3Light-triggered interfacial charge transfer and enhanced photodetection in CdSe/ZnS quantum dots/MoS_(2)mixed-dimensional phototransistors显示文摘Mix-dimensional van der Waals heterostructures(vdWHs)have inspired worldwide interests and efforts in the field of ad-vanced electronics and optoelectronics.The fundamental understanding of interfacial charge transfer is of vital import-ance for guiding the design of functional optoelectronic applications.In this work,type-Ⅱ0D-2D CdSe/ZnS quantum dots/MoS_(2)vdWHs are designed to study the light-triggered interfacial charge behaviors and enhanced optoelectronic performances.From spectral measurements in both steady and transient states,the phenomena of suppressed photolu-minescence(PL)emissions,shifted Raman signals and changed PL lifetimes provide strong evidences of efficient charge transfer at the 0D-2D interface.A series of spectral evolutions of heterostructures with various QDs overlapping concentrations at different laser powers are analyzed in details,which clarifies the dynamic competition between exciton and trion during an efficient doping of 3.9×10^(13)cm^(−2).The enhanced photoresponses(1.57×10^(4)A·W^(-1))and detectivities(2.86×10^(11)Jones)in 0D/2D phototransistors further demonstrate that the light-induced charge transfer is still a feasible way to optimize the performance of optoelectronic devices.These results are expected to inspire the basic understand-ing of interfacial physics at 0D/2D interfaces,and shed the light on promoting the development of mixed-dimensional op-toelectronic devices in the near future.Ziwei Li Wen Yang Ming Huang Xin Yang Chenguang Zhu Chenglin He Lihui Li Yajuan Wang Yunfei Xie Zhuoran Luo Delang Liang Jianhua Huang Xiaoli Zhu Xiujuan Zhuang Dong Li Anlian Pan 2021Opto-Electronic Advances2021,4,9:4
4Formamidinium Lead Bromide (FAPbBr_3) Perovskite Microcrystals for Sensitive and Fast Photodetectors显示文摘Because of the good thermal stability and superior carrier transport characteristics of formamidinium lead trihalide perovskite HC(NH_2)_2 PbX_3(FAPbX_3), it has been considered to be a better optoelectronic material than conventional CH_3NH_3-PbX_3(MAPbX_3). Herein, we fabricated a FAPbBr_3 microcrystal-based photodetector that exhibited a good responsivity of 4000 A W-1 and external quantum efficiency up to 106% under one-photon excitation, corresponding to the detectivity greater than 1014 Jones. The responsivity is two orders of magnitude higher than that of previously reported formamidinium perovskite photodetectors. Furthermore, the FAPbBr_3 photodetector's responsivity to two-photon absorption with an 800-nm excitation source can reach 0.07 A W^(-1), which is four orders of magnitude higher than that of its MAPbBr_3 counterparts. 5Early changes to the extracellular space in the hippocampus under simulated microgravity conditions显示文摘The smooth transportation of substances through the brain extracellular space(ECS)is crucial to maintaining brain function;however,the way this occurs under simulated microgravity remains unclear.In this study,tracer-based magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)and DECS-mapping techniques were used to image the drainage of brain interstitial fluid(ISF)from the ECS of the hippocampus in a tail-suspended hindlimb-unloading rat model at day 3(HU-3)and 7(HU-7).The results indicated that drainage of the ISF was accelerated in the HU-3 group but slowed markedly in the HU-7 group.The tortuosity of the ECS decreased in the HU-3 group but increased in the HU-7 group,while the volume fraction of the ECS increased in both groups.The diffusion rate within the ECS increased in the HU-3 group and decreased in the HU-7 group.The alterations to ISF drainage and diffusion in the ECS were recoverable in the HU-3 group,but neither parameter was restored in the HU-7 group.Our findings suggest that early changes to the hippocampal ECS and ISF drainage under simulated microgravity can be detected by tracer-based MRI,providing a new perspective for studying microgravity-induced nano-scale structure abnormities and developing neuroprotective approaches involving the brain ECS.Yajuan Gao Hongbin Han Jichen Du Qingyuan He Yanxing Jia Junhao Yan Hui Dai Bin Cui Jing Yang Xunbin Wei Liu Yang Rui Wang Ren Long Qiushi Ren Xing Yang Jiabin Lu 2022Science China(Life Sciences)2022,65,3:2

7Half Smooth Tongue Sole(Cynoglossus semilaevis) Under Low Salinity Stress Can Change Hepatic igf2 Expression Through DNA Methylation显示文摘Salinity is a crucial environmental stress that severely affects fish growth and survival.Under environmental stress,DNA methylation plays an important role in gene expression and genome function.To better understand the epigenetic regulation mechanism of igf2 under low salinity stress,we analyzed the DNA methylation at 5’UTR,exon1,intron1,and exon2,and analyzed the relationship of DNA methylation with mRNA abundance as well as the special single CpG sites methylation patterns of igf2 in the liver of half smooth tongue sole under low salinity(15)for 0,7,and 60 d.When exposed to low salinity,DNA methylation at 5’UTR and exon2 remained stable,while it was up-regulated firstly and then down-regulated at exon1 and intron1.Some single CpG sites of igf2 associated with low salinity,and most of these sites with significantly changed methylation levels(P<0.05)are located in intron1 area.The discrepant variation of single CpG sites methylation levels and igf2 expression further revealed that females and males showed different response to low salinity.Remarkably,the 38-CpG site of intron1 servers as a sexual marker.Additionally,our integrative analysis demonstrated that regional DNA of igf2 methylation had highly complex interplay on gene expression.The single CpG sites in intron1 were indispensable epigenetic markers under external environmental stress.Above all,to resist the low salinity stress,half smooth tongue sole liver can regulate the expression of igf2 through methylation of CpG sites in intron1.LI Siping HE Feng WEN Haishen SI Yufeng LIU Mingyuan HUANG Yajuan WU Shuxian 2020Journal of Ocean University of China2020,19,1:1

11Effect of TrκB-PLC/IP3 pathway on intestinal inflammatory factors and enterocyte apoptosis in mice with colitis显示文摘In this study,we aimed to explore the effect of TrκB-PLC/IP3 pathway on intestinal inflammatory factors and enterocyte apoptosis in mice with colitis.The mouse model of ulcerative colitis was established by medication,and 40 SPF C57BL/6J mice(8 weeks old)were randomly divided into normal group(healthy mice,n=10),control group(sham-operated mice,n=10),model group(model mice without any treatment,n=10),and K252a group(model mice treated with 100 pmol/kg TrκB-PLC/IP3 pathway inhibitor for 5 days before clysis,n=10).The results showed that mice in the model and K252a groups,as compared with normal and control groups,had no significant ch a nges in the levels and protein expressi ons of serum tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)and TNF-γin the colo n tissues(P>0.05),and had a significant in crease in disease activity index,colon mucosa damage index,tissue damage index scores,and levels and protein expressions of serum interleukin-4(IL-4)and IL8,but had a significant decrease in the level and protein expression of serum lb10(P<0.05).Mice in the model and K252a groups showed blocked enterocyte cycle progression,elevated apoptosis ratio,and significantly in creased mRNA and protein expressi ons of Caspase3,Bax,FasL,and Fas,but significantly reduced mRNA and protein expressions of p-TrκB,PLC-γ1,IP3,and Bcl-2(P<0.05).Moreover,intestinal inflammation and apoptosis induced by colitis in the K252a group became more aggravated by inhibiting the activity of TrκB-PLC/IP3 pathway.In conclusi on,inhibiti on of TrκB-PLC/IP3 pathway can in crease the expressi on of in testinal inflammatory factors and promote enterocyte apoptosis in mice with colitis.Guangmeng Xu Yajuan Sun Huaiqiang He Qiuli Xue Yajie Liu Lihua Dong 2020Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2020,52,6:0

14Methylation Status of the Follistatin Gene at Different Development Stages of Japanese Flounder(Paralichthys olivaceus)显示文摘Follistatin(Fst) is a hyperplasia factor that plays a crucial role in muscle development.DNA methylation,a significant process,regulates gene expression.The aim of our study is to examine the DNA methylation and expression patterns of Fst gene at five different development stages of Japanese flounder(stage A,7 dph;stage B,90 dph;stage C,about 180 dph;stage D,about 24 months;stage E,about 36 months).The muscle tissue of Japanese flounder was obtained at different development stages in this experiment.DNA methylation levels in the promoter and exon 2 of Fst were determined by bisulfite sequencing,and the relative expression of the Fst gene at the five stages was measured by quantitative PCR.The results showed that the lowest methylation level was at stage A and the highest methylation level was at stage B.Moreover,the highest expression level of the Fst gene was observed at stage A.The m RNA abundance was negatively correlated with DNA methylation level.Three Cp G islands in the promoter region and three Cp G islands in exon 2 of Fst were found in the binding sequence of the putative transcription factor.These results offered a theoretical basis for the mechanism of Fst gene regulation to muscle development at different development stages.HUANG Yajuan HU Nan SI Yufeng LI Siping WU Shuxian ZHANG Meizhao WEN Haishen LI Jifang LI Yun HE Feng 2018Journal of Ocean University of China2018,17,5:0
15Multi-Object Detection of Chinese License Plate in Complex Scenes显示文摘Multi-license plate detection in complex scenes is still a challenging task because of multiple vehicle license plates with different sizes and classes in the images having complex background.The edge features of high-density distribution and the high curvature features of stroke turning of Chinese character are important signs to distinguish Chinese license plate from other objects.To accurately detect multiple vehicle license plates with different sizes and classes in complex scenes,a multi-object detection of Chinese license plate method based on improved YOLOv3 network was proposed in this research.The improvements include replacing the residual block of the YOLOv3 backbone network with the Inception-ResNet-A block,imbedding the SPP block into the detection network,cutting the redundant Inception-ResNet-A block to suit for the multi-license plate detection task,and clustering the ground truth boxes of license plates to obtain a new set of anchor boxes.A Chinese vehicle license plate image dataset was built for training and testing the improved network,and the location and class of the license plates in each image were accurately labeled.The dataset has 62,153 pieces of images and 4 classes of China vehicle license plates,almost images have multiple license plates with different sizes.Experiments demonstrated that the multilicense plate detection method obtained 83.4%mAP,98.88%precision,98.17%recall,98.52 F1 score,89.196 BFLOPS and 22 FPS on the test dataset,and whole performance was better than the other five compared networks including YOLOv3,SSD,Faster-RCNN,EfficientDet and RetinaNet.Dan Liu Yajuan Wu Yuxin He Lu Qin Bochuan Zheng 2021Computer Systems Science & Engineering2021,36,1:0
16Temperature-control-induced masculinization in tiger puffer Takifugu rubripes显示文摘This study used tiger puffer Takifugu rubripes to explore new,simple methods for lowtemperature-induced masculinization in a cultured fish without the use of ultraviolet irradiation or sex hormones.An orthogonal test L9(3^4)design was used to consider three factors at three levels:treatment starting times(days post-hatch,dph:factor A)of 20,50 and 80 dph;treatment temperatures(factor B)of 13℃,15℃and 17℃;and treatment durations(factor C)of 30,45 and 60 days.A control group was reared at 21±1℃.The experiments were repeated twice.At 230 dph,the gonads were removed from thirty randomly sampled fish in each group.Histological observations and analysis of single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNP)were used to identified pseudo males,which biological sex was male and genetic sex were female(XX).Treatment group 4(A2B1C2)resulted in the highest proportion of males(75%).According to the intuitive analysis of the orthogonal-array experiments,the optimal combination of lowtemperature-induced masculinization of T.rubripes was A2B1C2.The population sex ratio depended on the three factors in the sequence B→A→C.A comparison of the daily increases in length and weight during and after the low-temperature conditions showed that the absolute daily increases in weight and length were significantly less during treatment than after treatment.Daily increases in weight and length did not significantly differ between the treatment groups and the controls(P>0.05),demonstrating that the growth rate could return to normal after the low-temperature conditions.This study establishes a low-temperatureinduced masculinization technology for T.rubripes and demonstrates that although the growth rate(length and weight)decreased in an array of nine treatment groups during the processing time,it returned to a normal level after processing.The results should serve as a guide for achieving the masculinization of T.rubripes in production.ZHOU He ZHUANG Zixin ZHANG Rui XU Qizheng LIANG Yuting JIANG Zhiqiang LI Xia MA Tianyu LI Yajuan 2019Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2019,37,3:0

18Features of hyperintense white matter lesions and clinical relevance in systemic lupus erythematosus显示文摘Background: Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is a multisystem autoimmune disease characterized by complex and various clinical manifestations. The study aimed to analyze clinical features and cerebral magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) changes of hyperintense white matter (WM) lesions in SLE patients.Methods: This was a retrospective study based on a consecutive cohort of 1191 SLE patients;273 patients for whom cerebral MRI data were available were enrolled to assess hyperintense WM lesions associated with SLE. Patients were assigned to two groups, ie, with or without hyperintense WM lesions. The MRI assessment showed that the hyperintense WM lesions could be classified into three categories: type A, periventricular hyperintense WM lesions;type B, subcortical hyperintense WM lesions;and type C, multiple discrete hyperintense WM lesions. The clinical and MRI characteristics were analyzed. Factors related to hyperintense WM lesions were identified by multivariate logistic regression analysis.Results: Among the 273 SLE patients with available cerebral MRI scans, 35.9% (98/273) had hyperintense WM lesions associated with SLE. The proportions of types A, B, and C were 54.1% (53/98), 11.2% (11/98), and 92.9% (91/98), respectively. Fifty-one percents of the patients showed an overlap of two or three types. Type C was the most common subgroup to be combined with other types. Compared with those without hyperintense WM lesions, the patients with hyperintense WM lesions were associated with neuropsychiatric SLE (NPSLE), lupus nephritis (LN), hypertension, and hyperuricemia (P = 0.002,P = 0.018,P = 0.045, andP = 0.036, respectively). Significantly higher rates of polyserous effusions and cardiac involvement were found in the patients with hyperintense WM lesions (P = 0.029 andP = 0.027, respectively), and these patients were more likely to present with disease damage (P < 0.001). In addition, the patients with hyperintense WM lesions exhibited a higher frequency of proteinuria (P = 0.009) and higher levels of CD8+ T cells (P = 0.005). In the multivariate logistic analysis, hyperuricemia and higher CD8+ T cells percentages were significantly correlated with hyperintense WM lesions in SLE patients (P= 0.019;OR 2.129, 95% confidence interval [CI] 1.313-4.006 andP < 0.001;OR 1.056, 95% CI 1.023-1.098, respectively).Conclusions: Hyperintense WM lesions are common in SLE patients and significantly associated with systemic involvement, including NPSLE, LN, polyserous effusions, cardiac involvement, and disease damage. 19A PD-L1-targeting chimeric switch receptor enhances efficacy of CAR-T cell for pleural and peritoneal metastasis显示文摘Pleural and peritoneal metastasis accompanied by malignant pleural effusion(MPE)or malignant ascites(MA)is frequent in patients with advanced solid tumors that originate from the lung,breast,gastrointestinal tract and ovary.Regional delivery of CAR-T cells represents a new strategy to control tumor dissemination in serous cavities.However,malignant effusions constitute an immune-suppressive environment that potentially induces CAR-T cell dysfunction.Here,we demonstrated that the anti-tumor cytotoxicity of conventional 2nd-generation CAR-T cells was significantly inhibited by both the cellular and non-cellular components of MPE/MA,which was primarily attributed to impaired CAR-T cell proliferation and cytokine production in MPE/MA environment.Interestingly,we found that PD-L1 was widely expressed on freshly-isolated MPE/MA cells.Based on this feature,a novel PD-L1-targeting chimeric switch receptor(PD-L1.BB CSR)was designed,which can bind to PD-L1,switching the inhibitory signal into an additional 4-1BB signal.When co-expressed with a 2nd-generation CAR,PD-L1.BB CSR-modified CAR-T cells displayed superior fitness and enhanced functions in both culture medium and MPE/MA environment,causing rapid and durable eradication of pleural and peritoneal metastatic tumors in xenograft models.Further investigations revealed elevated expressions of T-cell activation,proliferation,and cytotoxicity-related genes,and we confirmed that PD-L1 scFv and 4-1BB intracellular domain,the two important components of PD-L1.BB CSR,were both necessary for the functional improvements of CAR-T cells.Overall,our study shed light on the clinical application of PD-L1.BB CSR-modified dual-targeting CAR-T cells.Based on this study,a phase I clinical trial was initiated in patients with pleural or peritoneal metastasis(NCT04684459).Qizhi Ma Xia He Benxia Zhang Fuchun Guo Xuejin Ou Qiyu Yang Pei Shu Yue Chen Kai Li Ge Gao Yajuan Zhu Diyuan Qin Jie Tang Xiaoyu Li Meng Jing Jian Zhao Zeming Mo Ning Liu Yao Zeng Kexun Zhou Mingyang Feng Weiting Liao Wanting Lei Qiu Li Dan Li Yongsheng Wang 2022Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2022,7,12:0
