| 1 | Melanin nanoparticles alleviate sepsis-induced myocardial injury by suppressing ferroptosis and inflammation显示文摘Myocardial injury as one of the severe complications leads to the increasing morbidity and mortality in patients with sepsis.Recent studies reported that reactive oxygen species(ROS)-mediated ferroptosis plays a critical role in the development of heart diseases.Therefore,we hypothesized that anti-ferroptosis agent might be a novel potential therapeutic strategy for sepsis-induced cardiac injury.Herein,we demonstrated that a small biocompatible and MRI-visible melanin nanoparticles(MMPP)improves myocardial function by inhibiting ROS-related ferroptosis signaling pathway.In LPS-induced murine sepsis model,after a single dose intravenously injection of MMPP treatment,MMPP markedly alleviated the myocardial injury including cardiac function and heart structure disorder through suppressing iron-accumulation induced ferroptosis.In vitro,MMPP inhibited cardiomyocyte death by attenuating oxidative stress,inflammation and maintaining mitochondrial homeostasis.Collectively,our findings demonstrated that MMPP protected heart against sepsis-induced myocardial injury via inhibiting ferroptosis and inflammation,which might be a novel therapeutic approach in future. | Chang Liu Quan Zou Huixin Tang Jia Liu Shiqi Zhang Caihong Fan Junwei Zhang Ruiqing Liu Yashan Liu Ruiyan Liu Yan Zhao Qiang Wu Zhi Qi Yanna Shen | 2023 | Bioactive Materials2023,,6: | 5 |

| 7 | Effect of depressants on flotation separation of magnesite from dolomite and calcite显示文摘The flotation separation of magnesite from calcium-containing minerals has always been a difficult subject in minerals processing.This work studied the inhibition effects of carboxymethyl cellulose(CMC),sodium lignosulphonate,polyaspartic acid(PASP)and sodium silicate on flotation behaviors of magnesite,dolomite and calcite,providing guidance for the development of reagents in magnesite flotation.The micro-flotation results showed that among these four depressants,sodium silicate presented the strongest selectivity due to the highest recovery difference,and the flotation separation of magnesite from dolomite and calcite could be achieved by using sodium silicate as the depressant.Contact angle measurement indicated that the addition of sodium silicate caused the largest differences in surface wettability of the three minerals,which was in line with micro-flotation tests.Furthermore,zeta potential test,the Fourier transform infrared(FT-IR)spectroscopy and atomic force microscope(AFM)imaging were used to reveal the inhibition mechanism of sodium silicate.The results indicated that the dominated component SiO(OH)3of sodium silicate could adsorb on minerals surfaces,and the adsorption of sodium silicate hardly affected the adsorption of NaOL on magnesite surface,but caused the reduction of NaOL adsorption on dolomite and calcite surfaces,thereby increasing the flotation selectivity. | Wenqing Qin Junjie Hu Hailing Zhu Fen Jiao Wenhao Jia Junwei Han Chen Chen | 2023 | International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2023,33,1: | 1 |

| 10 | Theoretical analysis on GaAs sub-cell doping concentration for triple-junction solar cells irradiated by proton based on TCAD simulation显示文摘The degradation on the GaInP/GaAs/Ge triple-junction solar cells was irradiated by proton, and the solar cells with various GaAs sub-cell doping concentrations are modeled by the technology computer aided design(TCAD) simulation. The degradation results of related electrical parameters and external quantum efficiency(EQE) are studied. The degradation mechanism irradiated by proton is discussed. The short-circuit current, maximum power and conversion efficiency decrease with the increasing of GaAs sub-cell doping concentration. When the base doping concentration of GaAs sub-cell is 1×1016cm-3, the degradation of short-circuit current is less than that of other base doping concentrations. Furthermore, under proton irradiation, with the increase of doping concentration of GaAs sub-cell, the open-circuit voltage first increases and then decreases. Meanwhile, when the base doping concentration of GaAs sub-cell is 2×10^(17)cm^(-3), the degradation of open-circuit voltage is less than that of other base doping concentrations.
