2Identification of novel cis-elements bound by BplMYB46 involved in abiotic stress responses and secondary wall deposition显示文摘Transcription factors(TFs)play vital roles in various biological processes by binding to cis-acting elements to control expressions of their target genes.The MYB TF BplMYB46,from Betula platyphylla,is involved in abiotic stress responses and secondary wall deposition.In the present study,we used a TF-centered yeast onehybrid technology(TF-centered Y1H)to identify the cisacting elements bound by BplMYB46.We screened a shortinsert random library and identified three cis-elements bound by BplMYB46:an E-box(CA(A/T/C)(A/G/C)TG)and two novel motifs,a TC-box(T(G/A)TCG(C/G))and a GT-box(A(G/T)T(A/C)GT(T/G)C).Chromatin immunoprecipitation(ChIP)and effector-reporter coexpression assays in Nicotiana tabacum confirmed binding of BplMYB46 to the TC-box,GT-box,and E-box motifs in the promoters of the phenylalanine ammonia lyase(PAL),peroxidase(POD),and superoxide dismutase(SOD)genes,which function in abiotic stress tolerance and secondary wall biosynthesis.This finding improves our understanding of potential regulatory mechanisms in the response to abiotic stress and secondary wall deposition of BplMYB46 in B.platyphylla.Huiyan Guo Liuqiang Wang Chuanping Yang Yiming Zhang Chunrui Zhang Chao Wang 2018Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2018,60,10:7
3Genesis and Implications of the Composition and Sedimentary Structure of Fine-Grained Carbonate Rocks in the Shulu Sag显示文摘Fine-grained carbonate rocks, which extensively occur in the Eocene strata in the Shulu sag, Bohai Bay Basin, North China, represent an unconventional, fine-grained carbonate reservoir. However, previous studies have ignored the complexity of the lithofacies components and their formation mechanisms. Fine-grained carbonate rocks are typical reservoirs in which hydrocarbons form and gather. A better understanding of the nature of these rocks is extremely important for evaluating the quality of unconventional, fine-grained carbonate reservoirs. Various lithofacies components were discriminated in this study with a combination of petrographic observations and carbon isotope analyses. These finegrained carbonate rocks comprise terrigenous, biogenic and diagenetic materials. Terrigenous input and biologically induced precipitation are the main sources of the materials in the lake. Five lithofacies were identified based on the observations of sedimentary features(core and thin section) and mineralogical data:(1) varve-like laminated calcilutite,(2) graded laminated calcilutite,(3) interlaminated calcisiltitecalcilutite,(4) massive calcilutite, and(5) massive calcisiltite-calcarenite. Their origins were recorded by various lithofacies components, which are controlled by the interactions of physical, chemical and biological processes. This study indicated that the lithology of the bedrocks was the key factor controlling carbonate accumulation. The tectonics and climate can influence the weathering and types of lithofacies. Primary productivity controlled the precipitation of the endogenic calcite. 4Boundary-layer transition of advanced fighter wings at high-speed cruise conditions显示文摘The achievement of laminar flow in the boundary layer at high-speed cruise conditions may further, in addition to shock-wave control, reduce the drag and extend the range of military fighter aircraft. To this end, a further investigation on transitional boundary-layer flow of fighter wings is needed due to different configurations from the wings used on conventional transport aircraft. In this paper, wind tunnel experiments and numerical simulations were conducted on three-dimensional transition of thin diamond-shaped wings used on advanced fighter aircraft at tran/supersonic design points. A newly proposed correlation of crossflow transition which includes the effect of surface roughness was introduced into the c-Rehttransition model. Predicted results were in good agreement with flow visualizations. Results showed that the strength of the crossflow component grew rapidly around the leading edge because of the severe flow acceleration, just as the same as wings with a large aspect ratio. However, there seemed no regular pattern of instabilitydominance variation in span-wise for a diamond configuration. The dominance of different instability mechanisms strongly depended on the local pressure distribution. Hereby, the research recommended a ‘‘roof-like' shape of pressure distribution to suppress both crossflow and Tollmien-Schlichting(T-S) instabilities. Besides, a sharp suction peak with a serious pressure rise should be cut off to avoid stronger instabilities. Further discussions also revealed an independence of the unit Reynolds number when transition was triggered by T-S instabilities. 5Photoinduced large polaron transport and dynamics in organic-inorganic hybrid lead halide perovskite with terahertz probes显示文摘Organic-inorganic hybrid metal halide perovskites(MHPs)have attracted tremendous attention for optoelectronic applications.The long photocarrier lifetime and moderate carrier mobility have been proposed as results of the large polaron formation in MHPs.However,it is challenging to measure the effective mass and carrier scattering parameters of the photogenerated large polarons in the ultrafast carrier recombination dynamics.Here,we show,in a one-step spectroscopic method,that the optical-pump and terahertz-electromagnetic probe(OPTP)technique allows us to access the nature of interplay of photoexcited unbound charge carriers and optical phonons in polycrystalline CH_(3)NH_(3)PbI_(3)(MAPbI_(3))of about 10μm grain size.Firstly,we demonstrate a direct spectral evidence of the large polarons in polycrystalline MAPbI_(3).Using the Drude-Smith-Lorentz model along with the Frӧhlich-type electron-phonon(e-ph)coupling,we determine the effective mass and scattering parameters of photogenerated polaronic carriers.We discover that the resulting moderate polaronic carrier mobility is mainly influenced by the enhanced carrier scattering,rather than the polaron mass enhancement.While,the formation of large polarons in MAPbI_(3)polycrystalline grains results in a long charge carrier lifetime at room temperature.Our results provide crucial information about the photo-physics of MAPbI3 and are indispensable for optoelectronic device development with better performance.Zuanming Jin Yan Peng Yuqing Fang Zhijiang Ye Zhiyuan Fan Zhilin Liu Xichang Bao Heng Gao Wei Ren Jing Wu Guohong Ma Qianli Chen Chao Zhang Alexey VBalakin Alexander PShkurinov Yiming Zhu Songlin Zhuang 2022Light(Science & Applications)2022,11,8:4
6Unstable unsteady aerodynamic modeling based on least squares support vector machines with general excitation显示文摘Common,unsteady aerodynamic modeling methods usually use wind tunnel test data from forced vibration tests to predict stable hysteresis loop.However,these methods ignore the initial unstable process of entering the hysteresis loop that exists in the actual maneuvering process of the aircraft.Here,an excitation input suitable for nonlinear system identification is introduced to model unsteady aerodynamic forces with any motion in the amplitude and frequency ranges based on the Least Squares Support Vector Machines(LS-SVMs).In the selection of the input form,avoiding the use of reduced frequency as a parameter makes the model more universal.After model training is completed,the method is applied to predict the lift coefficient,drag coefficient and pitching moment coefficient of the RAE2822 airfoil,in sine and sweep motions under the conditions of plunging and pitching at Mach number 0.8.The predicted results of the initial unstable process and the final stable process are in close agreement with the Computational Fluid Dynamics(CFD)data,demonstrating the feasibility of the model for nonlinear unsteady aerodynamics modeling and the effectiveness of the input design approach.Senlin CHEN Zhenghong GAO Xinqi ZHU Yiming DU Chao PANG 2020Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2020,33,10:4
7Seismic performance evaluation of large-span offshore cable-stayed bridges under non-uniform earthquake excitations including strain rate effect显示文摘This paper presents a novel and precise seismic performance evaluation method for large-span offshore cable-stayed(LSOCS)bridge by considering the strain rate effect of RC materials and the spatial variation effect of seafloor seismic motions. Threedimensional finite element(FE) model of a LSOCS bridge located in the southeast coast of China is constructed in the ABAQUS platform. The non-uniform ground motions at the offshore site beneath the bridge are stochastically simulated and used as seismic inputs. Moreover, a subroutine for considering the rate-dependent properties of RC materials in a fiber-based beamcolumn element model is developed to account for the strain rate effect of RC materials in the nonlinear time-history analysis.The numerical results indicate that seismic responses and fragilities of the LSOCS bridge are both considerably affected by the non-uniform seafloor seismic motions and strain rate effect. 9BUCKLING AND POSTBUCKLING ANALYSIS OF ELASTO-PLASTIC FIBER METAL LAMINATES显示文摘The elasto-plastic buckling and postbuckling of fiber metal laminates(FML) are studied in this research. Considering the geometric nonlinearity of the structure and the elastoplastic deformation of the metal layers, the incremental Von Karman geometric relation of the FML with initial deflection is established. Moreover, an incremental elasto-plastic constitutive relation adopting the mixed hardening rule is introduced to depict the stress-strain relationship of the metal layers. Subsequently, the incremental nonlinear governing equations of the FML subjected to in-plane compressive loads are derived, and the whole problem is solved by the iterative method according to the finite difference method. Based on the unified storage,AWSQIF data have important application in real-time data management,data quality assessment and quality control effect analysis. The results show that the data quality has been improved significantly,and the data assessment has achieved online operating. 11Recent Advances of Monolithic All-Perovskite Tandem Solar Cells:From Materials to Devices显示文摘Organic-inorganic metal-halide perovskite solar cells(PerSCs)have achieved significant progresses due to their outstanding optoelectronic charac-teristics,and the power conversion efficiency(PCE)of single-junction PerSCs has been boosted from 3.8%to a certified 25.2%.However,the efficien-cy of single-junction cells is governed by the Shockley-Queisser(S-Q)radiative limit,and fabricating all-perovskite tandem solar cells is a particularly attractive method to break the S-Q limit.Since the bandgap of lead(Pb)-based mixed halide perovskite can be tuned from 1.55 eV to 2.3 eV,and the mixed tin(Sn)-Pb perovskites have bandgap of~1.2 eV,these perovskites become the best candidates for the front and rear subcells of all-perovskite tandem device,respectively.In this review,we firstly summarize the current development progresses of two-terminal(2-T)all-perovskite tandem so-lar cells.For further optimizing the device performance,the wide bandgap mixed halide perovskites for front subcell,mixed Sn-Pb narrow bandgap perovskites for rear subcell,and the interconnection layer(ICL)of 2-T tandem device are then discussed.This review aims to open a pathway to real-ize highly efficient all-perovskite tandem solar cells.Shan Jiang Yiming Bai Zongwen Ma Shengli Jin Chao Zou Zhao'ao Tan 2022Chinese Journal of Chemistry2022,40,7:2

17Ultra-robust stretchable electrode for e-skin:In situ assembly using a nanofiber scaffold and liquid metal to mimic water-to-net interaction显示文摘The development of stretchable electronics could enhance novel interface structures to solve the stretchability-conductivity dilemma,which remains a major challenge.Herein,we report a nano-liquid metal(LM)-based highly robust stretchable electrode(NHSE)with a self-adaptable interface that mimics water-tonet interaction.Based on the in situ assembly of electrospun elastic nanofiber scaffolds and electrosprayed LM nanoparticles,the NHSE exhibits an extremely low sheet resistance of 52 mΩsq^(-1).It is not only insensitive to a large degree of mechanical stretching(i.e.,350%electrical resistance change upon 570%elongation)but also immune to cyclic deformation(i.e.,5%electrical resistance increases after 330000 stretching cycles with 100%elongation).These key properties are far superior to those of the state-of-the-art reports.Its robustness and stability are verified under diverse circumstances,including long-term exposure to air(420 days),cyclic submersion(30000 times),and resilience against mechanical damages.The combination of conductivity,stretchability,and durability makes the NHSE a promising conductor/electrode solution for flexible/stretchable electronics for applications such as wearable on-body physiological signal detection,human-machine interaction,and heating e-skin.Jinwei Cao Fei Liang Huayang Li Xin Li Youjun Fan Chao Hu Jing Yu Jin Xu Yiming Yin Fali Li Dan Xu Hanfang Feng Huali Yang Yiwei Liu Xiaodong Chen Guang Zhu Run-Wei Li 2022InfoMat2022,4,4:1

19Machine learning-based solubility prediction and methodology evaluation of active pharmaceutical ingredients in industrial crystallization显示文摘Solubility has been widely regarded as a fundamental property of small molecule drugs and drug candidates,as it has a profound impact on the crystallization process.Solubility prediction,as an alternative to experiments which can reduce waste and improve crystallization process efficiency,has attracted increasing attention.However,there are still many urgent challenges thus far.Herein we used seven descriptors based on understanding dissolution behavior to establish two solubility prediction models by machine learning algorithms.The solubility data of 120 active pharmaceutical ingredients(APIs)in ethanol were considered in the prediction models,which were constructed by random decision forests and artificial neural network with optimized data structure and model accuracy.Furthermore,a comparison with traditional prediction methods including the modified solubility equation and the quantitative structure-property relationships model was carried out.The highest accuracy shown by the testing set proves that the ML models have the best solubility prediction ability.Multiple linear regression and stepwise regression were used to further investigate the critical factor in determining solubility value.The results revealed that the API properties and the solute-solvent interaction both provide a nonnegligible contribution to the solubility value.Yiming Ma Zhenguo Gao Peng Shi Mingyang Chen Songgu Wu Chao Yang Jing-Kang Wang Jingcai Cheng Junbo Gong 2022Frontiers of Chemical Science and Engineering2022,16,4:1
