| 9 | Effect of Andalusite on Properties of Homogenized Bauxite Based Al2O3-SiC-C Castables显示文摘In this study,in order to evaluate the performance of homogenized bauxite,two Al_2O_3-SiC-C castables were prepared using homogenized bauxite and brown fused corundum as aggregates,respectively. 5 mass%andalusite was introduced into the two castables so as to research the effect and mechanism of andalusite in Al_2O_3-SiC-C castables. | 10 | Effects of Electro-fused Magnesia on Properties of Al_2O_3-SiC-C Castable显示文摘Al2O3-SiC-C castables for iron trough with fused magnesia powder (0, 3%, 6%, 9% and 12%) were prepared with brown fused corundum particles (5-3 mm, 3-1 mm, ≤1 mm), white fused corundum powder (≤0.088 mm), SiC particle (≤1 mm) and powder (≤0.088 mm), fused magnesia powder (≤0.088 mm), reactive α-Al2O3 micropowder, ultrafine SiO2, Si powder and sphere pitch as main starting materials and calcium aluminate cement as binder. The specimens were fired at 1 100 ℃ and 1 450 ℃ for 3 h after vibrating moulding, curing, demoulding and drying at 110 ℃ for 24 h. Bulk density, apparent porosity, linear change rate, modulus of rupture, resistance to blast furnace slag, oxidation resistance, phase composition and microstructure of the specimens were analyzed. | 11 | Effect of La_2O_3 Addition on Hydration Properties of CaO Clinker显示文摘To obtain CaO clinker with high density,low porosity,and good hydration resistance,the effect of the La_-2O_3 content on physical properties,such as sintering property and hydration resistance of CaO clinker was researched in this paper. Apparent porosity and bulk density were measured by Archimedes principle with kerosene as the medium. Two methods were used to test hydration resistance of CaO clinker. One was carried out in a humidity cabinet at 20 ℃ with 90% of relative humidity.Another was the boiling method. SEM and EDS characterization analyses of CaO clinker were performed to observe the microstructural information and the hydration mechanism was put forward. The results show that:(1)the specimen with 0. 79 mass% of La_2O_3 addition has lower apparent porosity,and higher bulk density;(2)the hydration mass gain of CaO clinker with 0.79 mass% La_2O_3 addition is lower,which is less than 1% after 20 days;(3) La_2O_3 mainly distributes in the grain boundary,and a small amount of La_2O_3 dissolves in grains.
