| 1 | Durability of neutralizing antibodies and T-cell response post SARS-CoV-2 infection显示文摘The ongoing pandemic of coronavirus disease 19(COVID-19)is caused by a newly discoveredβcoronavirus named severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2).How long the adaptive immunity triggered by SARS-CoV-2 can last is of critical clinical relevance in assessing the probability of second infection and efficacy of vaccination.Here we examined,using ELISA,the IgG antibodies in serum specimens collected from 17 COVID-19 patients at 6–7 months after diagnosis and the results were compared to those from cases investigated 2 weeks to 2 months post-infection.All samples were positive for IgGs against the S-and N-proteins of SARS-CoV-2.Notably,14 samples available at 6–7 months post-infection all showed significant neutralizing activities in a pseudovirus assay,with no difference in blocking the cell-entry of the 614D and 614G variants of SARS-CoV-2.Furthermore,in 10 blood samples from cases at 6–7 months post-infection used for memory T-cell tests,we found that interferonγ-producing CD4+and CD8+cells were increased upon SARS-CoV-2 antigen stimulation.Together,these results indicate that durable anti-SARS-CoV-2 immunity is common in convalescent population,and vaccines developed from 614D variant may offer protection from the currently predominant 614D variant of SARS-CoV-2. | Yun Tan Feng Liu Xiaoguang Xu Yun Ling Weijin Huang Zhaoqin Zhu Mingquan Guo Yixiao Lin Ziyu Fu Dongguo Liang Tengfei Zhang Jian Fan Miao Xu Hongzhou Lu Saijuan Chen | 2020 | Frontiers of Medicine2020,14,6: | 6 |

| 3 | Biocontrol of Rhizoctonia solani Kühn Using Fermentative Solution of Streptomyces corchorusii Strain NF0919显示文摘A strain of Streptomyces corchorusii( NF0919) antagonistic to Rhizoctonia solani Kühn was isolated,which produced alkyl glycoside with high antifungal activity. To investigate the antifungal activity of Streptomyces corchorusii strain NF0919,the treatments amended with the non-sterilized supernatant resulted in the highest growth inhibition rate of about 100% at a concentration of 20%. The antifungal compound,which inhibited the growth of Rhizoctonia solani Kühn,was extracted by Et OAC and purified by silica gel,Sephadex LH-20 column,and HPLC,where an active fraction was confirmed by LC-MS and NMR techniques. | 4 | Evaluation of Epstein-Barr Virus Salivary Shedding in HIV/AIDS Patients and HAART Use: A Retrospective Cohort Study显示文摘Little data is available on the evaluation of the occurrence rates of Epstein-Barr virus(EBV) in saliva and relationship with highly active antiretroviral therapy(HAART) use in HIV/AIDS patients in China. We conducted a retrospective cohort study of EBV serological tests for HIV/AIDS patients who were treated in the hospitals for infectious diseases in Wuxi and Shanghai, China from May 2016 to April 2017. The EBV-seropositive samples were identified by ELISA. EBV-specific primers and probes were used for the quantitative detection of viral DNA from saliva via quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction. CD4 cell counts of the HIV/AIDS patients were detected by a flow cytometry. A total of 372 HIV/AIDS patients were ultimately selected and categorized for this retrospective cohort study. For EBV IgG and IgM, the HIV/AIDS HAART use(H) and non-HAART use(NH) groups had significantly higher seropositive rates than the HIV-negative control group. The HIV/AIDS(NH) group had the highest seropositive rate(IgG, 94.27%; IgM, 68.98%) and the highest incidence of EBV reactivation or infection. For salivary EBV DNA-positive rates and quantities, the HIV/AIDS(H)(73.69%) and the HIV/AIDS(NH)(100%) groups showed significantly higher values than the HIV-negative control group(35.79%,[ twofold). Further, the salivary EBV DNA-negative population had significantly higher CD4 cell counts than the EBV DNA-positive population in the HIV/AIDS(H) group and the HIV/AIDS(NH) groups. | 9 | Association between sleep duration and incidence of type 2 diabetes in China: the REACTION study显示文摘Backgrounds: Inadequate sleep duration is associated with a higher risk of type 2 diabetes and the relationship is nonlinear. We aim to assess the curve relationship between night sleep duration and the incidence of type 2 diabetes in China.Methods: A cohort of 11,539 participants from the REACTION study without diabetes at baseline (2011) were followed until 2014 for the development of type 2 diabetes. The average number of hours of sleep per night was grouped. Incidence rates and odds ratios (ORs) were calculated for the development of diabetes in each sleep duration category.Results: Compared to people who sleep for 7 to 8 h/night, people with longer sleep duration (≥9 h/night) had a greater risk of type 2 diabetes (OR: 1.27;95% CI: 1.01-1.61), while shorter sleep (<6 h/night) had no significant difference in risk of type 2 diabetes. When the dataset was stratified based on selected covariates, the association between type 2 diabetes and long sleep duration became more evident among individuals <65 years of age, male, body mass index <24 kg/m2 or with hypertension or hyperlipidemia, no interaction effects were observed. Furthermore, compared to people persistently sleeping 7 to 9 h/night, those who persistently slept ≥9 h/night had a higher risk of type 2 diabetes. The optimal sleep duration was 6.3 to 7.5 h/night.Conclusions: Short or long sleep duration was associated with a higher risk of type 2 diabetes. We assume that noise Power Spectral Density (PSD) in each spectral bin follows a Rayleigh distribution. Rayleigh distributions with its asymmetric tail charac- teristics give a better description of the noise PSD distribution than Gaussian distribution. Under this assumption, a new threshold updating expression is derived. Since the analytical integral of the false alarm probability, the threshold updating expression can be represented without the inverse comple- mentary error function and low computational complexity is achieved in our system. It is a popular application development language for its well-encapsulation, platform-independent and high security. There are great amounts of Java games and other gadgets on mobile platforms, as well as on set-up-box systems. As Java applications become more sophisticated, the Java Virtual Machine (JVM) mid-dle-wares in embedded systems are not satisfying, Java-specific chips extend in the market. All existing Java-based system software or Operating System (OS) are used on JVM, they cannot be used on Java processors. It is important to develop a pure Java system software or OS so that embedded systems using Java processors will have great performance in Java applications. This paper presents a set of system software designed for a Java-specified processor VP6K, which is also a System-on-Chip (SoC). This system software includes real-time multitask dispatching, file management, device management, hardware drivers, and infrastructural Application Programming Interface (APIs). According to ex-perimental results, the system software provides interfaces for Java programs to fully handle CPU resource, so that all applications can be executed properly and efficiently.
