1Ectopic osteogenesis and angiogenesis regulated by porous architecture of hydroxyapatite scaffolds with similar interconnecting structure in vivo显示文摘The macro-pore sizes of porous scaffold play a key role for regulating ectopic osteogenesis and angiogenesis but many researches ignored the influence of interconnection between macro-pores with different sizes.In order to accurately reveal the relationship between ectopic osteogenesis and macro-pore sizes in dorsal muscle and abdominal cavities of dogs,hydroxyapatite(HA)scaffolds with three different macro-pore sizes of 500–650,750–900 and 1100–1250 mm were prepared via sugar spheres-leaching process,which also had similar interconnecting structure determined by keeping the d/s ratio of interconnecting window diameter to macro-pore size constant.The permeability test showed that the seepage flow of fluid through the porous scaffolds increased with the increase of macro-pore sizes.The cell growth in three scaffolds was not affected by the macro-pore sizes.The in vivo ectopic implantation results indicated that the macro-pore sizes of HA scaffolds with the similar interconnecting structure have impact not only the speed of osteogenesis and angiogenesis but also the space distribution of newly formed bone.The scaffold with macro-pore sizes of 750–900 mm exhibited much faster angiogenesis and osteogenesis,and much more uniformly distribution of new bone than those with othermacro-pore sizes.This work illustrates the importance of a suitable macro-pore sizes in HA scaffolds with the similar interconnecting structure which provides the environment for ectopic osteogenesis and angiogenesis.Jinyu Li Wei Zhi Taotao Xu Feng Shi Ke Duan JianxinWang Yandong Mu Jie Weng 2016Regenerative Biomaterials2016,3,5:16
2Investigations on Discharge and Decomposition Characteristics of SF6 Under Various Experimental Conditions显示文摘Detection of gas decomposition products is widely used for condition diagnosis of SF6-insulated equipment because of its an- ti-electromagnetic-interference ability and high sensitivity. Previous investigations show that the volume of gas chamber influences the types and concentrations of SF6 decomposition products. Therefore using a newly developed dual gas chromatography (GC) detection sys- tem we investigated the discharge and decomposition of SF6 in a discharge chamber with its volume close to that of the real chambers in GIS. Tests in the chamber were performed with different applied voltage, different electrode arrangements, and different defect types. For discharge between needle-to-plane electrodes, the typical gas decomposition products are SO2F2, SO2 and S2OF10. A near linear growth with the increase of voltage duration is found in the concentration of SO2F2, whereas the growth rates of SO2 and S2OF10 concentration decrease with time. Concentrations of SO2F2, SO2 and S2OF10 at the same voltage duration decrease with the decrease of the voltage amplitude and the increase of the needle-to-plane distance. Change of the gas chamber volume affects the generation rates of SO2F2 and SO2, however not S2OF10. For insulator surface defects, the typical gas decomposition products are CF4, CS2 and SO2. Among which, the concentrations of CF4 and SO2 increase with the voltage duration almost linearly. Moreover, a new parameter that represents the degree of SF6 degradation, the SF6 deterioration ratio, is proposed. In the needle-to-plane case, SF6 deterioration ratio is positively correlated to the fitting value of an averaged discharge capacity. 3HIGH TEMPERATURE DISPLACEMENT SENSOR显示文摘A high temperature displacement sensor based on the principle of eddy-current is investigated. A new temperature compensation technique by using eddy-current effect is presented to satisfy the special requirement at high temperature up to 550℃. The experiment shows that the temperature compensation technique leads to good temperature stability for the sensors. The variation of the sensitivity as well as the temperature drift of the sensor with temperature compensation technique is only about 7.4% and 90~350 mV at 550℃ compared with that at room temperature, and that of the sensor without temperature compensation technique is about 31.2% and 2~3 V at 550℃ compared with that at room temperature. A new dynamic calibration method for the eddy-current displacement sensor is presented, which is very easy to be realized especially in high frequency and at high temperatures. 4Effect of Ultraviolet Aging on the Bonding and Tensile Properties of Polymer-Cement Composite显示文摘In this paper,the specimens of polymer-cement composites after 1 d,7 d,15 d,and 30 d aging without aging and UV aging are subjected to fixed extension test and tensile test.By observing the mode of the composite in the fixed-elongation test,and measuring the elastic recovery rate,tensile strength,elongation at break,peak tensile strain,tensile toughness and pre-peak tensile toughness of the composite,the effects of UV aging on the bonding and the tensile properties of the composite were studied.And combining with scanning electron microscopy experiments,the micro-mechanism of the effect of ultraviolet aging on the properties of composite was analyzed.The results showed that the composite had a good bonding property,and no damage was observed after UV aging for 30 days.The UV aging increased the elastic recovery rate and peak tensile within a certain range.The elastic recovery rate and peak tensile strain of the composite increased by 6.60%and 23.55%respectively after UV aging for 15 days.Therefore,the UV aging could enhance the tensile property and the tensile energy consumption performance of the composite.The tensile strength of the composite increased by 65.36%after UV aging for 30 days.The tensile toughness and pre-peak tensile toughness of the composite were increased by 43.29%and 101.83%respectively after UV aging for 15 days.The elongation at break of composite decreased continuously after UV aging due to the photo-oxygen reaction,as well as secondary hydration reaction and cross-linking curing reaction of cement.Zhihang Wang Jinyu Xu Xin Meng Congjin Zhu 2021Journal of Renewable Materials2021,9,6:5
5The normal cell proliferation and wound healing effect of polysaccharides from Ganoderma amboinense显示文摘To study the cell proliferation and wound healing activity of polysaccharides from Ganoderma amboinense(GAMPS),the polysaccharide was extracted by water extraction and alcohol precipitation method,and its monosaccharide composition and molecular weight were analyzed.The effects of different concentrations of GAMPS on the cell proliferation were determined by cell survival rate test,and the wound healing ability of GAMPS to NIH/3T3 cells was detected.The preliminary evaluation of the antioxidant ability of GAMPS was conducted by the oxygen radical absorbance capacity(ORAC).The results showed that the GAMPS was composed of glucose,mannose,and galactose at a molar ratio of 67.62:14.07:7.50,and the weightaverage molecular weights were 5.439×10^(6) and 1.704×10^(5) g/mol by using high-performance gel-permeation chromatography-multiple angle laser scatter(HPGPC-MALS)analysis.GAMPS(0.2μg/μL)showed the strongest proliferation ability to THP-1 cells,with cell survival rate of 178.7%.The wound healing effect of GAMPS(0.1μg/μL)was obvious on NIH/3T3 and 3.75μg/μL of GAMPS showed the strongest total antioxidant ability.All the results indicate that GAMPS promotes cell proliferation,and has cell wound healing effect and strong antioxidant activity.The results provide theoretical foundation for the development and utilization of GAMPS.Shuangzhi Zhao Ming Lei Hui Xu Hailun He Alexander Suvorov Junhua Wang Jiying Qiu Qingxin Zhou Jinyu Yang Leilei Chen 2021Food Science and Human Wellness2021,10,4:4
6Influence of confi ning pressure and impact loading on mechanical properties of amphibolite and sericite-quartz schist显示文摘In order to investigate the dynamic mechanical properties of amphibolite and sericite-quartz schist under confi ning pressure, two rocks are subjected to impact loadings with different strain rates and confi ning pressures by using split Hopkinson pressure bar equipment with a confi ning pressure device. Based on the experimental results, the stress-strain curves are analyzed and the effects of confi ning pressure and strain rates on the dynamic compressive strength, peak strain and failure mode are summarized. The results show that:(1) The characteristics of two rocks in the ascent stage of the stressstrain curve are basically the same, but in the descent stage, the rocks gradually show plastic deformation characteristics as the confi ning pressure increases.(2) The dynamic compressive strength and peak strain of two rocks increase as the strain rate increases and the confi ning pressure effects are obvious.(3) Due to the effect of confi ning pressure, the normal stress on the damage surface of the rock increases correspondingly, the bearing capacity of the crack friction exceeds the material cohesion and the slippage of the fractured rock is controlled, which all lead to the compression and shear failure mode of rock. 8Genomic landscapes of Chinese sporadic autism spectrum disordersrevealed by whole-genome sequencing显示文摘Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is a neurodevelopmental disorder with considerable clinical and genetic heterogeneity.In this study,we identified all classes of genomic variants from whole-genome sequencing (WGS) dataset of 32 Chinese trios with ASD,including de novo mutations,inherited variants,copy number variants (CNVs) and genomic structural variants.A higher mutation rate (Poisson test,P<2.2×10^(-16)) in exonic (1.37×10^(-8)) and 3'-UTR regions (1.42×10^(-8)) was revealed in comparison with that of whole genome (1.05×10^(-8)).Using an integrated model,we identified 87 potentially risk genes (P<0.01) from 4832 genes harboring various rare deleterious variants,including CHD8 and NRXN2,implying that the disorders may be in favor to multiple-hit.In particular,frequent rare inherited mutations of several microcephaly-associated genes (ASPM,WDR62,and ZNF335)were found in ASD.In chromosomal structure analyses,we found four de novo CNVs and one de novo chromosomal rearrangement event,including a de novo duplication of UBE3A-containing region at 15q11.2-q13.1,which causes Angelman syndrome and microcephaly,and a disrupted TNR due to de novo chromosomal translocation t (1;5) (q25.1;q33.2).Taken together,our results suggest that abnormalities of centrosomal function and chromatin remodeling of the microcephaly-associated genes may be implicated in pathogenesis of ASD.Adoption of WGS as a new yet efficient technique to illustrate the full genetic spectrum in complex disorders,such as ASD,could provide novel insights into pathogenesis,diagnosis and treatment.Jinyu Wu Ping Yu Xin Jin Xiu Xu Jinchen Li Zhongshan Li Mingbang Wang Tao Wang Xueli Wu Yi Jiang Wanshi Cai Junpu Mei Qingjie Min Qiong Xu Bingrui Zhou Hui Guo Ping Wang Wenhao Zhou Zhengmao Hu Yingrui Li Tao Cai Yi Wang Kun Xia Yong-Hui Jiang Zhong Sheng Sun 2018Journal of Genetics and Genomics2018,45,10:3
9Characteristic dysbiosis in gout and the impact of a uric acid-lowering treatment,febuxostat on the gut microbiota显示文摘Gut dysbiosis is suggested to play a critical role in the pathogenesis of gout.The aim of our study was to identify the characteristic dysbiosis of the gut microbiota in gout patients and the impact of a commonly used uric acid-lowering treatment,febuxostat on gut microbiota in gout.16S ribosomal RNA sequencing and metagenomic shotgun sequencing was performed on fecal DNA isolated from 38 untreated gout patients,38 gout patients treated with febuxostat,and 26 healthy controls.A restriction of gut microbiota biodiversity was detected in the untreated gout patients,and the alteration was partly restored by febuxostat.Biochemical metabolic indexes involved in liver and kidney metabolism were significantly associated with the gut microbiota composition in gout patients.Functional analysis revealed that the gut microbiome of gout patients had an enriched function on carbohydrate metabolism but a lower potential for purine metabolism,which was comparatively enhanced in the febuxostat treated gout patients.A classification microbial model obtained a high mean area under the curve up to 0.973.Therefore,gut dysbiosis characterizings gout could potentially serve as a noninvasive diagnostic tool for gout and may be a promising target of future preventive interventions.Suxian Lin Tao Zhang Lingxiao Zhu Kun Pang Saisai Lu Xin Liao Senhong Ying Lixia Zhu Xin Xu Jinyu Wu Xiaobing Wang 2021Journal of Genetics and Genomics2021,48,9:3

11The study of magnetic topological semimetals by first principles calculations显示文摘Magnetic topological semimetals(TSMs)are topological quantum materials with broken time-reversal symmetry(TRS)and isolated nodal points or lines near the Fermi level.Their topological properties would typically reveal from the bulk-edge correspondence principle as nontrivial surface states such as Fermi arcs or drumhead states,etc.Depending on the degeneracies and distribution of the nodes in the crystal momentum space,TSMs are usually classified into Weyl semimetals(WSMs),Dirac semimetals(DSMs),nodal-line semimetals(NLSMs),triple-point semimetals(TPSMs),etc.In this review article,we present the recent advances of magnetic TSMs from a computational perspective.We first review the early predicted magnetic WSMs such as pyrochlore iridates and HgCr_(2)Se_(4),as well as the recently proposed Heusler,Kagome layers,and honeycomb lattice WSMs.Then we discuss the recent developments of magnetic DSMs,especially CuMnAs in Type-III and EuCd_(2)As_(2) in Type-IV magnetic space groups(MSGs).Then we introduce some magnetic NLSMs that are robust against spin–orbit coupling(SOC),namely Fe_(3)GeTe_(2) and LaCl(LaBr).Finally,we discuss the prospects of magnetic TSMs and the interesting directions for future research.Jinyu Zou Zhuoran He Gang Xu 2019npj Computational Materials2019,,1:2
12Implantable blood clot loaded with BMP-2 for regulation of osteoimmunology and enhancement of bone repair显示文摘The treatment of large-area bone defects still faces many difficulties and challenges.Here,we developed a blood clot delivery platform loaded with BMP-2 protein(BMP-2@BC)for enhanced bone regeneration.Blood clot gel platform as natural biomaterials can be engineered from autologous blood.Once implanted into the large bone defect site,it can be used for BMP-2 local delivery,as well as modulating osteoimmunology by recruiting a great number of macrophages and regulating their polarization at different stages.Moreover,due to the deep-red color of blood clot gel,mild localized hyperthermia under laser irradiation further accelerated bone repair and regeneration.We find that the immune niche within the bone defect microenvironment can be modulated in a controllable manner by the blood clots implantation and laser treatment.We further demonstrate that the newly formed bone covered almost 95%of the skull defect area by our strategy in both mice and rat disease models.Due to the great biocompatibility,photothermal potential,and osteoimmunomodulation capacity,such technology shows great promise to be used in further clinical translation.Qin Fan Jinyu Bai Huajian Shan Ziying Fei Hao Chen Jialu Xu Qingle Ma Xiaozhong Zhou Chao Wang 2021Bioactive Materials2021,6,11:2
13RANS Simulation for the Maneuvering and Control of a Suboff Submarine Model显示文摘Submarine maneuverability has been analyzed by means of computational fluid dynamics(CFD).This approach provides an alternative,accurate,and cost-effective method for simulating actual flow.The numerical results show that the numerical simulation of the viscous flow related to a moving submarine based on the RANS equation with a relevant turbulence model can not only provide rich flow field details such as flow separation,but also accurately predict its hydrodynamic performance.The present study indicates that CFD can be used to forecast the submarine’s maneuverability in the initial design stage.The present results will be used in the future as a basis for analyzing methods to reduce the vibration and noise generated by the submarine.Jinyu Ren Dezhi Xu Jing Xu 2020Fluid Dynamics & Materials Processing2020,16,3:2

19QNE1 is a key flowering regulator determining the length of the vegetative period in soybean cultivars显示文摘The soybean E1 gene is a major regulator that plays an important role in flowering time and maturity.However,it remains unclear how cultivars carrying the dominant E1 allele adapt to the higher latitudinal areas of northern China.We mapped the novel quantitative trait locus QNE1(QTL near E1) for flowering time to the region proximal to E1 on chromosome 6 in two mapping populations.Positional cloning revealed Glyma.06G204300,encoding a TCP-type transcription factor,as a strong candidate gene for QNE1.Association analysis further confirmed that functional single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs) at nucleotides 686 and 1,063 in the coding region of Glyma.06G204300 were significantly associated with flowering time.The protein encoded by the candidate gene is localized primarily to the nucleus.Furthermore,soybean and Brassica napus plants overexpressing Glyma.06G204300 exhibited early flowering.We conclude that despite their similar effects on flowering time,QNE1 and E4 may control flowering time through different regulatory mechanisms,based on expression studies and weighted gene co-expression network analysis of flowering time-related genes.Deciphering the molecular basis of QNE1 control of flowering time enriches our knowledge of flowering gene networks in soybean and will facilitate breeding soybean cultivars with broader latitudinal adaptation.Zhengjun Xia Hong Zhai Yanfeng Zhang Yaying Wang Lu Wang Kun Xu Hongyan Wu Jinglong Zhu Shuang Jiao Zhao Wan Xiaobin Zhu Yi Gao Yingxiang Liu Rong Fan Shihao Wu Xin Chen Jinyu Liu Jiayin Yang Qijian Song Zhixi Tian 2022Science China(Life Sciences)2022,65,12:1
