| 1 | Molecular Epidemiological Characteristics of Streptococcus pyogenes Strains Involved in an Outbreak of Scarlet Fever in China,2011显示文摘Objective To investigate molecular characterization of streptococcus pyogenes isolates involved in an outbreak of scarlet fever in China in 2011.Methods Seventy-four Streptococcal pyogenes involved in an outbreak of scarlet fever were isolated from pediatric patients in the areas with high incidence in China from May to August of 2011.Emm genotyping,pulsed-field gel electrophoresis (PFGE),superantigen (SAg) genes and antimicrobial susceptibility profiling were analyzed for these isolates.Results A total of 4 different emm types were identified.Emm12 was the most prevalent type which contained four predominating PFGE patterns corresponding to four different virulence and superantigen profiles.Emm12 (79.7%) and emml (14.9%) accounted for approximately 94%of all the isolates.The speA gene was all negative in emm12 isolates and positive in emml isolates.All strains were resistant to erythromycin,and 89.4%of them were resistant to erythromycin,tracycline,and clindamycin simultaneously.Conclusion Several highly diversified clones with a high macrolide resistance rate comprise a predominant proportion of circulating strains,though no new emm type was found in this outbreak.The data provide a baseline for further surveillance of scarlet fever,which may contribute to the explanation of the outbreak and development of a GAS vaccine in China. | YOU Yuan Hai SONG Yan Yan YAN Xiao Mei WANG Hai Bin ZHANG Meng Han TAO Xiao Xia Li Lei Lei ZHANG Yu Xin JIANG Xi Hong ZHANG Bing Hua ZHOU Hao XIAO Di JIN Lian Mei FENG Zi Jian LUO Feng Ji ZHANG Jian Zhong | 2013 | Biomedical and Environmental Sciences2013,26,11: | 15 |

| 6 | Broadband mid-infrared molecular spectroscopy based on passive coherent optical–optical modulated frequency combs显示文摘Mid-infrared dual-comb spectroscopy is of great interest owing to the strong spectroscopic features of trace gases,biological molecules,and solid matter with higher resolution,accuracy,and acquisition speed. However,the prerequisite of achieving high coherence of optical sources with the use of bulk sophisticated control systems prevents their widespread use in field applications. Here we generate a highly mutually coherent dual midinfrared comb spectrometer based on the optical–optical modulation of a continuous-wave (CW) interband or quantum cascade laser. Mutual coherence was passively achieved without post-data processes or active carrier envelope phase-locking processes. The center wavelength of the generated mid-infrared frequency combs can be flexibly tuned by adjusting the wavelength of the CW seeds. The parallel detection of multiple molecular species,including C_(2)H_(2),CH_(4),H_(2)CO,H_(2)S,COS,and H_(2)O,was achieved. | 10 | Effect of the lenticles on moisture migration in capillary zone of tailings dam显示文摘Small-particle interlayers(lenticles)show some characteristic hydraulic properties and can affect the movement of unsaturated water.In this study,we developed a novel online capillary-water-absorption monitoring device and conducted three groups of comparison tests to simulate lenticle positions and thicknesses with respect to the capillary rise.The results show that the characteristic wetting front exhibits a fast rise in the early stage,a slow rise in the middle stage,and stability in the later stage.The motion of the capillary water in the lenticle is mainly transversal,with the upward curve being'flat,'and the longer is'flat,'the longer is the time needed for the water to move.The interlayer can form a capillary stagnation zone with moisture content close to saturation.The high interlayer may form a discontinuous corrugated capillary zone.Thus,when the wetting front reaches the'coarse-grain(lower)-fine-grain(upper)'interface,the'anti-capillary barrier effect'results in more moisture in the upper layer.Thus,when the wetting front of the capillary water reaches the'fine-grain(upper)-coarse-grain(lower)'interface,the'capillary barrier effect'causes the moisture content of the upper tailings to decreases sharply because of the horizontal movement of the water in the fine medium.It is clear that the presence of lenticles can retard the rise of capillary water by storing water. | Di Liu Min-jie Lian Cai-wu Lu Wen Zhang | 2020 | International Journal of Minerals,Metallurgy and Materials2020,27,8: | 2 |
| 11 | Efficient production of pronuclear embryos in breeding and nonbreeding season for generating transgenic sheep overexpressing TLR4显示文摘Background: Brucella is a zoonotic Gram-negative pathogen that causes abortion and infertility in ruminants and humans. TLR4 is the receptor for LPS which can recognize Brucella and initiate antigen-presenting cell activities that affect both innate and adaptive immunity. Consequently, transgenic sheep over-expressing TLR4 are an suitable model to investigate the effects of TLR4 on preventing Brucellosis. In this study, we generated transgenic sheep overexpressing TLR4 and aimed to evaluate the effects of different seasons(breeding and non-breeding season) on superovulation and the imported exogenous gene on growth.Results: In total of 43 donor ewes and 166 recipient ewes in breeding season, 37 donor ewes and 144 recipient ewes in non-breeding season were selected for super-ovulation and injected embryo transfer to generate transgenic sheep.Our results indicated the no. of embryos recovered of donors and the rate of pronuclear embryos did not show any significant difference between breeding and non-breeding seasons(P > 0.05). The positive rate of exogenous TLR4 tested were 21.21 % and 22.58 % in breeding and non-breeding season by Southern blot. The expression level of TLR4 in the transgenic sheep was 1.5 times higher than in the non-transgenic group(P < 0.05). The lambs overexpressing TLR4 had similar growth performance with non-transgenic lambs, and the blood physiological parameters of transgenic and non-transgenic were both in the normal range and did not show any difference.Conclusions: Here we establish an efficient platform for the production of transgenic sheep by the microinjection of pronuclear embryos during the whole year.
