High precision topographic data on Lop Nor basin's Lake 'Great Ear' ? and the timing of its becoming a dry salt lake显示文摘High precision elevation measurements using DGPS were carried out along three representative tran- sects for the 'Great Ear' area, a dry salt lake within the Lop Nor basin. Results indicate that the Lop Nor basin is only 5.2 m deep and its lowest point occurs at the center of the 'Great Ear'. In addition, the basin is asymmetric - steeper in the southwest (0.19‰) and gentler in the northeast (0.09‰). Points along the same 'Great Ear' ring were found to have an identical elevation value, but different when from different ones (lower towards the center). The spacing of the 'Great Ear' rings was found to be closely related with the surface steepness. The closer the 'Great Ear' rings are spaced, the steeper the ground surface, and vice versa. These findings support the argument that the 'Great Ear' rings are the former shoreline trails left behind by Lop Nor water during the last few episodes of recession towards its total dry up. A comprehensive analysis of the high precision elevation data, historical accounts, aerial and satellite photographs and imagery, and official topographic maps of the study area suggests that the 'Great Ear' area in the Lop Nor basin was incorrectly mapped as being covered by a great body of water on the 1963 topographic maps. A re-interpretation of the 1958 aerial photographs and newer remote sensing imagery indicated that the 'Great Ear' ring structure was already in place in 1958 and it continued to appear on the subsequent remote sensing data without any major changes. It is estimated that lake water in the 'Great Ear' area of the Lop Nor basin disappeared between the late 1930s and early 1940s. | LI BaoGuo MA LiChun JIANG PingAn DUAN ZengQiang SUN DanFeng QIU HongLie ZHONG JunPing WU HongQi | 2008 | Chinese Science Bulletin2008,53,6: | 11
Comparison of nonhuman primates identified the suitable model for COVID-19显示文摘Identification of a suitable nonhuman primate(NHP)model of COVID-19 remains challenging. Here,we characterized severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)infection in three NHP species:Old World monkeys Macaca mulatta(M.mulatta)and Macaca fascicularis(M.fascicularis)and New World monkey Callithrix jacchus(C.jacchus).Infected M.mulatta and M.fascicularis showed abnormal chest radiographs,an increased body temperature and a decreased body weight.Viral genomes were detected in swab and blood samples from all animals.Viral load was detected in the pulmonary tissues of M.mulatta and M.fascicularis but not C.jacchus.Furthermore,among the three animal species,M.mulatta showed the strongest response to SARS-CoV-2,including increased inflammatory cytokine expression and pathological changes in the pulmonary tissues.Collectively, these data revealed the different susceptibilities of Old World and New World monkeys to SARS-CoV-2 and identified M.mulatta as the most suitable for modeling COVID-19. | Shuaiyao Lu Yuan Zhao Wenhai Yu Yun Yang Jiahong Gao Junbin Wang Dexuan Kuang Mengli Yang Jing Yang Chunxia Ma Jingwen Xu Xingli Qian Haiyan Li Siwen Zhao Jingmei Li Haixuan Wang Haiting Long Jingxian Zhou Fangyu Luo Kaiyun Ding Daoju Wu Yong Zhang Yinliang Dong Yuqin Liu Yinqiu Zheng Xiaochen Lin Li Jiao Huanying Zheng Qing Dai Qiangming Sun Yunzhang Hu Changwen Ke Hongqi Liu Xiaozhong Peng | 2020 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2020,5,1: | 5
Allosteric inhibition reveals SHP2-mediated tumor immunosuppression in colon cancer by single-cell transcriptomics显示文摘Colorectal cancer(CRC), a malignant tumor worldwide consists of microsatellite instability(MSI) and stable(MSS) phenotypes. Although SHP2 is a hopeful target for cancer therapy, its relationship with innate immunosuppression remains elusive. To address that, single-cell RNA sequencing wasperformed to explore the role of SHP2 in all cell types of tumor microenvironment(TME) from murine MC38 xenografts. Intratumoral cells were found to be functionally heterogeneous and responded significantly to SHP099, a SHP2 allosteric inhibitor. The malignant evolution of tumor cells was remarkably arrested by SHP099. Mechanistically, STING-TBK1-IRF3-mediated type I interferon signaling was highly activated by SHP099 in infiltrated myeloid cells. Notably, CRC patients with MSS phenotype exhibited greater macrophage infiltration and more potent SHP2 phosphorylation in CD68;macrophages than MSI-high phenotypes, suggesting the potential role of macrophagic SHP2 in TME. Collectively, our data reveals a mechanism of innate immunosuppression mediated by SHP2, suggesting that SHP2 is a promising target for colon cancer immunotherapy. | Jian Gao Zhigui Wu Mingxia Zhao Rui Zhang Manru Li Dongdong Sun Haibo Cheng Xianjia Qi Yuxian Shen Qiang Xu Hongqi Chen Dijun Chen Yang Sun | 2022 | Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2022,12,1: | 5
Multi-function radar emitter identification based on stochastic syntax-directed translation schema显示文摘To cope with the problem of emitter identification caused by the radar words' uncertainty of measured multi-function radar emitters, this paper proposes a new identification method based on stochastic syntax-directed translation schema(SSDTS). This method, which is deduced from the syntactic modeling of multi-function radars, considers the probabilities of radar phrases appearance in different radar modes as well as the probabilities of radar word errors occurrence in different radar phrases. It concludes that the proposed method can not only correct the defective radar words by using the stochastic translation schema, but also identify the real radar phrases and working modes of measured emitters concurrently. Furthermore, a number of simulations are presented to demonstrate the identification capability and adaptability of the SSDTS algorithm. The results show that even under the condition of the defective radar words distorted by noise, the proposed algorithm can infer the phrases, work modes and types of measured emitters correctly. | Liu Haijun Yu Hongqi Sun Zhaolin Diao Jietao | 2014 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2014,27,6: | 4
Multi-EAP: Extended EAP for multi-estimate extraction for SMC-PHD filter显示文摘The ability to extract state-estimates for each target of a multi-target posterior, referred to as multi-estimate extraction(MEE), is an essential requirement for a multi-target filter, whose key performance assessments are based on accuracy, computational efficiency and reliability. The probability hypothesis density(PHD) filter, implemented by the sequential Monte Carlo approach, affords a computationally efficient solution to general multi-target filtering for a time-varying number of targets, but leaves no clue for optimal MEE. In this paper, new data association techniques are proposed to distinguish real measurements of targets from clutter, as well as to associate particles with measurements. The MEE problem is then formulated as a family of parallel singleestimate extraction problems, facilitating the use of the classic expected a posteriori(EAP) estimator, namely the multi-EAP(MEAP) estimator. The resulting MEAP estimator is free of iterative clustering computation, computes quickly and yields accurate and reliable estimates. Typical simulation scenarios are employed to demonstrate the superiority of the MEAP estimator over existing methods in terms of faster processing speed and better estimation accuracy. | Li Tiancheng Juan M.Corchado Sun Shudong Fan Hongqi | 2017 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2017,30,1: | 4
Location and size regulation of manganese oxides within mesoporous silica for enhanced antibiotic degradation显示文摘Refractory antibiotics in domestic wastewater are hard to be completely eliminated by conventional methods, and then lead to severe environmental contamination and adverse effects on public health. In present work, advanced oxidation processes(AOPs)are adopted to remove the antibiotic of sul-fachloropyridazine(SCP).Nanosized Mn_(2)O_(3) was fabricated on the SBA-15 material to catalytically acti-vate potassium peroxydisulfate(PDS)to generate reactive oxygen radicals of.OH and SO_(4).for SCP degradation. The effects of location and size of Mn_(2)O_(3) were explored through choosing either the as-made or template free SBA-15 as the precursor of substrate.Great influences from the site and size of Mn_(2)O_(3) on the oxidation activity were discovered. It was found that Mn_(2)O_(3) with a large size at the exterior of SBA-15(Mn-tfSBA)was slightly easier to degrade SCP at a low manganese loading of 1.0-2.0 mmol.g;however, complete SCP removal could only be achieved on the catalyst of Mn_(2)O_(3) with a refined size at the interior of SBA-15(Mn-asSBA).Moreover,the SO_(4).species were revealed to be the decisive radicals in the SCP degradation processes.Exploring the as-made mesoporous silica as a support provides a new idea for the further development of environmentally friendly catalysts. | Min Lu Mengxuan Liu Chunli Xu Yu Yin Lei Shi Hong Wu Aihua Yuan Xiao-Ming Ren Shaobin Wang Hongqi Sun | 2022 | Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2022,35,8: | 3

Nitrogen-doped Carbon Nanospheres-Modified Graphitic Carbon Nitride with Outstanding Photocatalytic Activity显示文摘Metals and metal oxides are widely used as photo/electro-catalysts for environmental remediation. However, there are many issues related to these metal-based catalysts for practical applications, such as high cost and detrimental environmental impact due to metal leaching.Carbon-based catalysts have the potential to overcome these limitations. In this study, monodisperse nitrogen-doped carbon nanospheres(NCs)were synthesized and loaded onto graphitic carbon nitride(g-C3N4,GCN)via a facile hydrothermal method for photocatalytic removal of sulfachloropyridazine(SCP).The prepared metal-free GCN-NC exhibited remarkably enhanced efficiency in SCP degradation. The nitrogen content in NC critically influences the physicochemical properties and performances of the resultant hybrids. The optimum nitrogen doping concentration was identified at 6.0 wt%.The SCP removal rates can be improved by a factor of 4.7 and 3.2,under UV and visible lights,by the GCN-NC composite due to the enhanced charge mobility and visible light harvesting. The mechanism of the improved photocatalytic performance and band structure alternation were further investigated by density functional theory(DFT)calculations. The DFT results confirm the high capability of the GCN-NC hybrids to activate the electron–hole pairs by reducing the band gap energy and efficiently separating electron/hole pairs.Superoxide and hydroxyl radicals are subsequently produced, leading to the efficient SCP removal. | Qiaoran Liu Hao Tian Zhenghua Dai Hongqi Sun Jian Liu Zhimin Ao Shaobin Wang Chen Han Shaomin Liu | 2020 | Nano-Micro Letters2020,12,2: | 2
Brain-derived neurotrophic factor prevents beta-amyloid-induced apoptosis of pheochromocytoma cells by regulating Bax/Bcl-2 expression显示文摘Brain-derived neurotrophic factor was utilized in the present study to treat cell injury models induced by aggregated β-amyloid(25-35).Methylthiazolyldiphenyl-tetrazolium bromide assay and western blot analysis showed that brain-derived neurotrophic factor provided neuroprotection against cellular apoptosis by suppressing the decline in β-amyloid(25-35)-induced cell activity and the increasing ratio of Bax/Bcl-2.After treating pheochromocytoma cells with tyrosine kinase receptor B receptor inhibitor K252a,brain-derived neurotrophic factor reverses the above-mentioned changes. The experimental findings suggested that brain-derived neurotrophic factor prevented β-amyloid peptide-induced cellular apoptosis by modulating Bax/Bcl-2 expression, and this effect was associated with binding to the specific tyrosine kinase receptor B receptor. | Zhikun Sun Xingrong Ma Hongqi Yang Jiahua Zhao Jiewen Zhang | 2012 | Neural Regeneration Research2012,7,5: | 2
A multi-step induced strategy to fabricate core-shell Pt-Ni alloy as symmetric electrocatalysts for overall water splitting显示文摘Devising an electrocatalyst with brilliant efficiency and satisfactory durability for hydrogen production is of considerable demand, especially for large-scale application.Herein,we adopt a multi-step consequential induced strategy to construct a bifunctional electrocatalyst for the overall water splitting.Graphene oxide(GO)was used as a carbon matrix and in situ oxygen source, which was supported by the octahedral PtNi alloy to form the PtxNiy-GO precursor. When calcinating in Ar atmosphere, the oxygen in GO induced the surface segregation of Ni from the PtNi octahedron to form a core-shell structure of Ptx@Niy.Then,the surface-enriched Ni continuously induced the reformation of C in reduced graphene oxide(rGO)to enhance the degree of graphitization. This multi-step induction formed a nanocatalyst Pt_(x)@Ni_(y)-rGO which has very high catalytic efficiency and stability.By optimizing the feeding ratio of PtNi(Pt:Ni=1:2),the electrolytic overall water splitting at 10 mA·cm^(-2) can be driven by an electrolytic voltage of as low as 1.485 V,and hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)only needs an overpotential of 37 mV in 1.0 M KOH aqueous solution.Additionally, the catalyst exhibited consistent existence form in both HER and oxygen evolution reaction(OER),which was verified by switching the anode and cathode of the cell in the electrolysis of water. This work provides a new idea for the synthesis and evaluation of the bifunctional catalysts for water splitting. | Wenjuan Xu Jinfa Chang Yinggang Cheng Hongqi Liu Jifan Li Yongjian Ai Zenan Hu Xinyue Zhang Yiming Wang Qionglin Liang Yang Yang Hongbin Sun | 2022 | Nano Research2022,15,2: | 1

Acidification and bubble template derived porous g-C_(3)N_(4) for efficient photodegradation and hydrogen evolution显示文摘Graphitic carbon nitride(g-C_(3)N_(4))as a metal-free candidate of photocatalyst has received worldwide attention because of its great potentials in solar light-induced degradation and hydrogen evolution, yet the industrial application is seriously hindered by the small specific surface area and rapid recombination rate of carriers.Herein,we demonstrate that porous g-C_(3)N_(4)(HCl-CNU-X)can be prepared via the copolymerization of acidified melamine and a green bubble template(urea).Transmission electron microscopy and nitrogen sorption characterization results show that the prepared HCl-CNU-X possesses an in-plane porous structure and large specific surface area, enabling the exposure of more accessible active sites. As a result,HCl-CNU-X exhibits both enhanced photocatalytic tetracycline hydrochloride degradation and higher hydrogen evolution than bulk g-C_(3)N_(4).The boosted photocatalytic performance was ascribed to the formation of the porous structure, which dramatically promotes the separation of charge-carriers and facilitates the electron transfer. This work demonstrates that the acidification of nitrogen-rich precursors combined with a bubble-template can develop a new paradigm of highly porous photocatalysts for environmental remediation and water splitting. | Yixuan Wang Fengting He Lin Chen Jie Shang Jiajia Wang Shuaijun Wang Huimin Song Jinqiang Zhang Chaocheng Zhao Shaobin Wang Hongqi Sun | 2020 | Chinese Chemical Letters2020,31,10: | 1
