3Cost-effectiveness analysis of chemotherapy for advancedgastric cancer in China显示文摘AIM: To assess the economics of various chemotherapeutic regimens for advanced gastric cancer (AGC), and to select the best cost-effective regimen for the common Chinese patients. METHODS: Data source used in this study was the Chinese Biomedical Disk Database. Patients were diagnosed as AGC and any regimen was eligible. Outcome measures included median survival time (MST) and percentage of complete and partial response (CR+PR). Economic statistics was per capita direct medical cost (DMC) of a single cycle. TreeAge Pro Healthcare 2007 software was used to carry out cost-effectiveness and incremental cost-effectiveness analysis. Sensitivity analyses were applied by altering willingness-to-pay and annual discount rate, and also re-analyzed by excluding the studies with apparent heterogeneity. RESULTS: Seven retrospective economics studies on 760 patients were included. 5-fluorouracil-based regimens were universal, and also some new agents were involved, such as docetaxel, paclitaxel, and oxaliplatin. By processing analysis, we could recommend etoposide, leucovorin and 5-fluorouracil (ELF) regimen as preference, with a DMC/MST ratio of 2543 RBM/11.7 mo and a DMC/CR+PR ratio of 2543 RMB/53.3%. Uracil-tegafur, etoposide and cisplatin (FEP) or 5-fluorouracil, adrimycin/epirubin and mitomycin (FAM) regimens could be regarded as optional first-line chemotherapy for AGC in common Chinese patients. With no regard for willingness-to-pay, the docetaxel, cisplatin and 5-fluorouracil (DCF) regimen could be chosen as either a first- or a second-line chemotherapy, with a DMC/CR+PR ratio of 9979 RMB/56.3%. CONCLUSION: 5-fluorouracial regimens are still considered the mainstream for AGC, while new agents such as taxanes are optional. 4Abnormal Phenomena Recorded by Several Earthquake Precursor Observation Instruments Before the M_s 8.0 Wenchuan,Sichuan Earthquake显示文摘<正>The paper introduces the anomalies observed by digital tiltmeter,cross-fault deformation meter,4-component borehole strainmeter and geothermometer before May 12,2008,M_s8.0 Wenchuan earthquake,Sichuan.The digital tiltmeter installed in the epicentral region in Shifang County recorded the tilt anomalies 15 days before the earthquake with variation amplitude of 3.7 times larger than the annual deviation of 2007.The cross-fault deformation meter installed at Zimakua station on the Xianshuihe-Anninghe fault zone detected displacement anomaly occurring since 2006 with the variation amplitude exceeding the cumulative value of the last ten years.Five borehole strainmeter stations in the Chongqing section of Three Gorges Reservoir area observed unconventional strain changes occurring in the period from May 1 through 12,2008.Among them,the strainmeter at Wanzhou station recorded the great compression strain rate on the EW component at 14:00 o'clock of May 10,and the anomaly amplitude was so large that the instrument output exceeded its dynamic range,corresponding to a level of~10~4 nanostrains.The geothermometers installed in Xi'an, Chongqing and Xichang recorded the sudden temperature changes from November 2007 to January 2008 with the variation amplitudes several times larger than the ordinary deviation.The above phenomena and the criteria for distinguishing the anomalies from background fluctuations are discussed in this paper.OUYANG Zuxi ZHANG Hongxun FU Zizhong GOU Bo JIANG Wali 2009Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2009,83,4:12
5Wheat straw-derived magnetic carbon foams: In-situ preparation and tunable high-performance microwave absorption显示文摘Recently,biomass-derived three-dimensional (3D) porous carbon materials have been gaining more interest as promising microwave absorbers due to their low cost,vast availability,and sustainability.Here,a novel 3D interconnected porous magnetic carbon foams are in-situ synthesized via a combination of sol-gel and carbonization process with wheat straw as the carbon source and FeCl3·6H2O as the magnetic regulating agent.During the process of foams formation,the lignocelluloses from the steam-exploded wheat straw are converted into interconnected carbon sheet networks with hierarchical porous structures,and the precursor FeCl3·6H2O is converted into magnetic nanoparticles uniformly embedded in the porous carbon foams.The generated magnetic nanoparticles are benefit to enhance the interface polarization and magnetic loss ability to improve the efficient complementarities between the dielectric and magnetic loss,thus increasing the impedance matching.The obtained sample treated at 600 ℃ displays the best microwave absorption (MA) performance.It presents a minimal reflection loss (RL) of-43.6 dB at 7.1 GHz and the effective bandwidth (RL <-10 dB) is 3.3 GHz with the thickness of 4.7 mm.The 3D porous structure,multi-interfaces and the synergy of dielectric loss and magnetic loss make great contribution to the outstanding MA performance.Guangjun Gou Fanbin Meng Huagao Wang Man Jiang Wei Wei Zuowan Zhou 2019Nano Research2019,12,6:9

7Generation of electricity from CO_2 mineralization: Principle and realization显示文摘Current CO2 reduction and utilization technologies suffer from high energy consuming. Thus, an energy favourable route is in urgent demanding. CO2 mineralization is theoretically an energy releasing process for CO2 reduction and utilization, but an approach to recovery this energy has so far remained elusive. For the first time, here we proposed the principle of harvesting electrical energy directly from CO2 mineralization, and realized an energy output strategy for CO2 utilization and reduction via a CO2-mineralization fuel cell(CMFC) system. In this system CO2 and industrial alkaline wastes were used as feedstock, and industrial valuable Na HCO3 was produced concomitantly during the electricity generation. The highest power density of this system reached 5.5 W/m2, higher than many microbial fuel cells. The maximum open circuit voltage reached 0.452 V. Moreover, this system was demonstrated viable to low concentration CO2(10%) and other carbonation process. 8Effect and safety of press-needle on chronic heart failure显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the effect and safety of the press-needle on chronic heart failure.METHODS: According to the inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria, we screened 60 inpatients with chronic heart failure, from the Department of Cardiology in the Traditional Chinese Medicine Affiliated Hospital of Southwest Medical University, 60 cases were randomly divided into treatment group(n =30) and control group(n = 30) in accordance with the random number table. The control group received standard Western Medicine treatment(according to the Chinese guidelines for the diagnosis and treatment of heart failure 2014 and patients' condition). The treatment group received the press-needle treatment on the basis of standard Western Medicine treatment, both treated for3 months. Observing the 6 min walking distance(6 MWD), the score of Minnesota living with heart failure questionnaire(MLHFQ), N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide(NT-pro BNP), angiotensin Ⅱ(AngⅡ), left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF) before and after treatment.RESULTS:No statistical differences were found between control group and treatment group at baseline. Through self-matching test before and after treatment, the observation indexes were improved(P < 0.05). When compared with control group,6 MWD increased, the MLHFQ, NT-pro BNP, Ang Ⅱdecreased in treatment group, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05). 9Guanxin Danshen Dripping Pills Improve Quality of Life and Cardiovascular Prognoses of CHD Patients after PCI with Anxiety or Depression(GLAD Study):A Randomized Double-Blind Placebo-Controlled Study显示文摘Objective:To assess the efficacy and safety of Guanxin Danshen Dripping Pills(GXDS)in the treatment of depression or anxiety in patients with coronary heart disease(CHD)after percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI).Methods:From September 2017 to June 2019,200 CHD patients after PCI with depression and anxiety were included and randomly divided into GXDS(100 cases)and placebo control groups(100 cases)by block randomization and a random number table.Patients in the GXDS and control groups were given GXDS and placebo,respectively,0.4 g each time,3 times daily for 12 weeks.The primary outcomes were scores of Patient Health Questionnaire-9(PHQ-9),Generalized Anxiety Scale(GAD-7)and the Seattle Angina Pectoris Scale(SAQ).The secondary outcomes included 12 Health Survey Summary Form(SF-12)scores and the first onset time and incidence of major adverse cardiovascular events(MACEs).Other indices including blood pressure,blood lipids,microcirculation and inflammatory-related indices,etc.were monitored at baseline,week 4,and week 12.Results:In the full analysis set(200 cases),after treatment,the PHQ-9 and GAD-7 scores in the GXDS group were considerably lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).Compared with the baseline,the total PHQ-9 scores of the experimental and control groups decreased by 3.97 and 1.18,respectively.The corrected mean difference between the two groups was–2.78(95%CI:–3.47,–2.10;P<0.001).The total GAD-7 score in the GXDS group decreased by 3.48%compared with the baseline level,while that of the placebo group decreased by 1.13%.The corrected mean difference between the two groups was–2.35(95%CI:–2.95,–1.76;P<0.001).The degree of improvement in SAQ score,SF-12 score,endothelin and high-sensitive C-reactive protein levels in the GXDS group were substantially superior than those in the placebo group,and the differences between the two groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).Similar results were obtained in the per protocol population analysis of 177 patients.Three cases of MACES were reported in this study(1 in the GXDS group and 2 in the placebo group),and no serious adverse events occurred.Conclusions:GXDS can significantly alleviate depression and anxiety,relieve symptoms of angina,and improve quality of life in patients with CHD after PCI.(Registration No.ChiCTR1800014291)WANG Cheng-long HUAN Na WANG Pei-li GENG Qing-shan MA Wen-lin MA Li-hong JIANG Hong-yan MENG Xiao-ping ZHANG Da-wu GOU Xiao-jiang HU Da-yi CHEN Ke-ji 2023Chinese Journal of Integrative Medicine2023,29,3:3

11Tough Double Metal-ion Cross-linked Elastomers with Temperature-adaptable Self-healing and Luminescence Properties显示文摘Smart materials with a combination of tough solid-like properties,fast self-healing and optical responsiveness are of interests for the development of new soft machines and wearable electronics.In this work,tough physically cross-linked elastomers that show high mechanical strength,intriguing temperature-adaptable self-healing and fluorochromic response properties are designed using aluminum(Al)and fluorescent europium(Eu)ions as cross-linkers.The ionic Al-COOH binding is incorporated to construct the strong polymer network which mainly contributes to the mechanical robustness of the elastomer consisting of two interpenetrated networks.The Eu-iminodiacetate(IDA)coordination is mainly used to build the weaker but more dynamic network which dominate the elasticity,self-healing and luminescence of the elastomer.Moderate Eu^(3+) and Al^(3+) contents give these supramolecular elastomers high toughness.The temperature-sensitive Eu-IDA coordination enables tunable self-healing rate and efficiency along with fast Eu-centered'ON/OFF'switchable red emission.The mechanical,self-healing and luminescence properties of these elastomers can be adjusted by tuning the ratio of the two types of metal ions.This elastomer is potentially applicable for biosensors,wearable optoelectronics and anticounterfeiting materials.Qi-Yan Yin Cheng-Hao Dai Huan Chen Kai Gou Hong-Zhou Guan Peng-Han Wang Jing-Tao Jiang Geng-Sheng Weng 2021Chinese Journal of Polymer Science2021,39,5:3
