1Discharge Characteristics of Long SF6 Gas Gap with and Without Insulator in GIS Under VFTO and LI显示文摘Gas insulator switchgears(GISs),widely used in electric power systems for decades,have many advantages due to their compactness,minimal environmental impact,and long maintenance cycles.However,very fast transient overvoltage(VFTO)increases caused by a rise in voltage levels can lead to GIS insulation failures.In this paper,a generating system of VFTO and standard lightning impulse(LI)is established.The insulation characteristics of SF6 gas with and without insulators under VFTO and standard LI are investigated.Experimental results show that the 50%breakdown voltages of the inhomogeneous electric field rod-plane gap under positive VFTO and standard LI are higher than that under negative VFTO and standard LI.The research shows that the 50%breakdown voltage under VFTO could be lower than that under standard LI at 0.5 MPa for the negative polarity.Moreover,the polarity effect of the insulator without defect is different from that with defect.Similarly,the breakdown voltage of the defective insulator under VFTO could be lower than that under standard LI by 8%.The flashover channel under VFTO is seen as more than that under standard LI.Based on the analysis of discharge images and experimental results,it is concluded that the polarity effect is related to the distortion effect of ion clusters formed by SF6 on the electric field.Additionally,the steepness and front time of impulse plays an important role in the initiation and further development of discharge on insulator surface.Finally,the research shows that different discharge characteristics between VFTO and standard LI may be caused by different wave fronts and oscillation on the tails of the impulses.Tao Wen Qiaogen Zhang Jingtan Ma Can Guo Haoyang You Yifan Qin Yu Yin Weidong Shi Weijiang Chen 2015CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2015,1,3:17

3Enhanced light-matter interactions in dielectric nanostructures via machine-learning approach显示文摘A key concept underlying the specific functionalities of metasurfaces is the use of constituent components to shape the wavefront of the light on demand.Metasurfaces are versatile,novel platforms for manipulating the scattering,color,phase,or intensity of light.Currently,one of the typical approaches for designing a metasurface is to optimize one or two variables among a vast number of fixed parameters,such as various materials’properties and coupling effects,as well as the geometrical parameters.Ideally,this would require multidimensional space optimization through direct numerical simulations.Recently,an alternative,popular approach allows for reducing the computational cost significantly based on a deep-learning-assisted method.We utilize a deep-learning approach for obtaining high-quality factor(high-Q)resonances with desired characteristics,such as linewidth,amplitude,and spectral position.We exploit such high-Q resonances for enhancedlight–matter interaction in nonlinearoptical metasurfaces and optomechanical vibrations,simultaneously.We demonstrate that optimized metasurfaces achieve up to 400-fold enhancement of the third-harmonic generation;at the same time,they also contribute to 100-fold enhancement of the amplitude of optomechanical vibrations.This approach can be further used to realize structures with unconventional scattering responses.Lei Xu Mohsen Rahmani Yixuan Ma Daria ASmirnova Khosro Zangeneh Kamali Fu Deng Yan Kei Chiang Lujun Huang Haoyang Zhang Stephen Gould Dragomir N.Neshev Andrey E.Miroshnichenko 2020Advanced Photonics2020,2,2:8
4Dynamically controlling terahertz wavefronts with cascaded metasurfaces显示文摘Dynamically controlling terahertz(THz)wavefronts in a designable fashion is highly desired in practice.However,available methods working at microwave frequencies do not work well in the THz regime due to lacking suitable tunable elements with submicrometer sizes.Here,instead of locally controlling individual meta-atoms in a THz metasurface,we show that rotating different layers(each exhibiting a particular phase profile)in a cascaded metadevice at different speeds can dynamically change the effective Jonesmatrix property of the whole device,thus enabling extraordinary manipulations on the wavefront and polarization characteristics of a THz beam impinging on the device.After illustrating our strategy based on model calculations,we experimentally demonstrate two proof-of-concept metadevices,each consisting of two carefully designed all-silicon transmissive metasurfaces exhibiting different phase profiles.Rotating two metasurfaces inside the fabricated devices at different speeds,we experimentally demonstrate that the first metadevice can efficiently redirect a normally incident THz beam to scan over a wide solid-angle range,while the second one can dynamically manipulate both the wavefront and polarization of a THz beam.Our results pave the way to achieving dynamic control of THz beams,which is useful in many applications,such as THz radar,and bio-and chemical sensing and imaging.Xiaodong Cai Rong Tang Haoyang Zhou Qiushi Li Shaojie Ma Dongyi Wang Tong Liu Xiaohui Ling Wei Tan Qiong He Shiyi Xiao Lei Zhou 2021Advanced Photonics2021,3,3:8
5Development of a spontaneous combustion TARPs system based on BP neural network显示文摘Spontaneous combustion of coal is a major cause of coal mine fires.It not only poses a severe hazard to the safe extraction of coal resources,but also jeopardizes the safety of mine workers.The development of a scientific management system of coal spontaneous combustion is of vital importance to the safe production of coal mine.This paper provides a comparative analysis of a range of worldwide prediction techniques and methods for coal spontaneous combustion,and systematically introduces the trigger action response plans(TARPs)system used in Australian coal mines for managing the spontaneous heating of coal.An artificial neural network model has been established on the basis of real coal mine operational conditions.Through studying and training the neural network model,prediction errors can be controlled within the allowable range.The trained model is then applied to the conditions of Nos.1 and 3 coal seams located in Weijiadi Coal Mine to demonstrate its feasibility for spontaneous combustion assessment.Based upon the TARPs system which is commonly used in Australian longwall mines,a TARPs system has been developed for Weijiadi Coal Mine to assist the management of spontaneous combustion hazard and ensure the safe operation of its mining activities.Wang Longkang Ren Tingxiang Nie Baisheng Chen Yang Lv Changqing Tang Haoyang Zhang Jufeng 2015International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2015,25,5:7
6Direct low-temperature synthesis of ultralong persistent luminescence nanobelts based on a biphasic solution-chemical reaction显示文摘Here, we report the direct hydrothermal synthesis of 1 D-based Zn_2 GeO_4:Mn^(2+) persistent luminescent nanobelts(ZGO:Mn PLNBs). The ZGO:Mn PLNBs exhibit rapid growth rate, and nanobelts can be obtained after 30 min of hydrothermal treatment. The persistent luminescence performance can be fine-turned upon prolonging the hydrothermal time. Furthermore, the doping ratio of Mn^(2+) exhibits influence on the persistent luminescence properties of ZGO:Mn PLNBs, and 2% doping of Mn^(2+) shows superior persistent luminescence with decay time of longer than 20 min. The developed 1 D-based ZGO:Mn PLNBs can be simply prepared with the hydrothermal method and show tunable morphology and persistent luminescence. 7An all-silk-derived functional nanosphere matrix for sequential biomolecule delivery and in situ osteochondral regeneration显示文摘Endogenous repair of osteochondral defect is usually limited by the insufficient number of cells in the early stage and incomplete cell differentiation in the later stage.The development of drug delivery systems for sequential release of pro-migratory and pro-chondrogenic molecules to induce endogenous bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells(BMSCs)recruitment and chondrogenic differentiation is highly desirable for in situ osteochondral regeneration.In this study,a novel,all-silk-derived sequential delivery system was fabricated by incorporating the tunable drug-loaded silk fibroin(SF)nanospheres into a SF porous matrix.The loading efficiency and release kinetics of biomolecules depended on the initial SF/polyvinyl alcohol(PVA)concentrations(0.2%,1%and 5%)of the nanospheres,as well as the hydrophobicity of the loaded molecules,resulting in controllable and programmed delivery profiles.Our findings indicated that the 5%nanosphere-incorporated matrix showed a rapid release of E7 peptide during the first 120 h,whereas the 0.2%nanosphere-incorporated matrix provided a slow and sustained release of Kartogenin(KGN)longer than 30 days.During in vitro culture of BMSCs,this functional SF matrix incorporated with E7/KGN nanospheres showed good biocompatibility,as well as enhanced BMSCs migration and chondrogenic differentiation through the release of E7 and KGN.Furthermore,when implanted into rabbit osteochondral defect,the SF nanosphere matrix with sequential E7/KGN release promoted the regeneration of both cartilage and subchondral bone.This work not only provided a novel all-silk-derived drug delivery system for sequential release of molecules,but also a functional tissueengineered scaffold for osteochondral regeneration.Wei Zhang Chen Ling Aini Zhang Haoyang Liu Yujie Jiang ,Xiaolong Li Renwang Sheng Qingqiang Yao Jialin Chen 2020Bioactive Materials2020,5,4:5
8Comparative pharmacokinetics of tetramethylpyrazine phosphate in rat plasma and extracellular fluid of brain after intranasal,intragastric and intravenous administration显示文摘The purpose of this study was to compare the pharmacokinetic profiles of tetramethylpyrazine phosphate(TMPP)in plasma and extracellular fluid of the cerebral cortex of rats via three delivery routes:intranasal(i.n.),intragastric(i.g.)and intravenous(i.v.)administration.After i.n.,i.g.and i.v.administration of a single-dose at 10 mg/kg,cerebral cortex dialysates and plasma samples drawn from the carotid artery were collected at timed intervals.The concentration of TMPP in the samples was analyzed by HPLC.The area under the concentration-time curve(AUC)and the ratio of the AUCbrain to the AUCplasma(drug targeting efficiency,DTE)was calculated to evaluate the brain targeting efficiency of the drug via these different routes of administration.After i.n.administration,TMPP was rapidly absorbed to reach its peak plasma concentration within 5 min and showed a delayed uptake into cerebral cortex(t_(max)=15 min).The ratio of the AUCbrain dialysates value between i.n.route and i.v.injection was 0.68,which was greater than that obtained after i.g.administration(0.43).The systemic bioavailability obtained with i.n.administration was greater than that obtained by the i.g.route(86.33%vs.50.39%),whereas the DTE of the nasal route was 78.89%,close to that of oral administration(85.69%).These results indicate that TMPP is rapidly absorbed from the nasal mucosa into the systemic circulation,and then crosses the blood-brain barrier(BBB)to reach the cerebral cortex.Intranasal administration of TMPP could be a promising alternative to intravenous and oral approaches.Dongmei Meng Haoyang Lu Shanshan Huang Minyan Wei Pingtian Ding Xianglin Xiao Yuehong Xu Chuanbin Wu 2014Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2014,4,1:5
9Intelligent metasurface imager and recognizer显示文摘There is an increasing need to remotely monitor people in daily life using radio-frequency probe signals.However,conventional systems can hardly be deployed in real-world settings since they typically require objects to either deliberately cooperate or carry a wireless active device or identification tag.To accomplish complicated successive tasks using a single device in real time,we propose the simultaneous use of a smart metasurface imager and recognizer,empowered by a network of artificial neural networks(ANNs)for adaptively controlling data flow.Here,three ANNs are employed in an integrated hierarchy,transforming measured microwave data into images of the whole human body,classifying specifically designated spots(hand and chest)within the whole image,and recognizing human hand signs instantly at a Wi-Fi frequency of 2.4 GHz.Instantaneous in situ full-scene imaging and adaptive recognition of hand signs and vital signs of multiple non-cooperative people were experimentally demonstrated.We also show that the proposed intelligent metasurface system works well even when it is passively excited by stray Wi-Fi signals that ubiquitously exist in our daily lives.The reported strategy could open up a new avenue for future smart cities,smart homes,human-device interaction interfaces,health monitoring,and safety screening free of visual privacy issues.Lianlin Li Ya Shuang Qian Ma Haoyang Li Hanting Zhao Menglin Wei Che Liu Chenglong Hao Cheng-Wei Qiu Tie Jun Cui 2019Light(Science & Applications)2019,8,1:5

12Microstructure and mechanical properties of CoCrNi-Mo medium entropy alloys:Experiments and first-principle calculations显示文摘The effect of Mo additions on the microstructures and mechanical properties of CoCrNi alloys was investigated,meanwhile,ab initio calculations are performed to quantitatively evaluate the lattice distortion and stacking fault energy(SFE).The yield strength,ultimate tensile strength,and elongation of(CoCrNi)_(97)Mo_(3)alloy are 475 MPa,983 MPa and 69%,respectively.The yield strength is increased by~30%and high ductility is maintained,in comparison with CoCrNi alloy.Besides the nano-twins and dislocations,the higher density of stacking faults is induced during the tensile deformation for(CoCrNi)_(97)Mo_(3)alloy.Ab initio calculation results indicate the mean square atomic displacement(MSAD)and SFE value of(CoCrNi)_(97)Mo_(3)alloy is 42.6 pm^(2)and-40.4 mJ/m^(2)at 0 K,respectively.The relationship between mechanical properties and MSAD,SFE for various multiple principal element alloys is discussed.Ruobin Chang Wei Fang Jiaohui Yan Haoyang Yu Xi Bai Jia Li Shiying Wang Shijian Zheng Fuxing Yin 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,3:5

14Combining cold sintering and Bi_(2)O_(3)-Activated liquid-phase sintering to fabricate high-conductivity Mg-doped NASICON at reduced temperatures显示文摘The cold sintering process(CSP)and Bi_(2)O_(3)-activated liquid-phase sintering(LPS)are combined to densify Mg-doped NASICON(Na_(3.256)Mg_(0.128)Zr_(1.872)Si_(2)PO_(12))to achieve high densities and conductivities at reduced temperatures.As an example,a cold-sintered specimen with the addition of 1.1wt%Bi_(2)O_(3)sintering additive achieved a high conductivity of 0.91 mS/cm(with~96%relative density)after annealing at 1000℃;this conductivity is>70%higher than that of a cold-sintered specimen without adding the Bi_(2)O_(3)sintering additive,and it is>700%of the conductivity of a dry-pressed counterpart with the same amount of Bi_(2)O_(3)added,all of which are subjected to the same heating profile.The highest conductivity achieved in this study via combining CSP and Bi_(2)O_(3)-activated LSP is>1.5 mS/cm.This study suggests an opportunity to combine the new CSP with the traditional LPS to sinter solid electrolytes to achieve high densities and conductivities at reduced temperatures.This combined CSP-LPS approach can be extended to a broad range of other materials to fabricate the“thermally fragile”solid electrolytes or solid-state battery systems,where reducing the processing temperature is often desirable.Haoyang Leng Jiuyuan Nie Jian Luo 2019Journal of Materiomics2019,5,2:4

16First experimental constraints on WIMP couplings in the effective field theory framework from CDEX显示文摘We present weakly interacting massive particles(WIMPs) search results performed using two approaches of effective field theory from the China Dark Matter Experiment(CDEX), based on the data from both CDEX-1B and CDEX-10 stages. In the nonrelativistic effective field theory approach, both time-integrated and annual modulation analyses were used to set new limits for the coupling of WIMP-nucleon effective operators at 90% confidence level(C.L.) and improve over the current bounds in the low mχregion. In the chiral effective field theory approach, data from CDEX-10 were used to set an upper limit on WIMP-pion coupling at 90% C.L. 17Reliable screening of pesticide residues in maternal and umbilical cord sera by gas chromatography-quadrupole time of flight mass spectrometry显示文摘The widespread use of pesticides induces heavy adverse effects on human health,especially for the pregnant women and the newborns.In this study,a screening method has been developed for the determination of multi-pesticides in maternal and umbilical cord sera.All pesticides in sera were collected using solid phase extraction(SPE),and analyzed by gas chromatography-quadrupole time of flight mass spectrometry(GC-QTOF MS).To set up the quality criteria,a database of 50 pesticides was created and the accurate masses of 3 up to 5 representative ions with their intensity ratios were included for each pesticide.In addition,a novel'identification points'(IPs)system relying on the accurate MS1 and MS2 spectra was used to interpret the data for each suspected pesticide.The methodology was then applied to a pair of maternal and umbilical cord sera.A total of six pesticide residues were screened out successfully.In conclusion,GC-QTOF MS combined with an accurate mass database seemed to be one of the most efficient tools for systematic pesticide analysis.FAN RuoJing ZHANG Fang WANG HaoYang ZHANG Li ZHANG Jing ZHANG Ying YU ChongTian GUO YinLong 2014Science China Chemistry2014,57,5:3
18First results on ^(76)Ge neutrinoless double beta decay from CDEX-1 experiment显示文摘We report the first results on ^(76)Ge neutrinoless double beta decay from stage one of the China dark-matter experiment(CDEX).A p-type point-contact high-purity germanium detector with a mass of 994 g has been installed to detect neutrinoless double beta decay events, as well as to directly detect dark matter particles. An exposure of 304 kg d has been analyzed over a wide spectral band from 500 keV to 3 MeV. The average event rate obtained was about 0.012 counts per keV per kg per day over the 2.039 MeV energy range. The half-life of ^(76)Ge neutrinoless double beta decay derived based on this result is T^(0ν)1/2>6.4×10^(22) yr(90% C.L.). 19Preventive and therapeutic effectiveness of Sanfu acupoint herbal patching for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease at stable stages:a systematic review and Meta-analysis显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the preventive and therapeutic effects of Sanfu acupoint herbal patching(SAHP)in adjuvant treatment in patients with stable chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD).METHODS:We had searched eight electronic databases and six major trial registries from their inception to July 2017 for randomized controlled trials(RCTs).We utilized RevMan 5.3 to evaluate the methodological quality and to perform data analyses.RESULTS:A total of 28 RCTs involving 1615 records were included in the descriptive analysis,and 25 RCTs were performed for Meta-analysis.Lung function such as forced vital capacity rate of one second FEV1/predicted%,forced vital capacity(FVC)%found no significant difference.The results of Meta-analysis showed that SAHP plus conventional therapy(CT)in the treatment of stable COPD were better than CT,in second sessions'data of FEV1,in third sessions'data of FEV1/FVC,in three sessions'data of SGRQ,in third session's data of Modified Medical Research Council and 6MWT.The symptoms of SAHP's adverse reactions seem to be mild and the incidence of that seems to be low.Descriptive analysis shows that SAHP with CT seems to improve clinical effective rate and had a certain preventive effect on acute exacerbation of COPD,which the curative effect may be better with the increase of treatment course.CONCLUSION:SAHP with CT appears to be more effective than CT or CT plus placebo only on improving the quality of life,but the effect on lung function is not obvious.Improve clinical effective rate and preventive effect is uncertainty.SAHP with CT may be used in any Grade to safely treat patients with stable COPD.The more exactly clinical effect still needs to be proved by more high-quality,large sampling,multilingual RCTs.Pang Lijian Zhang Haoyang Lu Xiaodong Liu Jianping Liu Chuang Lu Ling 2020Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2020,40,4:3
20Thermoelectric properties of In-Hg co-doping in SnTe:Energy band engineering显示文摘Synergistic effect of band convergence and resonant level could be manipulated in SnTe by co-doping In and Hg,leading to a potential thermoelectric performance enhancement in a much wider temperature range.In this work we carefully investigated thermoelectric properties of the In-Hg co-doped SnTe,synthesized by a hot pressing method.With this co-doping the Seebeck coefficients of the co-doped samples were greatly improved(over 50 mVK^(-1))at the room temperature.Although power factors of the In-Hg co-doped SnTe were also able to be optimized,the peak ZT(0.9 at 850 K in Sn_(0.98)Bi_(0.02)Te-1%HgInTe_(2)),however,is not high enough when comparing to other co-doped SnTe systems.This may be caused by the relatively high lattice thermal conductivity.An apparent competition between band convergence doping and resonant level doping was observed in our experiment.The results suggest that band engineering via co-doping should be further understood in order to optimize the thermoelectric properties inside the material system.Xiaofang Tan Guoqiang Liu Jingtao Xu Xiaojian Tan Hezhu Shao Haoyang Hu Haochuan Jiang Yalin Lu Jun Jiang 2018Journal of Materiomics2018,4,1:3
