1Effect of Bushenwenyanghuayu decoction on nerve growth factor and bradykinin/bradykinin B_1 receptor in a endometriosis dysmenorrhea mouse model显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To observe the effects of Bushenwenyanghuayu decoction(BD),a Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM),on the serum concentration of nerve growth factor(NGF) and bradykinin(BK),and protein and mRNA levels of NGF and bradykinin B_1receptor(BKB1R) in a mouse model of endometriosis dysmenorrhea.METHODS:Seventy-five experimental female BALB/c mice were randomly divided into five groups,15 mice each:sham,model,BD high dose(61.67 g/kg),BD low dose(15.42 g/kg),and gestrinone(0.4 mg/kg) groups.All the mice except for those in the sham group underwent auto-transplantation surgery and were gavaged estradiol valerate(0.5 mg/kg,daily for 12 days) after surgery.On the 12 th day,1 h after administration,writhing response was induced by intraperitoneal injection of oxytocin at 2 U/mouse.The writhing frequency and latency were recorded and the volume of the ectopic foci was measured.The concentration of serum NGF and BK was detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay,the protein expression of NGF and BKB1 R was tested by immunohistochemistry and western blotting,and NGF and BKB1 R mRNAs were detected by real-time PCR.RESULTS:Compared with the model group,the volume of the ectopic foci in the treatment groups was significantly lower(P < 0.01),the writhing frequency was decreased(P < 0.05),and the writhing latency was prolonged(P < 0.01).Compared with the sham group,serum NGF and BK levels in the model group were significantly increased(P <0.01).There were positive correlations for writhing frequency among the NGF and BK groups(P <0.01).The serum NGF and BK levels were significantly lower in the treatment groups than the model group(P < 0.05).The protein expression of NGF,BKB1 R was significantly decreased in the treatment groups compared with the model group(P < 0.01).NGF and BKB1 R mRNA expression was significantly decreased in the treatment groups compared with the model group(P < 0.01).CONCLUSION:NGF and BK/BKB1 R may play an important role in the development of endometriosis-associated dysmenorrhea,and BD was found to inhibit the development of endometriosis and relieve dysmenorrhea by influencing NGF and BK/BKB1 R mRNA and protein levels.Chen Jingwei Du Huilan Tong Ruixiao Yang Hua Ma Huirong 2015Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2015,35,2:12

5Synthesis and characterization of tungsten and barium co-doped La2Mo2O9 by sol-gel process for solid oxide fuel cells显示文摘Herein,we demonstrate the synthesis of W and Ba co-doped La2Mo2O9(LBMWO)nanocrystalline powder by a sol-gel process.In all the compositions have general formulae La1.9Ba0.1Mo2-xWxO8.95(x=0-0.40).The crystal structure,microstructure and conductivity of LBMWO were characterized by X-ray diffraction,scanning electron microscopy and electrical impedance spectroscopy.In addition,the thermal and decomposition properties of the LBMWO gel were analyzed by differential scanning calorimetry-thermogravimetric.The results reveal that all LBMWO powders calcined at 700℃have a cubic structure;the average crystallite size is about 48 nm.The unit cell parameter of LBMWO powders increases with increase in W content.The as-synthesized nanocrystalline LBMWO samples exhibit excellent sinterability and a relatively lower sintering temperature of 900℃.A high relative density of-96%is achieved after sintering at 900℃which is in good agreeme nt with the re sults of the SEM.Moreover,W and Ba codoping suppresses the phase transition and effectively stabilizes theβ-phase at low temperature.At the same time,La1.9Ba0.1Mo1.85W0.15O8.95 exhibits high ionic conductivity,3.07 x 10^-2 S/cm at 800℃.It is therefore concluded that co-doping can improve the properties of La2MO2O9 electrolytes.Chang′an Tian Lingbo Shao Dongdong Ji Jie Yang Jinsong Xie Qiyi Yin Huirong Le 2019Journal of Rare Earths2019,37,9:5
6Influence of herb-partitioned moxibustion at Qihai (CV6) and bilateral Tianshu (ST25) and Shangjuxu (ST37) acupoints on toll-like receptors 4 signaling pathways in patients with ulcerative colitis显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the efficacy of herb-partitioned moxibustion(HPM) at Qihai(CV6), Tianshu(ST25) and Shangjuxu(ST37) acupoints in relieving symptoms and the immune regulation of HPM on the toll-like receptors 4(TLR4) signaling pathway in ulcerative colitis(UC) patients.METHODS: A randomized, single-blind study was conducted 63 patients to receive HPM or sham HPM treatment. The efficacy outcomes included scores of the Mayo, Baron, inflammatory bowel disease questionnaire(IBDQ), self-rating depression scale(SDS), self-rating anxiety scale(SAS). HE staining was used to observe the histopathological changes of the colon. The expression of inflammatory cytokines and TLR4 signaling pathway related molecules were determined by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay and immunohistochemistry.RESULTS: Baron, SDS, SAS scores were significantly decreased in moxibustion group(P < 0.05), IBDQ score was significantly greater in the moxibustion group than in the sham moxibustion group(P < 0.05). Histopathology of mucosal biopsies showed that both two groups improved in mucosa after treatment. The expression levels of tumor necrosis factor-α, interleukin-2, interleukin-12, interferon-γ, and TLR4, lipopolysaccharide, myeloid differentiation factor 88, interleukin receptor associated kinase, tumor necrosis factor receptor associated factor 6 and nuclear factor kappa-B p65 were significantly lower in the moxibustion group than in the sham moxibustion group(P < 0.05).CONCLUSION: This study showed that HPM at Qihai(CV6), Tianshu(ST25) and Shangjuxu(ST37) acupoints is effective to relieve symptoms, anxiety, depression and improving life quality in UC patients,which may be related to the immune regulation of HPM on TLR4 signaling pathway.QI Qin Hyoyoung Im LI Kunshan GU Muen WU Huangan YANG Ling HUANG Yan ZHAO Jimeng CUI Yunhua LIU Huirong WU Luyi 2021Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2021,41,3:5

20miR-339-3p promotes AT1-AA-induced vascular inflammation by upregulating NFATc3 protein expression in vascular smooth muscle cells显示文摘Vascular inflammation induced by angiotensin II-1 receptor autoantibody(AT1-AA)is involved in the occurrence and development of various cardiovascular diseases.miR-339-3p is closely related to the degree of vasodilation of aortic aneurysm and is also involved in the occurrence and development of acute pancreatitis.However,it is still unclear whether miR-339-3p influences AT1-AA-induced vascular inflammation.In this study,the role and mechanism of miR-339-3p in AT1-AA-induced vascular inflammation are studied.RT-PCR detection shows that the miR-339-3p levels in the thoracic aorta and serum exosomes of AT1-AA-positive rats are significantly increased.The miRwalk database predicts the mRNAs that miR-339-3p can bind to their 5′UTR.Subsequently,it is found that the number of genes contained in the T cell receptor pathway is high through KEGG analysis,and NFATc3 among them can promote the secretion of various inflammatory cytokines.AT1-AA-induced upregulation of miR-339-3p expression in vascular smooth muscle cells(VSMCs)can lead to a significant increase in NFATc3 protein level and promote vascular inflammation.Inhibition of miR-339-3p with antagomir-339-3p can significantly reverse AT1-AA-induced high expressions of IL-6,IL-1βand TNF-αproteins in rat thoracic aorta and VSMCs.That is,AT1-AA can upregulate the expression of miR-339-3p in VSMCs,and the increased miR-339-3p targets the 5′UTR of NFATc3 mRNA to increase the protein level of NFATc3,thereby aggravating the occurrence of vascular inflammation.These findings provide new experimental evidence for the involvement of miRNAs in regulating vascular inflammatory diseases.Yang Li Yaolin Long Xiaoyan Zhi Haihu Hao Xiaohui Wang Huirong Liu Li Wang 2023Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2023,55,2:0
