| 1 | 2018 Chinese Pediatric Cardiology Society(CPCS) guideline for diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents显示文摘Syncope belongs to the transient loss of consciousness(TLOC), characterized by a rapid onset, short duration, and spontaneous complete recovery. It is common in children and adolescents, accounting for 1% to 2% of emergency department visits.Recurrent syncope can seriously affect children's physical and mental health, learning ability and quality of life and sometimes cardiac syncope even poses a risk of sudden death. The present guideline for the diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents was developed for guiding a better clinical management of pediatric syncope. Based on the globally recent development and the evidence-based data in China, 2018 Chinese Pediatric Cardiology Society(CPCS) guideline for diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents was jointly prepared by the Pediatric Cardiology Society, Chinese Pediatric Society, Chinese Medical Association(CMA)/Committee on Pediatric Syncope, Pediatricians Branch, Chinese Medical Doctor Association(CMDA)/Committee on Pediatric Cardiology, Chinese College of Cardiovascular Physicians, Chinese Medical Doctor Association(CMDA)/Pediatric Cardiology Society, Beijing Pediatric Society, Beijing Medical Association(BMA). | 5 | Standard pancreatoduodenectomy versus extended pancreatoduodenectomy with modified retroperitoneal nerve resection in patients with pancreatic head cancer:a multicenter randomized controlled trial显示文摘Background:The extent of pancreatoduodenectomy for pancreatic head cancer remains controversial,and more high-level clinical evidence is needed.This study aimed to evaluate the outcome of extended pancreatoduodenectomy(EPD)with retroperitoneal nerve resection in pancreatic head cancer.Methods:This multicenter randomized trial was performed at 6 Chinese highvolume hospitals that enrolled patients between October 3,2012,and September 21,2017.Four hundred patients with stage I or II pancreatic head cancer and without specific pancreatic cancer treatments(preoperative chemotherapy or chemoradiation)within three months were randomly assigned to undergo standard pancreatoduodenectomy(SPD)or EPD,with the latter followed by dissection of additional lymph nodes(LNs),nerves and soft tissues 270◦on the right side surrounding the superior mesenteric artery and celiac axis.The primary endpoint was overall survival(OS)by intention-to-treat(ITT).The secondary endpoints were disease-free survival(DFS),mortality,morbidity,and postoperative pain intensity.Results:TheR1 ratewas slightly lower with EPD(8.46%)thanwith SPD(12.56%).The morbidity and mortality rates were similar between the two groups.The median OS was similar in the EPD and SPD groups by ITT in the whole study cohort(23.0 vs.20.2 months,P=0.100),while the median DFS was superior in the EPD group(16.1 vs.13.2 months,P=0.031).Patients with preoperative CA19–9<200.0 U/mL had significantly improved OS and DFS with EPD(EPD vs.SPD,30.8 vs.20.9 months,P=0.009;23.4 vs.13.5 months,P<0.001).The EPD group exhibited significantly lower locoregional(16.48%vs.35.20%,P<0.001)andmesenteric LNrecurrence rates(3.98%vs.10.06%,P=0.022).The EPD group exhibited less back pain 6 months postoperation than the SPD group.Conclusions:EPD for pancreatic head cancer did not significantly improve OS,but patients with EPD treatment had significantly improved DFS.In the subgroup analysis,improvements in bothOS and DFS in the EPD armwere observed in patients with preoperative CA19–9<200.0 U/mL.EPD could be used as an effective surgical procedure for patients with pancreatic head cancer,especially those with preoperative CA19–9<200.0 U/mL. | Qing Lin Shangyou Zheng Xianjun Yu Meifu Chen Yu Zhou Quanbo Zhou Chonghui Hu Jing Gu Zhongdong Xu LinWang Yimin Liu Qingyu Liu MinWang Guolin Li He Cheng Dongkai Zhou Guodong Liu Zhiqiang Fu Yu Long Yixiong Li Weilin Wang Renyi Qin Zhihua Li Rufu Chen | 2023 | Cancer Communications2023,43,2: | 3 |

| 9 | Impact of dietary supplementation of b-hydroxybutyric acid on performance,nutrient digestibility,organ development and serum stress indicators in early-weaned goat kids显示文摘The objective of this study was to determine the effect of dietary supplementation of b-hydroxybutyric acid(BHBA)on performance,nutrient digestibility,organ development,and serum composition in earlyweaned goat kids.Sixty-four goat kids at 30 d of age were assigned to 4 treatments in a completely randomized design:1)control(basal diet);2)low(basal diet with 3 g/d per animal BHBA);3)medium(basal diet with 6 g/d per animal BHBA;and 4)high(basal diet with 9 g/d per animal BHBA).Subsequently,48(6 kids per treatment)goat kids were randomly selected and slaughtered at 60 and 90 d of age.Compared with the control group,BHBA at low and high doses increased body weight(P<0.05),average daily gain(P<0.01),and average daily starter intake(P<0.01).The BHBA improved organ development,especially at the lowest dose(P<0.01).The digestibility of dry matter and crude protein increased with age(P<0.05).However,BHBA did not affect nutrient digestibility.Compared with the control group,serum ceruloplasmin increased(P<0.05)with high BHBA level at 90 d of age.However,the serum creatinine(P<0.05)increased over time but was not affected by BHBA.The serum total antioxidant capacity and superoxide dismutase decreased with the high dose of BHBA at 90 d of age(P<0.01).In contrast,the serum glutathione peroxidase and malondialdehyde increased with the high doses of BHBA(P<0.01).Overall,low doses of BHBA were positive for growth performance,organ development,and health status against weaning stress.Whereas high doses of BHBA in the long term could negatively affect antioxidant status. | Mahmoud M.Abdelsattar Einar Vargas-Bello-Perez Yimin Zhuang Yuze Fu Naifeng Zhang | 2022 | Animal Nutrition2022,,2: | 1 |
| 10 | Enhancing corrosion resistance of ZK60 magnesium alloys via Ca microalloying: The impact of nanoscale precipitates显示文摘Enhancing corrosion resistance of Mg-Zn alloys with high strength and low cost was critical for broadening their large-scale practical applications. Here we prepared solutionized, peak-and over-aged ZK60 alloys with and without microalloying Ca(0.26 wt.%) to explore the effects of nanoscale precipitates on their corrosion behavior in detail via experimental analyses and theoretical calculations. The results suggested the peak-aged ZK60 alloy with Ca addition showed improved corrosion resistance in comparison with the alloys without Ca,owing to the contribution of Ca on the refinement of precipitates and increase in their number density. Although the precipitates and Mg matrix formed micro-galvanic couples leading to dissolution, the fine and dense precipitates could generate “in-situ pinning” effect on the corrosion products, forming a spider-web-like structure and improving the corrosion inhibition ability accordingly. The pinning effect was closely related to the size and number density of precipitates. | 11 | A new progressive open-set recognition method with adaptive probability threshold显示文摘In the traditional pattern classification method,it usually assumes that the object to be classified must lie in one of given(known)classes of the training data set.However,the training data set may not contain the class of some objects in practice,and this is considered as an Open-Set Recognition(OSR)problem.In this paper,we propose a new progressive open-set recognition method with adaptive probability threshold.Both the labeled training data and the test data(objects to be classified)are put into a common data set,and the k-Nearest Neighbors(k-NNs)of each object are sought in this common set.Then,we can determine the probability of object lying in the given classes.If the majority of k-NNs of the object are from labeled training data,this object quite likely belongs to one of the given classes,and the density of the object and its neighbors is taken into account here.However,when most of k-NNs are from the unlabeled test data set,the class of object is considered very uncertain because the class of test data is unknown,and this object cannot be classified in this step.Once the objects belonging to known classes with high probability are all found,we re-calculate the probability of the other uncertain objects belonging to known classes based on the labeled training data and the objects marked with the estimated probability.Such iteration will stop when the probabilities of all the objects belonging to known classes are not changed.Then,a modified Otsu’s method is employed to adaptively seek the probability threshold for the final classification.If the probability of object belonging to known classes is smaller than this threshold,it will be assigned to the ignorant(unknown)class that is not included in training data set.The other objects will be committed to a specific class.The effectiveness of the proposed method has been validated using some experiments. | Zhunga LIU Xuemeng HUI Yimin FU | 2023 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2023,36,11: | 0 |
| 12 | Mechanical Properties of TiN Coating on Nanocrystalline Surface Layer of 304 Stainless Steel显示文摘Surface nanocrystallization(SNC)can markedly improve surface mechanical properties of metallic materials and accelerate thermal diffusion of elemental atoms.In this work we study the effects of SNC on structure and mechanical properties of TiN coating on 304 stainless steel substrate.The steel was subjected to 15 min surface mechanical attrition treatment(SMAT)to obtain a nanocrystalline surface layer with thickness about 30μm.TiN coating was deposited on the surface nanocrystallized and the coarse-grained steel substrates by multi-arc ion plating.X-ray diffraction shows that TiN(111)orientation of the coating is much reduced due to SNC treatment.Mechanical tests show that the nanocrystalline surface layer has obviously increased surface hardness of the coating system;toughness and adhesion of the coating,impact resistance of the coating system are also improved.Advantages of SNC-hard coating processing over the conventional duplex treatment consisting of thermal diffusion process-hard coating are shortly discussed. | Wang Changpeng Zhou Yimin Zhu Xiaodong Fu Tao Ma Shengge | 2012 | 稀有金属材料与工程2012,41,S1: | 0 |
| 13 | Enhancing the electrocatalytic performance of nitrate reduction to ammonia by in-situ nitrogen leaching显示文摘Electrochemical nitrate reduction reaction (NITRR) is regarded as a “two birds-one stone” method for the treatment of nitrate contaminant in polluted water and the synthesis of valuable ammonia, which is retarded by the lack of highly reactive and selective electrocatalysts .Herein, for the first time, nickel foam supported Co_(4) N was designed as a high-performance NITRR catalyst by an in-situ nonmetal leaching-induced strategy.At the optimal potential, the Co_(4) N/NF catalyst achieves ultra-high Faraday efficiency and NH_(3) selectivity of 95.4% and 99.4%, respectively.Ex situ X-ray absorption spectroscopy (XAS), together with other experiments powerfully reveal that the nitrogen vacancies produced by nitrogen leaching are stable and play a key role in boosting nitrate reduction to ammonia.Theoretical calculations confirm that Co_(4) N with abundant nitrogen vacancies can optimize the adsorption energies of NO_(3)^(-) and intermediates, lower the free energy (Δ G ) of the potential-determining step (*NH_(3) to NH_(3) ) and inhibit the formation of N-containing byproducts.In addition, we also conclude that the nitrogen vacancies can stabilize the adsorbed hydrogen, making H_(2) quite difficult to produce, and lowering ΔG from *NO to *NOH, which facilitates the selective reduction of nitrate.This study reveals significant insights about the in-situ nonmetal leaching to enhance the NITRR activity. | Mimi Fu Yini Mao Hua Wang Wei Luo Yimin Jiang Wei Shen Ming Li Rongxing He | 2024 | Chinese Chemical Letters2024,35,2: | 0 |

| 16 | Transcriptomic and metabolomic insights into the roles of exogenous b-hydroxybutyrate acid for the development of rumen epithelium in young goats显示文摘Beta-hydroxybutyric acid(BHBA),as one of the main metabolic ketones in the rumen epithelium,plays critical roles in cellular growth and metabolism.The ketogenic capacity is associated with the maturation of rumen in young ruminants,and the exogenous BHBA in diet may promote the rumen development.However,the effects of exogenous BHBA on rumen remain unknown.This is the first study to investigate the mechanisms of BHBA on gene expression and metabolism of rumen epithelium using young goats as a model through multi-omics techniques.Thirty-two young goats were divided into control,low dose,middle dose,and high dose groups by supplementation of BHBA in starter(0,3,6,and 9 g/day,respectively).Results demonstrated the dietary of BHBA promoted the growth performance of young goats and increased width and length of the rumen papilla(P<0.05).Hub genes in host transcriptome that were positively related to rumen characteristics and BHBA concentration were identified.Several upregulated hub genes including NDUFC1,NDUFB4,NDUFB10,NDUFA11 and NDUFA1 were enriched in the gene ontology(GO)pathway of nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide(NADH)dehydrogenase(ubiquinone)activity,while ATP5ME,ATP5PO and ATP5PF were associated with ATP synthesis.RT-PCR revealed the expression of genes(HMGCS2,BDH1,SLC16A3,etc.)associated with lipolysis increased significantly by BHBA supplementation(P<0.05).Metabolomics indicated that some metabolites such as glucose,palmitic acid,cortisol and capric acid were also increased(P<0.05).This study revealed that BHBA promoted rumen development through altering NADH balance and accelerating lipid metabolism,which provides a theoretical guidance for the strategies of gastrointestinal health and development of young ruminants. | Yimin Zhuang Jianmin Chai Mahmoud M.Abdelsattar Yuze Fu Naifeng Zhang | 2023 | Animal Nutrition2023,,4: | 0 |
