| 5 | Impact of FY-3D MWRI Radiance Assimilation in GRAPES 4DVar on Forecasts of Typhoon Shanshan显示文摘In this study, Fengyun-3 D(FY-3 D) Micro Wave Radiation Imager(MWRI) radiance data were directly assimilated into the Global/Regional Assimilation and Pr Ediction System(GRAPES) four-dimensional variational(4 DVar) system. Quality control procedures were developed for MWRI applications by using algorithms from similar microwave instruments. Compared with the FY-3 C MWRI, the bias of FY-3 D MWRI observations did not show a clear node-dependent difference from the numerical weather prediction background simulation. A conventional bias correction approach can therefore be used to remove systematic biases before the assimilation of data. After assimilating the MWRI radiance data into GRAPES, the geopotential height and humidity analysis fields were improved relative to the control experiment. | 6 | Anammox bacterial abundance and biodiversity in greenhouse vegetable soil are influenced by high nitrate content显示文摘The anaerobic ammonium oxidizing(anammox) process has been found to play an important role in terrestrial ecosystems in recent years. However,the diversity and abundance of anammox bacteria in nitrogen(N)-rich agricultural soils under high fertilizer greenhouse conditions are still unclear. Two greenhouse fields with different N fertilizer input levels were chosen, and their soil profiles were studied with molecular technologies, including quantitative polymerase chain reaction assay, a clone library, and phylogenetic analysis based on hzsB(encoding anammox hydrazine synthase β-subunit) gene. Molecular analyses suggested that anammox bacteria were at their highest density at 10–20 cm soil depth, and that the anammox bacterial abundance was significantly lower at high N than at low N. Candidatus Brocadia was the sole anammox bacterial genus throughout the soil depth profiles. The highest diversity of anammox bacteria was found at 30–40 cm soil depth, and different phylotypic clusters of Candidatus Brocadia were associated with specific soil environmental factors, such as nitrates, soil depth, and total N. Correlation analyses and redundancy analyses confirmed that high nitrate content associated with high N fertilizer input had a significant negative influence on the abundance and biodiversity of anammox bacteria. | 12 | Tuning the primary selective nanochannels of MOF thin-film nanocomposite nanofiltration membranes for efficient removal of hydrophobic endocrine disrupting compounds显示文摘Metal organic framework(MOF)incorporated thin-film nanocomposite(TFN)membranes have the potential to enhance the removal of endocrine disrupting compounds(EDCs).In MOF-TFN membranes,water transport nanochannels include(i)pores of polyamide layer,(ii)pores in MOFs and(iii)channels around MOFs(polyamide-MOF interface).However,information on how to tune the nanochannels to enhance EDCs rejection is scarce,impeding the refinement of TFN membranes toward efficient removal of EDCs.In this study,by changing the polyamide properties,the water transport nanochannels could be confined primarily in pores of MOFs when the polyamide layer became dense.Interestingly,the improved rejection of EDCs was dependent on the water transport channels of the TFN membrane.At low monomer concentration(i.e.,loose polyamide structure),the hydrophilic nanochannels of MIL-101(Cr)in the polyamide layer could not dominate the membrane separation performance,and hence the extent of improvement in EDCs rejection was relatively low.In contrast,at high monomer concentration(i.e.,dense polyamide structure),the hydrophilic nanochannels of MIL-101(Cr)were responsible for the selective removal of hydrophobic EDCs,demonstrating that the manipulation of water transport nanochannels in the TFN membrane could successfully overcome the permeability and EDCs rejection trade-off.Our results highlight the potential of tuning primary selective nanochannels of MOF-TFN membranes for the efficient removal of EDCs. | Ruobin Dai Hongyi Han Yuting Zhu Xi Wang Zhiwei Wang | 2022 | Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2022,16,4: | 0 |

| 14 | A knowledge graph for standard carbonate microfacies and its application in the automatical reconstruction of the relative sea-level curve显示文摘The reconstruction of high-resolution sea-level variation curves in deep time based on the standard car-bonate microfacies knowledge graph(SMFKG)is of great scientific significance for exploring the Earth system evolution and predicting future sea-level and climate changes.In this study,the concepts,attri-butes,and relationships among standard carbonate microfacies(SMF)are comprehensively analyzed;an ontology layer is established and its data layer is constructed using thin-section descriptions;and finally,the SMFKG is established.Additionally,based on the knowledge graph,an application for automatically identifying SMF using identification markers and reconstructing the high-resolution relative sea-level variation curve using the SMF and facies zones is compiled.Then,all thin sections of the late Ediacaran Dengying Formation in the western margin of the Yangtze Platform are observed and described in detail,the SMF and facies zones are identified automatically,and the relative sea-level curve is recon-structed automatically using the SMFKG.The reconstruction results show that the Yangtze Platform experienced four sea-level rise and fall cycles in the late Ediacaran,of which two intense regressions led to subaerial-exposed unconformities in the interior and top of the Dengying Formation,which is highly consistent with previous research results.This shows that the high-resolution relative sea-level variation curve in deep time can be reconstructed efficiently and intelligently using the SMFKG.Additionally,in the near future,the combination of an automatic digital slide-scanning system,machine-learning techniques,and the SMFKG can achieve one-stop fully automatic SMF recognition and reconstruction of high-resolution relative sea-level variation curves in deep time,which has a high application value. | Han Wang Hanting Zhong Anqing Chen Keran Li Hang He Zhe Qi Dongyu Zheng Hongyi Zhao Mingcai Hou | 2023 | Geoscience Frontiers2023,14,5: | 0 |

| 19 | Wavelet based deep learning for depth estimation from single fringe pattern of fringe projection profilometry显示文摘Depth estimation from single fringe pattern is a fundamental task in the field of fringe projection three-dimensional(3D) measurement. Deep learning based on a convolutional neural network(CNN) has attracted more and more attention in fringe projection profilometry(FPP). However, most of the studies focus on complex network architecture to improve the accuracy of depth estimation with deeper and wider network architecture, which takes greater computational and lower speed. In this letter, we propose a simple method to combine wavelet transform and deep learning method for depth estimation from the single fringe pattern. Specially, the fringe pattern is decomposed into low-frequency and high-frequency details by the two-dimensional(2D) wavelet transform, which are used in the CNN network. Experiment results demonstrate that the wavelet-based deep learning method can reduce the computational complexity of the model by 4 times and improve the accuracy of depth estimation.
