1High-performance fiber-integrated multifunctional graphene-optoelectronic device with photoelectric detection and optic-phase modulation显示文摘In graphene-based optoelectronic devices,the ultraweak interaction between a light and monolayer graphene leads to low optical absorption and low responsivity for the photodetectors and relative high half-wave voltage for the phase modulator.Here,an integration of the monolayer graphene onto the side-polished optical fiber is demonstrated,which is capable of providing a cost-effective strategy to enhance the light–graphene interaction,allowing us to obtain a highly efficient optical absorption in graphene and achieve multifunctions:photodetection and optical phase modulation.As a photodetector,the device has ultrahigh responsivity(1.5×10^(7) A/W)and high external quantum efficiency(>1.2×10^(9)%).Additionally,the polybutadiene/polymethyl methacrylate(PMMA)film on the graphene can render the device an optical phase modulator through the large thermo-optic effect of the PMMA.As a phase modulator,the device has a relatively low half-wave voltage of 3 V with a 16 dB extinction ratio in Mach–Zehnder interferometer configuration.LINQING ZHUO PENGPENG FAN SHUANG ZHANG YUANSONG ZHAN YANMEI LINYU ZHANG DONGQUAN LI ZHEN CHE WENGUO ZHU HUADAN ZHENG JIEYUAN TANG JUN ZHANG YONGCHUN ZHONG WENXIAO FANG GUOGUANG LU JIANHUI YU ZHE CHEN 2020Photonics Research2020,8,12:3

3Sequence analysis and typing of Saprolegnia strains isolated from freshwater fish from Southern Chinese regions显示文摘Saprolegniasis,caused by Saprolegnia infection,is one of the most common diseases in freshwater fish.Our study aimed to determine the epidemiological characteristics of saprolegniasis in Chinese regions of high incidence.Saprolegnia were isolated and identified by morphological and molecular methods targeting the internal transcribed spacer(ITS)ribosomal DNA(rDNA)and building neighbor-joining(NJ)and maximum parsimony(MP)phylogenetic trees.The ITS sequences of eight isolated strains were compared with GenBank sequences and all strains fell into three clades:CLADE1(02,LP,04 and 14),CLADE2(S1),and CLADE3(CP,S2,L5 and the reference ATCC200013).Isolates 02 and LP shared 80%sequence similarity with S.diclina,S.longicaulis,S.ferax,S.mixta,and S.anomalies.Further,isolates 04 and 14 shared 80%similarity with S.bulbosa and S.oliviae.Finally,extremely high ITS sequence similarities were identified between isolates S1 and S.australis(100%);CP and S.hypogyna(96%);and S2,L5,ATCC200013 and S.salmonis(98%).This research provides insights into the identification,prevention and control of saprolegniasis pathogens and the potential development of effective drugs.Siya Liu Pengpeng Song Renjian Ou Wenhong Fang Mao Lin Jiming Ruan Xianle Yang Kun Hu 2017Aquaculture and Fisheries2017,2,5:1
4Self-organization of unimolecular micelles in beam stream for functional mesoporous metal oxide nanofibers显示文摘The use of linear amphiphilic block copolymers as templates is an important method for the preparation of mesoporous materials.However,the obtained assemblies are usually sensitive to synthetic conditions,which impedes the preparation of such mesoporous materials in certain environments.Herein,we report a universal strategy applying an amphiphilic multiarm triblock copolymer in the preparation of mesoporous metal oxide nanofibers(NFs)using one metal oxide(TiO_(2),ZrO_(2),WO_(3),CeO_(2)),or two(TiO_(2)/WO 3,TiO_(2)/ZrO_(2),TiO_(2)/CeO_(2))and three(TiO_(2)/WO_(3)/CuO)metal oxides as composites.The template consists of modified β-cyclodextrin as the center of the macromolecule which is attached sequentially to a block of polystyrene,poly(acrylic acid),and poly(ethylene oxide).Under electrospinning conditions,stable unimolecular micelles are formed and effectively co-assemble with metal ions to form fibrous nanostructures.As indicated by various characterization methods,the synthesized TiO_(2) and its derived composite NFs maintain a straight and continuous fibrous structure after calcination,and TiO_(2) NFs exhibit uniform mesopores of 10.8 nm in diameter and a large Brunauer-Emmett-Teller surface area of 143.3 m^(2)g^(−1).Benefiting from the characteristic structure,still present after modification,Pt-decorated mesoporous TiO_(2) NFs display excellent ability in the visible-light photocatalytic degradation of tetracycline,which is superior to the commercial P25 catalyst.This study reveals a promising strategy for the preparation of fibrous mesoporous metal oxides.Chongfei Gu Xiaoshan Fan Guihua Zhu Yuchi Fan Haifeng Wang Tao Zhao Qi Xiao Yuan Fang Xiaopeng Li Wan Jiang Lianjun Wang Pengpeng Qiu Wei Luo 2022Fundamental Research2022,2,5:1
5Experimental clearance rates of Aurelia coerulea ephyrae and medusae,and the predation impact on zooplankton in Jiaozhou Bay显示文摘The population explosion of jellyfish Aurelia coerulea occurred in Jiaozhou Bay,China in 2009.The potential predation impact of A.coerulea on zooplankton was investigated.Population clearance potential and residence time(t 1/2)for copepods were calculated from laboratory clearance rates and measurements of jellyfish size and abundance from May to August 2009 in Jiaozhou Bay.Clearance rates varied widely with prey organisms,but they were not significantly different among various prey concentrations.Medusae captured rotifers,fish larvae and hydromedusae more efficiently than fish eggs,copepods and chaetognaths.Ephyrae captured rotifers and hydromedusae more efficiently than fish larvae and copepods.Clearance rate linearly increased with the cross sectional area of A.coerulea(size from 0.3 to 7.1 cm).Water temperature also had a marked effect on clearance rate and this was related to the increased beat frequency as water temperature increased.In early May 2009,A.coerulea potentially cleared the volume of water in the Bay less than 0.001 times a day,but this value was estimated to be more than 0.3 times a day in July.The t 1/2 for copepods was less than 6 d in June and July.Abundances of copepods,hydromedusae and chaetognaths were extremely low in 2009 compared to 2008 and 2010(jellyfish non-bloom years).Large predation pressure by the A.coerulea population occurred to control zooplankton communities in Jiaozhou Bay.A.coerulea,when present at a high population level,can be a keystone species in Jiaozhou Bay and control the trophic structure here.WANG Pengpeng ZHANG Fang SUN Song WANG Weicheng WAN Aiyong LI Chaolun 2020Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2020,38,4:1
6Effects of different ridge-furrow mulching systems on yield and water use efficiency of summer maize in the Loess Plateau of China显示文摘Ridge-furrow film mulching has been proven to be an effective water-saving and yield-improving planting pattern in arid and semi-arid regions.Drought is the main factor limiting the local agricultural production in the Loess Plateau of China.In this study,we tried to select a suitable ridge-furrow mulching system to improve this situation.A two-year field experiment of summer maize(Zea mays L.)during the growing seasons of 2017 and 2018 was conducted to systematically analyze the effects of flat planting with no film mulching(CK),ridge-furrow with ridges mulching and furrows bare(RFM),and double ridges and furrows full mulching(DRFFM)on soil temperature,soil water storage(SWS),root growth,aboveground dry matter,water use efficiency(WUE),and grain yield.Both RFM and DRFFM significantly increased soil temperature in ridges,while soil temperature in furrows for RFM and DRFFM was similar to that for CK.The largest SWS was observed in DRFFM,followed by RFM and CK,with significant differences among them.SWS was lower in ridges than in furrows for RFM.DRFFM treatment kept soil water in ridges,resulting in higher SWS in ridges than in furrows after a period of no water input.Across the two growing seasons,compared with CK,RFM increased root mass by 10.2%and 19.3%at the jointing and filling stages,respectively,and DRFFM increased root mass by 7.9%at the jointing stage but decreased root mass by 6.0%at the filling stage.Over the two growing seasons,root length at the jointing and filling stages was respectively increased by 75.4%and 58.7%in DRFFM,and 20.6%and 30.2%in RFM.Relative to the jointing stage,the increased proportions of root mass and length at the filling stage were respectively 42.8%and 94.9%in DRFFM,63.2%and 115.1%in CK,and 76.7%and 132.1%in RFM,over the two growing seasons,showing that DRFFM slowed down root growth while RFM promoted root growth at the later growth stages.DRFFM treatment increased root mass and root length in ridges and decreased them in 0-30 cm soil layer,while RFM increased them in 0-30 cm soil layer.Compared with CK,DRFFM decreased aboveground dry matter while RFM increased it.Evapotranspiration was reduced by 9.8%and 7.1%in DRFFM and RFM,respectively,across the two growing seasons.Grain yield was decreased by 14.3%in DRFFM and increased by 13.6%in RFM compared with CK over the two growing seasons.WUE in CK was non-significantly 6.8%higher than that in DRFFM and significantly 22.5%lower than that in RFM across the two growing seasons.Thus,RFM planting pattern is recommended as a viable water-saving option for summer maize in the Loess Plateau of China.CHEN Pengpeng GU Xiaobo LI Yuannong QIAO Linran LI Yupeng FANG Heng YIN Minhua ZHOU Changming 2021Journal of Arid Land2021,13,9:1

8A Dynamic Fuzzy Description Logic显示文摘Fuzzy description logics are considered as the logical infrastructure of fuzzy knowledge representation on the semantic Web. To deal with fuzzy and dynamic knowledge on the semantic Web and its applications, a new fuzzy extension of Attribute Lan-guage with Complement based on dynamic fuzzy logic called the dynamic fuzzy description logic (DFALC) is presented. The syn-tax and semantics of DFALC are formally defined, and the forms of axioms and assertions are specified. The DFALC provides more reasonable logic foundation for the semantic Web, and overcomes the insufficiency of using fuzzy description logic FALC to act as logical foundation for the semantic Web. 9Experimental clearance rate and intraguild predation of jellyfish Cyanea nozakii显示文摘Cyanea nozakii,a common jellyfish distributed in offshore China,has a complex trophic relationship with other zooplankton groups.However,few studies have reported the predation rates and prey selection patterns of C.nozakii medusae on different prey items.Research is also lacking on the intraguild predation of Aurelia coerulea(another common bloom jellyfish in offshore China)by C.nozakii.To address the knowledge gaps,the clearance rates of C.nozakii for different prey items,including copepods(small<1000μm and large>1000μm),fish larvae,and gelatinous prey(hydromedusae,A.coerulea ephyrae,and chaetognaths),were measured.The influence of predator size on the clearance rate was also determined.Additionally,we examined the intraguild predation of C.nozakii on A.coerulea medusae.The clearance rates of C.nozakii varied widely with prey organisms,being independent of prey concentrations.Gelatinous organisms,except for chaetognaths,were captured with considerably high efficiency,followed by fish larvae and copepods,indicating the preferential prey selection of gelatinous organisms by C.nozakii.The clearance rate increased linearly with the cross-sectional area of C.nozakii.Body size in medusae may,to some extents,underpin their capacity to capture more prey by increasing the encounter rate and capture success through ontogeny.C.nozakii preyed voraciously on A.coerulea in high feeding efficiency,but the clearance rate decreased with increasing A.coerulea(as prey)size.This phenomenon of intraguild predation suggests a speculative hypothesis of potential population regulation of A.coerulea by C.nozakii.The information regarding the feeding ecology of C.nozakii reported in this study is important for understanding plankton dynamics in marine ecosystems with extensive occurrences of this jellyfish.Pengpeng WANG Fang ZHANG Song SUN Shuguo LÜ 2024Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2024,42,1:0
10Non-contact biomimetic mechanism for selective hydrogenation of nitroaromatics on heterogeneous metal nanocatalysts显示文摘While the enzymatic reduction of unsaturated compounds usually has high specificity,highly selective reduction processes are hardly realized by heterogeneous industrial catalysts,which is critical for the green production of many fine chemicals.Here,we report an unexpected discovery of a biomimetic behavior of dicyandiamide(DICY)-modified Pt nanocatalysts for the green hydrogenation of a wide range of nitroaromatics.We demonstrate that the surface modification by DICY not only prevents the direct contact of nitroaromatic reactants with Pt surface but also induces an effective non-contact hydrogenation mechanism mediated by protons and electrons.In such a process,the DICY layer serves as a“semi-permeable membrane”to allow the permeation of H_(2) molecules for being activated into electrons and protons at the Pt-DICY interface.With the generation of separated protons and electrons,the nitro group with strong electrophilic properties can be hydrogenated through the electron transfer followed by the proton transfer,which is facilitated by the hydrogen bonding network formed by protonated DICY.The unique mechanism makes it highly directional toward the hydrogenation of nitro groups without side reactions.Owing to its capability to largely eliminate the waste generation,the developed Pt-DICY catalysts have been successfully applied for the green industrial production of many important aniline intermediates.Wenting Zhou Laiyang Li Ruixuan Qin Jiaxin Zhu Shengjie Liu Shiguang Mo Zaifa Shi Huihuang Fang Pengpeng Ruan Jun Cheng Gang Fu Nanfeng Zheng 2022Science China Chemistry2022,65,4:0
