1Modulating the photoelectrons of g-C3N4 via coupling MgTi2O5 as appropriate platform for visible-light-driven photocatalytic solar energy conversion显示文摘Graphitic carbon nitride (g-C3N4) has become an attractive visible-light-responsive photocatalyst because of its semiconductor polymer compositions and easy-modulated band structure. However, the bulk g-C3N4 photocatalyst has the low separation efficiency of photogenerated carriers and unsatisfied surface catalytic performance, which leads to poor photocatalytic performance. As for this, MgTi2O5 with high chemical stability, wide band gap and negative conduction band was used as a suitable platform for coupling with g-C3N4 to enhance charge separation and promoted the photoactivity. Different from common approaches, here, we propose an innovative method to construct g-C3N4/MgTi2O5 nanocomposites featuring “0 + 1 >1' magnification effect to improve g-C3N4 photocatalytic performance under visible light irradiation. Additionally, compositing metal oxides of MgTi2O5 with g-C3N4 has proven to be a proper strategy to accelerate surface catalytic reactions in g-C3N4, and the photoinduced carriers were modulated to maintain thermodynamic equilibrium, which convincingly promotes the photocatalytic activity. The photocatalytic performance of the nanocomposites was measured by hydrogen production and CO2 reduction under visible light. The developed g-C3N4/MgTi2O5 nanocomposites with a 5 wt.% MgTi2O5 exhibits the highest H2 and CO yield under visible light and excellent stability compare to the other MgTi2O5 contents in composites. According to surface photo-voltage spectra, electrochemical CO2 reduction, photoluminescence, etc. The superior performance can be related to an enhanced electron lifetime, the promoted charge transfer and the increased electronic separation property of g-C3N4. 3Porous nanocomposite derived from Zn, Ni-bimetallic metal-organic framework as an anode material for lithium-ion batteries显示文摘A highly stable Zn, Ni-bimetallic porous nanocomposite was synthesized via a one-step pyrolysis of a metal-organic framework as an efficient anode material for Lithium-ion batteries. 8A survey on visual analysis of ocean data显示文摘A major challenge in analysis of huge amounts of ocean data is the complexity of the data and the inherent complexity of ocean dynamic processes.Interactive visual analysis serves as an efficient complementary approach for the detection of various phenomena or patterns,and correlation exploring or comparing multiple variables in researchers daily work.Firstly,this paper presents a basic concept of the ocean data produced from numerous measurement devices or computer simulations.The characteristics of ocean data and the related data processing techniques are also described.Secondly,the main tasks of ocean data analysis are introduced.Based on the main analysis tasks in the field of oceanography,the survey emphasizes related interactive visualization techniques and tools from four aspects:visualization of multiple ocean environmental elements and multivariate analysis,ocean phenomena identification and tracking,patterns or correlation discovery,ensembles and uncertainties exploration.Finally,the opportunities are discussed for future studies.Cui Xie Mingkui Li Haoying Wang Junyu Dong 2019Visual Informatics2019,3,3:1
9Surface air temperature changes over the Tibetan Plateau:Historical evaluation and future projection based on CMIP6 models显示文摘With its amplification simultaneously emerging in cryospheric regions,especially in the Tibetan Plateau,global warming is undoubtedly occurring.In this study,we utilized 28 global climate models to assess model performance regarding surface air temperature over the Tibetan Plateau from 1961 to 2014,reported spatiotemporal variability in surface air temperature in the future under four scenarios(SSP1-2.6,SSP2-4.5,SSP3-7.0,and SSP5-8.5),and further quantified the timing of warming levels(1.5,2,and 3℃)in the region.The results show that the multimodel ensemble means depicted the spatiotemporal patterns of surface air temperature for the past decades well,although with differences across individual models.The projected surface air temperature,by 2099,would warm by 1.9,3.2,5.2,and 6.3℃relative to the reference period(1981–2010),with increasing rates of 0.11,0.31,0.53,and 0.70℃/decade under the SSP1-2.6,SSP2-4.5,SSP3-7.0,and SSP5-8.5 scenarios for the period 2015–2099,respectively.Compared with the preindustrial periods(1850–1900),the mean annual surface air temperature over the Tibetan Plateau has hit the 1.5℃threshold and will break 2℃in the next decade,but there is still a chance to limit the temperature below 3℃in this century.Our study provides a new understanding of climate warming in high mountain areas and implies the urgent need to achieve carbon neutrality.Rui Chen Haoying Li Xuejia Wang Xiaohua Gou Meixue Yang Guoning Wan 2022Geoscience Frontiers2022,13,6:0

13Hypoxia-activatable nano-prodrug for fluorescently tracking drug release in mice显示文摘Chemotherapy is one of the commonly used methods to treat various types of cancers in clinic by virtue of its high efficiency and universality. However, strong side effects and low concentration of conventional drugs at the tumor site have always been important factors that plague the chemotherapy effects of patients, further precluding their practical applications. Thereof, to solve the above dilemma, by integration of anticancer drug(nitrogen mustard, NM) into an NIR fluorophore(a dicyanoisophorone derivative), an intelligent prodrug NIR-NM was developed via molecular engineering strategy. Prodrug NIR-NM stimulated in hypoxia condition exhibits significantly higher toxicity to cancer cells than normal cells, essentially reducing the collateral damage to healthy cells and tissues of nitrogen mustard. 15A Cascade Targeted and Activatable NIR-ⅡNanoprobe for Highly Sensitive Detection of Acute Myeloid Leukemia in an Orthotopic Model显示文摘Acute myeloid leukemia(AML)remains a significant concern in modern medicine.Early diagnosis is the key to improving the therapeutic effects of AML.In the present work,a cascade-targeted and activatable NIR-Ⅱ nanoprobe(Ald&A1094@Ag_(2)S)was developed for early detection of AML in an orthotopic model.Upon intravenous injection,Ald&A1094@Ag_(2)S effectively accumulated in bone tissue due to its high affinity for alendronate(Ald)to the bone.Thereafter,the AML microenvironment allowed for the membrane-penetrating peptide TAT(cell‐penetrating peptide(CGRRRQRRKKRG))to be exposed via pH-sensitive hydrazone bond-mediated detaching of bone-targeted ligands,resulting in efficient internalization of nanoprobes in HL60 cells.Endogenous peroxynitrite(ONOO–)in HL60 cells further activated NIR-Ⅱ fluorescence of Ag_(2)S QDs via A1094 oxidation,thereby inhibiting fluorescence resonance energy transfer(FRET).Such a unique cascade-targeted and activatable strategy enables the nanoprobes to only light up the AML lesion region in the bone marrow with negligible background effects,which holds great potential for clinical applications in the future.Xiaohu Yang Xinyi An Sisi Ling Haoying Huang Yejun Zhang Guangcun Chen Chunyan Li &Qiangbin Wang 2021CCS Chemistry2021,3,3:0
16NITROGEN USE AND MANAGEMENT IN ORCHARDS AND VEGETABLE FIELDS IN CHINA: CHALLENGES AND SOLUTIONS显示文摘China is the largest producer and consumer of fruits and vegetables in the world.Although the annual planting areas of orchards and vegetable fields(OVF)account for 20%of total croplands,they consume more than 30%of the mineral nitrogen fertilizers in China and have become hotspots of reactive N emissions.Excess N fertilization has not only reduced the N use efficiency(NUE)and quality of grown fruits and vegetables but has also led to soil acidification,biodiversity loss and climate change.Studies using 15N labeling analysis showed that the recovery rate of N fertilizer in OVFs was only 16.6%,and a high proportion of fertilizer N resided in soils(48.3%)or was lost to the environment(35.1%).Nitrate accumulation in the soil of OVFs is the main fate of N fertilizer in northern China,which threatens groundwater quality,while leaching and denitrification are the important N fates of N fertilizer in southern China.Therefore,taking different measures to reduce N loss and increase NUE based on the main pathways of N loss in the various regions is urgent,including rational N fertilization,substituting mineral N fertilizers with organic fertilizers,fertigation,and adding mineral N fertilizers with urease inhibitors and nitrification inhibitors.Xueqiang ZHU Peng ZHOU Peng MIAO Haoying WANG Xinlu BAI Zhujun CHEN Jianbin ZHOU 2022Frontiers of Agricultural Science and Engineering2022,9,3:0
17A CBL4-CIPK6 module confers salt tolerance in cucumber显示文摘Soil salinization is a major threat to cucumbers grown under protected cultivation.Under stressful environments,calcineurin B-like proteins(CBLs)can sense and bind Ca2+signals and regulate CBL-interacting protein kinases(CIPKs)to transmit signals and induce cellular responses.Although CBL-CIPK modules play central roles in plant development and response to various abiotic stresses in Arabidopsis,little is known about their functions in cucumber.In this study,we demonstrate that CsCBL4 interacts with CsCIPK6,which exhibited similar responses to salt stress in cucumber.Furthermore,salt stress resulted in greater accumulation of CsCBL4 and CsCIPK6.Comprehensive phenotype analysis demonstrated that silencing CsCBL4 or CsCIPK6 reduced the salt tolerance of cucumber,and overexpression of CsCBL4 increased the salt tolerance of Arabidopsis.Collectively,these results indicate that the CsCBL4-CsCIPK6 module plays an important role in the resistance of cucumber to salt stress.The information provides insights for the genetic breeding of salt tolerance in cucumber in the future.Mingfei Wang Songlin Yang Lei Sun Zhongxuan Feng Yiming Gao Xuling Zhai Yuming Dong Haoying Wu Yuanyuan Cui Sen Li Shuo Xu Ezra S.Bartholomew Huazhong Ren Xingwang Liu 2022Vegetable Research2022,2,1:0
18Research on the detection of early caries based on hyperspectral imaging显示文摘Objective:We applied hyperspectral imaging(HSI)system to distinguish early caries from soundand pigmented areas.It will provide a theoretical basis and technical support,for research anddevelopment of an instrument that could be used for screening and detection of early dentalcaries.Methods:Eighteen extracted human teeth(molars and premolars),with varying degrees ofnatural pathology and no degree of decay involving dentin were obtained.HSI system with awavelength range from 400 to 1000nm was used to obtain images of all 18 teeth containingsound,carious and pigmented areas.We compared the spectra of the wavebands at both 500 nmand 780 nm from the different tooth states,and the reflectance diference bet ween sound versuscarious lesions and sound versus pigmented areas,respectively.Results:There was a slight diference in refectance bet ween carious areas and pigmented areas at500 nm.A substantial difference was additionally noted in refectance bet ween carious areas andpigmented areas at 780 nm.Conclusion:The results have shown that the interference of tooth surface pigment can be elim-inated in the near-infrared(NIR)waveband,and the caries can be effectively identifed from the pigmented areas.Thus,it could be used to detect carious areas of teeth in place of the traditionalvisual inspection method or white light endoscopy.Clinical significance:The NIR difused light signal enables the identification of early caries frompigment and other interference,providing a reasonable detection tool for early detection andearly treatment of teeth diseases.Cheng Wang Haoying Zhang Guangyun Lai Songzhu Hu Jun Wang Dawei Zhang 2023Journal of Innovative Optical Health Sciences2023,16,3:0
19Evaluation and prediction of the status of COVID-19 epidemic prevention and control based on the SEIR+CAQ model显示文摘This paper analyzes the spread of the COVID-19 epidemic in China,establishes a SEIR^(+CAQ)epidemiologic model that classifies the diagnosed population into asymptomatic,mild,and severe,and considers the condition of an isolated population.First of all,we theoretically analyzed the key problems of the disease-free equilibrium,stability,and basic reproduction number of the model.Then,combined with the actual data,the development trend of the epidemic situation is simulated and compared,and the influence of some important parameters is discussed in the model evaluation part.Finally,based on the theoretical analysis and numerical simulation results,we forecast the future development of the COVID-19 epidemic and put forward some reasonable scientific suggestions for the government to formulate a future epidemic prevention policy.Xingzhi Chen Baodan Tian Feixiang Huang Daiwen Wang Linyan Fu Haoying Xu 2021International Journal of Modeling, Simulation, and Scientific Computing2021,12,3:0
