| 2 | First experimental constraints on WIMP couplings in the effective field theory framework from CDEX显示文摘We present weakly interacting massive particles(WIMPs) search results performed using two approaches of effective field theory from the China Dark Matter Experiment(CDEX), based on the data from both CDEX-1B and CDEX-10 stages. In the nonrelativistic effective field theory approach, both time-integrated and annual modulation analyses were used to set new limits for the coupling of WIMP-nucleon effective operators at 90% confidence level(C.L.) and improve over the current bounds in the low mχregion. In the chiral effective field theory approach, data from CDEX-10 were used to set an upper limit on WIMP-pion coupling at 90% C.L. | 3 | First results on ^(76)Ge neutrinoless double beta decay from CDEX-1 experiment显示文摘We report the first results on ^(76)Ge neutrinoless double beta decay from stage one of the China dark-matter experiment(CDEX).A p-type point-contact high-purity germanium detector with a mass of 994 g has been installed to detect neutrinoless double beta decay events, as well as to directly detect dark matter particles. An exposure of 304 kg d has been analyzed over a wide spectral band from 500 keV to 3 MeV. The average event rate obtained was about 0.012 counts per keV per kg per day over the 2.039 MeV energy range. The half-life of ^(76)Ge neutrinoless double beta decay derived based on this result is T^(0ν)1/2>6.4×10^(22) yr(90% C.L.). | 4 | Molecular characterization and functional analysis of daf-8 in the pinewood nematode,Bursaphelenchus xylophilus显示文摘Bursaphelenchus xylophilus,causal agent of pine wilt disease,causes extensive damage worldwide.Strate-gies are needed to inhibit population growth or block the spread of the invasive nematode to control pine wilt dis-ease.The gene daf-8 plays crucial roles in larval develop-ment and dauer formation in Caenorhabditis elegans,but little is known about its orthologue in B.xylophilus.In the present molecular characterization and functional analysis of daf-8 in B.xylophilus(Bx-daf-8),RT-qPCR showed that the expression of Bx-daf-8 gradually increased during the embryonic stage,peaked in the second-stage juvenile(J2),then dramatically dropped in the J3,and remained at that low level for the rest of its life.Bx-daf-8-transgenic C.elegans was employed to mimic the spatiotemporal expression of Bx-daf-8,which was expressed close to the pharynx during early embryogenesis and weakly throughout the whole body during late embryogenesis.It was observed in head neurons and tail ganglions throughout all postembryonic stages.B.xylophilus embryos were severely abnormal,and hatching rate decreased sharply after Bx-daf-8 knockdown.daf-16-1 and da-f16-2,downstream genes in the IIS pathway,also dropped sharply after Bx-daf-8 knockdown.We propose that TGFβmay crosstalk with the IIS pathway upstream of Bx-daf-16 and that daf-8 may act as a master regulator of daf-16 in B.xylophilus.However,knockdown of Bx-daf-8 did not lead to constitutive developmental arrest at the dauer larval stage,indicating that dauer entry in B.xylophilus might be controlled by several genes and is more complicated than in C.elegans.Bx-daf-8 alone did not control the dauer entry in B.xylophilus,but it was indispensable for embryogen-esis,providing a potential target for suppressing population growth of B.xylophilus. | Jinghan Wang Huan Hong Rong Xie Jingjing Ji Kai Guo Liqun Bai Jia Tang Hongshi Yu Jianren Ye Jiafu Hu | 2022 | Journal of Forestry Research2022,33,2: | 1 |

| 8 | Performances of a prototype point-contact germanium detector immersed in liquid nitrogen for light dark matter search显示文摘The CDEX-10 experiment searches for light weakly interacting massive particles, a form of dark matter, at the China Jinping Underground Laboratory, where approximately 10 kg of germanium detectors are arranged in an array and immersed in liquid nitrogen. Herein, we report on the experimental apparatus, detector characterization, and spectrum analysis of one prototype detector. Owing to the higher rise-time resolution of the CDEX-10 prototype detector as compared with CDEX-1 B, we identified the origin of an observed category of extremely fast events. For data analysis of the CDEX-10 prototype detector, we introduced and applied an improved bulk/surface event discrimination method. The results of the new method were compared to those of the CDEX-1 B spectrum. | 9 | Discovery and Characterization of a Novel Method for Effective Improvement of Cyclodextrin Yield and Product Specificity显示文摘Cyclodextrins(CDs) are widely used in food,phamiaceuticals, drug delivery, and chemical industries and in agriculture and environmental engineering. To improve the yield and selectivity of CDs, this work presented a tacile, scalable and efficient enzymatic synthesis of β-CD from starch using β-cyclodextrin glycosyltransferase (CGTase, EC2.4.1.19) from Bacillus cereus. First, we found that the pretreatment of starch dramatically influenced CDs yield that was related to the structure and molecular weight of the substrate starch. Second, alcohol solvents influenced the yield and product selectivity of CDs;tertiary alcohols enhanced CDs yield(from 54.95% to 68.21%) and secondary alcohols increased the product selectivity(β-CD/γ-CD changed from 6.25 to 8.05). Fluorescence quenching analysis showed that the binding constants and entropy of the solvents influenced the yield and product selectivity, respectively.
