| 1 | Effects of Laser Shock Processing on Mechanical Properties of Laser Welded ANSI 304 Stainless Steel Joint显示文摘With the rapid development of engineering component with integration,high-speed and multi-parameter,traditional techniques haven't met practical needs in extreme service environment.Laser welding,a new welding technology,has been widely used.However,it would generate the drop of mechanical properties for laser welded joint due to its thermal effect.Laser shock processing(LSP) is one of the most effective methods to improve the mechanical properties of laser welded ANSI 304 stainless steel joint.In this paper,the effects of LSP on the mechanical properties of laser welded ANSI 304 stainless steel joint have been investigated.The welded joint on the front of the tensile samples is treated by LSP impacts,and the overlapping rate of the laser spot is 50%.The tensile test of the laser welded joint with and without LSP impacts is carried out,and the fracture morphology of the tensile samples is analyzed by scanning electron microscope(SEM).Compared with the yield strength of 11.70 kN,the tensile strength of 37.66 kN,the yield-to-tensile strength ratio of 0.310 7,the elongation of 25.20%,the area reduction of 32.68% and the elastic modulus of 13 063.876 MPa,the corresponding values after LSP impacts are 14.25 kN,38.74 kN,0.367 8,26.58%,42.29% and 14 754.394 MPa,respectively.Through LSP impacts,the increasing ratio of the yield strength and tensile strength are 121.79% and 102.87%,respectively;the elongation and area reduction are improved by 5.48% and 29.38%,respectively.By comparing with coarse fracture surface of the welded joint,the delamination splitting with some cracks in the sharp corner of the welded joint and asymmetric dimples,LSP can cause brighter fracture surface,and finer and more uniform dimples.Finally,the schematic illustration of dimple formation with LSP is clearly described.The proposed research ensures that the LSP technology can clearly improve the yield strength,tensile strength,yield-to-tensile strength ratio,elongation,area reduction and elastic modulus of the welded joint.The enhancement mechanism of LSP on laser welded ANSI 304 stainless steel joint is mainly due to the fact that the refined and uniform dimples effectively delay the fracture of laser welded joints. | ZHANG Yongkang ZHANG Lei LUO Kaiyu SUN Guifang LU Jinzhong DAI Fengze ZHONG Junwei | 2012 | Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2012,25,2: | 11 |

| 3 | A novel mechanism controls anther opening and closing in Paris polyphylla var. Yunnanensis显示文摘The phenomena of anther opening and closing in Paris polyphylla var. yunnanensis (Franch) Hand.-Mazz were described in detail, and the effects of ecological factors on those phenomena related to anther opening, closing and the fly-pollination mechanism were discussed. Anthers of P. polyphylla var. yunnanensis open in the morning and close in the evening every day during an over 20 days’ period of anthesis. Light was detected as the main factor controlling this daily anther opening and closing. Anther opening can be reversed in response to rain and re-opens when rain stops. Relative humidity (RH) has a slight effect on anther opening and closing. Flower spans can be prolonged under laboratory conditions. | 4 | Underwater Laser Welding/Cladding for High-performance Repair of Marine Metal Materials:A Review显示文摘With the rapid developments of marine resource exploitation,mounts of marine engineering equipment are settled on the ocean.When it is not possible to move the damaged equipment into a dry dock,welding operations must be performed in underwater environments.The underwater laser welding/cladding technique is a promising and advanced technique which could be widely applied to the maintenance of the damaged equipment.The present review paper aims to present a critical analysis and engineering overview of the underwater laser welding/cladding technique.First,we elaborated recent advances and key issues of drainage nozzles all over the world.Next,we presented the underwater laser processing and microstructural-mechanical behavior of repaired marine materials.Then,the newly developed powder-feeding based and wire-feeding based underwater laser direct metal deposition techniques were reviewed.The differences between the convection,conduction,and the metallurgical kinetics in the melt pools during underwater laser direct metal deposition and in-air laser direct metal deposition were illustrated.After that,several challenges that need to be overcame to achieve the full potential of the underwater laser welding/cladding technique are proposed.Finally,suggestions for future directions to aid the development of underwater laser welding/cladding technology and underwater metallurgical theory are provided.The present review will not only enrich the knowledge in the underwater repair technology,but also provide important guidance for the potential applications of the technology on the marine engineering. | Guifang Sun Zhandong Wang Yi Lu Mingzhi Chen Kun Yang Zhonghua Ni | 2022 | Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2022,35,1: | 4 |

| 7 | Interaction between curcumin and mimetic biomembrane显示文摘Curcumin,a major bioactive compound in turmeric,has a broad spectrum of antioxidant,anticarcinogenic,antimutagenic and anti-inflammatory properties.At the molecular level,curcumin modulates many structurally unrelated membrane proteins through several signaling pathways.Curcumin has been suggested to change the properties of cell membranes and affect the membrane-bound proteins indirectly;however,the detailed mechanism has yet to be investigated.In this paper,self-assembled bilayer lipid membranes are artificially constructed on the surface of a gold electrode to mimic biomembranes,and interaction between the supported membranes and curcumin is studied electrochemically.Results show that curcumin interacts with the membranes strongly,in a concentration-dependent manner.At low concentrations,curcumin tends to insert into the outer monolayer only,while at high concentrations,it may also begin to penetrate the inner monolayer.The results obtained in this work may enhance our understanding of the effect of curcumin,and possibly flavonoids,on cell membranes and membrane proteins. | CHEN GuiFang CHEN YangYang YANG NaNa ZHU XueJun SUN LiZhou LI GenXi | 2012 | Science China(Life Sciences)2012,55,6: | 2 |
| 8 | Control of de novo root regeneration efficiency by developmental status of Arabidopsis leaf explants显示文摘De novo root regeneration(DNRR) has wide applications in agriculture such as those related to cutting technology. Detached Arabidopsis thaliana leaf explants can regenerate adventitious roots without added hormones. The regenerative ability is highly dependent on the developmental status of the leaf. An immature leaf has a higher regenerative ability, while a mature leaf is difficult to regenerate. Using RNASeq analysis, we showed that the expression levels of many genes, including those in the auxin network,changed during leaf maturation. Particularly, the expression levels of many YUCCA(YUC) genes in the auxin biosynthesis pathway are responsive to leaf maturation. Overexpression of YUC1 in the yuc-1 D dominant mutant rescued the rooting defects caused by leaf maturation. In addition, YUC4 expression levels were also affected by circadian rhythms. The regenerative ability was reduced in both immature and mature mutant leaf explants from the new wuschel-related homeobox 11-3(wox11-3) and wox12-3 mutant alleles created by the CRISPR/Cas9 method. Overall, the transcriptome and genetic data, together with the auxin concentration analysis, indicate that the ability to upregulate auxin levels upon detachment may be reduced during leaf maturation. In this paper, a framework of the Virtual Huanghe (Yellow) River System was first presented from the view of technology, which included five main modules —data sources, 3D simulation terrain database, 3D simulation model database, 3D simulation implementation and ap- plication system. | 17 | Behavioral problems and related factors in children of different aged patients with schizophrenia: A cross-sectional study显示文摘BACKGROUND:With the age growing,changes of behavioral problems in children whose parents had schizophrenia,differences of related factors and ways for particular intervention should be further studied. OBJECTIVE:To survey the behavioral problems in children of different aged patients with chizophrenia and investigate the correlation between behavioral problems and related factors in different aged groups. DESIGN:Cross-sectional study. SETTING:Shandong Mental Health Center. PARTICIPANTS:A total of 364 patients with schizophrenia were selected from eleven psychiatric hospitals from June 1999 to June 2000. There were 179 males and 185 females,and their ages ranged from 28 to 45 years. All patients met modified diagnostic criteria of schizophrenia(the second edition),China Classification of Mental Diseases and Diagnostic Criteria. Meanwhile,children of the 364 patients were grouped based on their ages,including 6-11 years old group [n =217;114 males and 103 females;mean age of(9±2) years] and 12-16 years old group [n =147;99 males and 48 females;mean age of(14± 1) years]. The Chinese norms of Achenbach's Child Behavior Check List were regarded as the normal control group. METHODS:Children who received self-made mental health related factors inventory and Achenbach's Child Behavior Check List were involved in this study. All children and their parents provided the confirmed consent. Achenbach's Child Behavior Check List was used for parents to mainly evaluate children,and the results manifested various behavioral problems based on different sexes and different ages. Self-made mental health related factors inventory contained questionnaires for parents and children,respectively. In this study,home situation of parents as well as personality characteristics and educational styles of children were mainly evaluated. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES:① Scores of Achenbach's Child Behavior Check List in different aged children;② Scores of self-made mental health related factors inventory based on different home situations and educational styles. RESULTS:Children of 364 patients were involved in the final analysis. ① There were no significant differences in total score of Achenbach's Child Behavior Check List and sex in the two groups(P > 0.05). There were significant differences in schizoid,body recount,aggression,depression,hyperactivity,violating discipline,compulsion and total abnormal rate of boys between the 6-11 years old group and the normal control group(P < 0.05-0.01). In addition,there were also significant differences in poor communication,depression,hyperactivity,violating discipline,compulsion and total abnormal rate of girls between the 6-11 years old group and the normal control group(P < 0.05-0.01). ② As compared with normal control group,scores of home environment in the two aged groups demonstrated that educational level was low;interpersonal relationship was poor;relation to children was not closed;relationship between husband and wife was not harmonious;positive rate of family history was high;economic status was poor;family atmosphere was poor. Therefore,there was significant difference(P < 0.01). Educational level in parental generation and single parent family in the 6-11 years old group were higher than that in the 12-16 years old group,with significant difference(P < 0.05). As compared with the normal control group,results of education demonstrated that children in the two aged groups had poor communication with other children;they had poor behaviors in schools;most of them were boarded and had poor relationship with their parents;teaching styles for children were different. CONCLUSION:All children of different aged patients with schizophrenia had poor home environment and education;and they were often affected by other factors. Behavioral problems were changed with the age growing;in addition,these changes were related to home environment,education and society.
