4Synthesis of an ordered porous carbon with the dual nitrogen-doped interfaces and its ORR catalysis performance显示文摘Both nitrogen-doping feature and pore structure are critical factors for developing nitrogen-doped carbons based catalysts with a high performance toward oxygen reduction reaction(ORR).Herein,a simple one-step CVD of acetylene and acetonitrile vapor method using silanized SBA-15 as a template has been developed to synthesize an ordered porous carbon(OPC) with dual nitrogen-doped interfaces.The optimized sample as prepared with the CVD of 4 h at 750℃ contains two types of ordered mesopores that one type is the ordered cylindrical pores inheriting from the pores of SBA-15 and has a pore width of4.0~5.0 nm,the other type is the ordered quasi-hexagonal pores with a width of 3.0~4.0 nm produced by etching the pore walls of SBA-15.These two types of pores whose pore walls are built by the nitrogen doped carbon layers resulted by the CVD and thus it actually makes the dual nitrogen-doped interfaced OPC(DN-OPC).Meanwhile,DN-OPC contains a few of micropores and a large SSA of 1430 m~2/g.This dualordered pores and dual nitrogen-doped interfaces cannot only facilitate mass transport but also utilize the active sites of DN-OPC for ORR.Therefore,as metal-free ORR catalyst,DN-OPC exhibits a good activity close to commercial Pt/C catalyst,and an excellent durability and methanol tolerance.Hongwei Zhao Yanqiu Zhang Li Lixiang Xin Geng Haiming Yang Weimin Zhou Chengguo Sun Baigang An 2021Chinese Chemical Letters2021,32,1:2

7Specific Regulation of m^(6)A by SRSF7 Promotes the Progression of Glioblastoma显示文摘Serine/arginine-rich splicing factor 7(SRSF7),a known splicing factor,has been revealed to play oncogenic roles in multiple cancers.However,the mechanisms underlying its oncogenic roles have not been well addressed.Here,based on N6-methyladenosine(m^(6)A)co-methylation network analysis across diverse cell lines,we find that the gene expression of SRSF7 is positively correlated with glioblastoma(GBM)cell-specific m^(6)A methylation.We then indicate that SRSF7 is a novel m^(6)A regulator,which specifically facilitates the m^(6)A methylation near its binding sites on the mRNAs involved in cell proliferation and migration,through recruiting the methyltransferase complex.Moreover,SRSF7 promotes the proliferation and migration of GBM cells largely dependent on the presence of the m^(6)A methyltransferase.The two m^(6)A sites on the mRNA for PDZ-binding kinase(PBK)are regulated by SRSF7 and partially mediate the effects of SRSF7 in GBM cells through recognition by insulin-like growth factor 2 mRNA-binding protein 2(IGF2BP2).Together,our discovery reveals a novel role of SRSF7 in regulating m^(6)A and validates the presence and functional importance of temporal-and spatial-specific regulation of m^(6)A mediated by RNA-binding proteins(RBPs).Yixian Cun Sanqi An Haiqing Zheng Jing Lan Wenfang Chen Wanjun Luo Chengguo Yao Xincheng Li Xiang Huang Xiang Sun Zehong Wu Yameng Hu Ziwen Li Shuxia Zhang Geyan Wu Meisongzhu Yang Miaoling Tang Ruyuan Yu Xinyi Liao Guicheng Gao Wei Zhao Jinkai Wang Jun Li 2023Genomics, Proteomics & Bioinformatics2023,21,4:1

15Protective effects of IRG1/itaconate on acute colitis through the inhibition of gasdermins-mediated pyroptosis and inflammation response显示文摘Inflammatory bowel disease(IBD)is a chronic relapsing gastrointestinal disorder,while the treatment effect is not satisfactory.Immune responsive gene 1(IRG1)is a highly ex-pressed gene in macrophage in response to inflammatory response and catalyzes the production of itaconate.Studies have reported that IRG1/itaconate has a significant antioxidant effect.This study aimed to investigate the effect and mechanism of IRG1/itaconate on dextran sulfate so-dium(DSS)-induced colitis in vivo and in vitro.In vivo experiments,we found IRG1/itaconate ex-erted protective effects against acute colitis by increasing mice weight,the length of colon,reducing disease activity index and colonic inflammation.Meanwhile,IRG1 deletion aggravated the macrophages/CD4+/CD8+T-cell accumulation,and increased the release of interleukin(IL)-1b,tumor necrosis factor-a(TNF-a),IL-6,the activation of nuclear factor-kB(NF-kB)/mitogen-activated protein kinase(MAPK)signaling pathway,and gasdermin D(GSDMD)mediated pyrop-tosis.Four-octyl itaconate(4-OI),a derivative of itaconate,attenuated these changes,therefore relieved DSS-induced colitis.In vitro experiment,we found 4-OI inhibited the reactive oxygen species production,thereby inhibiting the activation of MAPK/NF-kB signaling pathway in RAW264.7 and murine bone-marrow-derived macrophages.Simultaneously,we found 4-OI inhib-ited caspase1/GSDMD-mediated pyroptosis to reduce the release of cytokines.Finally,we found anti-TNF-a agent reduced the severity of DSS-induced colitis and inhibited gasdermin E(GSDME)-mediated pyroptosis in vivo.Meanwhile,our study revealed that 4-OI inhibited caspase3/GSDME-mediated pyroptosis induced by TNF-a in vitro.Taken together,IRG1/itaconate exerted a pro-tective role in DSS-induced colitis by inhibiting inflammatory response and GSDMD/GSDME-medi-ated pyroptosis,which could be a promising candidate for IBD therapy.Wenchang Yang Yaxin Wang Tao Wang Chengguo Li Liang Shi Peng Zhang Yuping Yin Kaixiong Tao Ruidong Li 2023Genes & Diseases2023,10,4:0
16PLSCR1 promotes apoptosis and clearance of retinal ganglion cells in glaucoma pathogenesis显示文摘Glaucoma is the leading cause of irreversible blindness worldwide.In the pathogen-esis of glaucoma,activated microglia can lead to retinal ganglion cells(RGCs)apoptosis and death,however,the molecular mechanisms remain largely unknown.We demonstrate that phospholipid scramblase 1(PLSCR1)is a key regulator promoting RGCs apoptosis and their clearance by microglia.As evidenced in retinal progenitor cells and RGCs of the acute ocular hypertension(AOH)mouse model,overexpressed PLSCR1 induced its translocation from the nucleus to the cytoplasm and cytomembrane,as well as elevated phosphatidylserine exposure and reactive oxygen species generation with subsequent RGCs apoptosis and death.These damages were effectively attenuated by PLSCR1 inhibition.In the AOH model,PLSCR1 led to an increase in M1 type microglia activation and retinal neuroinflammation.Upregulation of PLSCR1 resulted in strongly elevated phagocytosis of apoptotic RGCs by activated microglia.Taken together,our study provides important insights linking activated microglia to RGCs death in the glaucoma pathogenesis and other RGC-related neurodegenerative diseases.Jingyi Luo Qing Lian Deliang Zhu Minglei Zhao Tingfang Mei Bizhi Shang Zeqiu Yang Chujun Liu Wenchang Xu Lan Zhou Keling Wu Xinqi Liu Yuhua Lai Fuxiang Mao Weihua Li Chengguo Zuo Kang Zhang Mingkai Lin Yehong Zhuo Yizhi Liu Lin Lu Ling Zhao 2023Genes & Diseases2023,10,4:0
173-82 Study of Particle Fragments and Its Contribution in Carbon Ion Therapy显示文摘Carbon ions offer significant advantages for deep-seated local tumors therapy due to their physical and biologicalproperties, for heavy ions has a fixed range in the target matter, and characterized by a small entrance dose anda distinct maximum (Bragg peak) near the end of range. In 2006, IMP carried out some heavy ion cancer therapyexperiments. During the process of carbon ions cancer therapy, various kinds of secondary particle fragments arecreated from heavy ion reaction which will influence the treatment dose and healthy tissue of patient. Neutron isthe most abundant secondary particles in heavy ion reaction, which may influence largely patient body due to itsstrong penetrating power. Thus it is important to know the neutron contribution in heavy ion therapy to evaluatethe neutron impact and assess the patient safety. 18Electrochemical capacitance-voltage characterization of plasma-doped ultra-shallow junctions显示文摘Ultra-shallow Si p^(+)n junctions formed by plasma doping are characterized by electrochemical capacitance-voltage(ECV).By comparing ECV results with those of secondary ion mass spectroscopy(SIMS),it is found that the dopant concentration profiles in heavily-doped p+layer as well as junction depths measured by ECV are in good agreement with those measured by SIMS.However,the ECV measurement of dopant concentration in the underlying lightly doped n-type substrate is significantly influenced by the upper heavily-doped layer.The ECV technique is also easy to control and reproduce.The ECV results of ultra-shallow junctions(USJ)formed by plasma doping followed by different annealing processes show that ECV is capable of reliably characterizing a Si USJ with junction depth as low as 10 nm,and dopant concentration up to 10^(21) cm^(-3).Also,its depth resolution can be as fine as 1 nm.Therefore,it shows great potential in application for characterizing USJ in the sub-65 nm technology node CMOS devices.Huizhen WU Guoping RU Yonggang ZHANG Chengguo JIN Bunji MIZUNO Yulong JIANG Xinping QU Bingzong LI 2008Frontiers of Electrical and Electronic Engineering in China2008,3,1:0
