1Simulation on the dynamics of forest area changes in Northeast China显示文摘There is plenty of forests in Northeast China which contributes a lot to the conservation of water and land resources, produces timber products, and provides habitats for a huge number of wild animals and plants. With changes of socio-economic factors as well as the geophysical conditions, there are dramatic changes on the spatial patterns of forest area. In this sense, it is of great significance to shed light on the dynamics of forest area changes to find the underlining reasons for shaping the changing patterns of forest area in Northeast China. To explore the dynamics of forest area change in Northeast China, an econometric model is developed which is composed of three equations identifying forestry production, conversion from open forest to closed forest and conversion from other land uses to closed forest so as to explore the impacts on the forest area changes from demographic, social, economic, location and geophysical factors. On this basis, we employ the Dynamics of Land System (DLS) model to simulate land-use conversions between forest area and non-forest cover and the land-use conversions within the sub-classes of forest area for the period 2000–2020 under business as usual scenario, environmental protection scenario and economic growth scenario. The simulation results show that forest area will expand continuously and there exist various kinds of changing patterns for the sub-classes of forest area, for example, closed forest will expand continuously and open forest and shrub will decrease a little bit, while area of other forest will keep intact. 3Novel constant-cladding tapered-core ytterbium-doped fiber for high-power fiber laser oscillator显示文摘Power scaling based on traditional ytterbium-doped fibers(YDFs)is limited by optical nonlinear effects and transverse mode instability(TMI)in high-power fiber lasers.Here,we propose a novel long tapered fiber with a constant cladding and tapered core(CCTC)along its axis direction.The tapered-core region of the fiber is designed to enhance the stimulated Raman scattering(SRS)threshold and suppress higher-order mode resonance in the laser cavity.The CCTC YDF was fabricated successfully with a modified chemical vapor deposition(MCVD)method combined with solution doping technology,which has a cladding diameter of 400µm and a varying core with a diameter of~24μm at both ends and~31μm in the middle.To test the performance of the CCTC fiber during high-power operation,an all-fiber laser oscillator based on a CCTC YDF was investigated experimentally.As a result,a maximum output power of 3.42 kW was achieved with an optical-to-optical efficiency of 55.2%,although the TMI effect was observed at an output power of~3.12 kW.The measured beam quality(M^(2)factor)was~1.7,and no sign of the Raman component was observed in the spectrum.We believe that CCTC YDF has great potential to simultaneously mitigate the SRS and TMI effects,and further power scaling is promising by optimizing the structure of the YDF.Yun Ye Xianfeng Lin Xiaoming Xi Chen Shi Baolai Yang Hanwei Zhang Xiaolin Wang Jinyan Li Xiaojun Xu 2021High Power Laser Science and Engineering2021,9,2:5
4Factors and mechanism driving the land-use conversion in Jiangxi Province显示文摘This article explores the factors and mechanism driving the land-use conversion at regional level by developing and using an econometric approach which is called the simultaneous equations model (SEM). A case study in Jiangxi Province of China is conducted by establishing the SEM, which consists of three equations including agricultural production, land conversion of cultivated land to built-up area and land conversion of cultivated land to forest cover/grassland from 1988 to 2005. And then this paper employs the method of piecewise estimation to represent the influences of the factors such as population, society, economy, location and geophysical conditions on the process of land-use conversion in Jiangxi Province. Estimation results show that population is a predominant factor driving the land-use conversion at counties, while social and economic factors are determinant factors in the short term for the entire Jiangxi Province. Specifically, the size of agricultural population and the magnitude of agricultural input determine the agricultural production to a large extent; population size, plain area proportion at counties and land management policies together affect the direction and magnitude of conversion between cultivated land and built-up area; agricultural population proportion, terrain slope, grain production and non-agricultural industry promote the conversion of cultivated land to forest cover/grassland. Furthermore, the explored mechanism also reveals the underlying causes of the land use changes driven by a series of factors in Jiangxi Province. 6Tumor Microenvironment Cascade‑Responsive Nanodrug with Self‑Targeting Activation and ROS Regeneration for Synergistic Oxidation‑Chemotherapy显示文摘Carrier-free nanodrug with exceptionally high drug payload has attracted increasing attentions.Herein,we construct a pH/ROS cascade-responsive nanodrug which could achieve tumor acidity-triggered targeting activation followed by circularly amplified ROS-triggered drug release via positive-feedback loop.The di-selenide-bridged prodrug synthesized from vitamin E succinate and methotrexate(MTX)self-assembles into nanoparticles(VSeM);decorating acidity-cleavable PEG onto VSeM surface temporarily shields the targeting ability of MTX to evade immune clearance and consequently elongate circulation time.Upon reaching tumor sites,acidity-triggered detachment of PEG results in targeting recovery to enhance tumor cell uptake.Afterward,the VSeM could be dissociated in response to intracellular ROS to trigger VES/MTX release;then the released VES could produce extra ROS to accelerate the collapse of VSeM.Finally,the excessive ROS produced from VES could synergize with the released MTX to efficiently suppress tumor growth via orchestrated oxidation-chemotherapy.Our study provides a novel strategy to engineer cascade-responsive nanodrug for synergistic cancer treatment.Yang Li Jinyan Lin Peiyuan Wang Qiang Luo Fukai Zhu Yun Zhang Zhenqing Hou Xiaolong Liu Jingfeng Liu 2020Nano-Micro Letters2020,12,12:2
7Effective suppression of the photodarkening effect in high-power Yb-doped fiber amplifiers by H2 loading显示文摘The radical suppression of the photodarkening effect and laser performance deterioration via H2 loading were demonstrated in high-power Yb-doped fiber(YDF)amplifiers.The photodarkening loss at equilibrium was114.4 d B/m at 702 nm in the pristine fiber,while it vanished in the H2-loaded fiber.To obtain a deeper understanding of the impact of photodarkening on laser properties,the evolution of the mode instability threshold and output power in fiber amplifiers was investigated.After pumping for 300 min,the mode instability threshold of the pristine fiber dropped from 770 to 612 W,and the periodic fluctuation of the output power became intense,finally reaching 100 W.To address the detrimental effects originating from photodarkening,H2 loading was applied in contrast experiments.The output power remained stable,and no sign of mode instability was observed in the H2-loaded fiber.Moreover,the transmittance at 638 nm confirmed the absence of the photodarkening effect.The results pave the way for the further development of high-power fiber lasers.RUITING CAO GUI CHEN YISHA CHEN ZHILUN ZHANG XIANFENG LIN BIN DAI LUYUN YANG JINYAN LI 2020Photonics Research2020,8,3:2

14Motor network reorganization in stroke patients with dyskinesias during a shoulder-touching task:A fNIRS study显示文摘Hemiplegia after stroke has become a major cause of the world's high disabilities,and it is vital to enhance our understanding of post-stroke neuroplasticity to develop e±cient rehabilitation programs.This study aimed to explore the brain activation and network reorganization of the motor cortex(MC)with functional near-infrared spectroscopy(fNIRS).The MC hemodynamic signals were gained from 22 stroke patients and 14 healthy subjects during a shoulder-touching task with the right hand.The MC activation pattern and network attributes analyzed with the graph theory were compared between the two groups.The results revealed that healthy controls presented dominant activation in the left MC while stroke patients exhibited dominant activation in the bilateral hemispheres MC.The MC networks for the two groups had small-world properties.Compared with healthy controls,patients had higher transitivity and lower global e±ciency(GE),mean connectivity,and long connections(LCs)in the left MC.In addition,both MC activation and network attributes were correlated with patient's upper limb motor function.The results showed the stronger compensation of the unaffected motor area,the better recovery of the upper limb motor function for patients.Moreover,the MC network possessed high clustering and relatively sparse inter-regional connections during recovery for patients.Our results promote the understanding of MC reorganization during recovery and indicate that MC activation and network could provide clinical assessment signi¯cance in stroke patients.Given the advantages of fNIRS,it shows great application potential in the assessment and rehabilitation of motor function after stroke.Yizheng Zhang Dan Wang Dongyang Wang Kecheng Yan Li Yi Shuoshu Lin Guangjian Shao Zhiyong Shao Jinyan Sun Aoran Yang 2023Journal of Innovative Optical Health Sciences2023,16,6:1
15A systematic survey of LU domain-containing proteins reveals a novel human gene,LY6A,which encodes the candidate ortholog of mouse Ly-6A/Sca-1 and is aberrantly expressed in pituitary tumors显示文摘The Ly-6 and uPAR(LU)domain-containing proteins represent a large family of cell-surface markers.In particular,mouse Ly-6A/Sca-1 is a widely used marker for various stem cells;however,its human ortholog is missing.In this study,based on a systematic survey and comparative genomic study of mouse and human LU domain-containing proteins,we identified a previously unannotated human gene encoding the candidate ortholog of mouse Ly-6A/Sca-1.This gene,hereby named LY6A,reversely overlaps with a lncRNA gene in the majority of exonic sequences.We found that LY6A is aberrantly expressed in pituitary tumors,but not in normal pituitary tissues,and may contribute to tumorigenesis.Similar to mouse Ly-6A/Sca-1,human LY6A is also upregulated by interferon,suggesting a conserved transcriptional regulatory mechanism between humans and mice.We cloned the full-length LY6A cDNA,whose encoded protein sequence,domain architecture,and exon‒intron structures are all well conserved with mouse Ly-6A/Sca-1.Ectopic expression of the LY6A protein in cells demonstrates that it acts the same as mouse Ly-6A/Sca-1 in their processing and glycosylphosphatidylinositol anchoring to the cell membrane.Collectively,these studies unveil a novel human gene encoding a candidate biomarker and provide an interesting model gene for studying gene regulatory and evolutionary mechanisms.Dan Liu Chunhui Xu Yanting Liu Wen Ouyang Shaojian Lin Aining Xu Yuanliang Zhang Yinyin Xie Qiuhua Huang Weili Zhao Zhu Chen Lan Wang Saijuan Chen Jinyan Huang Zhe Bao Wu Xiaojian Sun 2023Frontiers of Medicine2023,17,3:0
16Predict the evolution of mechanical property of Al-Li alloys in a marine environment显示文摘The ocean is one of the essential fields of national defense in the future,and more and more attention is paid to the lightweight research of Marine equipment and materials.This study it is to develop a Machine learning(ML)-based prediction method to study the evolution of the mechanical properties of Al-Li alloys in the marine environment.We obtained the mechanical properties of Al-Li alloy samples under uniaxial tensile deformation at different exposure times through Marine exposure experiments.We obtained the strain evolution by digital image correlation(DIC).The strain field images are voxelized using 2D-Convolutional Neural Networks(CNN)autoencoders as input data for Long Short-Term Memory(LSTM)neural networks.Then,the output data of LSTM neural networks combined with corrosion features were input into the Back Propagation(BP)neural network to predict the mechanical properties of Al-Li alloys.The main conclusions are as follows:1.The variation law of mechanical properties of2297-T8 in the Marine atmosphere is revealed.With the increase in outdoor exposure test time,the tensile elastic model of 2297-T8 changes slowly,within 10%,and the tensile yield stress changes significantly,with a maximum attenuation of 23.6%.2.The prediction model can predict the strain evolution and mechanical response simultaneously with an error of less than 5%.3.This study shows that a CNN/LSTM system based on machine learning can be built to capture the corrosion characteristics of Marine exposure experiments.The results show that the relationship between corrosion characteristics and mechanical response can be predicted without considering the microstructure evolution of metal materials.Wei Li Lin Xiang Guang Wu Hongli Si Jinyan Chen Yiming Jin Yan Su Jianquan Tao Chunyang Huang 2024Defence Technology(防务技术)2024,31,1:0
17Tuning desolvation kinetics of in-situ weakly solvating polyacetal electrolytes for dendrite-free lithium metal batteries显示文摘The host structure of polymers significantly influences ion transport and interfacial stability of electrolytes,dictating battery cycle life and safety for solid-state lithium metal batteries.Despite promising properties of ethylene oxide-based electrolytes,their typical clamp-like coordination geometry leads to crowd solvation sheath and overly strong interactions between Li^(+)and electrolytes,rendering difficult dissociation of Li+and unfavorable solid electrolyte interface(SEI).Herein,we explore weakly solvating characteristics of polyacetal electrolytes owing to their alternately changing intervals between–O–coordinating sites in the main chain.Such structural asymmetry leads to unique distorted helical solvation sheath,and can effectively reduce Li^(+)-electrolyte binding and tune Li^(+)desolvation kinetics in the insitu formed polymer electrolytes,yielding anion-derived SEI and dendrite-free Li electrodeposition.Combining with photoinitiated cationic ring-opening polymerization,polyacetal electrolytes can be instantly formed within 5 min at the surface of electrode,with high segmental chain motion and well adapted interfaces.Such in-situ polyacetal electrolytes enabled more than 1300-h of stable lithium electrodeposition and prolonged cyclability over 200 cycles in solid-state batteries at ambient temperatures,demonstrating the vital role of molecular structure in changing solvating behavior and Li deposition stability for high-performance electrolytes.Peng Wen Yimin Liu Jinyan Mao Xiaotong Liu Weiping Li Yang Ren Yang Zhou Fei Shao Mao Chen Jun Lin Xinrong Lin 2023Journal of Energy Chemistry2023,,4:0
18Evaluating the performance of genomic selection on purebred population by incorporating crossbred data in pigs显示文摘Genomic selection(GS)has been widely used in livestock,which greatly accelerated the genetic progress of complex traits.The population size was one of the significant factors affecting the prediction accuracy,while it was limited by the purebred population.Compared to directly combining two uncorrelated purebred populations to extend the reference population size,it might be more meaningful to incorporate the correlated crossbreds into reference population for genomic prediction.In this study,we simulated purebred offspring(PAS and PBS)and crossbred offspring(CAB)base on real genotype data of two base purebred populations(PA and PB),to evaluate the performance of genomic selection on purebred while incorporating crossbred information.The results showed that selecting key crossbred individuals via maximizing the expected genetic relationship(REL)was better than the other methods(individuals closet or farthest to the purebred population,CP/FP)in term of the prediction accuracy.Furthermore,the prediction accuracy of reference populations combining PA and CAB was significantly better only based on PA,which was similar to combine PA and PAS.Moreover,the rank correlation between the multiple of the increased relationship(MIR)and reliability improvement was 0.60-0.70.But for individuals with low correlation(Cor(Pi,PA or B),the reliability improvement was significantly lower than other individuals.Our findings suggested that incorporating crossbred into purebred population could improve the performance of genetic prediction compared with using the purebred population only.The genetic relationship between purebred and crossbred population is a key factor determining the increased reliability while incorporating crossbred population in the genomic prediction on pure bred individuals.Jun Zhou Qing Lin Xueyan Feng Duanyang Ren Jinyan Teng Xibo Wu Dan Wu Xiaoke Zhang Xiaolong Yuan Zanmou Chen Jiaqi Li Zhe Zhang Hao Zhang 2024Journal of Integrative Agriculture2024,23,2:0
19Enhanced monopole transition strength from the cluster decay of ^(13)C显示文摘The inelastic excitations and cluster decay of ^(13)C have been measured using the reaction,9Be(^(13)C, ^(13)C* →~9Be + α)~9Be. We observe strong excitation to the 14.3-MeV(1/2-) resonant state from the cluster-decay channel, leading to an enhanced monopole matrix element of(6.3 ± 0.6) fm^2. This large cluster-related monopole strength is a clear indication of the cluster-structure domination of this state and is consistent with the recent prediction of the orthogonality condition model(OCM). 20Neoproterozoic Diamictite of the Luoquan Formation from the North China Block and Their Implications显示文摘Glacial diamictite may provide important information on paleoenvironment and average composition of the upper continental crust(UCC).In this study,we report sedimentary facies,petrological and geochemical characteristics of Neoproterozoic diamictite from a profile of the Luoquan Formation on the southern margin of the North China Block(NCB).Upwards the sampling profile,lithostratigraphic strata vary from massive diamictite with poorly sorted carbonate gravels to laminated diamictite with small gravels of terrestrial detrital materials.Along the profile,CaO-MgO-LOI-Sr values decrease with the increase of SiO_(2)-Al2O_(3)-K2O contents.All these petrological and geochemical variations indicate a change from lodgement till deposition in the proximal of ice sheet to ice-rafting deposition in glacial-marine environment with less dolomite to supply their source.Together with previous studies on diamictite from other outcrops on the NCB,the deposition of Luoquan diamictite reflects that the glaciation on the NCB vanished and the ice-rafting effect weakened with glacial transgression process.In addition,significant co-variations of various elements with La and Al2O_(3)confirm the significant conservation of most analyzed elements during the sedimentary processes to produce diamictite.Peishan Sui Weidong Sun Nan Han Lei Wang Shiwen Xie Zihang Huang Xiaohong Wang Hongmei Gong Jin Liu Jinyan Lin Yuanyuan Xiao 2023Journal of Earth Science2023,34,4:0
