1Macrophage membrane-coated nanocarriers Co-Modified by RVG29 and TPP improve brain neuronal mitochondria-targeting and therapeutic efficacy in Alzheimer's disease mice显示文摘Neuronal mitochondrial dysfunction caused by excessive reactive oxygen species(ROS)is an early event of sporadic Alzheimer's disease(AD),and considered to be a key pathologic factor in the progression of AD.The targeted delivery of the antioxidants to mitochondria of injured neurons in brain is a promising therapeutic strategy for AD.A safe and effective drug delivery system(DDS)which is able to cross the blood-brain barrier(BBB)and target neuronal mitochondria is necessary.Recently,bioactive materials-based DDS has been widely investigated for the treatment of AD.Herein,we developed macrophage(MA)membrane-coated solid lipid nanoparticles(SLNs)by attaching rabies virus glycoprotein(RVG29)and triphenylphosphine cation(TPP)molecules to the surface of MA membrane(RVG/TPP-MASLNs)for functional antioxidant delivery to neuronal mitochondria.According to the results,MA membranes camouflaged the SLNs from being eliminated by RESrich organs by inheriting the immunological characteristics of macrophages.The unique properties of the DDS after decoration with RVG29 on the surface was demonstrated by the ability to cross the BBB and the selective targeting to neurons.After entering the neurons in CNS,TPP further lead the DDS to mitochondria driven by electric charge.The Genistein(GS)-encapsulated DDS(RVG/TPP-MASLNs-GS)exhibited the most favorable effects on reliveing AD symptoms in vitro and in vivo by the synergies gained from the combination of MA membranes,RVG29 and TPP.These results demonstrated a promising therapeutic candidate for delaying the progression of AD via neuronal mitochondria-targeted delivery by the designed biomimetic nanosystems.Yang Han Chunhong Gao Hao Wang Jiejie Sun Meng Liang Ye Feng Qianqian Liu Shiyao Fu Lin Cui Chunsheng Gao Yi Li Yang Yang Baoshan Sun 2021Bioactive Materials2021,6,2:4
2Charge Engineering of Mo2C@Defect-Rich N-Doped Carbon Nanosheets for Efficient Electrocatalytic H2 Evolution显示文摘Charge engineering of carbon materials with many defects shows great potential in electrocatalysis,and molybdenum carbide(Mo2C)is one of the noble-metal-free electrocatalysts with the most potential.Herein,we study the Mo2C on pyridinic nitrogen-doped defective carbon sheets(MoNCs)as catalysts for the hydrogen evolution reaction.Theoretical calculations imply that the introduction of Mo2C produces a graphene wave structure,which in some senses behaves like N doping to form localized charges.Being an active electrocatalyst,MoNCs demonstrate a Tafel slope as low as 60.6 mV dec-1 and high durability of up to 10 h in acidic media.Besides charge engineering,plentiful defects and hierarchical morphology also contribute to good performance.This work underlines the importance of charge engineering to boost catalytic performance.Chunsheng Lei Wen Zhou Qingguo Feng Yongpeng Lei Yi Zhang Yin Chen Jiaqian Qin 2019Nano-Micro Letters2019,11,3:4
3Regional Characteristics of Typhoon-Induced Ocean Eddies in the East China Sea显示文摘The asymmetrical structure of typhoon-induced ocean eddies(TIOEs) in the East China Sea(including the Yellow Sea)and the accompanying air–sea interaction are studied using reanalysis products. Thirteen TIOEs are analyzed and divided into three groups with the k-prototype method: Group A with typhoons passing through the central Yellow Sea; Group B with typhoons re-entering the sea from the western Yellow Sea after landing on continental China; and Group C with typhoons occurring across the eastern Yellow Sea near to the Korean Peninsula. The study region is divided into three zones(Zones Ⅰ, Ⅱ and Ⅲ) according to water depth and the Kuroshio position. The TIOEs in Group A are the strongest and could reverse part of the Kuroshio stream, while TIOEs in the other two groups are easily deformed by topography. The strong currents of the TIOEs impact on the latent heat flux distribution and upward transport, which facilitates the typhoon development. The strong divergence within the TIOEs favors an upwelling-induced cooling. A typical TIOE analysis shows that the intensity of the upwelling of TIOEs is proportional to the water depth, but its magnitude is weaker than the upwelling induced by the topography. In Zones Ⅰ and Ⅱ, the vertical dimensions of TIOEs and their strong currents are much less than the water depths.In shallow water Zone Ⅲ, a reversed circulation appears in the lower layer. 5A multilevel preconditioner and its shared memory implementation for a new generation reservoir simulator显示文摘As a result of the interplay between advances in computer hardware, software, and algorithm, we are now in a new era of large-scale reservoir simulation, which focuses on accurate flow description, fine reservoir characterization, efficient nonlinear/linear solvers, and parallel implementation. In this paper, we discuss a multilevel preconditioner in a new-generation simulator and its implementation on multicore computers. This preconditioner relies on the method of subspace corrections to solve large-scale linear systems arising from fully implicit methods in reservoir simulations. 7Construction and electrochemical mechanism investigation of hierarchical core-shell like composite as high performance anode for potassium ion batteries显示文摘Potassium-ion batteries(PIBs)are promising candidates for next-generation energy storage devices due to the earth abundance of potassium,low cost,and stable redox potentials.However,the lack of promising high-performance electrode materials for the intercalation/deintercalation of large potassium ions is a major challenge up to date.Herein,we report a novel uniform nickel selenide nanoparticles encapsulated in nitrogen-doped carbon(defined as“NiSe@NC”)as an anode for PIBs,which exhibits superior rate performance and cyclic stability.Benefiting from the unique hierarchical core-shell like nanostructure,the intrinsic properties of metal-selenium bonds,synergetic effect of different components,and a remarkable pseudocapacitance effect,the anode exhibits a very high reversible capacity of 438 mA·h·g^(-1)at 50 mA·g^(-1),an excellent rate capability,and remarkable cycling performance over 2,000 cycles.The electrochemical mechanism were investigated by the in-situ X-ray diffraction,ex-situ high-resolution transmission electron microscopy,selected area electron diffraction,and first principle calculations.In addition,NiSe@NC anode also shows high reversible capacity of 512 mA·h·g^(-1)at 100 mA·g^(-1)with 84%initial Coulombic efficiency,remarkable rate performance,and excellent cycling life for sodium ion batteries.We believe the proposed simple approach will pave a new way to synthesize suitable anode materials for secondary ion batteries.Nadeem Hussain Suyuan Zeng Zhenyu Feng Yanjun Zhai Chunsheng Wang Mingwen Zhao Yitai Qian Liqiang Xu 2021Nano Research2021,14,10:1

10Bipolar Resistive Switching Effect in BiFeO_3/Nb:SrTiO_3 Heterostructure by RF Sputtering at Room Temperature显示文摘The(001) oriented BiFeO_3 thin film was deposited on the Nb: SrTiO_3 substrate by radio frequency magnetron sputtering technology, and the bipolar resistive switching effect was observed in the BiFeO_3/Nb: SrTiO_3 heterostructure. The results showed that the ratio between the high resistance and low resistance was more than two orders at a reading pulse of-0.5 V and it exhibited excellent retention over 3600 s. The current density-voltage characteristic was dominated by the space-charge-limited conduction. 16Cell relay-delivery improves targeting and therapeutic efficacy in tumors显示文摘Cell-mediated drug delivery system(CDDS)has shown great potential for cancer therapy.However,a single cell-mediated drug delivery mechanism has not generally been successful,particularly for systemic administration.To augment the antitumor therapy efficacy,herein,we propose a strategy of cell relay-delivery for the use of artificially damaging/aging erythrocytes to hitchhike on circulating monocytes/macrophages for intratumoral accumulation of anticancer drugs.This biomimetic relay-delivery strategy was derived from the manner in which circulating monocytes/macrophages in body specifically engulf damaged/senescent erythrocytes and actively transmigrate into the tumor bulk.The strategy elegantly combines the natural functions of both cells,which therefore provides a new perspective to challenge current obstacles in drug delivery.According to the strategy,we developed biotinylated erythrocyte-poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid)(PLGA)nanoparticle hybrid DDSs(bE-NPs)using avidin-biotin coupling.In such a system,biotinylated erythrocytes can mimic the natural property of damaged/senescent erythrocytes,while PLGA NPs are capable of encapsulating anticancer drugs and promoting sustained drug release.Anticancer drugs can effectively target tumor sites by two steps.First,by using biotinylated erythrocytes as the carrier,the drug-loaded PLGA NPs could be specifically phagocytized by monocytes/macrophages.Second,by taking advantage of the tumor-tropic property of monocytes/macrophages,the drug-loaded PLGA NPs could be efficiently transported into the tumor bulk.After encapsulating vincristine(VIN)as the model drug,bE-NPs exhibited the most favorable antitumor effects in vitro and in vivo by the cell relay-delivery effect.These results demonstrate that the cell relay-delivery provides a potential method for improving tumor treatment efficacy.Ye Feng Qianqian Liu Yi Li Yang Han Meng Liang Hao Wang Qing Yao Yuli Wang Meiyan Yang Zhiping Li Wei Gong Yang Yang Chunsheng Gao 2021Bioactive Materials2021,6,6:0
17Novel insight into the formation and inhibition mechanism of dipeptidyl peptidase-Ⅳ inhibitory peptides from fermented mandarin fish(Chouguiyu)显示文摘Fermented foods are a potential source to produce novel dipeptidyl peptidase-IV inhibitory peptides(D4IPs).In this study,the fermented mandarin fish(Chouguiyu)was used to screen D4IPs and their formation mechanism was studied by metagenomics and peptidomics.A total of 400 D4IPs with DPP-IV inhibition structure and high hydrophobicity were identified.The correlation network map showed that Lactococcus,Bacillus,Lysobacter,Pelagivirga,Kocuria,Escherichia,Streptococcus,and Peptostreptococcus were significantly correlated with the most D4IPs.Four stable D4IPs,including KAGARALTDAETAT,GEKVDFDDIQK,VVDADEMYLKGK,and GQKDSYVGDEAQ were respectively from the precursor proteins parvalbumin,troponin,myosin,and actin,and were mainly formed by the hydrolysis of subtilisin(EC 3.4.21.62),aspartic proteinase(EC 3.4.23.1),thermolysin(EC 3.4.24.27),oligopeptidase B(EC 3.4.21.83),and proteinase P1(EC 3.4.21.96)from Bacillus,Kocuria,Lysobacter,Lactococcus,and Peptostreptococcus.The inhibition mainly resulted from the hydrogen bond and salt bridge between D4IPs and DPP-IV enzyme.This study provides important information on the proteases and related microbial strains to directionally prepare D4IPs in Chouguiyu.Daqiao Yang Chunsheng Li Laihao Li Xianqing Yang Shengjun Chen Yanyan Wu Yang Feng 2023Food Science and Human Wellness2023,12,6:0

19Nonlinear constitutive models of rock structural plane and their applications显示文摘Structural planes play an important role in controlling the stability of rock engineering,and the influence of structural planes should be considered in the design and construction process of rock engineering.In this paper,mechanical properties,constitutive theory,and numerical application of structural plane are studied by a combination method of laboratory tests,theoretical derivation,and program development.The test results reveal the change laws of various mechanical parameters under different roughness and normal stress.At the pre-peak stage,a non-stationary model of shear stiffness is established,and threedimensional empirical prediction models for initial shear stiffness and residual stage roughness are proposed.The nonlinear constitutive models are established based on elasto-plastic mechanics,and the algorithms of the models are developed based on the return mapping algorithm.According to a large number of statistical analysis results,empirical prediction models are proposed for model parameters expressed by structural plane characteristic parameters.Finally,the discrete element method(DEM)is chosen to embed the constitutive models for practical application.The running programs of the constitutive models have been compiled into the discrete element model library.The comparison results between the proposed model and the Mohr-Coulomb slip model show that the proposed model can better describe nonlinear changes at different stages,and the predicted shear strength,peak strain and shear stiffness are closer to the test results.The research results of the paper are conducive to the accurate evaluation of structural plane in rock engineering.Wenlin Feng Shuangjian Niu Chunsheng Qiao Dujian Zou 2024Journal of Rock Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering2024,16,3:0
20Numerical Study of Geometric Multigrid Methods on CPU–GPU Heterogeneous Computers显示文摘.The geometric multigrid method(GMG)is one of the most efficient solving techniques for discrete algebraic systems arising from elliptic partial differential equations.GMG utilizes a hierarchy of grids or discretizations and reduces the error at a number of frequencies simultaneously.Graphics processing units(GPUs)have recently burst onto the scientific computing scene as a technology that has yielded substantial performance and energy-efficiency improvements.A central challenge in implementing GMG on GPUs,though,is that computational work on coarse levels cannot fully utilize the capacity of a GPU.In this work,we perform numerical studies of GMG on CPU–GPU heterogeneous computers.Furthermore,we compare our implementation with an efficient CPU implementation of GMG and with the most popular fast Poisson solver,Fast Fourier Transform,in the cuFFT library developed by NVIDIA.Chunsheng Feng Shi Shu Jinchao Xu Chen-Song Zhang 2014Advances in Applied Mathematics and Mechanics2014,6,1:0
