| 2 | N-doped defective carbon with trace Co for efficient rechargeable liquid electrolyte-/all-solid-state Zn-air batteries显示文摘Simple synthesis of multifunctional electrocatalysts with plentiful active sites from earth-abundant materials is especially fascinating. Here, N-doped defective carbon with trace Co(1.5 wt%) was prepared via a scalable one pot solid pyrolysis process. The sample exhibits efficient bifunctional OER/ORR activity in alkaline, mainly ascribed to the unique micro-mesoporous structure(1–3 nm), high population of graphitic-N doping(up to 49.0%), abundant defects and the encapsulated Co nanoparticles with graphitized carbon. The according rechargeable liquid Zn-air batteries showed excellent performance(maximum power density of 154.0 mW cm^(-2); energy density of 773 Wh kg^(-1) at 5 mA cm^(-2) and charging-discharging cycling stability over 100 cycles). | 4 | Self-centering seismic retrofit scheme for reinforced concrete frame structures:SDOF system study显示文摘This paper presents the results of a parametric study of self-centering seismic retrofit schemes for reinforced concrete (RC) frame buildings. The self-centering retrofit system features flag-shaped hysteresis and minimal residual deformation. For comparison purpose,an alternate seismic retrofit scheme that uses a bilinear-hysteresis retrofit system such as buckling-restrained braces (BRB) is also considered in this paper. The parametric study was carried out in a single-degree-of-freedom (SDOF) system framework since a multi-story building structure may be idealized as an equivalent SDOF system and investigation of the performance of this equivalent SDOF system can provide insight into the seismic response of the multi-story building. A peak-oriented hysteresis model which can consider the strength and stiffness degradation is used to describe the hysteretic behavior of RC structures. The parametric study involves two key parameters -the strength ratio and elastic stiffness ratio between the seismic retrofit system and the original RC frame. An ensemble of 172 earthquake ground motion records scaled to the design basis earthquake in California with a probability of exceedance of 10% in 50 years was constructed for the simulation-based parametric study. The effectiveness of the two seismic retrofit schemes considered in this study is evaluated in terms of peak displacement ratio,peak acceleration ratio,energy dissipation demand ratio and residual displacement ratio between the SDOF systems with and without retrofit. | 8 | Theoretical analysis of the limiting rate of phreatic evaporation for aeolian sandy soil in Taklimakan Desert显示文摘Phreatic evaporation is a great lose for shallow groundwater in the Taklimakan Desert. Given soil type and groundwater table, the limiting rate of phreatic evaporation is defined as the maximum of water transferred from groundwater to soil surface per unit time, which is a key parameter and control condition for phreatic evaporation model developing. The soil water characteristic curve for the aeolian sandy soil in the Taklimakan Desert was fitted with the least square method based on the formula of soil moisture characteristics curve proposed by Van Genuchten, using observed soil moisture and soil water suction data. The unsaturated hydraulic conductivity was determined by the instantaneous profile method in situ and the calculation formula for unsaturated hydraulic conductivity was established. According to the steady flow theory, the quasi-analytical solution of limiting rate of phreatic evaporation was derived on the basis of generalization of the formula of unsaturated hydraulic conductivity. | 9 | Ultra-high conductive 3D aluminum photonic crystal as sulfur immobilizer for high-performance lithium-sulfur batteries显示文摘The practical application of lithium-sulfur (Li-S) batteries is hampered by the insulative nature of sulfur, sluggish electrochemical kinetics, and large volume variation, which result in capacity-fading at a large current density and poor cycling stability. Herein, a three-dimensional (3D) aluminum photonic crystal encapsulating sulfur (APC@S) composite as a binder-free cathode for Li-S battery is reported. The 3D APC@S cathode can deliver a fantastic capacity of 1,517.8 mAh·g^(−1) at 0.5 C, and retains 712.7 mAh·g^(−1) after 1,500 cycles at 2 C with a decay rate of 0.02% per cycle. Even at a high rate of 5 C, the reversible capacity can still maintain at 680.7 mAh·g^(−1) after 1,000 cycles with a capacity retention of 74.8%. Furthermore, the assembled soft-packaged Li-S battery also exhibits high reversible capacity and stable cycling performance. The excellent electrochemical performance is attributed to the 3D hierarchical and continuously porous structure and high conductive aluminum-wall, which can effectively trap polysulfides, confine the volume expansion on cycling, and accelerate electron/ion transfer. | 20 | 癌前病变Caspase-3表达下调与胃粘膜癌变的关联(英文)显示文摘Objective: We investigated the relationship between the expression of Caspase-3, cell proliferation and apoptosis in gastric cancer and their precancerous lesions, to explore the tumorigenesis of the stomach mucosa. Methods: Caspase- 3 expression in 13 normal gastric mucosa, 6 chronic atrophic gastritis (CAG), 31 intestinal metaplasia (IM), 114 dysplasia (DYS) and 20 gastric carcinomas were investigated immunohistochemically. Cell proliferation was evaluated with anti-Ki-67 immunostaining and apoptosis was evaluated using DNA fragmentation in situ by TdT-mediated dUTP biotin nick end labeling (TUNEL) method. Results: Caspase-3 mild-moderately positive expression was observed in most of normal superficial epithelia, its positively polar distribution in normal mucosa, CAG, IM, DYS and gastric carcinomas changed as seen in TUNEL, and so did the positive rate. Caspase-3 protein expression showed significantly positive correlation with the number of apoptotic cells labeled with TUNEL (correlation coefficient r = 0.94; P < 0.01). Ki-67 expression showed a negative but not significant correlation trend with Caspase-3 (correlation coefficient r = –0.23; P > 0.05).
