1Coexpression network analysis reveals an MYB transcriptional activator involved in capsaicinoid biosynthesis in hot peppers显示文摘Plant biosynthesis involves numerous specialized metabolites with diverse chemical natures and biological activities.The biosynthesis of metabolites often exclusively occurs in response to tissue-specific combinatorial developmental cues that are controlled at the transcriptional level.Capsaicinoids are a group of specialized metabolites that confer a pungent flavor to pepper fruits.Capsaicinoid biosynthesis occurs in the fruit placenta and combines its developmental cues.Although the capsaicinoid biosynthetic pathway has been largely characterized,the regulatory mechanisms that control capsaicinoid metabolism have not been fully elucidated.In this study,we combined fruit placenta transcriptome data with weighted gene coexpression network analysis(WGCNA)to generate coexpression networks.A capsaicinoid-related gene module was identified in which the MYB transcription factor CaMYB48 plays a critical role in regulating capsaicinoid in pepper.Capsaicinoid biosynthetic gene(CBG)and CaMYB48 expression primarily occurs in the placenta and is consistent with capsaicinoid biosynthesis.CaMYB48 encodes a nucleus-localized protein that primarily functions as a transcriptional activator through its C-terminal activation motif.CaMYB48 regulates capsaicinoid biosynthesis by directly regulating the expression of CBGs,including AT3a and KasIa.Taken together,the results of this study indicate ways to generate robust networks optimized for the mining of CBG-related regulators,establishing a foundation for future research elucidating capsaicinoid regulation.Binmei Sun Xin Zhou Changming Chen Chengjie Chen Kunhao Chen Muxi Chen Shaoqun Liu Guoju Chen Bihao Cao Fanrong Cao Jianjun Lei Zhangsheng Zhu 2020Horticulture Research2020,7,1:5
2Slag-Resistance of MgAlON Spinel显示文摘The slag-resistance and microstructural changes after the slag tests of MgAlON spinel containing different amount of nitrogenwere studied by means of crucible slag-resistant experiment, SEM and EDS in the work. The results show that the slag-resistance ofMgAlON is dependent on the nitrogen content, and the optimum amount is 2.88%. The strUcture is not changed although the grains havebeen permeated by some silicon, calcium and iron. 3Effects of investor sentiment on stock volatility:new evidences from multi-source data in China’s green stock markets显示文摘The effect of investor sentiment on stock volatility is a highly attractive research question in both the academic field and the real financial industry.With the proposal of China’s'dual carbon'target,green stocks have gradually become an essential branch of Chinese stock markets.Focusing on 106 stocks from the new energy,environmental protection,and carbon–neutral sectors,we construct two investor sentiment proxies using Internet text and stock trading data,respectively.The Internet sentiment is based on posts from Eastmoney Guba,and the trading sentiment comes from a variety of trading indicators.In addition,we divide the realized volatility into continuous and jump parts,and then investigate the effects of investor sentiment on different types of volatilities.Our empirical findings show that both sentiment indices impose significant positive impacts on realized,continuous,and jump volatilities,where trading sentiment is the main factor.We further explore the mediating effect of information asymmetry,measured by the volume-synchronized probability of informed trading(VPIN),on the path of investor sentiment affecting stock volatility.It is evidenced that investor sentiments are positively correlated with the VPIN,and they can affect volatilities through the VPIN.We then divide the total sample around the coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)pandemic.The empirical results reveal that the market volatility after the COVID-19 pandemic is more susceptible to investor sentiments,especially to Internet sentiment.Our study is of great significance for maintaining the stability of green stock markets and reducing market volatility.Yang Gao Chengjie Zhao Bianxia Sun Wandi Zhao 2022Financial Innovation2022,8,1:2
4Role of MXene surface terminations in electrochemical energy storage:A review显示文摘MXenes are a group of recently discovered 2D materials and have attracted extensive attention since their first report in 2011;they have shown excellent prospects for energy storage applications owing to their unique layered microstructure and tunable electrical properties.One major feature of MXenes is their tailorable surface terminations(e.g.,-F,-O,-OH).Numerous studies have indicated that the composition of the surface terminations can significantly impact the electrochemical properties of MXenes.Nonetheless,the underlying mechanisms are still poorly understood,mainly because of the difficulties in quantitative analysis and characterization.This review summarizes the latest research progress on MXene terminations.First,a systematic introduction to the approaches for preparing MXenes is presented,which generally dominates the surface terminations.Then,theoretical and experimental efforts regarding the surface terminations are discussed,and the influence of surface terminations on the electronic and electrochemical properties of MXenes are generalized.Finally,we present the significance and research prospects of MXene terminations.We expect this review to encourage research on MXenes and provide guidance for usingthese materials for batteries and supercapacitors.Zhuoheng Bao Chengjie Lu Xin Cao Peigen Zhang Li Yang Heng Zhang Dawei Sha Wei He Wei Zhang Long Pan Zhengming Sun 2021Chinese Chemical Letters2021,32,9:2
5Effect of Soil C,N and P Stoichiometry on Soil Organic C Fractions After Afforestation显示文摘Afforestation is recognized as an important driving force for soil organic C(SOC) dynamics and soil element cycling.To evaluate the relationships between soil C:N:P stoichiometry and SOC fractions,soil C:N:P stoichiometry distributions at 0–200 cm soil depths were analyzed and the contents of SOC fractions were evaluated in 9 typical land-use systems on the Loess Plateau of China.The contents of light fraction organic C,particulate organic C(>53,53–2 000,and>2 000 μm),labile organic C,microbial biomass C,and dissolved organic C decreased with increasing soil depth and were higher in afforested soil than in slope cropland soil.Compared with the slope cropland,different vegetation types influenced soil C:N,C:P,and N:P ratios,especially when C:P and N:P ratios were significantly higher(P<0.05).Moreover,SOC fractions at the 0–10 and 10–40 cm depths were particularly affected by soil C:P ratio,whereas those at the 40–100 and 100–200 cm soil depths were significantly affected(P<0.05) by soil N:P ratio.These results indicate that changes in SOC fractions are largely driven by soil C:P and N:P ratios at different soil depths after afforestation.ZHAO Fazhu ZHANG Lu SUN Jiao REN Chengjie HAN Xinhui YANG Gaihe PANG Guowei BAI Hongying WANG Jun 2017Pedosphere2017,27,4:1

11Endogenous biosynthesis of docosahexaenoic acid(DHA)regulates fish oocyte maturation by promoting pregnenolone production显示文摘Omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids(n-3 PUFAs),particularly docosahexaenoic acid(22:6n-3,DHA),play crucial roles in the reproductive health of vertebrates,including humans.Nevertheless,the underlying mechanism related to this phenomenon remains largely unknown.In this study,we employed two zebrafish genetic models,i.e.,elovl2^(-/-)mutant as an endogenous DHAdeficient model and fat1(omega-3 desaturase encoding gene)transgenic zebrafish as an endogenous DHA-rich model,to investigate the effects of DHA on oocyte maturation and quality.Results show that the elovl2^(-/-)mutants had much lower fecundity and poorer oocyte quality than the wild-type controls,while the fat1 zebrafish had higher fecundity and better oocyte quality than wildtype controls.DHA deficiency in elovl2^(-/-)embryos led to defects in egg activation,poor microtubule stability,and reduced pregnenolone levels.Further study revealed that DHA promoted pregnenolone synthesis by enhancing transcription of cyp11a1,which encodes the cholesterol side-chain cleavage enzyme,thereby stabilizing microtubule assembly during oogenesis.In turn,the hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal axis was enhanced by DHA.In conclusion,using two unique genetic models,our findings demonstrate that endogenously synthesized DHA promotes oocyte maturation and quality by promoting pregnenolone production via transcriptional regulation of cyp11a1.Yi Li Xuehui Li Ding Ye Ru Zhang Chengjie Liu Mudan He Houpeng Wang Wei Hu Yonghua Sun 2024Zoological Research2024,45,1:0

13Operation Strategy Analysis and Configuration Optimization of Solar CCHP System显示文摘This paper proposed a new type of combined cooling heating and power(CCHP)system,including the parabolic trough solar thermal(PTST)power generation and gas turbine power generation.The thermal energy storage subsystem in the PTST unit provides both thermal energy and electrical energy.Based on the life cycle method,the configuration optimization under eight operation strategies is studied with the economy,energy,and environment indicators.The eight operation strategies include FEL,FEL-EC,FEL-TES,FEL-TES&EC,FTL,FTL-EC,FTL-TES,and FTL-TES&EC.The feasibility of each strategy is verified by taking a residential building cluster as an example.The indicators under the optimal configuration of each strategy are compared with that of the separate production(SP)system.The results showed that the PTST-CCHP system improves the environment and energy performance by changing the ratio of thermal energy and electric energy.The environment and energy indicators of FEL-TES&EC are superior to those of FTL-TES&EC in summer,and the results are just the opposite in winter.The initial annual investment of the PTST-CCHP system is higher than that of the SP system,but its economic performance is better than that of the SP system with the increase of life-cycle.Duojin Fan Chengji Shi Kai Sun Xiaojuan Lu 2021Energy Engineering2021,118,4:0
