1Reactive capillary hemangiomas: a novel dermatologic toxicity following anti-PD-1 treatment with SHR-1210显示文摘Objective: SHR-1210 is a new and promising anti-PD-1 agent for solid tumors. During the phase I study of SHR-1210, we encountered a novel but prevalent immune-related dermatologic toxicity: reactive capillary hemangiomas(RCHs). Thus we tried to summarize the features of RCHs and estimate their relationship with tumor response.Methods: This prospective observational study systematically enrolled 98 patients with advanced solid tumors from April 27th,2016 to June 8th, 2017 in the context of the phase I clinical study of SHR-1210. This report focused on the skin toxicities. Patients underwent entire skin inspection every two weeks while taking medication. The clinical course of RCHs was recorded and their association with tumor response was estimated. The data cut-off date was November 15th, 2017.Results: After a median follow-up of 242(range, 29–567) days, RCHs were observed in 85.7%(84/98) of patients on cutaneous/mucosal surfaces; 84.5%(71/84) of the RCHs were evaluated as grade 1 adverse events. No grade 3 or 4 RCHs were observed. The time of onset of RCHs was dose dependent and shortest in the 400 mg-dose cohort(P < 0.001). Spontaneous and complete regression of RCHs was observed both during and after treatment. The objective response rate of tumors for patients with RCHs was 28.9%(24/83). However, no responders were observed among the patients without RCHs.Conclusions: RCHs were prevalent but manageable during treatment with SHR-1210. 2Terrestrial carbon sinks in China and around the world and their contribution to carbon neutrality显示文摘Enhancing the terrestrial ecosystem carbon sink(referred to as terrestrial C sink) is an important way to slow down the continuous increase in atmospheric carbon dioxide(CO_(2)) concentration and to achieve carbon neutrality target.To better understand the characteristics of terrestrial C sinks and their contribution to carbon neutrality,this review summarizes major progress in terrestrial C budget researches during the past decades,clarifies spatial patterns and drivers of terrestrial C sources and sinks in China and around the world,and examines the role of terrestrial C sinks in achieving carbon neutrality target.According to recent studies,the global terrestrial C sink has been increasing from a source of (-0.2±0.9) Pg C yr^(-1)(1 Pg=1015g)in the 1960s to a sink of (1.9±1.1) Pg C yr^(-1) in the 2010s.By synthesizing the published data,we estimate terrestrial C sink of 0.20–0.25 Pg C yr^(-1) in China during the past decades,and predict it to be 0.15–0.52 Pg C yr^(-1) by 2060.The terrestrial C sinks are mainly located in the mid-and high latitudes of the Northern Hemisphere,while tropical regions act as a weak C sink or source.The C balance differs much among ecosystem types:forest is the major C sink;shrubland,wetland and farmland soil act as C sinks;and whether the grassland functions as C sink or source remains unclear.Desert might be a C sink,but the magnitude and the associated mechanisms are still controversial.Elevated atmospheric CO_(2) concentration,nitrogen deposition,climate change,and land cover change are the main drivers of terrestrial C sinks,while other factors such as fires and aerosols would also affect ecosystem C balance.The driving factors of terrestrial C sink differ among regions.Elevated CO_(2) concentration and climate change are major drivers of the C sinks in North America and Europe,while afforestation and ecological restoration are additionally important forcing factors of terrestrial C sinks in China.For future studies,we recommend the necessity for intensive and long-term ecosystem C monitoring over broad geographic scale to improve terrestrial biosphere models for accurately evaluating terrestrial C budget and its dynamics under various climate change and policy scenarios.Yuanhe Yang Yue Shi Wenjuan Sun Jinfeng Chang Jianxiao Zhu Leiyi Chen Xin Wang Yanpei Guo Hongtu Zhang Lingfei Yu Shuqing Zhao Kang Xu Jiangling Zhu Haihua Shen Yuanyuan Wang Yunfeng Peng Xia Zhao Xiangping Wang Huifeng Hu Shiping Chen Mei Huang Xuefa Wen Shaopeng Wang Biao Zhu Shuli Niu Zhiyao Tang Lingli Liu Jingyun Fang 2022Science China(Life Sciences)2022,65,5:32

6Synthesis of thermoresponsive polystyrene-based comb-type grafted poly(N-isopropylacrylamide)显示文摘Narrowly distributed polystyrene-g-p(N-isopropylacrylamide) (PSt-g-PNIPAM) was prepared by atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP) of N-isopropylacrylamide using the brominated polystyrene as macroinitiator and CuCl combined with hexamethyltriethylenetetramine as catalyst. Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy confirmed the structure of PSt-g-PNIPAM. The gel permeation chromatography (GPC) showed that the graft copoly- mer had a single distribution peak with molecular weight, Mn (g/mol) of 19815 g/mol (using polystyrene as the standard). 8Quantitative analysis of the tribological properties of phosphate glass at the nano- and macro-scales显示文摘Processing(grinding,polishing)of phosphate laser(PL)glass involves material removal at two vastly different(spatial)scales.In this study,the nano‐and macro‐tribological properties of PL glass are investigated by rubbing the glass against a SiO_(2) counter‐surface in both dry and humid conditions.The results indicate that the friction of the PL glass/SiO_(2) pair has opposing trends at the nano‐and macroscales.At the nanoscale,the friction coefficient(COF)in humid air is much higher than in dry air,which is attributed to the capillary effect of the absorbed water‐film at the interface.At the macroscale,on the other hand,the COF in humid air is lower than in dry air,because the water‐related mechanochemical wear makes the worn surface less susceptible to cracking.Material removal for PL glass is better facilitated by humid air than by dry air at both scales,because the stress‐enhanced hydrolysis accelerates the material‐removal process in glass.Moreover,the material‐removal is more sensitive to contact pressure at the macroscale,because stronger mechanical‐interaction occurs during material removal at the macroscale with the multi asperity contact mode.At the macroscale,the material removal is more sensitive to contact pressure in humid air compared to dry air.Because almost all mechanical energy is used to remove material in humid air,and most of the mechanical energy is used to produce cracks in PL glass in dry air.The results of this study can help optimize the multi‐scale surface processing of optical glasses.Huimin QI Wen HU Hongtu HE Yafeng ZHANG Chenfei SONG Jiaxin YU 2021Friction2021,9,5:1

14Interactive effects of elevated CO2 and nitrogen fertilization levels on photosynthesized carbon allocation in a temperate spring wheat and soil system显示文摘Increasing atmospheric CO2 concentration impacts the terrestrial carbon(C) cycle by affecting plant photosynthesis, the flow of photosynthetically fixed C belowground, and soil C pool turnover. For managed agroecosystems, how and to what extent the interactions between elevated CO2 and N fertilization levels influence the accumulation of photosynthesized C in crops and the incorporation of photosynthesized C into arable soil are in urgent need of exploration.We conducted an experiment simulating elevated CO2 with spring wheat(Triticum aestivum L.) planted in growth chambers.13C-enriched CO2 with an identical 13C abundance was continuously supplied at ambient and elevated CO2 concentrations(350 and 600 μmol mol-1, respectively) until wheat harvest.Three levels of N fertilizer application(equivalent to 80, 120, and 180 kg N ha-1 soil) were supplied for wheat growth at both CO2 concentrations. During the continuous 62-d 13CO2 labeling period, elevated CO2 and increased N fertilizer application increased photosynthesized C accumulation in wheat by 14%–24% and 11%–20%, respectively, as indicated by increased biomass production, whereas the C/N ratio in the roots increased under elevated CO2 but declined with increasing N fertilizer application levels. Wheat root deposition induced 1%–2.5% renewal of soil C after 62 d of 13CO2 labeling. Compared to ambient CO2, elevated CO2 increased the amount of photosynthesized C incorporated into soil by 20%–44%. However, higher application rates of N fertilizer reduced the net input of root-derived C in soil by approximately 8% under elevated CO2. For the wheat-soil system, elevated CO2 and increased N fertilizer application levels synergistically increased the amount of photosynthesized C. The pivotal role of plants in photosynthesized C accumulation under elevated CO2 was thereby enhanced in the short term by the increased N application. 17乳腺癌前哨淋巴结微小转移的检测(英文)显示文摘Objective: To study the best examination method of micrometastases in sentinel lymph node (SLN) of breast cancer and study the related factors with micrometastases. Methods: By step serial sectioning technique and immunohisto- chemistry, 121 SLNs and 44 tumors of 59 cases were examined. Results: Micrometastases was found in 17 SLNs (14%) of 14 (24%) cases. The more sections or examination methods, the more micrometastases were found. Micrometastases was related with the tumor size and the expression of c-erbB2, MMP-2 and VEGF. Conclusion: The best examination method is making sections at two levels with 100 μm interval and combination of HE staining and muc1 immunohistochemistry. We can get the excellent detection/cost by this method. 19探讨粒细胞肉瘤的诊断与鉴别诊断(英文)显示文摘Objective:To discuss the diagnosis and differential diagnosis of granulocytic sarcoma(GS).Methods:Six cases were reported in this paper.They were assessed by pathologists.Immunohistochemistry(IHC) stain and routine hematoxylin and eosin(H&E) stain were applied.Results:All patients involved in different anatomic sites respectively including skin,lymph node,soft tissue,breast,cervix and penis.All cases were previously error diagnoses.Three of them were initially diagnosed as non-Hodgkin lymphoma(NHL).One case of cervical lymph node lesion was first considered as metastasized carcinoma by clinician.One biopsied skin sample was initially reported as Karposi's sarcoma.And one breast case was suspicious of the lobular carcinoma with the frozen samples without antecedent clinical history information.GS was accompanied with acute myeloid leukemia(AML) in one case and with acute lymphocytic leukemia(ALL) in one case.Histopathologically,blastic,immature and differentiated variants were found in four,one and one,respectively.Immunohistochemistry(IHC) showed that myeloperoxidase(MPO) and lysozyme were both found to be positive in all cases,CD43 was found in 5 of 6 cases.Three of six cases were CD68,CD15 and LCA positive.CD34 and CD117 were positive in 1/5 and 1/6 cases,respectively.However,CD20 and CD3 were negative in all cases.Conclusion:GS was uncommon and it may be misdiagnosed easily in routine practice.Each area had its own character,but they had the common features too.It can be correctly diagnosed by combination of H&E stain,IHC stain,peripheral blood and bone marrow.MPO and Lysozyme were necessary for the nature of granulocytes.In addition,CD43,CD68 and CD15 were very helpful.Xiaoli Feng Jianming Ying C. 20CD10,Bcl-6,CD138,Bcl-2,MUM1在136例弥漫大B细胞淋巴瘤中的表达及预后意义(英文)显示文摘Objective: We evaluated the value of using a panel of GC B-cell (CD10 and Bcl-6) and activation (MUM1, CD138 and Bcl-2) markers by immunohistochemistry to define prognosis in patients with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL). Methods: Two different models (Hans’ and modified Chang’s model) were applied on 136 de novo DLBCL patients. Median follow-up in all patients was 39 months (range 5–80 months). Results: According to Hans’ model, patients with GCB had much better overall survival (5-year OS, 75%) than those with non-GCB (5-year OS, 52%) (Kaplan-Meier survival analysis, P < 0.05, log rank test). According to modified Chang’s model, patients with group 1 had much better overall survival (5-year OS, 78%) than those with group 3 (5-year OS, 44%) while group 2 had no significant value compared with group 1 and group 3 in prognosis (Kaplan-Meier survival analysis, P < 0.05, log-rank test). Using multivariate Cox proportional hazards regression analysis, the international prognostic index scores (IPI), expression of CD138 and the expression pattern of modified Chang’s model were independent prognostic indicators.
