| 1 | Characterization of miRNomes in Acute and Chronic Myeloid Leukemia Cell Lines显示文摘Myeloid leukemias are highly diverse diseases and have been shown to be associated with microRNA(miRNA) expression aberrations. The present study involved an in-depth miRNome analysis of two human acute myeloid leukemia(AML) cell lines, HL-60 and THP-1, and one human chronic myeloid leukemia(CML) cell line, K562, via massively parallel signature sequencing. mRNA expression profiles of these cell lines that were established previously in our lab facilitated an integrative analysis of miRNA and mRNA expression patterns. miRNA expression profiling followed by differential expression analysis and target prediction suggested numerous miRNA signatures in AML and CML cell lines. Some miRNAs may act as either tumor suppressors or oncomiRs in AML and CML by targeting key genes in AML and CML pathways. Expression patterns of cell type-specific miRNAs could partially reflect the characteristics of K562, HL-60 and THP-1 cell lines, such as actin filament-based processes, responsiveness to stimulus and phagocytic activity. miRNAs may also regulate myeloid differentiation, since they usually suppress differentiation regulators. Our study provides a resource to further investigate the employment of miRNAs in human leukemia subtyping, leukemogenesis and myeloid development. | 2 | Research into comprehensive gas extraction technology of single coal seams with low permeability in the Jiaozuo coal mining area显示文摘For a low permeability single coal seam prone to gas outbursts,pre-drainage of gas is difficult and inefficient,seriously restricting the safety and efficiency of production.Radical measures of increasing gas extraction efficiency are pressure relief and infrared antirefiection.We have analyzed the effect of mining conditions and the regularity of mine pressure distribution in front of the working face of a major coal mine of the Jiaozuo Industrial(Group) Co.as our test area,studied the width of the depressurization zone in slice mining and analyzed gas efficiency and fast drainage in the advanced stress relaxation zone.On that basis,we further investigated and practiced the exploitation technology of shallow drilling,fan drilling and grid shape drilling at the working face.Practice and our results show that the stress relaxation zone is the ideal region for quick and efflcient extraction of gas.By means of an integrated extraction technology,the amount of gas emitted into the zone was greatly reduced,while the risk of dangerous outbursts of coal and gas was lowered markedly.This exploration provides a new way to control for gas in working faces of coal mines with low permeability and risk of gas outbursts of single coal seams in the Jiaozuo mining area. | Fu Jiangwei Fu Xuehai Hu Xiao Chen Li Ou Jianchun | 2011 | Mining Science and Technology2011,21,4: | 5 |
| 3 | Identification of Nonstructural Protein 8 as the N-Terminus of the RNA-Dependent RNA Polymerase of Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome Virus显示文摘Porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus (PRRSV) is a member within the family Arteriviridae of the order Nidovirales. Replication of this positive-stranded RNA virus within the host cell involves expression of viral replicase proteins encoded by two ORFs, namely ORF1 a and ORF1 b. In particular, translation of ORF1 b depends on a-1-ribosomal frameshift strategy. Thus, nonstructural protein 9 (nsp9), the first protein within ORF1 b that specifies the function of the viral RNA-dependent RNA polymerase, is expressed as the C-terminal extension of nsp8, a small nsp that is encoded by ORF1 a. However, it has remained unclear whether the mature form of nsp9 in virus-infected cells still retains nsp8,addressing which is clearly critical to understand the biological function of nsp9. By taking advantage of specific antibodies to both nsp8 and nsp9, we report the following findings. (1) In infected cells, PRRSV nsp9 was identified as a major product with a size between 72 and 95 k Da (72–95 KDa form), which exhibited the similar mobility on the gel to the in vitro expressed nsp8–9 ORF1 b, but not the ORF1 b-coded portion (nsp9 ORF1 b). (2) The antibodies to nsp8, but not to nsp7 or nsp10, could detect a major product that had the similar mobility to the 72–95 KDa form of nsp9. Moreover, nsp9 could be co-immunoprecipitated by antibodies to nsp8, and vice versa. (3) Neither nsp4 nor nsp2 PLP2 was able to cleave nsp8–nsp9 in vitro. | 4 | Effects of cannabinoid receptor type 2 on endogenous myocardial regeneration by activating cardiac progenitor cells in mouse infarcted heart显示文摘Cannabinoid receptor type 2(CB2)activation is recently reported to promote proliferation of some types of resident stem cells(e.g.,hematopoietic stem/progenitor cell or neural progenitor cell).Resident cardiac progenitor cell(CPC)activation and proliferation are crucial for endogenous cardiac regeneration and cardiac repair after myocardial infarction(MI).This study aims to explore the role and possible mechanisms of CB2receptor activation in enhancing myocardial repair.Our results revealed that CB2receptor agonist AM1241 can significantly increase CPCs by c-kit and Runx1 staining in ischemic myocardium as well as improve cardiomyocyte proliferation.AM1241 also decreased serum levels of MDA,TNF-αand IL-6 after MI.In addition,AM1241 can ameliorate left ventricular ejection fraction and fractional shortening,and reduce fibrosis.Moreover,AM1241 treatment markedly increased p-Akt and HO-1 expression,and promoted Nrf-2 nuclear translocation.However,PI3K inhibitor wortmannin eliminated these cardioprotective roles of AM1241.In conclusion,AM1241 could induce myocardial regeneration and improve cardiac function,which might be associated with PI3K/Akt/Nrf2 signaling pathway activation.Our findings may provide a promising strategy for cardiac endogenous regeneration after MI. | WANG YaBin MA Sai WANG Qiang HU WenXing WANG DongJuan LI XiuJuan SU Tao QIN Xing ZHANG XiaoTian MA Ke CHEN JiangWei XIONG LiZe CAO Feng | 2014 | Science China(Life Sciences)2014,57,2: | 3 |

| 6 | Fine-tuning of Pd-Rh core-shell catalysts by interstitial hydrogen doping for enhanced methanol oxidation显示文摘Metal catalysts play an important role in the catalytic electrochemical processes and optimization of their performance is usually achieved through alloying with other metal atoms.Doping with interstitial hydrogen atoms is a special but effective way to regulate the electronic structure of host catalysts.Herein we demonstrate the intermixing of Pd and Rh atoms during the hydrogen-doping process of Pd@Rh core-shell nanocubes,forming an alloyed surface in Pd@Rh-H.The catalysts show enhanced performance in electrocatalytic methanol oxidation,as compared to commercial Pt/C and are even better than PdH@Rh core-shell nanocubes.The small structural differences between the two hydride catalysts are revealed by X-ray electron spectroscopy and pair distribution function analysis of electron diffraction.The theoretical calculation results show that Rh in Pd@Rh-H contains more negative charges than Rh in PdH@Rh,indicating more effective charge transfer in Pd@Rh-H.The d-band center(£d)of the Rh site in Pd@Rh-H shifts up,and the synergy between Rh and Pd optimizes the binding energy of CO and OH,inducing preferential catalytic activity.Our work provides guidance for the synthesis of high-performance catalysts by doping with interstitial atoms,which may provide a new strategy to fine-tune the electronic structure of other bimetallic nanoparticles. | Xiaoyun Guo Zheng Hu Jianxin Lv Hui Li Qinghua Zhang Lin Gu Wei Zhou Jiangwei Zhang Shi Hu | 2022 | Nano Research2022,15,2: | 1 |

| 8 | Moirépatterns arising from bilayer graphone/graphene superlattice显示文摘Moirépatterns from two-dimensional(2D)graphene heterostructures assembled via van der Waals interactions have sparked considerable interests in physics with the purpose to tailor the electronic properties of graphene.Here we report for the first time the observation of moire patterns arising from a bilayer graphone/graphene superlattice produced through direct single-sided hydrogenation of a bilayer graphene on substrate.Compared to pristine graphene,the bilayer superlattice exhibits a rippled surface and two types of moire patterns are observed:triangular and linear moire patterns with the periodicities of 11 nm and 8-9 nm,respectively.These moire patterns are revealed from atomic force microscopy and further confirmed by following fast Fourier transform(FFT)analysis.Density functional theory(DFT)calculations are also performed and the optimized lattice constants of bilayer superlattice heterostructure are in line with our experimental analysis.These findings show that well-defined triangular and linear periodic potentials can be introduced into the graphene system through the single-sided hydrogenation and also open a route towards the tailoring of electronic properties of graphene by various moirépotentials. | Hu Li Raffaello Papadakis Tanveer Hussain Amir Karton Jiangwei Liu | 2020 | Nano Research2020,13,4: | 1 |

| 14 | Identification and characterization of blocking nanobodies against human CD70显示文摘CD70 is overexpressed in a variety of solid and hematological tumors and plays a role in tumor proliferation and evasion of immune surveillance.Targeting and blocking its binding to the receptor CD27 have the potential to treat CD70-dependent tumors.To generate novel CD70 blocking agents,we screen a human CD70-immunized camel VHH phage display library and isolate two blocking nanobodies against human CD70 targeting different epitopes.Upon enrichment by three rounds of biopanning,two strategies are employed to identify CD70 blockers.One named affinity selection is used for detecting clones with CD70 binding by conventional PE-ELISA.However,no clone with a blocking effect is obtained from 188 enriched clones by this method.The alternative strategy named competitive selection is based on the inhibiting capacity of CD70-CD27 binding by enriched VHHs.By this method,two clones,Nb-2B3 and Nb-3B6,with strong blocking capacity are obtained from 20 enriched VHHs,suggesting the efficiency of this strategy.Furthermore,Nb-2B3 and Nb-3B6 specifically bind to CD70-positive SKOV3 and Raji cells at low concentrations.Meanwhile,Nb-2B3 has no competitive effect on the binding of Nb-3B6 to CD70,and vice versa,indicating that they target two different epitopes on CD70.Our data show that nanobodies Nb-2B3 and Nb-3B6 are potential attractive theranostic agents for CD70-expressing cancers. | Xin Zhang Chang Liu Yuan Xie Qianqian Hu Yuanyuan Chen Jiangwei Li | 2022 | Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2022,54,10: | 0 |
| 15 | Centrifuge modeling of tunneling-induced ground surface settlement in sand显示文摘Stress changes in the soil induced by tunnel excavation may cause excessive ground settlement.However,high-quality experimental data on ground settlement due to tunnel excavation are limited.In this study,centrifuge tests are conducted to investigate the threedimensional ground surface settlement,considering different intersection angles and cover-to-tunnel diameter ratios.The results indicate that the major influence zone along the longitudinal direction on the ground surface settlement is±1.25D,where D is the tunnel diameter.When the monitoring section is perpendicular to the tunneling direction,the transverse ground settlement due to the tunnel excavation is symmetrical with respect to the tunnel centerline.In contrast,an asymmetric ground settlement profile is observed when the monitoring section intersects the tunneling direction at an angle of 60.Applying a Gaussian curve to fit the ground surface settlement curve,the width parameter,K(i.e.,the distance between the tunnel centerline and the inflection point of the settlement trough to the tunnel burial depth),varies from 0.33 to 0.39.The ground surface settlement induced by twin tunnel excavation can be captured reasonably by superimposing two identical Gaussian curves.When the cover to tunnel diameter ratios(C/D)are 1.5 and 2.7,the maximum ground surface settlements are 0.67%of D and 0.35%of D,respectively.It is clear that the maximum ground surface settlement decreases with an increase in the C/D ratio. | Hu Lu Jiangwei Shi Yu Wang Rong Wang | 2019 | Underground Space2019,4,4: | 0 |
| 16 | Effects of Sc on the vacancy and solute behaviours in aluminium显示文摘Element Sc is a promising candidate for optimizing the high-temperature mechanical properties of Al alloys.In this study,the Sc-solute,Al_(3) Sc-vacancy and Al_(3) Sc-solute interactions in aluminium are inves-tigated extensively by using first-principles calculations.The correlation between the various interaction energies and the solute atomic size,and the Sc-solute compound formation energy has been evaluated.A negative correlation between the first nearest neighbour Sc-solute binding energies and the lowest Sc-solute compound formation energies has been identified,while the second nearest neighbour Sc-solute binding energies increase monotonically with the solute atomic size.Al_(3) Sc precipitates can bind vacancy strongly at the specific atomic site,but their relatively low number density limits their influence on va-cancy behaviours during the ageing period shortly after quenching.Compared to the atomic size,the trend for solute segregating at the interface between Al_(3) Sc precipitate and Al bulk is more strongly re-lated to the Sc-solute binding energy.The calculated results can clarify the available experimental obser-vations for Al-Sc,Al-Cu,Al-Mg-Si and Al-Zn-Mg-Cu alloys,and it is hoped to guide the design of high-performance Al alloys. | Xingpu Zhang Liangliang Xu Wenxin Hu Haofei Zhou Jiangwei Wang | 2023 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,17: | 0 |

| 18 | Evolution of precipitate and precipitate/matrix interface in Al-Zn-Mg-Cu(-Ag)alloys显示文摘Evolution of precipitate and precipitate/matrix interface in artificially aged Al-Zn-Mg-Cu(-Ag)alloys has been systematically studied.In the early stage of ageing,Ag,as a fast diffuser,can promote the formation of solute pairs and small clusters.Solute clusters are further demonstrated to be able to act as precursors forη’precipitates by in-situ STEM heating.With prolonged ageing time,the precipitate/matrix interface evolves from the Zn-dominated interface between early-stageη’and Al matrix to the Zn and Mg co-segregatedη’/Al andη_(2)/Al interfaces.Theη’/Al interfacial layers are shown to precede the formation ofη’,while theη_(2)/Al interfaces are found to be closely related to the thickening process ofη_(2)and the involved particular atomic movements are specified.Experimental observations and DFT calculations re-veal that forη’andη_(2),Ag can dissolve into the precipitate as well as locate at the precipitate/matrix interface without showing preference.For Cu,its dissolution in the precipitate and segregation on the interface mainly occur forη_(2)rather thanη’.The incorporation of Ag and Cu does not change the defined precipitate structure. | Xingpu Zhang Zhongkang Han Liangliang Xu Haohan Ni Xiaojuan Hu Haofei Zhou Yu Zou Jiangwei Wang | 2023 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,7: | 0 |
