1Relationships Between Yield, Quality and Nitrogen Uptake and Utilization of Organically Grown Rice Varieties显示文摘Due to the relatively late start of organic rice(Oryza sativa L.) research in China,there is a still lack of systematic research on rice varieties,organic fertilizer management practices,and especially the mechanisms of nitrogen(N) uptake and utilization.Three rice varieties,Nanjing 5055,Nanjing 9108,and Nanjing 46,were grown under organic farming(OF) at three organic fertilizer levels(103.2,160.8,and 218.4 kg N ha^(-1)) and conventional farming(CF) with regular chemical fertilizers.Rice grain yields,yield components,and quality,dry matter accumulation,and plant N were measured at different growth stages during the 2012 and 2013 growing seasons.Compared with CF,OF had a significantly reduced yield.Nanjing 9108 showed significant reductions in number of panicles per unit area and percentage of filled grains,and had the lowest yield.The effects of fertilizer type and application rate on dry matter accumulation during the main growth periods were significant for all varieties.The N content and uptake in organically grown rice were lower compared with those of rice under CF.The N recovery efficiency and N agronomic efficiency were significantly lower,whereas N physiological efficiency and N partial factor productivity were greater under OF than under CF.Under OF,the processing quality showed a slight but insignificant decline,protein content and gel consistency increased,and amylose content decreased compared with those under CF.Correlation analysis showed that under OF,grain yield was significantly correlated with N uptake.The medium organic fertilizer level(160.8 kg N ha^(-1)) was found to be the optimum fertilizer treatment,and Nanjing 46 appeared to be the best variety for organic rice cultivation.To increase rice grain yields and reduce the potential risk of non-point source pollution in organic agriculture,further research is needed to improve the N use efficiency in organic rice cultivation.HUANG Lifen YU Jun YANG Jie ZHANG Rong BAI Yanchao SUN Chengming ZHUANG Hengyang 2016Pedosphere2016,26,1:11

4Phosphate-induced interfacial electronic engineering in VPO_(4)-Ni_(2)P heterostructure for improved electrochemical water oxidation显示文摘Anodic oxygen evolution reaction(OER)is the key bottleneck for water electrolysis technique owing to its sluggish reaction kinetics.Interfacial engineering on the rationally designed heterostructure can regulate the electronic states efficiently for intrinsic activity improvement.Here,we report a co-phosphorization approach to construct a VPO_(4)-Ni_(2)P heterostructure on nickel foam with strongly chemical binding,wherein phosphate acts as electronic modifier for Ni_(2)P electrocatalyst.Profiting from the interfacial interaction,it is uncovered that electron shifts from Ni_(2)P to VPO_(4)to render valence increment in Ni species.Such an electronic manipulation rationalizes the chemical affinities of various oxygen intermediates in OER pathway,giving a substantially reduced energy barrier.As a result,the advanced VPO_(4)-Ni_(2)P heterostructure only requires an overpotential of 289 mV to deliver a high current density of 350 mA/cm^(2)for OER in alkaline electrolyte,together with a Tafel slope as low as 28 mV/dec.This work brings fresh insights into interfacial engineering for advanced electrocatalyst design.Kun Chen Keke Mao Yu Bai Delong Duan Shuangming Chen Chengming Wang Ning Zhang Ran Long Xiaojun Wu Li Song Yujie Xiong 2022Chinese Chemical Letters2022,33,1:1

8Molecular Engineering of g-C_(3)N_(4)with Dibenzothiophene Groups as Electron Donor for Enhanced Photocatalytic H_(2)-Production显示文摘The construction of donor-acceptor(D-A)molecular structure is an attractive strategy to enhance the photocatalytic performance of polymeric semiconductors.Herein,dibenzothiophene(DBT)-4-carbaldehyde as the precursor is introduced into g-C_(3)N_(4)(TCN)prepared by two-step thermal polymerization to construct an intramolecular D-A type copolymer(TCN-DBT_(x)).DFT calculation and experimental results reveal that DBT plays the role of electron donor unit to modify g-C_(3)N_(4).The incorporation of DBT not only adjusts the band gap to improve reduction ability,but also induces an internal electric field with extendingπ-conjugated system for effective charge transfer.As a result,TCN-DBT_(x)exhibits much better photocatalytic performance with an optimal hydrogen production rate of 3334μmol h^(-1)g^(-1),which is 2.5 times that of TCN.This work provides a protocol for preparing high-performance g-C_(3)N_(4)-based photocatalysts toward various applications.Shanren Tao Sijie Wan Qinyang Huang Chengming Li Jiaguo Yu Shaowen Cao 2022Chinese Journal of Structural Chemistry2022,41,6:1
9Therapeutic effect of ketogenic diet treatment on type 2 diabetes显示文摘Diet plays an important role in diabetes development.The effect of ketogenic diet on type 2 diabetes remains elusive.In this study,we collect diabetes related physiological parameters and abdominal MRI images to evaluate the effect of ketogenic diet after 3-months of consecutive treatment.Ketogenic diet mitigates the diabetes symptom inferring from the statistically significant reduction of key diabetic physiological parameters such as Hemoglobin A1c(HbA1c)concentration,Triglyceride(TG),Fasting blood glucose(FBG),Body Mass Index(BMI),and adipose tissue volume.Moreover,we propose a new parameter to quantify the treating effect of ketogenic diet since Slope and Offset of Oral Glucose Tolerance Test(SOOGTT)incorporate more sampling points by fitting OGTT(Oral Glucose Tolerance Test)curve.SOOGTT shows statistically significant(P<0.001)treating effect of ketogenic diet on type 2 diabetes.We use artificial intelligence to segment adipose tissue for treatment evaluation,which shows that ketogenic diet reduces the amount of adipose tissue.Fang Li Yang Shen Qun Chen Xingyu Li Hongnan Yang Canyang Zhang Jinjun Lin Zhicheng Du Chenyao Jiang Chengming Yang Dongmei Yu Peiwu Qin 2022Journal of Future Foods2022,2,2:0

11A hybrid ensemble deep reinforcement learning model for locomotive axle temperature using the deterministic and probabilistic strategy显示文摘This paper proposes a hybrid deep reinforcement learning framework for locomotive axle temperature by combining the wavelet packet decomposition(WPD),long short-term memory(LSTM),gated recurrent unit(GRU)reinforcement learning and generalized autoregressive conditional heteroskedasticity(GARCH)algorithms.The WPD is utilized to decompose the raw nonlinear series into subseries.Then the deep learning predictors LSTM and GRU are established to predict the future axle temperatures in each subseries.The Q-learning could generate optimal ensembleweights to integrate the predictors to finish the deterministic forecasting and GARCH is used to conduct the deterministic forecasting based on the deterministic forecasting residual.These parts of the hybrid ensemble structure contributed to optimal modelling accuracy and provided effective support in the real-time monitoring and fault diagnosis of transportation.Guangxi Yan Hui Liu Chengqing Yu Chengming Yu Ye Li Zhu Duan 2023Transportation Safety and Environment2023,5,3:0
12Highly Efficient White Organic Light-emitting Devices with Optimized Electron Transporting Layers显示文摘We fabricated three phosphorescent blue organic light-emitting devices based on blue phosphor of iri-dium(Ⅲ) bis[(4,6-difluorophenyl)-pyridinato-N,C2'](Firpic) with different electron transporting layer(ETL) materialsBy analyzing efficiency curves and spectral characteristics, the significant effect of ETL on many aspects of deviceperformance was demonstrated. With optimized ETL, the characteristics of devices, such as voltage and efficiencywere significantly improved.
