1Thermodynamic conditions of framework grain dissolution of clastic rocks and its application in Kela 2 gas field显示文摘Feldspar and clastic debris are the most important constituent framework grains of sedimentary clastic rocks and their chemical dissolution plays an essential role in the formation and evolution of the secondary pore in the reservoir rocks. On the basis of thermodynamic phase equilibrium, this study investigates the chemical equilibrium relationships between fluid and various plagioclase and K-feldspar in diagenesis of the sediments, particularly, the impact of temperature and fluid compositions (pH, activity of K+, Na+, Ca2+ and so on) on precipitation and dissolution equilibria of feldspars. Feldspar is extremely easily dissolved in the acid pore water with a low salinity when temperature decreases. The dissolution of anorthite end-member of plagioclase is related to the Ca content of the mineral and the fluid, higher Ca either in the mineral or in the fluid, easier dissolution of the feldspar. Moreover, the dissolution of albite end-member of plagioclase is related to Na of both the mineral and fluid, lower Na out of both the mineral and fluid, easier dissolution of the mineral. Similarly, lower-K fluid is more powerful to dissolve K-feldspar than the higher. The anorthite component of plagioclase is most easily dissolved in ground water-rock system, the albite is the secondary, and K-feldspar is the most stable. Selective dissolution of plagioclase occurs in diagenesis because of the plagioclase solid solution that is mainly composed of albite and anorthite end-members, Ca-rich part of which is preferentially dissolved by the pore water, in contrast to the Na-rich parts. Based on investigation of reservoir quality, secondary pore, dissolution structures of feldspar, clay minerals and ground water chemistry of the Kela 2 gas field of Kuqa Depression in the Tarim basin of Western China, we discovered that the secondary pore is very well developed in the highest quality section of the reservoir, and the plagioclase of which was obviously selectively dissolved, in contrast to the overgrowth of K-feldspar. Chemistry of the ground water out of the highest quality section of the reservoir is consistent with the complete dissolution field of anorthite, partial dissolution field of albite component of plagioclase, and the precipitation of K-feldspar on the temperature-logK phase equilibrium diagram drawn from this study. The thermodynamic modeling calculation gave us an insight into formation of the secondary pore within the reservoir, and the dissolution of plagioclase an important cause of the secondary pore. 23-year Treatment of Tenofovir Alafenamide vs.Tenofovir Disoproxil Fumarate for Chronic HBV Infection in China显示文摘Background and Aims:Tenofovir alafenamide(TAF)has similar efficacy to tenofovir disoproxil fumarate(TDF)but with improved renal and bone safety in chronic hepatitis B patients studied outside of China.We report 3-year results from two phase 3 studies with TAF in China(Clinicaltrials.gov:NCT02836249 and NCT02836236).Methods:Chinese hepatitis B e antigen(HBeAg)-positive and-negative chronic hepatitis B patients with viremia and elevated alanine aminotransferase were randomized 2:1 to TAF or TDF treatment groups and treated in a double-blind fashion for 144 weeks(3 years).Efficacy responses were assessed by individual study while safety was assessed by a pooled analysis.Results:Of the 334 patients(180 HBeAg-positive and 154 HBeAg-negative)randomized and treated,baseline characteristics were similar between groups.The overall mean age was 38 years and 73%were male.The mean HBV DNA was 6.4 log10 IU/mL.The median alanine aminotransferase was 88 U/L,and 37%had a history of antiviral use.At week 144,the proportion with HBV DNA<29 IU/mL was similar among the two groups,with TAF at 83%vs.TDF at 79%,and TAF at 93%vs.TDF at 92%for the HBeAg-positive and-negative patients,respectively.In each study,higher proportions of TAF than TDF patients showed normalized alanine aminotransferase(via the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases and the China criteria)and showed loss of HBsAg;meanwhile,the HBeAg seroconversion rates were similar.Treatment was well-tolerated among the TAF patients,who showed a smaller median decline in creatinine clearance(−0.4 vs.−3.2 mL/min;p=0.014)and less percentage change in bone mineral density vs.TDF at hip(−0.95%vs.−1.93%)and spine(+0.35%vs.−1.40%).Conclusions:In chronic hepatitis B patients from China,TAF treatment provided efficacy similar to TDF but with better renal and bone safety at 3 years.Jinlin Hou Qin Ning Zhongping Duan You Chen Qing Xie Fu-Sheng Wang Lunli Zhang Shanming Wu Hong Tang Jun Li Feng Lin Yongfeng Yang Guozhong Gong John FFlaherty Anuj Gaggar Shuyuan Mo Cong Cheng Gregory Camus Chengwei Chen Yan Huang Jidong Jia Mingxiang Zhang GS-US-320-0110 and GS-US-320-0108 China Investigators 2021Journal of Clinical and Translational Hepatology2021,9,3:7

4Targeting the ubiquitination/deubiquitination process to regulate immune checkpoint pathways显示文摘The immune system initiates robust immune responses to defend against invading pathogens or tumor cells and protect the body from damage,thus acting as a fortress of the body.However,excessive responses cause detrimental effects,such as inflammation and autoimmune diseases.To balance the immune responses and maintain immune homeostasis,there are immune checkpoints to terminate overwhelmed immune responses.Pathogens and tumor cells can also exploit immune checkpoint pathways to suppress immune responses,thus escaping immune surveillance.As a consequence,therapeutic antibodies that target immune checkpoints have made great breakthroughs,in particular for cancer treatment.While the overall efficacy of immune checkpoint blockade(ICB)is unsatisfactory since only a small group of patients benefted from ICB treatment.Hence,there is a strong need to search for other targets that improve the efficacy of ICB.Ubiquitination is a highly conserved process which participates in numerous biological activities,including innate and adaptive immunity.A growing body of evidence emphasizes the importance of ubiquitination and its reverse process,deubiquitination,on the regulation of immune responses,providing the rational of simultaneous targeting of immune checkpoints and ubiquitination/deubiquitination pathways to enhance the therapeutic efficacy.Our review will summarize the latest findings of ubiquitination/deubiquitination pathways for anti-tumor immunity,and discuss therapeutic significance of targeting ubiquitination/deubiquitination pathways in the future of immunotherapy.Jiaxin Liu Yicheng Cheng Ming Zheng Bingxiao Yuan Zimu Wang Xinying Li Jie Yin Mingxiang Ye Yong Song 2021Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2021,6,2:3
5Association between porpoise presence and fish choruses:implications for feeding strategies and ecosystem-based conservation of the East Asian finless porpoise显示文摘The associations between feeding activities and environmental variables inform animal feeding tactics that max-imize energetic gains by minimizing energy costs while maximizing feeding success.Relevant studies in aquatic animals,particularly marine mammals,are scarce due to difficulties in the observation of feeding behaviors in aquatic environments.This data scarcity concurrently hinders ecosystem-basedfishery management in the context of small toothed-cetacean conservation.In the present study,a passive acoustic monitoring station was deployed in an East Asianfinless porpoise habitat in Laizhou Bay to investigate potential relationships between East Asianfinless porpoises and their prey.The data revealed that porpoises were acoustically present nearly every day during the survey period.Porpoise detection rates differed between spring and autumn in concert with activities offish choruses.During spring,fish choruses were present throughout the afternoon,and this was the time when porpoise vocalizations were the most frequently detected.During autumn,whenfish choruses were absent,porpoise detec-tion rates decreased,and diurnal patterns were not detected.The close association betweenfish choruses andfin-less porpoise activities implies an“eavesdropping”feeding strategy to maximize energetic gains,similar to other toothed cetaceans that are known to engage similar feeding strategies.Underwater noise pollution,particularly those maskingfish choruses,could interruptfinless porpoises’feeding success.Fisheries competing soniferousfishes withfinless porpoise could impactfinless porpoise viability through ecosystem disruption,in addition tofishing gear entanglement.Zhaolong CHENG Yongtao LI Matthew Keith PINE Tao ZUO Mingxiang NIU Jun WANG 2023Integrative Zoology2023,18,1:1
6Integrative Analysis of Genome,3D Genome,and Transcriptome Alterations of Clinical Lung Cancer Samples显示文摘Genomic studies of cancer cell alterations,such as mutations,copy number variations(CNVs),and translocations,greatly promote our understanding of the genesis and development of cancers.However,the 3D genome architecture of cancers remains less studied due to the complexity of cancer genomes and technical difficulties.To explore the 3D genome structure in clinical lung cancer,we performed Hi-C experiments using paired normal and tumor cells harvested from patients with lung cancer,combining with RNA sequenceing analysis.We demonstrated the feasibility of studying 3D genome of clinical lung cancer samples with a small number of cells(1×10^(4)),compared the genome architecture between clinical samples and cell lines of lung cancer,and identified conserved and changed spatial chromatin structures between normal and cancer samples.We also showed that Hi-C data can be used to infer CNVs and point mutations in cancer.By integrating those different types of cancer alterations,we showed significant associations between CNVs,3D genome,and gene expression.We propose that 3D genome mediates the effects of cancer genomic alterations on gene expression through altering regulatory chromatin structures.Our study highlights the importance of analyzing 3D genomes of clinical cancer samples in addition to cancer cell lines and provides an integrative genomic analysis pipeline for future larger-scale studies in lung cancer and other cancers.Tingting Li Ruifeng Li Xuan Dong Lin Shi Miao Lin Ting Peng Pengze Wu Yuting Liu Xiaoting Li Xuheng He Xu Han Bin Kang Yinan Wang Zhiheng Liu Qing Chen Yue Shen Mingxiang Feng Xiangdong Wang Duojiao Wu Jian Wang Cheng Li 2021Genomics, Proteomics & Bioinformatics2021,19,5:1
7Ground glass nodules with scattered or eccentric island-shaped consolidations may have poor outcomes显示文摘Background:To explore the effect of scattered or eccentric shaped types of ground glass opacity(GGO)on outcomes of patients with solid-dominant peripheral lung adenocarcinoma.Methods:We evaluated patients with solid-dominant peripheral lung adenocarcinoma,who underwent radical surgery at Zhongshan Hospital,Fudan University,between January 2013 and December 2015.Morphologically heterogeneous solid-dominant lung adenocarcinoma in imaging findings was based on the last preoperative computed tomography(CT)scans.Endpoints were recurrence-free survival(RFS)and overall survival(OS).Kaplan-Meier analysis and the log-rank test were used to estimate survival differences.Impact factors were assessed by univariable logistic regression analysis.Results:We retrospectively collected data from 200 patients,including 170 patients with central island-shaped CT imaging,18 patients with scattered shaped CT imaging,and 12 patients with eccentric shaped CT imaging.Eleven patients experienced recurrence or metastases.Kaplan-Meier survival curves showed significant survival differences between the central island-shaped type and scattered shaped or eccentric shaped type for OS(c-stage IA:5-year OS:100%vs.92.1%;HR=0.019,p=0.0025;p-stage IA:100%vs.95.2%;HR=0.146,p=0.1139)and RFS(c-stage IA:5-year RFS:100%vs.59.7%;HR=0.001,p<0.0001;p-stage IA:100%vs.64.5%;HR<0.001,p<0.0001).Univariable logistic regression analysis showed that scattered and eccentric shaped types were related to poor outcomes(p<0.012,odds ratio=18.8)。Conclusions:Relative spatial position of GGO and solid components may affect patient outcomes.Patients with scattered or eccentric shaped GGO may have a poor prognosis.Ming Li Junjie Xi Huan Zhang Xing Jin Zhuoyang Fan Cheng Zhan Mingxiang Feng Lijie Tan Qun Wang 2023Cancer Innovation2023,2,2:0
8Engineering and Application of Pillar[6]arene Functionalized Chiral Surface in Selective Adsorption of R-Adrenaline显示文摘Chiral properties of biological surface is of importance as they dominate interactions with biomolecules(such as proteins,nucleic acids,hormones)in a living system.Inspired by this phenomenon,we designed and constructed a L-/D-N-acetyl-cysteine-pillar[6]arene functionalized Si surface(L-/D-NACP surface)for studying the influence of superficial chirality on selective adsorption of R-adrenaline.The fabricated chiral L-/D-NACP surface with consistency in hydrophilia and elementary composition exhibited a strong mirror-symmetric circular dichroism signal.In the adsorption study,the contact-angle of R-adrenaline droplet on D-NACP surface was more hydrophilic from macroscopical view,and the size and quantity of R-adrenaline aggregation on D-NACP surface was larger than L-NACP surface,implying selective adsorption of R-adrenaline appeared on the D-NACP surface.The possible mechanism was due to the stronger host-guest interaction between D-NACP and R-adrenaline,which facilitated the selective adsorption.Besides,the D-NACP surface with good selectivity can be used for chiral separation of racemic adrenaline.The results enhance the under-standing of hormones adsorption affected by surface chirality,and may provide some helpful inspiration for practical application of chiral surface.Ming Cheng Wen Gong Mingxiang Lu Junkai Ma Zhiyan Lu Haibing Li 2022Chinese Journal of Chemistry2022,40,8:0
9Correlation between boson peak and thermal expansion manifested by physical aging and high pressure显示文摘We investigate the effects of high pressure and physical aging on the boson peak and thermal expansion of a typical metallic glass. Specifically, the thermal expansion coefficient and boson peak intensity monotonically decrease during physical aging.With the increase of high pressure, the boson peak intensity and the thermal expansion coefficient coincidently experience an incipient decrease and then a subsequent increase. The boson peak intensity shows an approximately linear relationship with the thermal expansion coefficient. The thermal expansion can be affected by structural relaxation or rejuvenation, which can reflect the flow units variation and atomic packing of a metallic glass. 10Tumor necrosis factor-stimulated gene-6 ameliorates early brain injury after subarachnoid hemorrhage by suppressing NLRC4 inflammasome-mediated astrocyte pyroptosis显示文摘Subarachnoid hemorrhage is associated with high morbidity and mortality and lacks effective treatment.Pyroptosis is a crucial mechanism underlying early brain injury after subarachnoid hemorrhage.Previous studies have confirmed that tumor necrosis factor-stimulated gene-6(TSG-6)can exert a neuroprotective effect by suppressing oxidative stress and apoptosis.However,no study to date has explored whether TSG-6 can alleviate pyroptosis in early brain injury after subarachnoid hemorrhage.In this study,a C57BL/6J mouse model of subarachnoid hemorrhage was established using the endovascular perforation method.Our results indicated that TSG-6 expression was predominantly detected in astrocytes,along with NLRC4 and gasdermin-D(GSDMD).The expression of NLRC4,GSDMD and its N-terminal domain(GSDMD-N),and cleaved caspase-1 was significantly enhanced after subarachnoid hemorrhage and accompanied by brain edema and neurological impairment.To explore how TSG-6 affects pyroptosis during early brain injury after subarachnoid hemorrhage,recombinant human TSG-6 or a siRNA targeting TSG-6 was injected into the cerebral ventricles.Exogenous TSG-6 administration downregulated the expression of NLRC4 and pyroptosis-associated proteins and alleviated brain edema and neurological deficits.Moreover,TSG-6 knockdown further increased the expression of NLRC4,which was accompanied by more severe astrocyte pyroptosis.In summary,our study revealed that TSG-6 provides neuroprotection against early brain injury after subarachnoid hemorrhage by suppressing NLRC4 inflammasome activation-induced astrocyte pyroptosis.Mingxiang Ding Lei Jin Boyang Wei Wenping Cheng Wenchao Liu Xifeng Li Chuanzhi Duan 2024Neural Regeneration Research2024,19,5:0
11An efficient Hauser-base electrolyte for rechargeable magnesium batteries显示文摘Rechargeable magnesium batteries(RMBs)are considered the promising candidates for post lithium-ion batteries due to the abundant storage,high capacity,and dendrite-rare characteristic of Mg anode.However,the lack of practical electrolytes impedes the development and application of RMBs.Here,through a one-step reaction of LiCl congenital-containing Knochel–Hauser base TMPL(2,2,6,6-tetrame thylpiperidinylmagnesium chloride lithium chloride complex)with Lewis acid AlCl_(3),we successfully synthesized an efficient amino-magnesium halide TMPLA electrolyte.Raman and mass spectroscopy identified that the electrolyte comprises the typical di-nuclear copolymer[Mg_(2)Cl_(3)·6THF]+cation group and[(TMP)2AlCl_(2)]-anion group,further supported by the results of density functional theory calculations(DFT)and the Molecular dynamics(MD)simulations.The TMPLA electrolyte exhibits promising electrochemical performance,including available anodic stability(>2.65 V vs.SS),high ionic conductivity(6.05mS cm^(-1)),and low overpotential(<0.1 V)as well as appropriate Coulombic efficiency(97.3%)for Mg plating/stripping.Both the insertion Mo6S8cathode and conversion Cu S cathode delivered a desirable electrochemical performance with high capacity and good cycling stability based on the TMPLA electrolyte.In particular,when compatible with low cost and easily synthesized Cu S,the Cu S||Mg cell displayed an extremely high discharge capacity of 458.8 mAh g^(-1)for the first cycle and stabilized at 170.2 mAh g^(-1)with high Coulombic efficiency(99.1%)after 50 cycles at 0.05 C.Our work proposes an efficient electrolyte with impressive compatibility with Mg anode and insertion/conversion cathode for practical RMBs and provides a more profound knowledge of the Lewis acid–base reaction mechanisms.Mingxiang Cheng Yaru Wang Duo Zhang Shuxin Zhang Yang Yang Xuecheng Lv Jiulin Wang Yanna NuLi 2023Journal of Energy Chemistry2023,,1:0
