1Geochemical and Pb-Sr-Nd isotopic compositions of Indosinian granitoids from the Bikou block,northwest of the Yangtze plate:Constraints on petrogenesis,nature of deep crust and geodynamics显示文摘This paper reports geochemical and Pb-Sr-Nd isotopic compositions of the Indosinian Yangba (215 Ma),Nanyili (225 Ma) and Mopi granitoids from the Bikou block of the northwestern margin of the Yangtze plate. These granitoids are enriched in Al (Al2O3:14.56%―16.48%) and Sr (352 μg/g―1047 μg/g),and depleted in Y (<16 μg/g) and HREE (e.g. Yb<1.61 μg/g),resulting in high Sr/Y (36.3―150) and (La/Yb)N (7.8―36.3) ratios and strongly fractionationed REE patterns. The Indosinian granotoids show initial Sr isotopic ratios (ISr) from 0.70419 to 70752,εNd(t) values from-3.1 to -8.5,and initial Pb isotopic ratios 206Pb/204Pb=17.891-18.250,207Pb/204Pb=15.494-15.575,and 208Pb/204Pb=37.788-38.335. Their geochemi-cal signatures indicate that the granitoids are adakitic. However,they are distinct from some adakites,generated by partial melting of subducted oceanic slab and/or underplated basaltic lower crust,be-cause they have high K (K2O: 1.49%―3.84%) and evolved Nd isotopic compositions,with older Nd iso-topic model ages (TDM=1.06―1.83 Ga). Geochemical and Sr-Nd isotopic compositions suggest that the magmas of the Insoninian adakitic rocks in the Bikou block were derived from partial melting of thick-ened basaltic lower crust. Combined with regional analyses,a lithospheric delamination model after collision between the North China and South China plates can account for the Indosinian adakitic magma generation. On the other hand,based on the Pb-Sr-Nd isotopic probing to the magma sources of the adakitic rocks,it is suggested that there is an unexposed continent-type basement under the exposed Bikou Group volcanic rocks. 2Contemporary crustal tectonic movement in the southern Sichuan-Yunnan block based on dense GPS observation data显示文摘We analyzed 360 permanent and campaign GPS data from 1999 to 2017 in the southern Sichuan-Yunan block, and obtained crustal horizontal deformation in this region.Then, we derived the strain rate using a multi-scale spherical wavelet method.Results reveal a complex pattern of tectonic movement in the southern Sichuan-Yunnan block.Compared to the stable Eurasian plate, the maximum rate of the horizontal deformation in the southern Sichuan-Yunnan block is approximately 22 mm/a.The Xiaojiang fault shows a significantly lower deformation—a left-lateral strike-slip movement of 9.5 mm/a.The Honghe fault clearly shows a complex segmental deformation from the north to south.The northern Honghe fault shows 4.3 mm/a right strike-slip with 6.7 mm/a extension; the southern Honghe fault shows 1.9 mm/a right strike-slip with 1.9 mm/a extension; the junction zone in the Honghe and Lijiang–Xiaojinhe faults shows an obvious clockwise-rotation deformation.The strain calculation results reveal that the maximum shear-strain rate in this region reaches 70 nstrain/a, concentrated around the Xiaojiang fault and at the junction of the Honghe and Lijiang–Xiaojinhe faults.We note that most of the earthquakes with magnitudes of 4 and above that occurred in this region were within the high shear strain-rate zones and the strain rate gradient boundary zone, which indicates that the magnitude of strain accumulation is closely related to the seismic activities.Comparison of the fast shear-wave polarization direction of the upper-crust with the upper-mantle anisotropy and the direction of the surface principal compressive strain rate obtained from the inversion of the GPS data reveals that the direction of the surface principal compressive strain is basically consistent with the fast shear-wave polarization direction of the upper crust anisotropy, but different from the polarization direction of the upper mantle.Our results support the hypothesis that the principal elements of the deformation mechanism in the southern Sichuan-Yunnan block are decoupling between the upper and lower crust and ductile flow in the lower crust.HongLin Jin Yuan Gao XiaoNing Su GuangYu Fu 2019Earth and Planetary Physics2019,3,1:18

5Platelet-mediated adhesion facilitates leukocyte sequestration in hypoxia-reoxygenated microvessels显示文摘Leukocyte transendothelial migration and sequestration are two distinct outcomes following leukocyte adhesion to endothelium during ischemia-reperfusion injury, in which platelets may play a pivotal role. In the present study, we established an in vitro hypoxia-reoxygenation model to mimic ischemia-reperfusion injury and found platelet pre-incubation significantly increased leukocyte adhesion to endothelial cells after hyoxia-reoxygenation(over 67%). Blockade of endothelial-cell-expressed adhesion molecules inhibited leukocyte direct adhesion to endothelial cells, while platelet-mediated leukocyte adhesion was suppressed by blockade of platelet-expressed adhesion molecules. Further experiments revealed platelets acted as a bridge to mediate leukocyte adhesion, and platelet-mediated adhesion was the predominant pattern in the presence of platelets. However, platelet pre-incubation significantly suppressed leukocyte transendothelial migration after hypoxia-reoxygenation(over 31%), which could be aggravated by blockade of endothelial-cell-expressed adhesion molecules, but alleviated by blockade of platelet-expressed adhesion molecules. This would indicate that platelet-mediated adhesion disrupted leukocyte transendothelial migration. An in vivo mesenteric ischemia-reperfusion model demonstrated leukocyte transfusion alone caused mild leukocyte adhesion to reperfused vessels and subsequent leukocyte infiltration, while simultaneous leukocyte and platelet transfusion led to massive leukocyte adhesion and sequestration within reperfused microvessels. Our studies revealed platelets enhanced leukocyte adhesion to endothelial cells, but suppressed leukocyte transendothelial migration. 7Parameter optimization of control system design for uncertain wireless power transfer systems using modified genetic algorithm显示文摘The closed-loop wireless power transfer(WPT)system can realize constant voltage output in the presence of perturbation.However,the parameter design of the controller is a difficult problem.The traditional trial-and-error method is time-consuming and difficult to find optimal parameters.A parameter optimization strategy of control systems for uncertain WPT systems using the modified genetic algorithm(MGA)is proposed.Firstly,because the system has different characteristics at different periods,the simulation process is divided into three stages.The first one is the start-up stage,in which we mainly consider the overshoot and the rate of the voltage rise.The second one is the tracking stage,in which the tracking time and switching loss are mainly considered.The third one is the stabilisation stage,in which the steady-state error and switching loss are mainly considered.Secondly,three cost functions are designed according to the characteristics of the three stages,and then the optimal controller parameters of each stage are obtained by using MGA.Finally,the effectiveness of the proposed method is verified by simulation.The optimization results show that compared with the previous parameter optimization method,the optimal controller parameters obtained by the proposed method make the WPT system achieve better performance.Xudong Gao Wenjie Cao Qiang Yang Honglin Wang Xiaolei Wang Guang Jin Jun Zhang 2022CAAI Transactions on Intelligence Technology2022,7,4:1

10Estimation of the 2001 Kunlun earthquake fault slip from GPS coseismic data using Hori’s inverse method显示文摘The Hori’s inverse method based on spectral decomposition was applied to estimate coseismic slip distribution on the rupture plane of the 14 November 2001 MS8.1 Kunlun earthquake based on GPS survey results.The inversion result shows that the six sliding models can be constrained by the coseismic GPS data.The established slips mainly concentrated along the eastern segment of the fault rupture,and the maximum magnitude is about 7 m.Slip on the eastern segment of the fault rupture represents as purely left-lateral strike-slip.Slip on the western segment of the seismic rupture represents as mainly dip-slip with the maximum dip-slip about 1 m.Total predicted scalar seismic moment is 5.196×1020 N?m.Our results constrained by geodetic data are consistent with seismological results.Honglin Jin Hui Wang 2009Earthquake Science2009,22,6:1

20Comparison of caspase-3 activation in tumor cells upon treatment of chemotherapeutic drugs using capillary electrophoresis显示文摘Caspases play important roles in cell apoptosis.Meas-urement of the dynamics of caspase activation in tumor cells not only facilitates understanding of the molecular mechanisms of apoptosis but also contributes to the development,screening,and evaluation of anticancer drugs that target apoptotic pathways.The fluorescence resonance energy transfer(FRET)technique provides a valuable approach for defining the dynamics of apop-tosis with high spatio-temporal resolution.However,FRET generally functions in the single-cell level and becomes ineffective when applied in the high throughput detection of caspase activation.In the cur-rent study,a FRET sensor was combined with capillary electrophoresis(CE)to achieve a high throughput method for cellular caspase detection.The FRET-based CE system is composed of a homemade CE system and a laser source for detecting the dynamics of caspase-3 in various cells expressing sensors of caspase-3 that have been treated with anticancer drugs,such as cell cycle-independent drug cisplatin and specific cell cycle drugs camptothecin and etoposide,as well as their combination with tumor necrosis factor(TNF).A posi-tive correlation between the caspase-3 activation ve-locity and drug concentration was observed when the cells were treated with cisplatin,but cells induced by camptothecin and etoposide did not show any apparent correlation with their concentrations.Moreover,differ-ent types of cells presented distinct sensitivities under the same drug treatment,and the combination treat-ment of TNF and anticancer drugs significantly accel-erated the caspase-3 activation process.Its high throughput capability and detection sensitivity make the FRET-based CE system a useful tool for investi-gating the mechanisms of anticancer drugs and anti-cancer drug screening.Shuang Sha Honglin Jin Xiao Li Jie Yang Ruiting Ai Jinling Lu 2012Protein & Cell2012,3,5:1
