| 1 | Discrimination of Chuanminshen violaceum Sheh et Shen from different regions based on fatty acid profiles of roots and leaves显示文摘Objectives:The purpose of this paper was to construct a reliable methodology to discriminate the geographical origins of Chuanminshen violaceum Sheh et Shan planted in different regions in Sichuan,China.Materials and methods:Fatty acid profiles of roots and leaves of C.violaceum planted in various regions of Sichuan Province in China,namely Guangyuan(GY),Langzhong(LZ),Jintang(JT),Bazhong(BZ),and Shuangling(SL),were determined using GC-MS followed by multivariate statistical analyses,including orthogonal partial least-squares discriminant analysis and hierarchical clustering analysis.Results:Leaves of C.violaceum showed the highest contents of hexadecatrienoic acid(3.21 g/kg),linoleic acid(6.62 g/kg),andα-linolenic acid(7.24 g/kg),which were all higher than those contained in roots.Chuanminshen violaceum samples collected from LZ,JT,and GY could be clearly distinguished based on fatty acid profiles of leaves and those collected from LZ,GY,and BZ could be clearly distinguished based on fatty acid profiles of roots.Conclusions:Chemometric method is used as a potential approach for analyses of fatty acid profiles of roots and leaves to control the quality of C.violaceum and their powered products. | Qing Zhang Junrui Tian Chong Wan Hongmin Dong Dingtao Wu Shuxiang Liu Wen Qin | 2020 | Food Quality and Safety2020,4,2: | 2 |
| 2 | POLICIES AND REGULATIONS FOR PROMOTING MANURE MANAGEMENT FOR SUSTAINABLE LIVESTOCK PRODUCTION IN CHINA:A REVIEW显示文摘Livestock numbers in China have more than tripled between 1980 and 2017.The increase in the number of intensive livestock production systems has created the challenges of decoupled crop and livestock systems,low utilization of manures in croplands,and subsequent environmental pollution.Correspondingly,the government has enacted a series of policies and regulations to increase the sustainability of livestock production.This paper reviews the objectives of these policies and regulations and their impacts on manure management.Since 2017 there have been two policy guides to speed up the appropriate use of manures,three action plans for increasing manure recycling,and one technical guide to calculate nutrient balances.Requirements of manure pollution control and recycling for improved environmental performance of livestock production systems were included in three revised environmental laws.Most recent survey data indicate that the utilization of livestock manures was 70%in 2017,including that used as fertilizer and/or for production of energy.The targets for manure utilization are 75%in 2020 and 90%in 2035.To achieve these targets and promote‘green livestock production’,additional changes are needed including the use of third-party enterprises that facilitate manure exchange between farms and a more integrated manure nutrient management approach. | Sha WEI Zhiping ZHU Jing ZHAO David RCHADWICK Hongmin DONG | 2021 | Frontiers of Agricultural Science and Engineering2021,8,1: | 2 |
| 3 | Ribonuclease H-like gene SMALL GRAIN2 regulates grain size in rice through brassinosteroid signaling pathway显示文摘Grain size is a key agronomic trait that determines the yield in plants.Regulation of grain size by brassinosteroids(BRs)in rice has been widely reported.However,the relationship between the BR signaling pathway and grain size still requires further study.Here,we isolated a rice mutant,named small grain2(sg2),which displayed smaller grain and a semi-dwarf phenotype.The decreased grain size was caused by repressed cell expansion in spikelet hulls of the sg2 mutant.Using map-based cloning combined with a Mut Map approach,we cloned SG2,which encodes a plant-specific protein with a ribonuclease H-like domain.SG2 is a positive regulator downstream of GLYCOGEN SYNTHASE KINASE2(GSK2)in response to BR signaling,and its mutation causes insensitivity to exogenous BR treatment.Genetical and biochemical analysis showed that GSK2 interacts with and phosphorylates SG2.We further found that BRs enhance the accumulation of SG2 in the nucleus,and subcellular distribution of SG2 is regulated by GSK2 kinase activity.In addition,Oryza sativa OVATE family protein 19(OsOFP19),a negative regulator of grain shape,interacts with SG2 and plays an antagonistic role with SG2 in controlling gene expression and grain size.Our results indicated that SG2 is a new component of GSK2-related BR signaling response and regulates grain size by interacting with Os OFP19. | Yunshuai Huang Hui Dong Changling Mou Ping Wang Qixian Hao Min Zhang Hongmin Wu Fulin Zhang Tengfei Ma Rong Miao Kai Fu Yaping Chen Ziyan Zhu Cheng Chen Qikai Tong Zhuoran Wang Shirong Zhou Xi Liu Shijia Liu Yunlu Tian Ling Jiang Jianmin Wan | 2022 | Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2022,64,10: | 1 |

| 9 | Flavivirus RNA cap methyltransferase:structure,function,and inhibition显示文摘Many flaviviruses are significant human pathogens.The plus-strand RNA genome of a flavivirus contains a 5′terminal cap 1 structure(m7GpppAmG).The flavivirus encodes one methyltransferase(MTase),located at the Nterminal portion of the NS5 RNA-dependent RNA polymerase(RdRp).Here we review recent advances in our understanding of flaviviral capping machinery and the implications for drug development.The NS5 MTase catalyzes both guanine N7 and ribose 2'-OH methylations during viral cap formation.Representative flavivirus MTases,from dengue,yellow fever,and West Nile virus(WNV),sequentially generate GpppA!m7GpppA!m7GpppAm.Despite the existence of two distinct methylation activities,the crystal structures of flavivirus MTases showed a single binding site for S-adenosyl-L-methionine(SAM),the methyl donor.This finding indicates that the substrate GpppA-RNA must be repositioned to accept the N7 and 2'-O methyl groups from SAM during the sequential reactions.Further studies demonstrated that distinct RNA elements are required for the methylations of guanine N7 on the cap and of ribose 2'-OH on the first transcribed nucleotide.Mutant enzymes with different methylation defects can trans complement one another in vitro,demonstrating that separate molecules of the enzyme can independently catalyze the two cap methylations in vitro.In the context of the infectious virus,defects in both methylations,or a defect in the N7 methylation alone,are lethal to WNV.However,viruses defective solely in 2'-O methylation are attenuated and can protect mice from later wild-typeWNV challenge.The results demonstrate that the N7 methylation activity is essential for the WNV life cycle and,thus,methyltransferase represents a novel and promising target for flavivirus therapy. | Lihui LIU Hongping DONG Hui CHEN Jing ZHANG Hua LING Zhong LI Pei-Yong SHI Hongmin LI | 2010 | Frontiers in Biology2010,5,4: | 0 |
| 10 | A Modified Impact-increment-based State Enumeration Method and Its Application in Power Distribution Systems显示文摘Reliable planning and operation of power distribution systems are of great significance. In this paper, the impactincrement based state enumeration(IIBSE) method is modified to adapt to the features of distribution systems. With the proposed method, the expectation, probabilistic, and duration reliability indices can be accurately obtained with a lower enumerated order of contingency states. In addition, the time-consuming optimal power flow(OPF) calculation can be replaced by a simple matrix operation for both independent and radial series failure states. Therefore, the accuracy and efficiency of the assessment process are improved comprehensively. The case of RBTS bus 6 system and IEEE 123 node test feeder system are utilized to test the performance of the modified IIBSE. | 11 | 脑胶质瘤术后三维适形放疗加同步化疗的临床观察(英文)显示文摘Objective:The aim of the study was to investigate the efficacy of three-dimensional conformal radiotherapy (3D-CRT) combined with Temozolomide (TMZ) concurrent chemotherapy in treatment of postoperative cerebral gliomas by prospective randomized controlled trials. Methods: Sixty-two patients with cerebral glioma who had residual tumor were divided into 3D-CRT group (radiotherapy group, n=31) and 3D-CRT with concurrent chemotherapy group (chemoradiotherapy group, n=31) prospectively. All patients received a dose of 50-60 Gy/25-30 F/5-6 weeks by 6 MV-X ray, three-dimensional conformal radiotherapy, 1 f/d, 5 times a week. Chemotherapy regimen was Temozolomide:75 mg/m2/d, concomitantly with radiotherapy, followed by 150-200 mg/m2/d, 5 days, 28 days per cycle, totally 3-6 cycles. Results: The total response rate was 35.3% (11/31) in radiotherapy group. The response rate was 61.3% (19/31) in chemoradiotherapy group. There was significant difference in curative effect (P=0.042). There was no significant difference in survival comparison of two groups (P=0.263). Stratified analysis showed the patients with grade Ⅲ gliomas of chemoradiotherapy group had better prognosis than ones of radiotherapy group (P=0.043).
