Storage Materials by One-step Synthesis Method显示文摘Thermal energy storage is an attractive option for effectiveness since it gives flexibility and reduces energy consumption and costs. New composite materials for storage and transformation of heat of NaCl-Al_2O_3 composite materials were synthesized by one-step synthesis method. The chemical composition, morphology, structure, and thermal properties were investigated by XRD, EDS, SEM, and DSC. The results show that NaCl can be absorbed by Al_2O_3 particle from 800 to 900 ℃ for Al_2O_3 particle surface is rich active structure. The results also indicate that the leakage of NaCl when the phase change can be prevented by Al_2O_3 particles and the enthalpy of phase change of NaCl-Al_2O_3 material is 362 J/g. The composites have an excellent heat storage capacity. Therefore, this study contributes to one new thought and method to prepare high temperature heat storage material and this material can be applied in future thermal engineering. | 朱教群 李儒光 ZHOU Weibin ZHANG Hongguang CHENG Xiaomin | 2016 | Journal of Wuhan University of Technology(Materials Science)2016,31,5: | 5
First results on ^(76)Ge neutrinoless double beta decay from CDEX-1 experiment显示文摘We report the first results on ^(76)Ge neutrinoless double beta decay from stage one of the China dark-matter experiment(CDEX).A p-type point-contact high-purity germanium detector with a mass of 994 g has been installed to detect neutrinoless double beta decay events, as well as to directly detect dark matter particles. An exposure of 304 kg d has been analyzed over a wide spectral band from 500 keV to 3 MeV. The average event rate obtained was about 0.012 counts per keV per kg per day over the 2.039 MeV energy range. The half-life of ^(76)Ge neutrinoless double beta decay derived based on this result is T^(0ν)1/2>6.4×10^(22) yr(90% C.L.). An upper limit on the effective Majorana-neutrino mass of 5.0 eV has been achieved. | Li Wang Qian Yue KeJun Kang JianPing Cheng YuanJing Li TszKing Henry Wong ShinTed Lin JianPing Chang JingHan Chen QingHao Chen YunHua Chen Zhi Deng Qiang Du Hui Gong Li He QingJu He JinWei Hu HanXiong Huang TengRui Huang LiPing Jia Hao Jiang HauBin Li Hong Li JianMin Li Jin Li Jun Li Xia Li XueQian Li YuLan Li FongKay Lin ShuKui Liu Hao Ma JingLu Ma XingYu Pan Jie Ren XiChao Ruan ManBin Shen Vivek Sharma Lakhwinder Singh Manoj Kumar Singh Manoj Kumar Singh Arun Kumar Soma ChangJian Tang WeiYou Tang ChaoHsiung Tseng JiMin Wang Qing Wang ShiYong Wu YuCheng Wu HaoYang Xing Yin Xu Tao Xue LiTao Yang SongWei Yang Nan Yi ChunXu Yu HaiJun Yu WeiHe Zeng XiongHui Zeng Zhi Zeng Lan Zhang YunHua Zhang MingGang Zhao Wei Zhao JiFang Zhou ZuYing Zhou JingJun Zhu WeiBin Zhu ZhongHua Zhu | 2017 | Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2017,60,7: | 3

New insights into the structural basis of DNA recognition by HINa and HINb domains of IFI16显示文摘Interferon gamma-inducible protein 16(IFI16)senses DNA in the cytoplasm and the nucleus by using two tandem hematopoietic interferon-inducible nuclear(HIN)domains,HINa and HINb,through the cooperative assembly of IFI16 filaments on double-stranded DNA(dsDNA).The role of HINa in sensing DNA is not clearly understood. Here,we describe the crystal structure of the HINa domain in complex with DNA at 2.55A°resolution and provide the first insight into the mode of DNA binding by the HINa domain. The structure reveals the presence of two oligosaccharide/nucleotide-binding(OB)folds with a unique DNA-binding surface.HINa uses loop L45 of the canonical OB2 fold to bind to the DNA backbone. The dsDNA is recognized as two single strands of DNA.Interestingly, deletion of HINb compromises the ability of IFI16 to induce IFN-b,while HINa mutants impaired in DNAbinding enhance the production of IFN-b.These results shed light on the roles of IFI16 HIN domains in DNA recognition and innate immune responses. | Xiangmin Ni Heng Ru Feng Ma Lixia Zhao Neil Shaw Yingang Feng Wei Ding Weibin Gong Qiaofeng Wang Songying Ouyang Genhong Cheng Zhi-Jie Liu | 2016 | Journal of Molecular Cell Biology2016,8,1: | 1
Synergistic coupling of amorphous carbon and graphitic domains toward high-rate and long-life K^(+) storage显示文摘Amorphous carbon materials hold great potential for practical use in potassium-ion batteries(PIBs)due to their abundant resources, low cost and high structural stability. However, given the challenge of sluggish potassiation kinetics, the rate performance of amorphous carbon is severely hindered.Herein, amorphous carbon compounded with graphitic domains(HG-CNTs)was proposed as an advanced anode for PIBs.As directly verified by in situ transmission electron microscopy(TEM),the graphitic domains guarantee fast K-ions transport in the carbon composite at a high current density, while the amorphous carbon shells ensure the structural integrity during potassiation, thus boosting its fast and durable K^(+)storage. As a PlB anode, the HG-CNTs electrode exhibits not only a super-stable long-term cyclability(191.6 mAh g^(-1)at 1 A g^(-1)with almost no capacity decay over 3000 cycles),but also an outstanding rate performance(184.5 mAh g^(-1)at 2 A g^(-1)).Ex situ Raman and TEM results further suggest that the highly reversible structure of HG-CNTs is responsible for its superior electrochemical stability. This work provides helpful insights into the development of carbonaceous electrodes with both high rate capability and long cycle life for PIBs. | Hehe Zhang Wangqin Li Jianhai Pan Zhefei Sun Bensheng Xiao Weibin Ye Chengzhi Ke Haowen Gao Yong Cheng Qiaobao Zhang Ming-Sheng Wang | 2022 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,10: | 0
Characteristics and outcomes of patients with autoimmune pancreatitis after pancreatectomy:a retrospective study显示文摘Objective:Autoimmune pancreatitis(AIP)is a rare and special type of pancreatitis, which is often difficult to distinguish from pancreatic cancer. We aimed to discuss the clinical characteristics, operation characteristics, and therapeutic effects of AIP pa-tients who received surgical treatment based on retrospective analysis. Methods:The medical records of patients who underwent surgery at Peking Union Medical College Hospital from January 2012 to July 2021 and whose postoperative pathology was AIP were collected.Clinical symptoms, laboratory examinations, imaging features, surgical information, and prognostic data were analyzed. Results:Nineteen patients with AIP(median age 60 years old,14 males)underwent surgery, whose main indication for surgery was suspected of a malignant lesion(n=18,94.7%).Ten patients underwent pancreaticoduodenectomy,8 underwent distal pancreatectomy, and 1 underwent total pancreatectomy, the pathological result of whom were all AIP.The main postoperative complication was pancreatic fistula(n=11,57.9%),and one patient(5.3%)underwent a second operation due to gastrointestinal anastomotic bleeding. One patient(5.6%)had a recurrence of AIP,3 patients(16.7%)were treated with glucocorticoid after sur-gery,and one patient(5.6%)was treated with immunosuppressors. Conclusions:Differential diagnosis of AIP from pancreatic cancer is complex.Operation difficulty and complication incidence for patients with AIP were similar to pancreatic cancer patients.Although glucocorticoid is the first-line treatment for AIP,surgery may still be necessary for patients who are strongly suspected of a malignant lesion. | Bangbo Zhao Cheng Qin Tianyu Li Zeru Li Yuanyang Wang Weibin Wang | 2023 | Journal of Pancreatology2023,6,2: | 0
Exosome-mediated cell-cell communication within pancreatic cancer tumor microenvironment: a narrative review显示文摘The significance of exosomes has emerged in a variety of physiological processes and diseases.Pancreatic cancer remains one of the most lethal diseases at present.Recently, increasing evidence has suggested that exosomes are vital for mediating the elaborate interaction of highly heterogeneous cell clusters within the pancreatic tumor microenvironment, contributing to activating pancreatic stellate cells and cancer-associated fibroblasts, compromising immune cells, and enhancing angiogenesis.Besides their natural and intrinsic roles, exosomes may provide a novel potential way for pancreatic cancer management and therapy as well. Thus, exosomes not only mediate cellular communication during pancreatic cancer progression but also serve as a promising player in precise pancreatic cancer management and treatment. To comprehensively summarize the role of exosomes in pancreatic cancer,we searched the PubMed database and reviewed all relevant original studies. | Cheng Qin Bangbo Zhao Yuanyang Wang Tianhao Li Zeru Li Tianyu Li Yutong Zhao Weibin Wang | 2022 | Journal of Pancreatology2022,5,3: | 0

Pancreatic cancer with ovarian metastasis: cases report and literature review显示文摘Background: Pancreatic cancer with ovarian metastases is rare and easily misdiagnosed. Patients with ovarian metastases are first diagnosed with ovarian cancer and may miss the opportunity to receive surgical operation. We report 7 rare cases of ovarian metastases secondary to pancreatic adenocarcinoma and review the literature to analyze clinical characteristics, diagnostic methods, and potential therapeutic strategies for the rare malignancy.Cases Summary: We retrospectively analyzed the clinical data of 7 female patients with ovarian metastases of primary pancreatic cancer who were admitted to our hospital from January 01, 1985, to April 1, 2020. These 7 patients were diagnosed with ovarian metastasis at an average age of 52.28 (38-69) years. The reason for the patient’s visit was generally a mass in the lower abdomen and/or abdominal pain. Six of them had significantly higher serum Carbohydrate antigen19-9 (CA19-9) levels, 6 patients had pancreatic tumors located in the body or tail, and 1 patient had one in the head of the pancreas. All patients underwent excision of ovarian tumors and resection or biopsy of pancreatic tumors. Five patients had pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC), and 2 had pancreatic cystadenocarcinoma (PCC), all of which were revealed by the pathological results. Ovarian tumors were assessed by pathology and were consistent with pancreatic metastasis. Currently, all 7 patients have died (follow-up to January 2, 2021). The median survival time for all patients was 13.7 months (2.9-27 months). Conclusions: For this rare tumor, elevated serum CA19-9 may indicate that the primary lesion is in the pancreas. Enhanced pancreatic Computed Tomography (CT) can facilitate diagnostic localization. In addition, if the pancreatic tumor cannot be removed, the ovarian tumor should still be resected to reduce the tumor load and improve the quality of life. | Zeru Li Xingtong Zhou Bangbo Zhao Zhibo Zheng Cheng Qin Xudong Liu Huadan Xue Weibin Wang | 2023 | Journal of Pancreatology2023,6,1: | 0
