1Effect of Preparation Methods of Bi_2O_3 Nanoparticles on their Photocatalytic Activity显示文摘Bi 2O 3 nanoparticles were prepared by means of ammonia precipitation, polyol mediated methods and microemulsion chemical method. The structure and properties of the as-prepared nanoparticles, having been submitted to a heat-treatment test at 750 ℃, were characterized by means of XRD, BET, XPS and UV-Vis absorption techniques. The photocatalytic oxidation reactions of benzene, toluene and xylene were used as the model reaction to measure the photocatalytic activity of Bi 2O 3 nanoparticles, respectively. The results show that the crystallite size of Bi 2O 3 prepared with different methods and calcined at 750 ℃ were 50.6, 38.5 and 31.5 nm, respectively. The photocatalytic activity of Bi 2O 3 nanoparticles prepared with the microemulsion chemical method was higher than that of the particles prepared with the polyol mediated method; and that of the particles prepared with the micromulsion chemical method was the highest among the three. 2Scalable and ultrafast epitaxial growth of single-crystal graphene wafers for electrically tunable liquid-crystal microlens arrays显示文摘The scalable growth of wafer-sized single-crystal graphene in an energy-efficient manner and compatible with wafer process is critical for the killer applications of graphene in high-performance electronics and optoelectronics. Here, ultrafast epitaxial growth of single-crystal graphene wafers is realized on singlecrystal Cu90Ni10(1 1 1) thin films fabricated by a tailored two-step magnetron sputtering and recrystallization process. The minor nickel(Ni) content greatly enhances the catalytic activity of Cu, rendering the growth of a 4 in. single-crystal monolayer graphene wafer in 10 min on Cu90Ni10(1 1 1), 50 folds faster than graphene growth on Cu(1 1 1). Through the carbon isotope labeling experiments, graphene growth on Cu90Ni10(1 1 1) is proved to be exclusively surface-reaction dominated, which is ascribed to the Cu surface enrichment in the Cu Ni alloy, as indicated by element in-depth profile. One of the best benefits of our protocol is the compatibility with wafer process and excellent scalability. A pilot-scale chemical vapor deposition(CVD) system is designed and built for the mass production of single-crystal graphene wafers, with productivity of 25 pieces in one process cycle. Furthermore, we demonstrate the application of single-crystal graphene in electrically controlled liquid-crystal microlens arrays(LCMLA), which exhibit highly tunable focal lengths near 2 mm under small driving voltages. By integration of the graphene based LCMLA and a CMOS sensor, a prototype camera is proposed that is available for simultaneous light-field and light intensity imaging. 3Hydrothermal synthesis and characterization of rare-earth ruthenate pyrochlore compounds R_2Ru_2O_7(R=Pr_(3+),Sm(3+)-Ho(3+))显示文摘A series of pyrochlore oxides, R2Ru2O7 (R=Pr3+, Sm3+–Ho3+) were synthesized under mild hydrothermal conditions. All the samples crystallize in uniform octahedron characteristically. The products were characterized by powder X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, energy-disperse X-ray spectroscopy, and dc susceptibility, and the factors that affected the crystallization were discussed. It was found that the purity of products depends strongly on the raw materials and the amount of alkalinity in the initial reaction mixtures. 4Strain-rate effect on initial crush stress of irregular honeycomb under dynamic loading and its deformation mechanism显示文摘The seemingly contradictory understandings of the initial crush stress of cellular materials under dynamic loadings exist in the literature, and a comprehensive analysis of this issue is carried out with using direct information of local stress and strain. Local stress/strain calculation methods are applied to determine the initial crush stresses and the strain rates at initial crush from a cell-based finite element model of irregular honeycomb under dynamic loadings. The initial crush stress under constant-velocity compression is identical to the quasi-static one, but less than the one under direct impact, i.e. the initial crush stresses under different dynamic loadings could be very different even though there is no strain-rate effect of matrix material. A power-law relation between the initial crush stress and the strain rate is explored to describe the strain-rate effect on the initial crush stress of irregular honeycomb when the local strain rate exceeds a critical value, below which there is no strain-rate effect of irregular honeycomb. 5Effect of methylmercury on LPO levels, SH groups and activities of GSH-Px, SOD, XOD in liver of rats显示文摘In recent years, lipid peroxidation has been considered as the initial step for foreign toxic substances to damage cells. In this paper, the effects of methylmercury (MeHg) on LPO (lipid peroxide) levels, SH (sulfhydryl) groups and activities of GSH\|Px (glutathione peroxidase), SOD (superoxide dismutase), XOD (xanthine oxidase) in liver of rats treated with doses of MeHg at different intervals were studied by TBA, Ellman Reagent, NBT colorimetric methods and chemilluminescence. Meanwhile, the contents of FR (free radical)and MeHg in the liver of female rats were measured by ESR and GC. Results showed that the LPO levels in the experimental group increased significantly over those of the control group ( p<0.05— p<0.001) , reaching maximum point on the first poisoning day. Both male and female rats showed marked positive dose\|effect relations (Male: Y=261.4±49.4X, r=0.94, p<0.02; Female : Y=255.0±73.0X, r=0.99, p<0.001 ). N-SH (nonprotein sulfhydryl), P\|SH (protein sulfhydryl), T-SH (total sulfhydryl) contents and GSH\|Px activities decreased significantly (p<0.05-p<0.001). For GSH\|Px, both groups reached minimum value on the first poisoning day. In female rats, activities of SOD and XOD increased markedly ( p<0.02-p<0.01 ) although the contents of FR showed no significant changes. 7HSF1 facilitates the multistep process of lymphatic metastasis in bladder cancer via a novel PRMT5-WDR5-dependent transcriptional program显示文摘Background:Lymphatic metastasis has been associated with poor prognosis in bladder cancer patients with limited therapeutic options.Emerging evidence shows that heat shock factor 1(HSF1)drives diversified transcriptome to promote tumor growth and serves as a promising therapeutic target.However,the roles of HSF1 in lymphatic metastasis remain largely unknown.Herein,we aimed to illustrate the clinical roles and mechanisms of HSF1 in the lymphatic metastasis of bladder cancer and explore its therapeutic potential.Methods:We screened the most relevant gene to lymphatic metastasis among overexpressed heat shock factors(HSFs)and heat shock proteins(HSPs),and analyzed its clinical relevance in three cohorts.Functional in vitro and in vivo assays were performed in HSF1-silenced and-regained models.We also used Coimmunoprecipitation to identify the binding proteins of HSF1 and chromatin immunoprecipitation and dual-luciferase reporter assays to investigate the transcriptional program directed by HSF1.The pharmacological inhibitor of HSF1,KRIBB11,was evaluated in popliteal lymph node metastasis models and patientderived xenograft models of bladder cancer.Results:HSF1 expression was positively associated with lymphatic metastasis status,tumor stage,advanced grade,and poor prognosis of bladder cancer.Importantly,HSF1 enhanced the epithelial-mesenchymal transition(EMT)of cancer cells in primary tumor to initiate metastasis,proliferation of cancer cells in lymph nodes,and macrophages infiltration to facilitate multistep lymphatic metastasis.Mechanistically,HSF1 interacted with protein arginine methyltransferase 5(PRMT5)and jointly induced the monomethylation of histone H3 at arginine 2(H3R2me1)and symmetric dimethylation of histone H3 at arginine 2(H3R2me2s).This recruited the WD repeat domain 5(WDR5)/mixed-lineage leukemia(MLL)complex to increase the trimethylation of histone H3 at lysine 4(H3K4me3);resulting in upregulation of lymphoid enhancer-binding factor 1(LEF1),matrix metallopeptidase 9(MMP9),C-C motif chemokine ligand 20(CCL20),and E2F transcription factor 2(E2F2).Application of KRIBB11 significantly inhibited the lymphatic metastasis of bladder cancer with no significant toxicity.Conclusion:Our findings reveal a novel transcriptional program directed by the HSF1-PRMT5-WDR5 axis during the multistep process of lymphatic metastasis in bladder cancer.Targeting HSF1 could be a multipotent and promising therapeutic strategy for bladder cancer patients with lymphatic metastasis.Ming Huang Wen Dong Ruihui Xie Jilin Wu Qiao Su Wuguo Li Kai Yao Yuelong Chen Qianghua Zhou Qiang Zhang Wenwen Li Liang Cheng Shengmeng Peng Siting Chen Jian Huang Xu Chen Tianxin Lin 2022Cancer Communications2022,42,5:2
8STUDY ON CONTACTING MELTING AND ANTI-SKID TECHNOLOGY FOR A TIRE TRACTION ON ICE显示文摘Theoretical analyses and experimental studies of the mechanisms of melting film formation are performed. The results show that frictional heating is the dominant mechanism because temperature behaves in the manner predicted by the theory of frictional heating. A study of the active technology for anti-skid is also made. 12[Cu(en)_2]_(0.5)[Al_3P_3O_(12)(OH)]-aluminophosphate with zeotype AWO:Synthesis,crystal structure and phase transformation显示文摘A new aluminophosphate [Cu(en)2]0.5[Al3P3O12(OH)] (denoted as AlPO-CJ53; en = ethylenediamine) with zeotype AWO topology has been synthesized under hydrothermal conditions in which the self-assembled Cu(en)22+ cations in the reaction system act as the template. AlPO-CJ53 crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P21/n (No. 14) with a = 0.85547(11) nm, b = 1.7671(2) nm, c = 0.90500(12) nm, β= 107.725(2)°, V = 1.3031(3) nm3. Its framework consists of AlO4(OH)/AlO4 and PO4 units forming 8-ring channels along the c direction, where the copper complex cations Cu(en)22+ are located to neutralize the negative charges of the framework. 15Comparison of Photochemical Reactions of m-Cresol in Aqueous Solution and in Ice显示文摘We compared the photochemical reaction of m-cresol containing ·OH precursors such as H2O2, NO2 and NO3 in aqueous solution with those in ice. The results show that the conversion rate of m-cresol in aqueous solution was higher than that in ice. H2O2, NO2 and NO3 all accelerated the photoconversion of m-cresol in both aqueous solution and ice. The photochemical reactions of m-cresol obeys the first order kinetics equation. According to the photoproducts identified by GC-MS, we proposed that hydroxylation and nitration reactions occurred in both aqueous solution and ice. Coupling reaction was common in ice, however, in aqueous solution it was found only in UV system. 18Ultrafast growth of wafer-scale fold-free bilayer graphene显示文摘Bilayer graphene provides a versatile platform for exploring a variety of intriguing phenomena and shows much promise for applications in electronics,optoelectronics,etc.Controlled growth of large-area bilayer graphene is therefore highly desired yet still suffers from a slow growth rate and poor layer uniformity.Meanwhile,graphene wrinkles,including folds and ripples,form during cooling due to the thermal contraction mismatch between graphene and the metal substrates,and have been far from suppressed or eliminated,especially in bilayer graphene,which would greatly degrade the extraordinary properties of graphene.Here we report the ultrafast growth of wafer-scale fold-free bilayer graphene by chemical vapor deposition.Through well-tuning the alloy thickness and strain regulation of the single-crystal CuNi(111)/sapphire,the full coverage of a 2-inch fold-free bilayer graphene wafer via mainly isothermal segregation has been achieved as fast as 30 s.The tensile-strained CuNi(111)film reduces the thermal contraction mismatch and suppresses the formation of graphene folds during cooling,which is directly observed through in situ optical microscopy.The ultraflat bilayer graphene exhibits wafer-scale uniformity in electrical performance and enhanced mechanical property comparable to the exfoliated ones.Our results offer a promising route for largescale production of bilayer graphene and enable its various applications.Jilin Tang Yuechen Wang Yuwei Ma Xiaoyin Gao Xin Gao Ning Li Yani Wang Shishu Zhang Liming Zheng Bing Deng Rui Yan Yisen Cao Ronghua Zhang Lianming Tong Jin Zhang Peng Gao Zhongfan Liu Xiaoding Wei Hongtao Liu Hailin Peng 2023Nano Research2023,16,7:0
19Identification and Expression of PPAR in Sinonovacula constricta and Their Potential Regulatory Effects on Δ6 Fad Transcription显示文摘Peroxisome proliferator activated receptors(PPAR)are kinds of key transcriptional factors in regulating LC-PUFA biosynthesis.Until now,little is known about PPAR in marine molluscs as well as in other invertebrates.Sinonovacula constricta is the first marine mollusc that is proved to possess the complete LC-PUFA biosynthetic pathway,and it can be a perfect representative to clarify this situation.In this study,the molecular properties of S.constricta PPAR were characterized,and corresponding potential regulatory roles in S.constrictaΔ6 fatty acyl desaturase(Fad)transcription were estimated by dual luciferase assay.Results showed that two PPAR homologs(PPAR_a and_b)were identified in S.constricta.They both contain typical features of vertebrate PPAR,suggesting highly conserved functional regions in PPAR.By phylogenetic comparison,they are clearly different with vertebrate PPAR and can be divided into two distinctive sub-groups.Moreover,they show a high expression level in gill,labial palps,mantle and intestine.Their down-regulated expressions in trochophore larva and veliger larva might be attributed to food-deprivation.Additionally,the transcriptional activity of S.constrictaΔ6 Fad promoter was significantly activated by both PPAR_a and_b,indicating that S.constricta PPAR might play a role in the regulation of LC-PUFA biosynthesis.To our knowledge,this is the first systematic analysis of PPAR in a marine mollusc.The results will provide a valuable reference for further researches on the function of marine molluscan PPAR and their underlying mechanisms in regulating LC-PUFA biosynthesis.RAN Zhaoshou KONG Fei LIAO Kai XU Jilin LIU Xingwang SHI Peng ZHANG Mengqi WU Kaibin YAN Xiaojun 2021Journal of Ocean University of China2021,20,6:0
