4Challenges and strategies in high-accuracy manufacturing of the world’s largest SiC aspheric mirror显示文摘In the process of manufacturing the world’s largest silicon carbide(SiC)aspheric mirror,the primary difficulties are mirror blank preparation,asphere fabrication,and testing,as well as cladding and coating.Specifically,the challenges include the homogeneity of the complicated structure casting,accuracy and efficiency of the fabrication process,print-through effect,fidelity and precision of test procedure,stress and denseness of cladding process,the dynamic range of interferometric measurement,and air turbulence error due to the long optical path.To break through such a barrier of difficulties,we proposed the water-soluble room temperature vanishing mold and gel casting technology,homogeneous microstructure reaction-formed joint technology,nano-accuracy efficient compound fabrication,gravity unloading technology,high-denseness low-defect physical vapor deposition(PVD)Si-cladding technology,test data fusion method,and time-domain averaging method,etc.Based on the proposed technologies and methods,we have accomplished the world’s largest SiC aspheric mirror with a size of φ4.03 m.The impressive performance of the SiC aspheric mirror is validated by the characteristics of the fabricated SiC aspheric mirror.The aerial density of the SiC blank is less than 120 kg/m^(2),surface shape test accuracy is better than 6 nm RMS,thickness inhomogeneity of the cladding layer is less than 5%,and the final surface figure error and roughness are 15.2 nm RMS and 0.8 nm RMS,respectively.Xuejun Zhang Haixiang Hu Xiaokun Wang Xiao Luo Ge Zhang Wenxing Zhao Xiaoyi Wang Zhenyu Liu Ling Xiong Erhui Qi Congcong Cui Yanchao Wang Yingjie Li Xu Wang Longxiang Li Yang Bai Qiang Cheng Zhiyu Zhang Ruigang Li Wa Tang Xuefeng Zeng Weijie Deng Feng Zhang 2022Light(Science & Applications)2022,11,12:3
5Designing heterostructured FeP–CoP for oxygen evolution reaction:Interface engineering to enhance electrocatalytic performance显示文摘It is significant to develop highly efficient electrocatalysts for energy conversion systems.Interface engineering is one of the most feasible approaches to effectively enhance the electrocatalytic activity.Herein,the density functional theory(DFT)calculations predict that the potential barriers of Fe sites at the interface of FeP–CoP heterostructures are lower than that of Fe sites in FeP nanoparticles(NPs),Co sites in CoP NPs,or Co sites in heterostructures.Motivated by the DFT calculation results,FeP–CoP heterostructures have been designed and synthesized by a metal–organic frameworks(MOFs)confined-phosphorization method.The FeP–CoP exhibits the lowest overpotential of 230 mV at the current density of 10 mA·cm^(−2)for oxygen evolution reaction(OER),compared with FeP(470 mV)and CoP(340 mV),which outperforms most of transition metal-based catalysts.The Tafel analysis of FeP–CoP heterostructures shows an improved reaction kinetic pathway with the smallest slope of 90.3 mV·dec^(−1),as compared to the Tafel slopes of FeP NPs(137 mV·dec^(−1))and CoP NPs(114 mV·dec^(−1)).And the FeP–CoP shows extraordinary long-term stability over 24 h.The excellent activity and long-term stability of FeP–CoP derive from the synergistic effect between FeP and CoP.Shuang Hou Ansai Zhang Qi Zhou Yingjie Wen Sixie Zhang Linfeng Su Xinjie Huang Tian Wang Kun Rui Cheng Wang Huiling Liu Zhiyi Lu Peilei He 2023Nano Research2023,16,5:2
6Degradation of tartrazine by peroxymonosulfate through magnetic Fe_(2)O_(3)/Mn_(2)O_(3) composites activation显示文摘In this study,Fe_(2)O_(3)/Mn_(2)O_(3) composite was synthesized by a facile two-step technique,and several methods were carried out to characterize it.Then,the decomposition experiments of tartrazine(TTZ),a kind of refractory o rganic pollutant,were conducted under various enviro nmental condition to detect the catalyst performance,such as reaction system,the dosage of catalyst,peroxymonosulfate(PMS)concentration,initial pH,different natural water substances.The results exhibited that Fe_(2)O_(3)/Mn_(2)O_(3) composite with the mole rate 2:3 had the best PMS activation performance and the removal efficiency was 97.3%within 30 min.Besides,the optimum degradation conditions of TTZ we re also discussed,that is catalyst dosage(0.6 g/L),PMS concentration(0.8 g/L)and the initial pH 11.In addition,proved by the natural water substances adding experiments,HPO_(4)^(2)-,HCO_(3)^-,NO_(3)^-and NOM(nature organic matter)could slow down the experiments progressing,but Cl^-could boost it.Then inhibitor experiments indicated both the HO^·and SO_(4)^·-played a vital role in the experiments.Reusability and ions leaching experiments as well as the used catalyst physical characte rization images exhibited the excellent stability and cyclicity of the Fe_(2)O_(3)/Mn_(2)O_(3) composite.Finally,based on the XPS(X-ray photoelectro n spectro scopy)and the experiments results,the possible mechanism of TTZ degradation was proposed.This system might provide a novel thought for the decomposition of refractory organic pollutant and had potential in promotion of actual sewage treatment technology.Gong Chen Li-Chao Nengzi Yingjie Gao Guixian Zhu Jianfeng Gou Xiuwen Cheng 2020Chinese Chemical Letters2020,31,10:2

11Ultra-thin CoAl layered double hydroxide nanosheets for the construction of highly sensitive and selective QCM humidity sensor显示文摘To achieve real-time monitoring of humidity in various applications,we prepared facile and ultra-thin CoAl layered double hydroxide(CoAl LDH)nanosheets to engineer quartz crystal microbalances(QCM).The characteristics of CoAl LDH were investigated by transmission electron microscopy(TEM),X-ray diffraction(XRD),X-ray photoelectric spectroscopy(XPS),Brunauer–Emmett–Telle(BET),atomic force microscopy(AFM)and zeta potential.Due to their large specific surface area and abundant hydroxyl groups,CoAl LDH nanosheets exhibit good humidity sensing performance.In a range of 11.3%and 97.6%relative humidity(RH),the sensor behaved an ultrahigh sensitivity(127.8 Hz/%RH),fast response(9.1 s)and recovery time(3.1 s),low hysteresis(3.1%RH),good linearity(R^(2)=0.9993),stability and selectivity.Besides,the sensor can recover the initial response frequency after being wetted by deionized water,revealing superior self-recovery ability under high humidity.Based on in-situ Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR),the adsorption mechanism of CoAl LDH toward water molecules was explored.The QCM sensor can distinguish different respiratory states of people and wetting degree of fingers,as well as monitor the humidity in vegetable packaging,suggesting excellent properties and a promising application in humidity sensing.Yongheng Zhu Xuhua Dong Jinsheng Cheng Lumin Wang Cheng Zhao Yonghui Deng Siqi Xie Yingjie Pan Yong Zhao Gengzhi Sun Tianjun Ni 2023Chinese Chemical Letters2023,34,8:1

18A novel inactivated whole-cell Pseudomonas aeruginosa vaccine that acts through the cGAS-STING pathway显示文摘Pseudomonas aeruginosa infection continues to be a major threat to global public health,and new safe and efficacious vaccines are needed for prevention of infections caused by P.aeruginosa.X-ray irradiation has been used to prepare whole-cell inactivated vaccines against P.aeruginosa infection.However,the immunological mechanisms of X-ray-inactivated vaccines are still unclear and require further investigation.Our previous study found that an X-ray-inactivated whole-cell vaccine could provide protection against P.aeruginosa by boosting T cells.The aim of the present study was to further explore the immunological mechanisms of the vaccine.Herein,P.aeruginosa PAO1,a widely used laboratory strain,was utilized to prepare the vaccine,and we found nucleic acids and 8-hydroxyguanosine in the supernatant of X-ray-inactivated PAO1(XPa).By detecting CD86,CD80,and MHCII expression,we found that XPa fostered dentritic cell(DC)maturation by detecting.XPa stimulated the cGAS-STING pathway as well as Toll-like receptors in DCs in vitro,and DC finally underwent apoptosis and pyroptosis after XPa stimulation.In addition,DC stimulated by XPa induced CD8+T-cell proliferation in vitro and generated immunologic memory in vivo.Moreover,XPa vaccination induced both Th1 and Th2 cytokine responses in mice and reduced the level of inflammatory factors during infection.XPa protected mice in pneumonia models from infection with PAO1 or multidrug-resistant clinical isolate W9.Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD)mice immunized with XPa could resist PAO1 infection.Therefore,a new mechanism of an X-ray-inactivated whole-cell vaccine against P.aeruginosa infection was discovered in this study.Cuicui Ma Xiao Ma Boguang Jiang Hailong Pan Xueyuan Liao Li Zhang Wenfang Li Yingjie Luo Zhixue Shen Xingjun Cheng Mao Lian Zhenling Wang 2021Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2021,6,11:0
19Ethyl esters enhancement of Jinchuan pear wine studied by coculturing Saccharomyces bayanus with Torulaspora delbrueckii and their community and interaction characteristics显示文摘To enhance the fruity flavour of pear wine by coculturing Saccharomyces yeasts with non-Saccharomyces,the coculture patterns were optimised based on the effect of different strains on the physicochemical properties and metabolites,and the interaction relationship in the coculture fermentation was also studied.These results showed that total volatiles of S.bayanus were higher than those of S.cerevisiae,especially esters,acids and phenols.The contents of total volatiles and esters were enhanced by sequential inoculation.The effect of coculturing S.bayanus Y4 with T.delbrueckii Y7 or Pichia sp.was better than that of coculturing with them with S.cerevisiae Y1,enhancing the contents of phenylethanol,acetate and ethyl esters.Furthermore,the esters(mainly ethyl esters)content was increased by 53.30%,and the acids content was decreased by 32.82%when S.bayanus Y4 was cocultured with T.delbrueckii Y7 by sequential inoculation compared with S.bayanus Y4 single inoculation.Their coculture increased theα-diversity of the fungal community and changed the correlation network between the microbiota.Redundancy analysis showed that Torulaspora was closely correlated to ethyl hexanoate,ethyl decanoate and ethyl 9-decenoate,while Saccharomyces was associated with hexanoic acid and octanoic acid.PICRUSt2 prediction revealed that Torulaspora may utilize the fatty acids produced by Saccharomyces to synthesize fatty acid ethyl esters.Jian Liu Miao Liu Pian Ye Cheng He Yingjie Liu Suyi Zhang Jun Huang Jun Zhou Rongqing Zhou Liang Cai 2022Food Bioscience2022,46,2:0
20Effects of freeze-thaw cycles on physicochemical properties and structure of cooked crayfish (Procambarus clarkii)显示文摘To explore the damage mechanisms of freeze-thaw cycles on cooked crayfish in frozen storage, changes in the phys-icochemical properties and structure of cooked crayfish during the freeze-thaw cycles were investigated. The phys-icochemical properties of cooked crayfish changed significantly after five freeze-thaw cycles. The moisture content, water holding capacity, pH, and textural properties were decreased, while the total color difference, drip loss, and pro-tein and lipid oxidation were significantly increased (P < 0.05). LF-NMR and MRI verified the water loss, and SDS-PAGE showed denaturation/degradation of myofibrillar proteins (MPs). Multiple freeze-thaw cycles promoted the transition from α-helix to β-turn in the secondary structure, the unfolding of tertiary structure, and a significant change in the chemical forces of MPs. SEM results revealed a disruption in the microstructure of muscle fibers.
