| 3 | Adsorption behavior of ammonium by a bioadsorbent-Boston ivy leaf powder显示文摘The adsorption behaviors of ammonium ions from aqueous solution by a novel bioadsorbent,the Boston ivy(Parthenocissus tricuspidata) leaf powder(BPTL) were investigated.The SEM images and FT-IR spectra were used to characterize BPTL.The mathematical models were used to analyze the adsorption kinetics and isotherms.The optimum pH range for ammonium adsorption by BPTL was found to be 5-10.The adsorption reached equilibrium at 14 hr,and the kinetic data were well fitted by the Logistic model.The intraparticle diflusion was the main rate-controlling step of the adsorption process.The high temperature was favorable to the ammonium adsorption by BPTL,indicating that the adsorption was endothermic.The adsorption equilibrium fitted well to both the Langmuir model and Freundlich model,and the maximum monolayer adsorption capacities calculated from Langmuir model were 3.37,5.28 and 6.59 mg N/g at 15,25 and 35°C,respectively,which were comparable to those by reported minerals.Both the separation factor(RL) from the Langmuir model and Freundlich exponent(n) suggested that the ammonium adsorption by BPTL was favorable. | 4 | Rapamycin promotes Schwann cell migration and nerve growth factor secretion显示文摘Rapamycin, similar to FK506, can promote neural regeneration in vitro. We assumed that the mechanisms of action of rapamycin and FK506 in promoting peripheral nerve regeneration were similar. This study compared the effects of different concentrations of rapamycin and FK506 on Sc hwann cells and investigated effects and mechanisms of rapamycin on improving peripheral nerve regeneration. Results demonstrated that the lowest rapamycin concentration(1.53 nmol/L) more significantly promoted Schwann cell migration than the highest FK506 concentration(100 μmol/L). Rapamycin promoted the secretion of nerve growth factors and upregulated growth-associated protein 43 expression in Schwann cells, but did not significantly affect Schwann cell proliferation. | 7 | Stipa steppes in scantily explored regions of the tibetan Plateau:classification,community characteristics and climatic distribution patterns显示文摘Aims As a unique geographical unit of the earth,the tibetan Plateau is extensively covered by various Stipa communities.However,their vegetation features have not been reported systematically till now,especially in some scantily explored regions.In this study,we endeavor to reveal the community types,quantitative charac-teristics and climatic distribution patterns of Stipa steppes in these areas based on primary relevés obtained from fieldwork.Methods We collected a total of 223 plots in 79 study sites in the Changthang Plateau and the Yarlung Zangbo Valley,ranging from 79°E to 91°E.the categories of Stipa formations were identified according to the classification scheme in Vegetation of China and then verified by Nonmetric Multidimensional Scaling.We performed detrended correspondence analysis and detrended canonical correspondence analysis to hunt for the alteration of Stipa communities along the precipitation gradient.Quantitative characteristics including species richness,coverage,biomass as well as importance values(IV)of dominant species were calcu-lated and visualized,respectively.Important Findings Stipa steppes in scantily explored regions of the tibetan Plateau are classified into 11 formations but major formations are rather limited in number.Formation(form.)Stipa purpurea is the most widespread Stipa assemblages not only in scantily explored regions but also across the whole tibetan Plateau.the characteristics of Stipa com-munities,including coverage,species richness,productivity and IV of dominant species,demonstrate the features of typical alpine steppes on the tibetan Plateau.Precipitation proves to be the prime climatic factor controlling the distribution patterns of Stipa assemblages.Form.Stipa subsessiliflora var.basiplumosa and form.Stipa glareosa normally distribute in arid habitats,but rainfall for the former is of greater variance.Form.Stipa roborowskyi and form.Stipa capillacea favor moderately moist environment.Form.Stipa purpurea and form.Stipa roborowskyi can tolerate a fairly broad range of precipitation. | Haiwei Zhao Ke Guo Yao Yang Changcheng Liu Liqing Zhao Xianguo Qiao Dongjie Hou Chenguang Gao | 2018 | Journal of Plant Ecology2018,11,4: | 4 |

We found that the green iridescence origi- nated from a stack of about 9 periodic structure composed of chitin layers and air-spacer layers. This periodic structure gave rise to a high-reflection band in yellowish-green part of the visible spectrum under normal incidence. With increasing incident angle, all reflection peaks showed a blue shift in wavelength. | 10 | DYNAMIC CHARACTERISTICS OF LAG VIBRATION OF A WIND TURBINE BLADE显示文摘Lagwise dynamic characteristics of a wind turbine blade subjected to unsteady aerodynamic loads are studied in this paper.The partial diferential equations governing the coupled longitudinal-transverse vibration of the blade with large bending deflection are obtained by applying Hamilton’s principle.The modal problem of the coupled vibration is handled by using the method of numerical integration of Green’s function.Influences of the rotating speed,the pitch angle,the setting angle,and the aerodynamic loads on natural frequencies are discussed.Results show that:(1)Lagwise natural frequencies ascend with the increase of rotating speed;efects of the rotating speed on low-frequencies are dramatic while these efects on high-frequencies become less.(2)Influences of the pitch angle on natural frequencies are little;in the range of the normal rotating speed,the first frequency ascends with the increase of the absolute value of the pitch angle,while it is contrary to the second and third frequencies.(3)Efects of the setting angle on natural frequencies depend on the rotating speed;influences are not significant at low speed,while they are dramatic on the first frequency at high speed.(4)Efects of the aerodynamic loads on natural frequencies are very little;frequencies derived from the model considering aerodynamic loads are smaller than those from the model neglecting aerodynamic loads;relative errors of the results corresponding to two models ascend with the increase of the absolute value of the setting angle. | Yinghui Li Liang Li Qikuan Liu Haiwei Lv | 2013 | Acta Mechanica Solida Sinica2013,26,6: | 3 |

| 14 | Enhanced hydrogen evolution reaction in Sr doped BiFeO_(3) by achieving the coexistence of ferroelectricity and ferromagnetism at room temperature显示文摘The perovskite transition metal oxide(TMO) has been considered in electrocatalysis for the modern clean energy technologies as its high electrochemical activity and low cost. The atomic scale engineering to the local stoichiometry of single crystal TMO provides a clue of the relation between electronic structure and catalytic performance. Here we report a hydrogen evolution reaction(HER) activity enhancement ~ 1761% of Bi_(0.85)Sr_(0.15)FeO_3 compared to the pure BiFeO_3. By the systemic investigation of the Sr doping level of Bi_(1-x)Sr_xFeO_3(BSFO), it is found that the HER enhancement originates from the improvement of ferromagnetism of BSFO without obvious scarification of the ferroelectricity at the room temperature. The multiple ferroic orderings in BSFO are beneficial for HER activity, which offers the strengthen of hybridization of Fe 3d and O2 p orbitals from the view of ferromagnetism, and the assistance of electron drift by spontaneous electric polarization.
