| 1 | Lane departure warning systems and lane line detection methods based on image processing and semantic segmentation:A review显示文摘Recently,the development and application of lane line departure warning systems have been in the market.For any of the systems,the key part of lane line tracking,lane line identification,or lane line departure warning is whether it can accurately and quickly detect lane lines.Since 1990 s,they have been studied and implemented for the situations defined by the good viewing conditions and the clear lane markings on road.After then,the accuracy for particular situations,the robustness for a wide range of scenarios,time efficiency and integration into higher-order tasks define visual lane line detection and tracking as a continuing research subject.At present,these kinds of lane marking line detection methods based on machine vision and image processing can be divided into two categories:the traditional image processing and semantic segmentation(includes deep learning)methods.The former mainly involves feature-based and model-based steps,and which can be classified into similarity-and discontinuity-based ones;and the model-based step includes different parametric straight line,curve or pattern models.The semantic segmentation includes different machine learning,neural network and deep learning methods,which is the new trend for the research and application of lane line departure warning systems.This paper describes and analyzes the lane line departure warning systems,image processing algorithms and semantic segmentation methods for lane line detection. | Weiwei Chen Weixing Wang Kevin Wang Zhaoying Li Huan Li Sheng Liu | 2020 | Journal of Traffic and Transportation Engineering(English Edition)2020,7,6: | 14 |
| 2 | Inflammasome activation in mouse inner ear in response to MCMV induced hearing loss显示文摘Objective: To identify presence of inflammasome activated in mouse cochlea with sensorineural hearing loss(SNHL) caused by cytomegalovirus(CMV) infection.Method: MCMV was injected into the right cerebral hemisphere in neonatal BALB/c mice at 2000 pfu virus titers. Auditory brainstem responses(ABRs) were tested to evaluate hearing at 21 days. Histopathological studies were conducted to confirm localizations of MCMV infected cells in the inner ear. Expression of inflammasome related factors was assessed by immunofluorescence, Quantitative real-time PCR and Western blotting.Results: In the mouse model of CMV induced SNHL, inflammasome related kinase Caspase-1 and downstream inflammatory factor IL-1b and IL-18 were found increased and activated after CMV infection in the cochlea. These factors could further up-regulate expression of IL-6 and TNFa. These inflammatory factors are neurotoxicity and may contribute to hearing impairment. Furthermore, we also detected significantly increased AIM2 protein that accumulated in the SGN of cochleae with CMV infection.Significance: We have shown that inflammasome as a novel inherent immunity mechanism may contribute to hearing impairment.Conclusion: Our data indicate that imflammasome assemble in mouse inner ear in response to CMV infection. We have revealed a novel pathology event in CMV induced SNHL involving activation of inflammasome in mouse cochlea. | 6 | The preventive effect of vaccine prophylaxis on severe respiratory syncytial virus infection:A meta-analysis显示文摘Respiratory syncytial virus(RSV) is the key underlying cause of acute lower respiratory tract infection in infants; however, no licensed vaccine against RSV infection is currently available. This study was undertaken to assess the preventive effect of vaccine on RSV infection. In this metaanalysis, 1,792 published randomized clinical trials of RSV vaccines from Jan 1973 to Sep 2015 were examined. Among thirteen studies that met the inclusion criteria, eleven studies estimated the impact of RSV vaccines and four studies estimated the effect of adjuvants. The odds ratios(ORs) were 0.31(95% CI, 0.15–0.67) and 0.62(95% CI, 0.29–1.34), respectively. We found that RSV subunit vaccines can significantly reduce the incidence of RSV infection and that whether vaccination with adjuvant therapy was an effective strategy still remained to be studied. | 12 | Multi-Feature Fusion-Guided Multiscale Bidirectional Attention Networks for Logistics Pallet Segmentation显示文摘In the smart logistics industry,unmanned forklifts that intelligently identify logistics pallets can improve work efficiency in warehousing and transportation and are better than traditional manual forklifts driven by humans.Therefore,they play a critical role in smart warehousing,and semantics segmentation is an effective method to realize the intelligent identification of logistics pallets.However,most current recognition algorithms are ineffective due to the diverse types of pallets,their complex shapes,frequent blockades in production environments,and changing lighting conditions.This paper proposes a novel multi-feature fusion-guided multiscale bidirectional attention(MFMBA)neural network for logistics pallet segmentation.To better predict the foreground category(the pallet)and the background category(the cargo)of a pallet image,our approach extracts three types of features(grayscale,texture,and Hue,Saturation,Value features)and fuses them.The multiscale architecture deals with the problem that the size and shape of the pallet may appear different in the image in the actual,complex environment,which usually makes feature extraction difficult.Our study proposes a multiscale architecture that can extract additional semantic features.Also,since a traditional attention mechanism only assigns attention rights from a single direction,we designed a bidirectional attention mechanism that assigns cross-attention weights to each feature from two directions,horizontally and vertically,significantly improving segmentation.Finally,comparative experimental results show that the precision of the proposed algorithm is 0.53%–8.77%better than that of other methods we compared. | Weiwei Cai Yaping Song Huan Duan Zhenwei Xia Zhanguo Wei | 2022 | Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences2022,,6: | 1 |

| 16 | IgE Reactivity of Potential Allergens from the Swimming Crab Portunus trituberculatus and the Research of ELISA Reagent for Detecting Crab Food Anaphylaxis显示文摘Crustacean is one of the major allergic foods.It is of great significance to identify more crab allergens and research the detection methods for crab food anaphylaxis.In this study,IgE reactivity to three recombinant proteins from Portunus trituberculatus,including tropomyosin(rPtTM),myosin light chain(rPtMLC),and pancreatic lipase(rPtPL),were detected by enzyme-linked im-munosorbent assay(ELISA).The expressions of tropomyosin(TM)in various tissues of P.trituberculatus were detected by Western blot(WB).Furthermore,microplates were coated with rPtTM and the ELISA conditions were optimized.The cut-off value was deter-mined by the receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve.Among 51 crab-allergic sera,21(41.2%)showed positive IgE to rPtTM.Other 70 crab-allergic sera more frequently recognized rPtPL(9/70;12.9%),followed by rPtMLC(1/70;1.4%).WB results showed that TM was mainly expressed in the muscle,followed by the heart and a small amount in gills and the testis.The optimal results showed that the coating condition of rPtTM was 50 ng per well with coating for 3 h at 37℃.The optimal blocking condition was 1.2%BSA with blocking for 3 h at 37℃,and the optimal dilution of the second antibody was 1:1500.The ROC curve showed that the ELISA reagent had high sensitivity(83.52%)and specificity(98.00%)when the cut-off value was 0.45.All results indicated that tropomyosin is the major allergen of P.trituberculatus,and myosin light chain and pancreatic lipase are the potential allergens.Addi-tionally,the ELISA reagent developed with the rPtTM was feasible for laboratory detection of crab anaphylaxis. | QIU Xueni ZHOU Qiongyan ZHU Xiaoxia LIN Wei MU Changkao LI Ronghua YE Yangfang SONG Weiwei SHI Ce LIU Lei WANG Huan WANG Chunlin XU Suling | 2022 | Journal of Ocean University of China2022,21,2: | 0 |

| 20 | Effects of iodoacetic acid drinking water disinfection byproduct on the gut microbiota and its metabolism in rats显示文摘Iodoacetic acid(IAA) is an unregulated disinfection byproduct in drinking water and has been shown to exert cytotoxicity, genotoxicity, tumorigenicity, and reproductive and developmental toxicity. However, the effects of IAA on gut microbiota and its metabolism are still unknown, especially the association between gut microbiota and the metabolism and toxicity of IAA. In this study, female and male Sprague–Dawley rats were exposed to IAA at 0 and 16 mg/kg bw/day daily for 8 weeks by oral gavage. Results of 16S r RNA gene sequencing showed that IAA could alter the diversity, relative abundance and function of gut microbiota in female and male rats. IAA also increased the abundance of genes related to steroid hormone biosynthesis in the gut microbiota of male rats. Moreover, metabolomics profiling revealed that IAA could significantly disturb 6 and 13 metabolites in the feces of female and male rats, respectively. In female rats, the level of androstanediol increased in the IAA treatment group. These results were consistent with our previous findings, where IAA was identified as an androgen disruptor. Additionally, the perturbed gut microbiota and altered metabolites were correlated with each other. The results of this study indicated that IAA could disturb gut microbiota and its metabolism.
