| 1 | Chinese Stroke Association guidelines for clinical management of cerebrovascular disorders: executive summary and 2019 update of clinical management of cerebral venous sinus thrombosis显示文摘Aim Cerebral venous sinus thrombosis(CVST)is a less common cerebrovascular disease that predominantly affects young patients.The incidence of CVST is 2-5/10000000/year,accounting for 0.5%-1%of all stroke.To reduce mortality and morbidity associated with CVST,Chinese Stroke Association commissioned the authors to write the current guideline on the management of CVST.Methods PubMed(MEDLINE),CNKI and Wanfang database were searched for studies related to CVST from 1 January 1990 to 31 July 2019.Data were synthesised by evidence tables.Each recommendation was fully discussed by the writing group members and reviewed by Chinese Stroke Association Stroke Fellow Committees.Levels of evidence grading algorithm of Chinese Stroke Association was used to grade each recommendation.results This guideline mainly focuses on the diagnostic evaluation,therapeutic strategies and secondary prevention of CVST.CT/CTV and MRI/MRV are recommended in the initial imaging evaluation of patients with suspected CVST.Anticoagulation therapy with low-molecular weight heparin should be initiated in patients with CVST immediately.After the acute stage,warfarin is recommended for 3-6 months to prevent the recurrence of CVST and other venous thromboembolic events.Conclusions The guideline summarises the current evidence regarding the management of CVST,and provides references for diagnosis,treatment and secondary prevention of CVST in China. | Yuhua Fan Jian Yu Hongbing Chen Jian Zhang Jiangang Duan Dapeng Mo Wenhao Zhu Bo Wang Fubing Ouyang Yicong Chen Linfang Lan Jinsheng Zeng Chinese Stroke Association Stroke Council CVST Guideline Writing Committee | 2020 | Stroke & Vascular Neurology2020,5,2: | 14 |
| 2 | Pediatric reference intervals in China(PRINCE):design and rationale for a large,multicenter collaborative cross-sectional study显示文摘There is a lack of accurate pediatric reference intervals(RIs) in China, with most commonly used RIs established without consideration of the effect of age and gender. The Pediatric Reference Intervals in China(PRINCE) project aims to establish and verify pediatric RIs for 31 common laboratory measurands.The project will be a large, multicenter cross-sectional study:14,490 healthy children and adolescents aged up to 19 years will be surveyed by 10 children's hospitals and one pediatric department of a university hospital. To evaluate the feasibility and efficiency of the study methods, 602 children were surveyed in the pilot phase of the PRINCE study in April 2017: it found that some measurands were distinctly age dependent and that there were differences between values for males and females. The results of the pilot study affirmed the necessity of the PRINCE project for Chinese pediatrics. The pilot also indicated potential difficulties in the full survey, e.g., difficulties in recruiting children aged under 3 years and insufficient collection of blood samples from infants. | 12 | Identification of A-to-I RNA editing profiles and their clinical relevance in lung adenocarcinoma显示文摘Adenosine-to-inosine(A-to-I)RNA editing is a widespread posttranscriptional modification that has been shown to play an important role in tumorigenesis.Here,we evaluated a total of 19,316 RNA editing sites in the tissues of 80 lung adenocarcinoma(LUAD)patients from our Nanjing Lung Cancer Cohort(NJLCC)and 486 LUAD patients from the TCGA database.The global RNA editing level was significantly increased in tumor tissues and was highly heterogeneous across patients.The high RNA editing level in tumors was attributed to both RNA(ADAR1 expression)and DNA alterations(mutation load).Consensus clustering on RNA editing sites revealed a new molecular subtype(EC3)that was associated with the poorest prognosis of LUAD patients.Importantly,the new classification was independent of classic molecular subtypes based on gene expression or DNA methylation.We further proposed a simplified model including eight RNA editing sites to accurately distinguish the EC3 subtype in our patients.The model was further validated in the TCGA dataset and had an area under the curve(AUC)of the receiver operating characteristic curve of 0.93(95%CI:0.91-0.95).In addition,we found that LUAD cell lines with the EC3 subtype were sensitive to four chemotherapy drugs.These findings highlighted the importance of RNA editing events in the tumorigenesis of LUAD and provided insight into the application of RNA editing in the molecular subtyping and clinical treatment of cancer. | Cheng Wang Mingtao Huang Congcong Chen Yuancheng Li Na Qin Zijian Ma Jingyi Fan Linnan Gong Hui Zeng Liu Yang Xianfeng Xu Jun Zhou Juncheng Dai Guangfu Jin Zhibin Hu Hongxia Ma Fengwei Tan Hongbing Shen | 2022 | Science China(Life Sciences)2022,65,1: | 1 |
