5High-precision,fast DEM reconstruction method for spaceborne InSAR显示文摘The primary objective of the spaceborne interferometric synthetic aperture radar (InSAR) system is to develop a consistent global digital elevation model (DEM).The improvement of the processing speed in global interferometry missions while maintaining the accuracy is becoming an important issue.DEM reconstruction is the most time-consuming step in the data processing required for spaceborne InSAR.Based on a DEM reconstruction principle analysis,we exploited two basic characteristics of the mapping relation between the interferometric phase and 3-D position of target point.First,the relation between the 3-D position of the target point and the interferometric phase can be approximated using polynomials.Second,the corresponding polynomials change slowly in the local SAR images.Also,we verified the foundations of the two mentioned characteristics theoretically.Then,we proposed a fast method of DEM reconstruction based on this analysis.Detailed descriptions of the step and key parameters of the fast algorithm are provided.Finally,the repeat-pass interferometric data obtained using TerraSAR-X was used to test the presented method.The experimental results showed that a significant reduction in computation time is achieved with only a small loss in accuracy.The effectiveness and correctness of the proposed method were also validated.WANG QingSong HUANG HaiFeng DONG Zhen YU AnXi LIANG DianNong 2011Science China(Information Sciences)2011,54,11:6
6Disinfection by-product(DBP) research in China:Are we on the track?显示文摘Disinfection by-products(DBPs) formed during water disinfection has drawn significant public concern due to its toxicity. Since the first discovery of the trihalomethanes in 1974,continued effort has been devoted on DBPs worldwide to investigate the formation mechanism, levels, toxicity and control measures in drinking water. This review summarizes the main achievements on DBP research in China, which included:(1) the investigation of known DBP occurrence in drinking water of China;(2) the enhanced removal of DBP precursor by water treatment process;(3) the disinfection optimization to minimize DBP formation;and(4) the identification of unknown DBPs in drinking water. 9Study on the recovery of ionic liquids from dilute effluent by electrodialysis method and the fouling of cation-exchange membrane显示文摘With the wide application of ionic liquids(ILs)in various fields,developing efficient techniques to recover ILs from effluent is an urgent demand for the cost reduction and the environmental protection.In this study,an electrodialysis(ED)method was used to recover 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium chloride([Bmim]Cl)IL from aqueous solution as model effluent.The influences of initial IL concentration and applied voltage on the current efficiency,removal ratio,desalination ratio,membrane flux and specific energy consumption during the ED process were investigated.It was found that the removal ratio and desalination ratio increases with the increasing of initial IL concentration and applied voltage.The current efficiency decreases with the increasing of initial IL concentration and the current efficiency reached the maximum value of 94.3%at 25 V.Besides,as the applied voltage increases,the membrane flux increases and the specific energy consumption decreases.Moreover,the fouling of cation-exchange membrane was also discovered after the desalination of IL.The deposits on the surface or into the membrane which is probably caused by[Bmim]+was characterized by scanning electron microscopy,elemental analysis and Fourier transform infrared.BAI Lu WANG XiaoLiang NIE Yi DONG HaiFeng ZHANG XiangPing ZHANG SuoJiang 2013Science China Chemistry2013,56,12:4

11An experimental research on single discharge machining of insulating ceramics efficiently with high energy capacitor显示文摘Insulating ceramics are applied to modern manufacturing industries for their improved material properties.But they are the difficult-to-machine materials because of their high rigidity,high brittleness and non-electrical conductivity.A new method which employs a high energy capacitor for electric discharge machining of insulating ceramics efficiently is presented in this paper,and the single discharge experiments have been carried out.The process uses the high voltage,large capacitor and high discharge energy,it is able to effectively machine insulating ceramics,and the single discharge crater volume of insulating ceramics can reach 17.63 mm3.The effects of polarity,peak voltage,capacitance,current-limiting resistance,tool electrode feed,tool electrode section area and assisting electrode thickness on the process performance such as the single discharge crater volume,the tool wear ratio and the assisting electrode wear ratio have been investigated.The microstructure of the discharge crater is examined with a scanning electron microscope(SEM).The results show that the discharge craters have sputtering appearance,the insulating ceramic materials are mostly removed by spalling,in the center region of the discharge some materials are removed by melting and vaporization,and the material removal is enhanced with the machining parameters increasing.JI RenJie LIU YongHong ZHANG YanZhen ZHANG HaiFeng LI XiaoPeng DONG Xin 2011Science China(Technological Sciences)2011,54,6:4
12In vitro and in vivo studies on the biodegradable behavior and bone response of Mg69Zn27Ca4 metal glass for treatment of bone defect显示文摘In the present work, the biodegradable behavior, cytocompatibility and osteogenesis activity of a Mg69Zn27Ca4 metal glass were investigated. Electrochemical test, immersion test, cytotoxicity test and histopathological evaluation were carried out. The results showed that there was a dense protective layer formed on the surface of Mg69Zn27Ca4 metal glass which could inhibit the degradation process in the Hank’s solution. In vitro cytotoxicity test showed that Mg69Zn27Ca4 metal glass had good biocompatibility. Histopathological evaluation showed that the degradation of Mg69Zn27Ca4 metal glass could promote the new bone formation with no obvious inflammatory reactions. After 2 months implantation, the diameter of the bone defect was reduced from the original φ6 mm to φ3.35 ± 0.40 mm with the degradation of Mg69Zn27Ca4 metal glass. 17Highly efficient and stable CuZr-based metallic glassy catalysts for azo dye degradation显示文摘Metallic glasses with the unique disordered atomic structure and metastable nature have been recently applied to degrade the azo dyes and other organic pollutants based on their superior catalytic performance.In this work,the functional properties of six Cu Zr-based metallic glassy ribbons with the different nominal components in degrading Acid OrangeⅡ(AOⅡ)azo dyes were investigated.The Cu47.5Zr46Al6.5 metallic glassy ribbons could exhibit the more advanced catalytic performance for degradation process,which could completely degrade azo dye aqueous solution within 30 min.Additionally,the Cu47.5Zr46Al6.5 metallic glassy ribbons also showed the excellent cyclic stability along with approximately 97.68%degradation efficiency after 10 cycles.These excellent catalytic performance and stability are closely related to the synergistic effect of exposed copper nanoparticles and produced copper oxides in the reaction,which contributes to accelerate the generation of more hydroxyl radicals(·OH)to react with dye molecules.Our findings can be able to develop a novel potential metallic glassy material for the functional application of wastewater treatment.Bowen Zhao Zhengwang Zhu Xin Dong Qin Zhengkun Li Haifeng Zhang 2020Journal of Materials Science & Technology2020,42,11:3

19Multifaceted functions of STING in human health and disease:from molecular mechanism to targeted strategy显示文摘Since the discovery of Stimulator of Interferon Genes(STING)as an important pivot for cytosolic DNA sensation and interferon(IFN)induction,intensive efforts have been endeavored to clarify the molecular mechanism of its activation,its physiological function as a ubiquitously expressed protein,and to explore its potential as a therapeutic target in a wide range of immune-related diseases.With its orthodox ligand 2’3’-cyclic GMP–AMP(2’3’-cGAMP)and the upstream sensor 2’3’-cGAMP synthase(cGAS)to be found,STING acquires its central functionality in the best-studied signaling cascade,namely the cGAS–STING–IFN pathway.However,recently updated research through structural research,genetic screening,and biochemical assay greatly extends the current knowledge of STING biology.A second ligand pocket was recently discovered in the transmembrane domain for a synthetic agonist.On its downstream outputs,accumulating studies sketch primordial and multifaceted roles of STING beyond its cytokine-inducing function,such as autophagy,cell death,metabolic modulation,endoplasmic reticulum(ER)stress,and RNA virus restriction.Furthermore,with the expansion of the STING interactome,the details of STING trafficking also get clearer.After retrospecting the brief history of viral interference and the milestone events since the discovery of STING,we present a vivid panorama of STING biology taking into account the details of the biochemical assay and structural information,especially its versatile outputs and functions beyond IFN induction.We also summarize the roles of STING in the pathogenesis of various diseases and highlight the development of small-molecular compounds targeting STING for disease treatment in combination with the latest research.Finally,we discuss the open questions imperative to answer.Zili Zhang Haifeng Zhou Xiaohu Ouyang Yalan Dong Alexey Sarapultsev Shanshan Luo Desheng Hu 2023Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2023,8,1:2
20Magnetic transformation of Mn from anti-ferromagnetism to ferromagnetism in FeCoNiZMn_(x)(Z=Si,Al,Sn,Ge)high entropy alloys显示文摘We design high entropy alloys(HEAs) with different induction elements(Si/Al/Sn).In order to keep the crystal structure invariant and to investigate how the increment in saturation magnetization(Ms)is caused only by the change of electron spin state,each set of HEAs contains a different amount of Mn.Synergistic effects among induction elements that induce the magnetic transformation of Mn from anti-ferromagnetism to ferromagnetism are found.Ms of added Mn reduces when a particular induction element(Si_(0.4)/Al_(0.4)/Sn_(0.4)) exists,while a larger increment of Ms appears when two induction elements coexist,Si_(0.4)Al_(0.4)(25.79 emu/g) and Sn_(0.4)Al_(0.4)(15.43 emu/g).This is reflected in the microcosmic magnetic structure for the emergence of closed domains due to large demagnetization energy,which is confirmed by the Lorentz transmission electron microscope(LTEM) data.The calculated magnetic moments and the exchange integral constants from density functional theory based on the Exact Muffin-Tin Orbits fo rmalism reveal that the magnetic state and the strength of fe rromagnetic and anti-ferromagnetic coupling determine the variation of Ms in different chemical environments.The difference in energy levels of coexisting multiple induction elements also leads to a larger increment of Ms,Si_(0.4)Al_(0.4)Sn_(0.4)(29.78 emu/g),and Si_(0.4)Al_(0.4)Ge_(0.4)Sn_(0.4)(31.00 emu/g).Bin Zhang Yuping Duan Haifeng Zhang Shuo Huang Guojia Ma Tongmin Wang Xinglong Dong Nan Jia 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,9:2
