| 1 | Efficient InGaN-based yellow-light-emitting diodes显示文摘Realization of efficient yellow-light-emitting diodes(LEDs) has always been a challenge in solid-state lighting.Great effort has been made, but only slight advancements have occurred in the past few decades. After comprehensive work on InGaN-based yellow LEDs on Si substrate, we successfully made a breakthrough and pushed the wall-plug efficiency of 565-nm-yellow LEDs to 24.3% at 20 A∕cm^2 and 33.7% at 3 A∕cm^2. | 2 | Efficient emission of InGaN-based light-emitting diodes:toward orange and red显示文摘Indium gallium nitride(InGaN)-based light-emitting diodes(LEDs)are considered a promising candidate for red-green-blue(RGB)micro displays.Currently,the blue and green LEDs are efficient,while the red ones are inefficient for such applications.This paper reports our work of creating efficient InGaN-based orange and red LEDs on silicon(111)substrates at low current density.Based on the structure of InGaN yellow LEDs,by simply reducing the growth temperature of all the yellow quantum wells(QWs),we obtained 599 nm orange LEDs with peak wall-plug efficiency(WPE)of 18.1%at 2 A/cm^2.An optimized QW structure was proposed that changed two of the nine yellow QWs to orange ones.Compared with the sample containing nine orange QWs,the sample with two orange QWs and seven yellow QWs showed similar emission spectra but a much higher peak WPE up to 24.0%at 0.8 A/cm^2 with a wavelength of 608 nm.The improvement of peak WPE can be attributed to the improved QW quality and the reduced active recombination volume.Subsequently,a series of efficient InGaN-based orange and red LEDs was demonstrated.With further development,the InGaN-based red LEDs are believed to be attainable and can be used in micro LED displays. | Shengnan Zhang Jianli Zhang Jiangdong Gao Xiaolan Wang Changda Zheng Meng Zhang Xiaoming Wu Longquan Xu Jie Ding Zhijue Quan Fengyi Jiang | 2020 | Photonics Research2020,8,11: | 10 |
| 3 | Dark matter direct search sensitivity of the PandaX-4T experiment显示文摘The Panda X-4T experiment, a 4-ton scale dark matter direct detection experiment, is being planned at the China Jinping Underground Laboratory. In this paper we present a simulation study of the expected background in this experiment. In a 2.8-ton fiducial mass and the signal region between 1-10 keV electron equivalent energy, the total electron recoil background is found to be 4.9 × 10^(-5) kg^(-1) d^(-1) keV^(-1). The nuclear recoil background in the same region is 2.8 × 10^(-7) kg^(-1) d^(-1) keV^(-1). | 5 | Biomass-derived hard carbon microtubes with tunable apertures for high-performance sodium-ion batteries显示文摘Sodium-ion batteries(SIBs)are considered the most up-and-coming complements for large-scale energy storage devices due to the abundance and cheap sodium.However,due to the bigger radius,it is still a great challenge to develop anode materials with suitable space for the intercalation of sodium ions.Herein,we present hard carbon microtubes(HCTs)with tunable apertures derived from low-cost natural kapok fibers via a carbonization process for SIBs.The resulted HCTs feature with smaller surface area and shorter Na+diffusion path benefitting from their unique micro-nano structure.Most importantly,the wall thickness of HCTs could be regulated and controlled by the carbonization temperature.At a high temperature of 1,600℃,the carbonized HCTs possess the smallest wall thickness,which reduces the diffusion barrier of Na+and enhances the reversibility Na+storage.As a result,the 1600HCTs deliver a high initial Coulombic efficiency of 90%,good cycling stability(89.4%of capacity retention over 100 cycles at 100 mA·g^(−1)),and excellent rate capacity.This work not only charts a new path for preparing hard carbon materials with adequate ion channels and novel tubular micro-nano structures but also unravels the mechanism of hard carbon materials for sodium storage. | Pin Song Shiqiang Wei Jun Di Jun Du Wenjie Xu Daobin Liu Changda Wang Sicong Qiao Yuyang Cao Qilong Cui Pengjun Zhang Liaobo Ma Jiewu Cui Yan Wang Yujie Xiong | 2023 | Nano Research2023,16,4: | 1 |
| 6 | The interpretation of gravity anomaly on lunar Apennines显示文摘The lunar Apennines,located in the southeast of Mare Imbrium,is the largest range on the Moon. The gravity anomalies on profiles across the mountains reveal evidence of a great fault zone characteristic. The deep crustal structures of lunar Apennines are analyzed on the basis of topographic data from Chang'E-1 satellite and gravity data from Lunar Prospector. The inverted crust-mantle models indicate the presence of a lithosphere fault beneath the mountains. Inverted results of gravity and the hypothe-sis of lunar thermal evolution suggest that the lunar lithosphere might be broken ~3.85 Ga ago due to a certain dynamic lateral movement and compression of lunar lithosphere. This event is associated with the history of magma filling and lithosphere deformation in the mountain zone and adjacent area. | 15 | Petrogenesis and Physicochemical Conditions of Fertile Porphyry in Non-arc Porphyry Mineralization:A Case from Habo Porphyry Cu-Mo Deposits,SW China显示文摘The Habo deposit is a typical porphyry Cu-Mo deposit in the Ailaoshan–Red River metallogenic belt.Ore minerals in the Habo deposit typically occur as veins in the monzonite porphyry.Zircon U-Pb dating suggests that the monzonite porphyry formed at 35.07±0.38 Ma.The monzonite porphyry is characterized by high SiO_(2),Al_(2)O_(3),K_(2)O and Na_(2)O contents,with A/CNK ratios ranging from 0.97 to 1.02.All samples exhibit fractionated REE patterns,characterized by high(La/Yb)N ratios(9.4–13.6,average of 11.2).They show adakite-like geochemical features,high Sr concentrations(627–751 ppm,average of 700 ppm),low Y concentrations(15.13–16.86 ppm,average of 15.81 ppm)and high Sr/Y values(39.5–47.4,average of 44.3).These samples have high initial^(87)Sr/^(86)Sr ratios(0.7074–0.7076)and negativeεNd(t)values(-5.1 to-3.7),whereas the zirconεHf(t)values range from-2.2 to+0.4,suggesting that the monzonite porphyry was derived from the partial melting of a thickened juvenile lower crust.The oxygen fugacity,calculated on the basis of the chemical composition of the amphiboles,shows?NNO values ranging from+1.65 to+2.16(average of 1.94)and lg(fO_(2))ranging from-12.72 to-11.99(average of-12.25),indicating that the monzonite porphyry has high oxygen fugacity.Zircons have high Ce^(4+)/Ce^(3+)ratios(29.29–164.24,average of 84.92),with high?FMQ values ranging from+0.50 to+1.51(average of 0.87)and high lg(fO_(2))values ranging from-14.72 to-12.85(average of-14.07),which also indicates that the oxygen fugacity of the magma was high.The dissolved water content of the Habo monzonite porphyry is 9.5–11.5 wt%,according to the geochemical characteristics,zircon-saturation thermometry(692–794°C)and the mineral phases(amphibole,no plagioclase)in the deep magma chamber.Combined with previous studies,we propose that the high oxygen fugacity and high water content of magma played key roles in controlling the formation of the Habo and other Cu-Mo-Au deposits in the Ailaoshan–Red River metallogenic belt. | ZHANG Aiping ZHENG Yuanchuan SHEN Yang Qi Qunjia WANG Zixuan WU Changda WANG Lu | 2023 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2023,97,2: | 0 |
| 16 | Hydrous Juvenile Lower Crust at the Western Yangtze Craton Margin as the Main Source of the Beiya Porphyry-skarn Au Deposit显示文摘The Beiya porphyry-skarn Au deposit is one of the largest gold deposits in China,temporally and spatially associated with Eocene intrusions in a post-collisional setting in western Yunnan,China.In this study,we report new whole-rock geochemistry,Sr-Nd isotope,zircon U-Pb geochronology and in situ zircon Hf-O isotopes of quartz-monzonite and biotite-monzonite porphyries from the Beiya deposit.The porphyry-skarn mineralization at the Beiya deposit is mainly associated with the quartz monzonite porphyry(35.8±0.6 Ma),while the biotite-monzonite porphyry(34.3±0.5 Ma)represents a post-mineralization intrusion crosscutting the main orebodies and the quartz-monzonite porphyry.Both intrusions have high-K and adakitic composition and are characterized by high Sr/Y ratios,high SiO_(2)and Al_(2)O_(3)concentrations(SiO_(2)=69.80-73.86 wt%;Al_(2)O_(3)=14.11-15.19 wt%),and low MgO,Cr,and Ni concentrations(MgO=0.2-1.0 wt%;Cr=1.76-11.13 ppm;Ni=2.52-11.72 ppm).Their Sr-Nd isotope compositions(^(87)Sr/^(86)Sr=0.7066-0.7077;εNd(t)=−5.3 to−1.5)are consistent with the lower crustal-derived amphibolite xenoliths(^(87)Sr/^(86)Sr=0.7060-0.7100;εNd(t)=−10.0 to 0.0),indicating that they might be derived from a thickened juvenile lower crust beneath the Yangtze Craton.The biotite-monzonite porphyry has lower zirconδ^(18)O values of+5.3‰to+6.8‰and higherεHf(t)values of−2.3 to+5.5 than those of the quartz-monzonite porphyry withδ^(18)O values of+7.1‰to+8.2‰andεHf(t)values of−3.8 to+1.5,implying that they were derived from different parts of the lower crust.High Ba/La and Pb/Ce ratios suggest that the quartz-monzonite porphyry is derived from a volatiles-rich reservoir.Relatively higher La/Yb,Sm/Yb and Dy/Yb ratios of the biotite-monzonite porphyry indicate residual garnet in the source,indicating a deeper source than that of the quartz-monzonite porphyry.The hydrous components should be represented by the amphibole-rich lithologies,which has relatively shallower depth than that of the garnet-bearing mafic thickened lower crust.Our data suggest that the mineralized quartz-monzonite porphyry at the Beiya deposit is derived from partial melting of amphibole-rich lithologies in the upper part of the thickened juvenile lower crust beneath the Yangtze Craton,while the post-mineralization biotite-monzonite porphyry is derived from the basal,and volatiles-poor,part of the juvenile lower crust. | WANG Zixuan ZHENG Yuanchuan XU Bo HOU Zengqian ZHANG Aiping SHEN Yang MA Rui WU Changda XU Peiyan | 2022 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2022,96,3: | 0 |
