1Ultrafast epitaxial growth of metre-sized single-crystal graphene on industrial Cu foil显示文摘A foundation of the modern technology that uses single-crystal silicon has been the growth of highquality single-crystal Si ingots with diameters up to 12 inches or larger. For many applications of graphene, large-area high-quality(ideally of single-crystal) material will be enabling. Since the first growth on copper foil a decade ago, inch-sized single-crystal graphene has been achieved. We present here the growth, in 20 min, of a graphene film of(5 ×50) cm^2 dimension with >99% ultra-highly oriented grains.This growth was achieved by:(1) synthesis of metre-sized single-crystal Cu(1 1 1) foil as substrate;(2)epitaxial growth of graphene islands on the Cu(1 1 1) surface;(3) seamless merging of such graphene islands into a graphene film with high single crystallinity and(4) the ultrafast growth of graphene film.These achievements were realized by a temperature-gradient-driven annealing technique to produce single-crystal Cu(1 1 1) from industrial polycrystalline Cu foil and the marvellous effects of a continuous oxygen supply from an adjacent oxide. The as-synthesized graphene film, with very few misoriented grains(if any), has a mobility up to ~23,000 cm^2 V^(-1)s^(-1)at 4 K and room temperature sheet resistance of ~230 Ω/□. 2A draft sequence of the rice (Oryza sativa ssp. indica) genome显示文摘The sequence of the rice genome holds fundamental information for its biology, including physiology, genetics, development, and evolution, as well as information on many beneficial phenotypes of economic significance. Using a 'whole genome shotgun' approach, we have pro-duced a draft rice genome sequence of Oryza sativa ssp. in-dica, the major crop rice subspecies in China and many other regions of Asia. The draft genome sequence is constructed from over 4.3 million successful sequencing traces with an accumulative total length of 2214.9 Mb. The initial assembly of the non-redundant sequences reached 409.76 Mb in length, based on 3.30 million successful sequencing traces with a total length of 1797.4 Mb from an indica variant cultivar 93-11, giving an estimated coverage of 95.29% of the rice genome with an average base accuracy of higher than 99%. 3Experimental Research on the Dynamic Lubricating Performance of Slipper/Swash Plate Interface in Axial Piston Pumps显示文摘The interface between the slipper/swash plate is one of the most important frication pairs in axial piston pumps.The test of this interface in a real pump is very challenging.In this paper,a novel pump prototype is designed and a test rig is set up to study the dynamic lubricating performance of the slipper/swash-plate interface in axial piston machines.Such an experimental setup can simulate the operating condition of a real axial piston pump without changing the relative motion relationship of the interfaces.Considering the lubricant oil film thickness as the main measurement parameter,the attitude of the slipper under the conditions of different load pressure,rotation speed and charge pressure are studied experimentally.After the test,the wear state of the swash plate is observed.According to the friction trace on the surface of the swash plate,the prediction for the attitude of the slipper and the zone easy to wear are verified.Junjie Zhou Jichen Zhou Chongbo Jing 2020Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2020,33,2:5
4Experimental Study of Churning Losses in Swash Plate Axial Piston Pump显示文摘The problem of the churning loss in swash plate axial piston machines is investigated through experimental measurement and theoretical analysis. Several works surrounding churning loss in hydraulic components have been proposed in the past, but few have conducted experimental studies and accounted for both dry and wet housing conditions. In this study,a specialized experimental setup is established, which includes a transparent test pump diligently designed for performing various functions of tests. The test pump can work as a real pump without losing any actual features of pump operation. The torque loss in both the dry housing pump and wet housing pump is measured in terms of the shaft speed and its predictive model is also developed analytically. The comparisons between measured and calculated torque loss are presented, showing how speed influences torque loss in both conditions. The advantage/disadvantages of the two cases are summarized. 5Dynamic Characteristics of Lubrication and Wear Prediction of Slipper/Swash-Plate in Axial Piston Pumps显示文摘A novel dynamic model describing the slipper posture of the swash plate in axial piston pumps is proposed, taking into account the hydrodynamic and squeezing effects, which involves three degrees of freedom. The variation in the lubricating film thickness and the slipper tilt are accurately calculated. The influence of hydrodynamic effects and charging pressure on the slipper lubrication is discussed. The minimum film thickness, the overturning angle and the azimuth angle are obtained.Then, the trajectory of minimum thickness on the friction surface of the swash plate is predicted, the accuracy of which can be verified with the abrasion distribution of an actual swash plate. 7Caffeic acid 3,4-dihydroxyphenethyl ester prevents colorectal cancer through inhibition of multiple cancer-promoting signal pathways in 1,2-Dimethylhydrazine/dextran sodium sulphate mouse model显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To elucidate the potential feature and mechanism of the caffeic acid 3,4-dihydroxyphenethyl ester(CADPE)molecule,which can prevent colorectal cancer(CRC)in the 1,2-Dimethylhydrazine(DMH)/dextran sodium sulphate(DSS)-induced mouse model.METHODS:Institute of cancer research(ICR)male mice were injected with 20 mg/kg DMH for a week.After that,2%DSS was administered in the drinking water for another 7 d.The CADPE treatment was given to the DMH/DSS induced male mice at three different periods until their sacrifice.Histopathological examination was used for observing the CRC development at colonic mucosa.Immunohistochemistry(IHC),blood cells smearing and crypt damage scoring methods were used for investigating the anti-inflammation feature of CADPE related to CRC.The reversing targets searching method was applied with artificial intelligence(AI),computeraided drug designing(CADD)and Ingenuity Pathway Analysis(IPA)techniques for predicting the potential targets and mechanism of CADPE highly related to CRC.RESULTS:The data indicated that CADPE inhibited CRC tumor development in the colitis-associated DMH/DSS induced mouse model after giving the early treatment.CADPE also impeded the acute inflammation by decreasing the infiltration of neutrophils significantly during the initial stage of CRC development.Finally,our data showed that CADPE prevented CRC by blocking active sites of three pivotal protein targets including epidermal growth factor receptor(EGFR),extracellular signal-regulated kinase(ERK)and mammalian target of rapamycin(m TOR)in two major cancer development pathways.CONCLUSIONS:CADPE effectively prevented CRC at early stage of tumor germination in the DMH/DSS mouse model highly likely due to its anti-acute inflammation characteristic and the ability of blocking EGFR,ERK and m TOR activities in two highly related CRC developing pathways.JIN Tao ZHOU Qian SHEN Jichen ZHANG Zhizhong LIAN Xiaoyuan 2024Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2024,44,1:0
8Genetic characterizations and molecular epidemiology of human echovirus 30 isolated from Ningxia,China显示文摘In October 2017,a small outbreak of echovirus 30(E30)associated with aseptic meningitis in nine cases occurred at a primary school in the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region.That year,we observed a significant increase in E30 levels in an acute flaccid paralysis(AFP)case surveillance system.To investigate their phylogenetic relationships,we determined the whole genomic sequences of 12 strains isolated from aseptic meningitis cases,AFP cases,and healthy children.We found that the E30 strains circulating in Ningxia belong to two lineages(H and J).The strains isolated in 2010,2012,and 2016 belonged to the H lineage.In 2017,a new lineage,J,emerged as the dominant lineage.Phylogenetic trees were constructed based on the whole genome andP1,P2,andP3 regions;clustering with other types of enterovirus species B was found,suggesting that recombination events had occurred.The recombination sites were mainly in regions2B,2C,and3D.This study confirmed that the E30 strains in Ningxia in 2010,2012,and 2016 had different recombination patterns and were recombined with different enteroviruses.The 2017 epidemic E30 originated from another new lineage with a complex recombination pattern and formed an independent transmission chain in Ningxia.Fang Yuan Xinfeng Wei Xueping Ma Jiangtao Ma Xuemin Ma Xiaoqiang Sun Min Cao Juan Zhou Wei Zhang Hui Chen Rui Wang Jichen Li Qiang Sun 2023Biosafety and Health2023,5,6:0
9Spatiotemporal variation and evaluation of agriculture green development: a case study of Hainan Province, China显示文摘The realization of green and sustainable development of agriculture is the common pursuit all over the world. Agriculture green development(AGD)program has been proposed as a sustainable development strategy in China,but insufficient is known about the quantitative evaluation of spatiotemporal variation in AGD at the regional scale. This study aimed to assess spatiotemporal patterns in AGD at the county/city-based regional level. For this purpose, a systematic index evaluation system was developed to assess the performance of socioeconomic, food production and environmental components in a key economic region(Hainan Province) of China. Hainan improved its AGD index(representing the overall performance toward achieving AGD) from 38.8 in 1988 to 40.9 in 2019. The socioeconomic development and agricultural productivity have improved with time;environmental quality declined due to overuse of chemicals from 1988 to 2013, but steadily improved after 2013, indicating positive effects of reducing chemical input. There was a higher AGD index in the coastal vs. central regions and the southern vs. northern regions. Scenarios featuring improved nutrient management or optimized diet structure and reduced waste improved economic benefits and social productivity while concurrently reducing environmental degradation.
